Stock is in disarray. Looks like no one is putting things back where they belong. Everyone is helpful and pleasant when you find them but seems like they are short on staff which makes them hard to find. I was at the store in Chesapeake looking for molding which they were out of but said the store in Virginia Beach had 300 pieces. I found 13 good ones and one damaged piece. Cashier scanned one item 3 times because we had 3 but they were not the same. When pointed out to her she replied that they were all the same size so they were the same price. That doesnt help in tracking inventory properly which might explain why one store thought they had 300 pieces instead of 14.
They need more employees. Couldnt find anybody to help me and the only person on the floor was the guy in the paint department. No actual people to check you out and you have to use self-serve for everything. They must have a terrible amount of inventory loss. Im honest but Im sure not everyone is and the lady at the door who checks your receipt didnt even look at it. Good luck to them
Folks, its a self serve world with all these places. Forget about getting anyone to help you in the aisle. Even when you do find someone, you basically have same type of employee thats behind the auto parts counter. Asked about a product that was up in top stock. The employee said hed never seen it before. The old, if you dont see it, we dont have it. But its right there....... Oh, never seen that before.
Sep21- “3 in stock” item- was told by associate have been out for a while & aware online incorrect-just haven’t updated. Last unit sold Apr21. She informed me I should have called 1st like accurate info is my job.
There was no shortage of help on the floor, and I needed help at three different times. Also they actually had a real life cashier, and I was not forced to use self-checkout like their competitor only one day earlier. They had what I needed.

Always enjoy going to Lowes. Went there while waiting for my oil change next door. Was welcomed by all even having my puppy and great granddaughter with me. Couldnt find any baby oil to quiet the baby sqeeks though. Hehe
At least they are consistently not helpful and not friendly. When we asked for assistance, a lady staff walked by and answered us that she will get someone who is handling thatdepartment while she continued to walk not even bothered to try to know what our question was. Alas, we waited for 15 minutes for nobody so we decided to just leave.
They were nice to take a heavy box to the counter for me because I have trouble lifting. A loader put the box in my car. I love lowes.
Was in there late one night and staff was scarce, as expected at that time. Needed help getting electrical wire. Bam was on his way out for his break and instead of leaving me hanging, he came over to help. Lowes is great, but employees like that in a machine that is a large H/W store is how to truly build a loyal customer base.
Not one employee said hello or asked if I needed help. It appeared as if the employees who were not busy, ran away from customers to avoid helping. I was also told that my dishwasher would be delivered a month later, which was not told to me during the sale.
Didnt have a problem, walked in and young lady was great, she went and brought it to me, very easy!

We had a return to make and my mother has been a victim of identity fraud. The return was made to the same account that was closed by our bank. The manager was unnecessarily rude and condescending. She did not listen when both of us explained all of our accounts had been closed due to the fraud and she continued to be rude. This is not how you treat people. We were there to make a purchase and to return an unused item, we could have done an in store exchange but they would not listen. I will avoid this particular store in the future.
I went to the Lowes off Virginia Beach Blvd to buy play sand. I bought it in the garden section and was told to go on their side and the bags would be loaded. I did that and then I was directed that I was on the wrong side and I had to drive on the other side. I did and then was told it was in the store by employees Mike and Andrew. I showed them my receipt and Mike and Andrew said no worries and they went and got it and loaded in my car. Great service. Thanks ! Great service and stepping up when they could have just told me to go to customer service.😊

I normally enjoy shopping at Lowes, however they did something this time that I really didnt appreciate. The store I normally shop at showed they had 12 toilet seats I wanted in stock. So I placed the order on line for for the 3 I needed for pick up in the store. I went the next day to pick them up & I was told the inventory was off and they didnt have them, which I was fine with that. I understand inventory being off, it happens. What I didnt like was they automatically changed my pick up order to a store about 15 miles away forcing me to spend more time than I had available to go pick up my order. What should have happened was i should hàve been given options, like have it shipped, or perhaps have the items transferred between stores for me as an accomodation for the inventory being off. I am less than satisfied with the way this issue was handled.
I ordered curbside pick up for a large tool cabinet. It was supposed to be ready same day but it wasn’t ready until the next morning which is fine. My problem came when I went to pick up. I used the app to say I was on my way and then checked in with the app when I arrived. After 10-15 minutes I tried calling the store number, but nobody answered. So I decided to go inside to the pickup area. There was nobody at the pickup register, but 2 people doing returns. After being told that I would be helped next they took another return customer. I was only helped when I spoke up about not having my call answered or the app working. After finally getting my order filled I was then left to load the large box into my car by myself.I understand that the weekends are busy, but what is the point of curbside pickup if I had to go into the store and then load the order myself.? I will probably not return to this location but instead stick to the Holland Road location.
Today I came in and had a big order and needed a lot of help Kevin and Mike at the pro desk were not only amazing help but they were also fun to be around I wont go anywhere else for anything except this store big shout out to Kevin and Mike you guys are awesome Keep It Funky.... side note Im still waiting for those to approve my Pro card though (wink wink lowes cororate )
I usually shop the competitor because I was a Tony Stewart fan and its closer to home but today I needed a part for my Greenworks pressure washer which I purchased a few years ago at Home Depot but they no longer carry this product and didnt have what I needed so I went to Lowes. A very nice gentleman got me to a man named Jimmy who knew all things pressure washers. Jimmy was very friendly & knowledgeable. Jimmy knew exacting what I was looking for and walked me to it. He even advised me on how to use it and he answered all my questions with useful answers. This employee will be the reason I return Lowes. Because of him I wont just go to the closest hardware store, I may just pass that one to come to you guys. Thank you Jimmy!

I went to lowes 7-12-2021 at 10:00 am attempting to purchase a dryer someone was when I arrived paged and never came I waited for 30 minutes to be helped no one came I left and came back later that day at 7:15 pm... It is 8:35 I am still currently waiting to purchase a dryer I will be going to home depot from now on thanks for the poor customer service lowes.
Yesterday I stopped at Lowes on VA Beach Blvd to buy some paint. I picked my color cards and went to the counter. The clerk asked what kind and of paint I wanted. Ive always been told that the brand on the card must be the brand you use or they cant guarantee the color match. I asked if there were any specials going on, to which she responded I dont know. I said I wanted 1 gallon each, latex, semi-gloss, in the cheapest brand we could get. She started looking at the tags on the stacks in the aisle. I pointed to the HGTV/Sherwin Williams for $29.88 per gallon and she told me where I could pick up my paint.I used the self-checkout and noticed the price rang up as over $36 each. When I took them to Customer Service (with a photo of the price chart), they called the paint clerk over. We concluded it was due to the semi-gloss. I said that should have been listed on the price chart, to which the clerk said Hey, we just work here. And walked away.Unacceptable! Please train clerks to mention price differences. A 24% price increase can be significant. Transparency can be found in many areas.And the paint is Acrylic, even though I saw her write Latex on my order.

I would give zero stars if I could. Absolute WORST customer service in store that I have ever experienced. No one knows what they are doing and they can’t perform simple tasks such as answering the phone. Will never set foot in a Lowe’s again!!!!!
Decent store, but make sure to bring your own cart in from parking lot. Also hard to find help in building materials and plumbing. But thats the norm these days, i suppose
I placed a large order for flooring at this location. I indicated I would like curbside pickup. I called the store to tell the clerk which curbside location I was parked in. I was told by the clerk... its raining and we dont do curbside when its raining... I explained I am on crutches and could not come in as she suggested. My 87 year old mother had driven me to the store. The clerk hemmed and hawed, I simply drove away. Please explain to me what curbside pick up means? Is this not a courtesy for customers who are not able to come in? Should I have sent my 87 year old mother in to pick up ten boxes of flooring? Worst experience at Lowes and if I could rate them at a minus, I would.

Went in to return something. There were 5 people standing there talking. One person was on the phone. They all looked at me standing there waiting for assistance. Not one person said someone will be with you. Then the person on the phone looks up walked off and then comes back to get back on the phone. Not a word said. Finally another couple comes in and the wife ask for a mask the girl gets her one and has to reach beside me to hand to her and finally says she can help me. After I have been standing there almost 5 mins with no one acknowledging me and my daughter.
Custom ordered a patio door and it came in two weeks earlier than expected. Lowes employees are great!

Nobody around to help, the ones I did ask know nothing about the store and kept sending me to wrong section all together, ( because that’s what their phone and website says 😟). Went to Home Depot and copper fittings were half as much as Lowe’s and in stock!

Fast in and out for minor home repairs, staff was everywhere and very helpful. Which is great, because this store is the size of a small island nation 😂And not for nothing, I choose Lowes as a vote with your wallet provider and avoid Home Depot. If it matters to you, keep up with who donates to which campaigns.

Lowes always has what you are looking for, though the store is so massive, it may take some assistance. Luckily the staff are willing to help you find what you are looking for, even if you dont know exactly what you need there. The go to place for home improvement needs includling electronic, up to date smart home products like doorbells, lights, thermostats and others.
We stopped in briefly to make a return of some extra supplies after a project. The return desk had 1 customer that was being helped by 2 associates. After about five minutes, they called up another associate to help. They were not able to make our returns and said they couldnt look up the purchase with our Lowes credit card. They told us we had to take them back to the location we had originally purchased them from. This seems very antiquated for a big box retailer. Very inconvenient
Customer service could be a bit better, but the selection is very vast. Most of the employees seem to be knowledgeable. And the prices are reasonable. But if I dont have to go there I prefer a smaller hardware store. I uploaded a photos and this is there help buttons for the woodcutting Department, had to search for a length of time for employee to help me.

Recently purchased a refrigerator. What confusion. I don’t know where to begin. I had to call multiple times, no one ever seem to know what was going on and the delivery did not occur when I was told it would. I pushed back a meeting to accommodate delivery, spoke with delivery service and they had no idea what was going on either. Refrigerator did not include ice maker even though I paid for it. Was told different stories about that. I had to do the legwork to get the icemaker on schedule now for delivery and installed, I had to speak with the manager finally. The various sales people I spoke with, they never followed through. Will not purchase appliances from the store in the future. Overall, very frustrating experience and took up too much of my time as I was on hold quite a bit trying to get this resolved.

Dealing with any of these places, their website, or any contractor they partner with is a nightmare. I thought, hey, everyone has bad days, so Ive given them a shot with projects from a water heater purchase and install to cabinetry and it just isnt worth the hell of it. Avoid and go elsewhere.

Had not been to this location in some time. Had been going to Home Depot because it was hard to find staff for assistance, customer service was not what one would call friendly, not very knowledgeable staff. That was again what we had run into. A great many staff standing talking to one another.

This location always has an excellent selection of plants. Which in turn means they have a good selection of the reduced price plants.Store was well stocked and their seasonal department looked good. I had no problem getting service in either department I visited. They didnt have the product I was Looking for but carry it online. Overall I was pleased.
I would like to give a shout out to Ron, a manager in the paint department. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and kind. Was able to help me find the product I was looking for and answer all my questions. His kindness meant EVERYTHING to me as a customer especially during these very difficult and stressful times.

This Lowes location has been a blessing ever since it opened up back a decade or more ago. Before then, we would have to drive way down the boulevard just to find a home improvement store. Here they always have great deals and outstanding service. My most recent buy was a DeWalt 20v combo pack. Great deal!
Customer service at this location was EXTREMELY poor. An associate that could have helped me out instead advised me to wait on an aisle for another associate that he never sent for. Associate MIKE who works in the key department evaded me particularly as I approached. I waited for twenty minutes and no one came to the specified aisle. I then found another associate who saw me looking for assistance and they paged over the intercom for help on the aisle where I was. Another fifteen minutes later, no one had come by and still, I received no help at all. Upon leaving, I walked back by Mike who was still doing nothing, and he said, “ No one ever came?” I told him no and he didn’t care.I left the store, but the service was so displeasing that I decided to re enter to speak with the store manager. No manager was available to speak with me, just a head cashier. Don’t expect help at this location. Their name is “Lowe’s” and that was the quality of my experience LOW!!!

Better than Lowes Norfolk. More organized and in-stock products. And the paper towel dispenser in the mens room wasnt hanging off the wall like the one in Norfolk. All of those tools in the store and not one guy can put a towel dispenser back on the wall.

I love a home improvement store. I had to order what I wanted online because it was out of stock in the store but thats okay. I made a mistake entering my email and had to call the store to fix it. They were able to edit my email rather quickly which was pleasant.
I WANT to like Lowes more, however, their workers never seem to have the information or send you off on wild goose chase. Of I need help, please take me to the item. Had to ask three different employees last time. Ridiculous
