Finally! Somewhere I can trust. I would definitely recommend this place for a one stop shop for your vehicle. I’ve done everything from the smog, transmission, brakes, and a lot more here. Dale will always help you out and shoot it straight. He also is not going to try and haggle you and force you to do things that aren’t needed to be done with your car. Every type of vehicle. I brought in my SUV for complete brake job and 60K service. Technician ran analyzer on error codes, identified issues immediately, and made recommendations. They identified wear on a front tire and even took the time to call Discount Tire, drive the vehicle over so we could get everything done in one day. Outstanding service! Highly recommend!

RC Auto provided me with prompt and professional service...really, Johnny on the spot help. I had taken my car to another shop to get my brakes done, but they couldnt get my brakes to work right and they actually suggested I take it to RC Auto. I did. It was Friday afternoon and I needed my car back that day so I would have wheels for the weekend. They were busy and short handed that day, but they still got my car back to me by the end of the day, and it works perfectly. I highly recommend them. :)

They replaced a left headlamp bulb, but had to order the socket clip it went into because it had melted and needed replacing as well. They ordered the extra part and it arrived right away. This business is very adept, responsive, competent, courteous, timely, and highly reasonable. They are among the very best.

I was referred to RC by another business in our area that did not do smog certs. I was very please to find RC was so close to my shop and that they were able to fit me in working my personal time frame. The people are warm and inviting and had a answer to all my questions without having to refer to someone else. I found each person to be knowledgeable in a verity of fields and I know I will be going back for other services.

Robert and his team are awesome! Very easy to locate on Santa Fe Ave, with a nice big shop less than 1 mile from the freeway. They can do smog and repairs! Call them or stop by, they can help you either way

I took my 98 Cadillac in for a diagnostic on my day off and was left without a phone call or a car for 5 days. Giving RC auto the benefit of the doubt, I waited for their call until ten minutes before closing at which time I made to call to them to find out what was going on with my car. All I received was, we will call as soon as we know or were still working on it. Furthermore, at no point was I told what the diagnostics would cost me until I finally called to get my car out of there. When I did call I was told that because my car was in there for a couple of days that it was going to cost me more for the diagnostics. At no point was I told this and at no point was I called to be notified that my car would need to be kept for several days and, as a result, that it was going to cost more. Also, the diagnostic fee that RC auto charges is not included into the cost of labor and repair. The diagnostic fee is on top of what it costs to fix your car. So, add 100 bucks to whatever your car needs done and thats your cost. Every other place I have experienced adds that fee into the labor and parts cost. I read these reviews thinking I was going to finally find my trustworthy mechanic, but unfortunately I will not be returning to RC auto again. If you are a younger person trying to get work done on your car, I recommend you bring a parent with you to make sure you dont pay 100 bucks to be out of a car for days without a clue what is going on.

Friendly and fast Family business. I had both my cars smogged in less than 30 minutes, and used their on-line coupon to save about $40. The customer in front of me had his truck fail the test, and the Mechanic spent some time explaining what he had to do next. Ill be back!!

RC auto and smog is the best!!! Robert and robin are a great team, my truck broke down and I was stranded for 3 hours, had it towed to them and Robert troubleshooted the check engine, popped the hood and found a loose connection that was making it shut down, I was on my way within minutes, I have known Robert for over 20 years, I’m grateful to no that they are there when I need the work done right!Anthony

January 01, 2020Robert and his excellent mechanics were able to solve complicated issues both smog and mechanical on my recently purchased 2001 Volvo. I was ready to give up but all of them “put their heads together” and then replaced worn parts and fixed and adjusted fixable parts and were able to both Smog and fix major problems. I love how thorough Robert is and his respect an excellent cooperation with his mechanics allowing for their professional observations and input that solved several major problems.Thank you R C Auro .. My family has had Robert Colandrea service all of our vehicles for over 25 years. Robert and his staff at R C Auto are all talented mechanics. Rc auto a rip off they are part changers not mechanic cost me 300$ to change o2 sensor then not hold up to there warranty they lie about it dont go there
