Wow! This experience was wonderful. We booked them at the last minute after being ghosted by Great White Water Sports. They were so helpful and made sign up easy. They started on time and Noah and Blake (our guides) were very helpful. We went out for 1hr+. We spent about 15 minutes at low speed to get to our designated area which was VERY helpful for my group of 4 because it was our first time. The size of the group that went out was reasonable (8 total) which was enough for our guides to quickly respond to help after we flipped over (which happened at least 5 times for our group of 4). Had a blast! Would definitely recommend.

Ill sum up my experience with one word.....Amazinglythebestexperienceever. hey that was 1 word. Lol, but seriously if you want the best and most safest experience you must go to them. I WAS a rookie but at the moment Brandon and Colby(I think thats his name) guy with umbrella out in the bay) lol. These 2 guys will make sure your safe watching over you while you press on that throttle. I felt as if I was the boss of the ocean on these jetski. I WAS a rookie but now Im knowledgeable thanks to them. My experience was unforgettable. ANYONE visiting VA MUST see them.

We had a blast jet skiing and came back a few days later for tubing and wake boarding! Very patient as it was our first time wake boarding. So much fun! Back Bay is so nice and not crowded. Everyone was great from booking to captain!

John was a phenomenal boat captain! Go ahead and book the extra hour, its totally worth it. He was very patient and helpful teaching our kids to wakeboard. He was also successful in throwing my boyfriend off the tube when he tried to hang with the kids! Most fun we had in VA Beach hands down! Dont forget to tip the man!

We had a beautiful sunset dinner cruise. Our captain John was so friendly and easy to talk to. The food was good, the sights beautiful. The boat itself was comfortable. We got to watch the sun set and see the dolphins swimming around. It was such a fun date night experience.

Bethany (the sweetest) and John (the coolest) were the best hosts for our water sports cruise. If you’re considering just go ahead and book it. It’s totally worth it and lots of fun for all. Definitely plan to plan another trip with just hubs and I!

My wife and I rented a jet ski for an hour. What an experience. We were well instructed and felt very comfortable with our guides. The ride was so enjoyable, wonderful atmosphere in the bay, and the jet ski was so powerful and fast. Absolutely the highlight of our trip. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We bite it twice and each time our guides were quick to come to our aid and helped us right back on to the machine. Cannot wait till next year to go out again! Thank you so much!

If I could give this experience ten stars, I would! The customer service was amazing— John, the captain, was extremely friendly, and checked in to ensure that our time was well spent. Captain John was amazing! He was so fun yet professional at the same time. Im nervous around boats and large bodies of water but was on a girls trip and didnt wanna be the oddball out. Bethany and John reassured me I would have fun and be safe and they were right! Had an awesome time!

My wife and I went for the two person dinner boat trip at sunset. It was one of the best experiences we had! It was our one year anniversary and celebrating my graduation so it was a great memory and the staff were the best people ever! They were so professional and the boat was so clean and I felt very comfortable with my wife enjoying the night with the wife! Highly recommend!!! Very much worth it!

Captin John was Excellent! We were a party 4 and went out for our first time wake boarding for my wifes birthday. His Excellent instructions gave us the ability to get up on our 2nd and 3rd time. He was very professional. We had great weather with some wind and chop in the bay. I 100% recommend Virginia Beach Watersports for anyone wanting a fun time on the water!

Worth every penny!!! Family adventure and everyone enjoyed every minute of it. Captain Jon was personable and accommodating. We had picked the tubing option for our family and he still offered for us to also try water-skiing and/or water boarding. We will definitely book again if were back in the area!

Had a great time on the boat with my family! Our captain was engaging and fun to be around. The boat had speakers and we would’ve seen dolphins if the water was warmer. We were allowed to bring home cooked food and drinks on and had a great time. We did the sunset cruise and it lasted a little over 1.5 hours. The sunset was of course beautiful! Remember to bring a coat for once the sun starts to set...it gets chilly out on the water :p

We had a great experience on our sunset cruise. We were out celebrating our soon-to-be 40th birthdays. Captain Jon was amazing... we laughed and joked like Old Friends. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a very knowledgeable and friendly captain for your water activities. We will be back for sure. The sunset cruise had amazing views and Captain Jon is a pretty good photographer too.

My family had a great time riding on a water Tube!I booked up for Tube 2 since I have elementary kids and very active 80 yrs old mother in law. Everybody had no problem at all riding on it and had great time! I think my kids will have no problems to ride on Tube 1 which is flat one next.

The Experience was far more than excellent! We went to Virginia Beach for the weekend to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. We had it booked for a 3 hour Watersports & Boat Cruise for a Saturday and unfortunately it was going to rain for an hour which it would cut our trip short. John was so nice and moved out trip to Sunday and took us in the earliest he could which Im not even sure if they were open that early but they took us in and he gave us the greatest 3 hours. He was soooo amazing and he made my boyfriends birthday extra special. He was so understanding to our needs. Staff were extraordinary. I would love to come back and will ABSOLUTELY recommend them.

My hunny and I booked the watersports cruise with Virginia Beach Watersports for his daughters 9th birthday and it was worth every penny!!! Captain Jon and his wife were super friendly and made us feel so welcome. Their boat is super nice and clean and we were able to bring our own food on which was nice. Captain Jon made sure we had a blast. We enjoyed every minute and the memories will last forever. Riding on the tube was sooooo much fun! This excursion exceeded our expectations. This amazzing trip was our highlight of our stay in Virginia Beach! Captain Jon was an amazing captain and instructor. We had always wanted to learn how to waterski and we finally had the ability to! Captain Jon patiently coached us even though we had no idea what we were doing! We also had a blast tubing and had competitions who could stay on for longer. Captain Jon made it quite adventurous with turns and speed- it was awesome! All in all, its a 10/10 that you all must try!!!

John was the best! We wanted a boat excursion and it was everything we expected and more. We cruised around the bay for a little while, tried to wakeboard (with Johns guidance and he was super patient since it was the first time for a few of us), saw some dolphins, and ended up tubing as we headed back. It was a quick 3 hour adventure and would highly recommend for any family.

Staff is really good and friendly. If you are not pro at watersports you might not be able to enjoy completely but will definitely have fun doing the tubing activity. Boat ride is nice and you get to see good views!

Very happy with our experience. John was a great captain, and taught all of us to wakeboard on our trip. We came as a 4 person group and we had enough time for all of us to go tubing, and with the help of Johns instructions, all of us were able to wakeboard. He’s also kind enough to let you blast your own music. 10/10 I would do this again

What a fun time! Captain Jon was absolutely awesome! My kids had never gone tubing or waterskiing before and he was really patient with them during waterskiing instruction and made the tubing super fun and exhilarating for them, while keeping them safe at the same time. We had such a great time that before we left the marina, we booked another day with him during our vacation to Virginia Beach.

Captain Jon was fantastic! We went out for 3 hours of water sports and a short cruise on the Chesapeake on Friday afternoon. We had such a good time that we booked a Sunday evening cruise - we saw hundreds of dolphins. They played nearby the boat while we just hung out and watched. The picture is just one little pod. A great Captain and great memories.

Our first time with jetski. Even tho it’s not my thing at all but my friends had a great time.All staffs are cool. Troy and Brandon were really sweet and be patient with me outthere. We came from out of town and the day we scheduled it was supposed to storm. They called us asking if we would like to reschedule for the next day and we very accommodating for us. We did jetskis, tubbing, and wakeboarding. Hospitality was beyond measurable. Such an amazing staff and owner. Got to play our own music on the boat and had just the best experience. Phenomenal time out on the bay with Virginia Beach Watersports. The location couldn’t be better. The boat and equipment were all new and high quality. Best of all, they did a great job keeping the entire family entertained. Had so much fun tubing, we never got to wakeboarding or water skiing. No regrets at all though. Just gives us another reason to come back. You won’t regret it!

Now granted, the times of Covid I’m sure had played a part in this. However we came to VA Beach for vacation, drove half an hour for jet skis. Showed up at a run down Motel 8 only to find another family waiting for the same thing that was cancelled without any prior knowledge. Not only was there no prior notice of cancellation, but the location where we were to meet was very sketchy and not ideal for a professional business.

This was definitely the highlight of the summer for my son. Captain Jon developed an easy rapport with both him and his cousin. They had a fantastic time tubing. And when we encountered some dolphins, Jon spotted them immediately and persuaded them to join in the fun for a bit. It made for a memorable and positive experience. I would absolutely recommend it!

Captain John was fantastic!!! We would leave more than 5 stars if possible! This was our first time in VA Beach and we can’t wait to come back! The experience was perfect for the whole family. We brought a 2 yr old and an 8 yr old and both had a blast. The boat was beautiful, and the captain (and owner) was engaging, kind, and FUN! He spotted some dolphins and even turned around so we could get photos. He was constantly checking on our needs and was very responsive to any of our requests (swimming, tubing, music, etc). Both kids (and all adults) loved the swimming/ tubing and truly cannot say enough positive things. We cannot wait to visit again and would HIGHLY recommend to anyone for all ages!! THANK YOU!! :)
