I tried Aero Auto Repair in Vista for regular maintenance on my VW Jetta because it is closer to my home than the place I normally used. I was very pleased with their service. Everyone was professional and knowledgeable about what services I requested. The waiting room was clean and comfortable and my car was delivered to me in good working order in less time than I was told. I would definitely recommend Aero Auto Repair in Vista.

This location has a new owner and company name, but just as good as the company before. I went in for my routine oil change. I had a slow leak in a tire so they plugged it and I was able to drive the weekend before getting new tires elsewhere on the following Monday. I also had a torn wiper and they replaced that too. Three services for a reasonable $116. The waiting room is clean, spacious, with a nearby clean bathroom. Probably the nicest you will find at a mechanic shop. They keep track of your cars needs, no surprises in the future. With a 2006 vehicle, this is very important to me.

Im please with the service. I went there because the previous owner inform me about them. I needed to replace the right lock in my car and for been the first time I like the service because I feel they will the tradition of the previous owner which I saw for 25 years. Chris and Jim were amazing and took care of my car and kept me updated as much as they could. Punctual and honest. Very low pressure folks. Valvoline messed up my car and my insurance chose this shop. 10/10 recommend and would go again :) left my car beautifully repaired and fought for the repairs to be done at no cost to me but instead to Valvoline. You’ll regret not using them!

Took the Avalon in for an oil change. They also did a vehicle inspection. Very pleased with the updates during the process. Asked if I wanted these issues addressed to save on another trip to the shop. Well done guys we will be back.

Went in to get a crankshaft seal replaced. Told me they needed to do their inspection first and steam clean the engine to confirm it needed that. $350 later, “oh yea, you need a new crankshaft seal”. Like, uh, yea that’s why I asked for one.$1250 quote for the crankshaft seal and oil pan gasket. Which I was ok with. Asked for an oil filter and fan belt to be covered on the house and they said no. Asked them to take it off the lift and then magically got a call...“worked the numbers a bit and I can get ya that belt and filter”.That floored me... nice guys, I just don’t like getting nickel and dimed.

If I could give 0 I absolutely would, so Id have to say the only star there is Tessa as she was kind and pleasant. Otherwise,thee (yes thee) absolute WORST EXPERIENCE Ive EVER had with a shop, and I work for Geico as an auto accident claims adjuster! I work with customers who are involved in car accidents, and turn to us for recommendations on the best places for their repair issues, and I would NOT, and I REPEAT WOULD NOT TAKE MY CAR HERE AGAIN!I DROVE my car there to get brakes, smog, oil change, and a power steering issue checked out. I didnt rush them, and I was never rude nor disrespectful to any of the staff. I was accused by the MANAGER of lying about requesting a smog, when I spoke to a representative face to face and requested the smog before I left the office, oh and the MANAGER that accused me of lying about my request for a smog on day one never even spoke to me the first time I arrived to the shop, so how exactly would she know what I requested?. They basically charged be $1400.00 for regular brakes, and an oil change Im not even sure was done, then told me they recycle my ecu codes when diagnosing the power steering issue my vehicle was brought in for as part of my requested services ( Oil, Smog, Brakes, Power Steering) So, why would you do the power steering 1st knowing youre going to have to reset the battery instead of smogging it first, then doing the power steering diagnosis afterwards? Rather than leaving me with a car I cant smog now until I drive it enough? Mind you I was quoted over 7k to fix JUST the power steering issue. I get to the shop to pay for my obviously overcharged brake job of $1400.00, and they tell me they can now do my smog all of a sudden and to kindly wait for 15 more mins, after theyve had my car for almost 3 days at this point, btw. I decline their offer to do my now free smog, as if to say I was being offered something when they already wasted my time, and hard earned money.....I refused their free service for them to only 10 minutes later say that they cant do my smog because my factory turbod vehicle has upgraded blow off valves wont pass inspection, but mind you I took my car to a random shop to get it smogged and it passed. The representative even commented that if I have a friend that will pass it for me thats fine, but that they wouldnt risk their license to help me. I didnt even request the smog to be done after they clearly messed up, and immediately requested my car back when I got to the shop to pay for their poor service, and inflated prices....so why this poor excuse for a representative face of any business was telling me about their license was quite baffling to me when I just wanted my car as far away from these crooks as possible! I paid their bail fee to get my car back, and the representative rudely dropped my keys on the table and said to me well if thats how you treat people. Im sorry, but did I bring a car here to your business where you should ALWAYS TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS WITH RESPECT NO MATTER WHAT, ESPECIALLY IF THE REASON THEYRE UPSET IS DUE TO YOUR NEGLIGENCE! I brought my car there, and left wishing that I never looked this place up on Google. Not just too long ago local businesses were hurting due to the pandemic, and Im all for supporting local businesses, but this one, this one, I hope eventually gets the Karma coming to them that they deserve for the way I was treated as a customer. Save your time, and your energy, and your money! Please! Stay away! If youre wronged, they WILL NOT make it right, nor attempt to.

I was a customer of North County Import Specialist with my Infiniti and I came back with my Subaru and found a new owner and management. The customer service exceeded my expectations by far. They have a nice clean lounge to wait in if you want. Chris, the manager, took me into the shop to show me the problem while the car was on the lift. He emailed me a clear proposal for the work which I appreciate as much digital as possible these days. He ordered parts and then had me bring in my car so that it wasnt just sitting there. When I brought it in he ordered me a Lyft back home. He kept in communication with me so that I wasnt wondering when it would be done. The CVT in my Outback needed a new liquid gasket and no more leaks! They had to do a lot of teardown to get to it and they only had it for 1 day. Im a customer for life. Thanks!

I have an old trusty 2004 Nissan Titan 4x4 that needed some extensive updating and maintenance, some of it requiring a bit more labor than routine maintenance, and NCIS definitely did a quality job that will last another 16 years. Im definitely using them from now on for routine oil changes, etc., and I suggest you give them a try!UPDATE 8/2/21: WE had some major work done to our older Camry, and are extremely happy with the work and new owners under the new name Aero. Glenn is very knowledgeable, but more importantly he is honest and trustworthy. His prices are reasonable, and he never tries to sell me something I dont need . He is easy to talk to, and he and his team do excellent work. I have been bringing my cars here for years, and I have never had any complaints. They take very good care of my cars. He is always able to accommodate me whenever I want to take my car in for service. On my last visit, he was able to service my car right away. I had an oil change and tire rotation and he got me in and out very quickly. He was really helpful and provided me some useful information about my car that is going to save me money.

I went in for oil/filter change. I left paying over $11 more than I pay at Honda dealer for same service. I expected to pay less from a local shop as they don’t have the gigantic overhead like the dealer. That didn’t happen unfortunately.
