Chester arrived ahead of schedule and was able to replace and repair the needed components for both my pool and spa. Best yet, he had the parts already on the truck, so knocked the whole project out in 2 hours! Great guy, very helpful, and quick to resolve our pool and spa issues! Highly recommended and will definitely call him again if we have an issue again!

Normally, I am able to fix just about anything around the house, but 220V and water is not my thing. Chester with A1 Spa and Pool Repair diagnosed my hot tubs issues very quickly and actually had a complete spa pack (heater, control board and topside control panel) on his truck that fit our model. He spent quite a bit of time making sure the install was correct and explained how the new setup worked. The price was reasonable and I was very happy with their service. Chester did an awesome job fixing & correcting the issues (leaks, low pressure, heat up & down, etc.) with our hot tub which had been down for a while. He was very professional and a subject matter expert/teacher. This hot tub is major in our lives, for one it soothes my wife’s aches & issues do to rheumatoid arthritis. I called Chester about my whirlpool tub water pump not working and he explained that he would order an exact replacement. Since I was about 15 minutes outside his service area, I would just pay him for the pump and install it myself which was fine with me. He sent me a pump which was not even close the orginal pump, even though I had sent him several pictures and model numbers. I called to explain the pump wouldn’t fit and I would pay him to come install it if he could make it work. He declined and said I could return it but he was keeping the $25 shipping cost. So now I’m left for having to pay for his mistakes. Thanks Chester.

A1 was referred by East Coast Leisure (where I get my spa and pool supplies.) I have a 20 year old Thermospa hot tub that was a hot mess. Havent been able to use it for over 5 years. Chester (A1 owner) diagnosed the problem, fixed multiple leaks, replaced many of the jets that were broken, fixed the heating element, replaced fuses, etc... (essentially brought it back to life!). It works great now. If you have ANY hot tub/spa issues, Chester is an absolute magician. Hes extremely busy because hes a one man show, so it may take some time for him to get you scheduled... but thats because he does all the work himself. So no worries about getting someone doing the repairs whos not qualified. Lastly - in addition to be extremely professional, hes reasonably priced. Cant beat it. Way cheaper than buying a new hot tub.

A1 Spa and Pool came out to look at the hot tub and explain our error codes. We found that one of the motors was not working in low speed and it was replaced right on the spot. He had what was needed right on the truck when he arrived. Very reasonable and fair pricing. I also inquired about a spa cover while he was here. He was also able to order and deliver the cover in just a week at half the price I was quoted by the company that I purchased the hot tub from. He installed the cover for me and made sure that he cleaned up behind himself (including the yard debris that fell into the hot tub)! I am very satisfied with this company!

Chester came to my house after I called for him to fix my hot tub. He tried troubleshooting the most common reasons it goes out but then when he realized it wasnt that he made the appointment to come he showed up ON TIME, was PROFESSIONAL, and had the KNOWLEDGE and had PARTS ON HAND to fix it the same day. He had my hot tub running within 30 minutes. I went out to see the hots of the following day and there was still something from I called him and he was out that same afternoon and it again was fix. I would definitely call A14 and spa again when I have another issue come up.

Sounds like he is a competent repairman, so I called on two occasions to schedule service appointments. Both times he did not show up at the scheduled time or communicate with me to let me know that he could not make it.

Chester sold me a new motor a new cover, the hot tub has yet to be functional since. 8 months later, now he dont return calls or text ???Hot tub has leaked ever since he worked on it. NOT a happy customer.And yes he has been paid in full about 1,300 to 1,400.00. ive lost count.Take your chances people !
