Always so easy to rent at home depot and they are open late on the weekends. Equipment is usually in fairly good condition.
Fastest in-and-out when renting & advised me which bit to use which worked better than the one I was going to use.
Looked online for stump grinder availability, double checked I had correct store listed on “my store.” The large one said available at this location. I drive there and the gentlemen who was very nice said they have not had the tow behind one in the 4 years he has worked there. Offered the 13hp one but if you have ever used one of those it is a POS. Obviously not his fault but a defective online system that is not updated in real time and has issues. I typically call ahead but it was 530 am when I was heading out so that was not an option. Waste of time extremely frustrating. Norfolk tool rental has everything go there, always call ahead.
If you rent any tools from here dont be late. If you are over 15 minutes late you get charged big time. When is a machine for 24 hours as soon as I got it home, Mother Nature ported its butt off. It was a Big time delay on using mini skid steer with auger attachments to make 28 holes for my fence post. Anyways after getting all the work done and then pressure washing the machine off because it was covered in so much mud and then have drove it back to the store I was four hours late. So the $268.00 I spent for 24 hours turned into $506.00 for 28 hours. Oh and keep in mind equipment protection insurance is optional but they add it to the bill without asking or letting you know that.
