Had a great time on the water with our pontoon boat from Bay Venture. The online reservation process was simple and easy to navigate. We arrived a half hour before our scheduled departure and TJ and team were ready and waiting. Went through some paperwork, waterway navigation tips, boat safety and we were on our way. The boat was clean and in great shape.We spent time on the beach, had fun on the tube, had a great lunch at Chicks and then headed back! It was a full day and everyone enjoyed the fun!!If you just want to enjoy a day on the water let Bay Venture handle everything and just have fun! Can’t wait to do it again!!!

Had a wonderful time renting a pontoon boat from Bay Venture. The process was wonderful and streamlined from beginning to end. Compared to other boat rental venues Ive used in the past, I thought the pricing was incredibly fair (loved that it included gas and didnt need to fill up at the end of the day) and the owner provided great training and easy ways to get in contact during the day if we needed anything. The boat was in perfect condition (brand new!) and ran great. We had a blast!

I rented a Pontoon Boat for my daughters birthday for a Sunday, the weather forecast was not in our favor so I reached out to see if I could move my reservation to Monday. Of course taking into consideration that they might not have a boat available. They were able to move my reservation to the next day!!!!The weather was perfect, and the surprise for my daughter was priceless. It was the best day on the water on an amazing boat at that.. The day could not have been more perfect. Of course none of this could have happened without Bay Venture being so accommodating and providing great customer service. Im already trying to plan our next day on the pontoon boat.

My family and I always love renting boats from TJ and his dad! They are great guys with GREAT party pontoon boats. We do this every year (for at least 5 years) and several times per summer! We always go for at least the 6 hour rental - and even then the family never wants it to end!!

Such a great experience! I went with a group of 8 other girls for my bachelorette. The owners were so helpful explaining everything to make sure we were safe. On our way home we took a wrong turn so we immediately called the owner and he was able to locate us on his GPS and get us turning back and home on time! Boat was in great shape! Good speakers/radio with bluetooth, not carpeted floor so you don’t have to worry about spills! Fit 10 adults and 2 coolers perfectly. They also made it super easy to navigate with maps of shallow areas and such. 10/10 would recommend!

We had a great time on the water in the pontoon boat we rented. The briefing beforehand takes the full 30 minutes and we felt we understood everything. We ended up taking a wrong turn and they called us and talked us through where we needed to go before we got into any trouble. Great experience and we will rent from here again!

The pontoons were very well maintained and in perfect condition. The staff was friendly and made sure that we know all the important information about handling it before we could get into it. The circuit/route which we are supposed to take is pleasant and fun. The pontoon is decently easy to operate. The onboard manual provided by them is comprehensive and helps in figuring out the rules and operating it safely. We had an amazing experience!

Just got back from a fantastic day on the pontoon boats. Top notch outfit! Very informative on the operation down to the key points of interest to check out on our voyage. (This coming from several boat owners that were with us.) Sent our adult kids out on one boat and us on the other. We had an awesome time fishing, docking for lunch and tubing. If you are renting pontoon boats in the Virginia Beach area, this is the place you want to go!

By far the absolute BEST experience with renting a pontoon boat! The boat was in perfect condition with a depth finder so we never had to worry about getting stuck. They dont just hand you a map of where you can go and send you on your way. There is a detailed binder with pictures so you never have to guess. We also did the tubing which was quite the experience for all of us. Would definitely rent from them again if we are in the area.

I was in town visiting family, and it happened to be my girlfriends birthday, so a pontoon rental sounded like a great way to spend the day. TJ was super knowledgeable about the boat and the ins and outs of the waterways, so I felt extremely prepared once we actually set off. From start to finish Terry and TJ were amazing, pretty funny too. Very clean boat, basically like new. They loaded and unloaded our coolers. Also, gave good tips on where to visit while out in the water. We had two boats to accommodate our large group, money well spent for a day out in the bays.

Had the best time, the boat was great. Not a lot of boating experience but there is a great orientation binder with annotated photos of the navigation points that goes with you on the boat. We have already booked our next trip.2021 Update: Third outing with them. Did the 6 hour and wished we had more time. Grandkids in town, and they loved the tubing. As with previous two times, the operators are very friendly and helpful.

Great Service, If I could give them 10 stars I would. We got in due to a cancellation . We went with Bay Venture because of their reviews, and we were not led a stray .They know everything about the local waterways and they make sure you do to, safety is a top priority . We were told where we could fish,where we could go tubing,where we could eat on the water/dockside,where we could find a rope swing and a quite beach to swim at. We hit all the sites, did some fishing, some tubing, got lunch at the Dockside, it was the highlight of our trip.Their fleet is band new and all the boats are mint condition Bentleys. Highly recommend this place for a fun time on the water.

Originally booked on a Tuesday, for a Friday 6 hr rental. Unfortunately, TJ calls me Thursday evening, letting me know the one we had rented was having issues, and had to cancel us. Big bummer for our family group of 12. He offered $100 towards our next rental, and to let us know of any cancellations. Well Saturday comes, and he tells us a group wants to cancel on Sunday, so off we went. Him and his dad, Terry, were great. Welcomed us as we entered the lot, went over everything, and gave us a hand with it all. We had a great time out there (just TONS of jellys), and boats are in great shape. Clean, no issues. Well definitely be renting again! Oh, we also rented the tube (well worth it, if you like to have fun, or with kids).

Reliable boats, Staff was an absolute pleasure to work with, both on the phone and in the office. Theyll help you out if you get lost, which is pretty tough if you can read a map. If youre looking to explore the innner waterways and dont own your own boat, this is the way to go. I will definitely be using their services again and look forward to doing it again soon. Keep in mind that if you want to tube, you need at least three people going. Easy to pull up to the restaurants or you can bring your own cooler and eats. Either way, as long as its a nice day, youll have a great trip.
