The pool has been closed due to maintenance and the website isnt updated regularly. You can try calling to see if and when the pool will ever re-open, but no one will answer or youll get a busy tone. The gym doesnt have AC in some of the spaces. The showers and locker rooms are trash. They are definitely some of the worst MWR facilities that Ive experienced as an AD sailor. It doesnt seem like they have the resources or staffing to support the fitness and well-being of the marines and sailors in the area.

Gym is nice, but hours are awful! Closed on weekends and closes at 6 pm! Would be nice if we could get the hours extended.

The gym is located inside the NEX. Parking is scarce. Once inside, the entrance is clearly labeled but you still might miss it. They have towel service, but these towels dont wrap around the waist for showers so I recommend bringing your own towel. Cardio room has everything you need. Weight room is always packed. Come with a plan. Basketball court has six baskets. Mens locker room is upstairs. Functional fitness area is not at all functional.

Does anyone work here ? I have called all the numbers on the actual website and the ones provided on Google. The number is always busy and the official desk personnel at the other number never picks up or calls back .

They have a lot of great equipment(basketball court is closed till Jan. 1st) and hours are still fairly good. Open from Mon-Fri 0600-1800. Closed on weekends right now.

Crowded in the morning from 0630-0745, but not bad at all if you get started when it opens at 0500. Only one squat rack, which is bad, but doable for anything else you need to do; suitable free option (with base access) than other member gyms in the area, but may be tight at times.Changing review from 3 starts to 2. The above still applies, but frequenting here as base staff for the past two years, I rarely experience hot water in the showers and the locker room in general isnt a great experience; to quantify, theres frequent mold in the summer time (while I acknowledge the area gets humid) and theres been standing water in the showers for a couple weeks now. Understand this could be a budgeting issue, but that doesnt change my opinion.

Overall a nice and clean gym. Doesnt get super crowded after work and as long as youre not a tool Ive never met anyone who wont let you work in with them. A wide array of free weight, 10-125. 2 barbell benches not including one incline and one decline. 1 squat rack and 2 spare bars for some deads or rows. Only qualm is that they non-gym type music pretty loud.

No complaints here, they have everything you can possibly need for fitness. Towels are readily available and it usually isnt too crowded most of the day.

This gym has improved so much throughout the past year. There has been a lot of different upgrades throughout the gym and it has been made a difference. The staff is always nice and polite when I go in and its also a great if you want to run a couple games of basketball. There is always some type of activity going on.

Vastly improved since I was here last. Decent sized weight room with a separate cardio room. But still somewhat limited. Only one squat rack. Still, good enough to get a workout in and its free so Ill take it.

Not the best gym youll ever use, but not bad for an old gym that has had a few updates. The staff has always been helpful and friendly. Not normally too busy and has a fairly decent selection of cardio and weight machines, with free weights available for use as well. The basketball court is rather dated and could use some updating, but it still works well for a quick pick-up game and just shooting around. The available racquetball courts, cycling room, and trx room also add options for varying up your workout. Multiple classes are offered and you can schedule with the managers for a specific class for your own group. On site locker rooms with showers need some updating and repairs, but will suffice for what theyre needed for. Overall, not a terrible gym, but no where near the best either.
