I had high hopes for this nail salon since it had such great comments and ratings. I called and inquired on there prices. She quoted $26 for powder topped with clear gel. I went ahead and made an appointment because they ONLY take appointments. There are ONLY 2 that work there. One does nails and the other pedicures. She began to tell me their salon policy. Appointments only AND cash only. She says that I did not need a new set but they do not have colored powder either. I was a little apprehensive but she says she has a gel nail color similar to the colored powder I requested.I agreed to that. She began removing the set I had and cut/trimmed my nails short. Then applied the basic powder and gel color. It took her about 2 1/2 hours. Because it was a fill and gel color, it ended up costing me $40. I was not happy with this whole experience. The color was uneven and couple of my nails cut too short. AND too priceyNeedless to say, Im not making a return.

This is the BEST nail shop I’ve ever been to. I’ve been coming for 30 years. I’ve tried others when I moved out of the area but had never been happy. Every time I was in the area visiting family I HAD to make an appointment. I’m so glad my work brought me back to this area to be with them. I have had the pleasure of having both, Julie and Kim taking care of my nails. Excellent service!! Excellent Quality work!!! Yes you have to make an appointment but that’s only because they take their time and do the best quality work I’ve ever had. They don’t talk in their native language while working on you. They give “you” the personal attention you deserve.They are up front with the price with what you ask for. If you change your mind they make sure that’s what you want and that you are aware of the price difference.

Julie and Kim are both professional, kind, and respectful. This is the cleanest shop I’ve ever been in and I’ve had many pedicures! They don’t rush you in and out and their work is meticulous. I would highly (and I have many times) recommend both ladies. I love that they’re the only manicurists in their “self owned” shop - you don’t find that anymore!

Went in without an appointment. Was asked what I wanted done. After I told her she says “...we’re booked solid today.” Makes me wonder why she didn’t lead with that? 🤔

They are never busy but insist that you make an appointment. They say they take walk-ins but they wont. And, theyre not very nice. World Nails in Vista off South Santa Fe is the best. They have wonderful service, family-owned and they dont talk about you in a different language.

The owners (Kim & Julie) treat their clients like family & give the BEST care & treatment Ive ever had. Its nothing likethe quick in-&-out service you experience at many nail salons. Here, they listen to and cater to all your needs. I appreciate their great service & time, given to each and every client. You definitely get the ROYAL treatment here! They also give you helpful recommendations to improve the health of your hands & feet. Theyre very knowledgeable & engaging in every way. No wonder theyve been in the area for 20-plus years, surviving the ups & downs of a troubled economy! They also get repeat business & clients from all over San Diego. Three CHEERS for this place, and I wish you continued success. Ill be back soon for yet another stellar manicure & pedicure!!

Ive been going to Julie and Kim for years now and LOVE their new location in Vista! They do a great job, everything is super clean and I can sit back and enjoy myself. Best nail salon in North County! She helped grow out my natural nails and get away from acrylics & gels and now I always get compliments on my beautiful nails.

My favorite salon move to 737 Shadowridge Dr, Vista, CA 92083 from Oceanside. I love this place so much that I will follow them to vista. I have been coming to the Nail Boutique for over 26 years. I highly recommend it. Kim and Julie are great!

Julie and Kim, are the best. They take their time with each customer. Their prices are more than fair without add on prices for this or that like some salons. I have been coming to them for over 20 years getting my manicures and pedicures. I wont go to anyone else.
