Please stay away. Kia - Lynnhaven held my vehicle for almost 6 months on a simple overheat issue that shouldve taken less than a couple days to fix. They were rude, blatant liars, unhelpful, unapologetic, and non-empathetic. They then returned it to me filthy and physically damaged; with no talks about making it right in any way.Theres too much that happened in the last 6 months to write on here, but here are the highlights - Kia told me the parts were on back order, then I found the parts myself weeks later and had to provide Kia with the ordering information (youd think theyd be able to find the information themselves). Then they destroyed my engine with their poor work practices, and the cycle repeated itself. I had to find the ordering information myself after months of being told it was unavailable. Turns out it was available the whole time. They just didnt have the correct part number.Again, they kept my vehicle for about 6 months. Much of this time was spent in a rental vehicle and hotel (since I was originally visiting for 3 months) which I paid out of pocket with no offers to reimburse me from Kia while my vehicle sits idly by. Kia did nothing to expedite the process.Please see the pictures of the condition Kia returned my vehicle in. Greasy hand prints everywhere, including the back seat (which they had no business being in) and a footprint on the back door panel (as if they were laying down or napping in my vehicle). Disgusting. Not to mention the physical damage and stolen parts. The radiator cap that was returned to me was not the pressure bleeding radiator cap I had originally, and my two front floor mats are missing. The front and rear bumper suffered from tooling damage and somehow the rear bumper now has a sizeable dent. Same with the front left wheel. Looks like tooling damage.Sorry for the lengthy review. Please stay away from Kia. At the very least, stay away from Kia Lynnhaven. Ive spoken to friends and read many forums after my experience. Turns out this is not an uncommon theme. Stick to a more dependable brand.**Update** About 2 weeks has passed and Ive been getting an intermittent check engine light. I finally got the opportunity to pull the code, and its throttle related. Likely a faulty installation. More money out of my pocket... Theres no chance of me going back to the dealership to have them potentially break, steal, or lose something else.If anyone reading this knows of an attorney who specializes in these cases, Im looking and interested. Please leave the info on this post. Itll probably help some others who have had issues with this dealership as well. Thanks in advance.
Took my car in for an oil change. Sonny was my Customer Service Rep. He was so nice, professional and personable. I know very little about cars and he took the time to explain my issue they identified. Definitely would go back again!

If youre like me and dont particularly enjoy taking your car in-- only to wonder the entire time what news lies ahead (anxiety much?)-- RT does a good job of taking the sting out of the dreaded mechanic experience. He does a great job of liaising between me (the customer) and mechanics. His communication and knowledge always puts me at ease and this is HUGE as this is the foundation of building trust.There are a lot of options out there for consumers. KIAs service department alone has won me over as a repeat customer. I know when I drop my car off I am in good hands and this is how I like to do business.Ive been with them for 8 years and when it comes time to upgrade, this is where Ill make my purchase. Well done!
Absolutely garbage service, and gave me a DANGEROUS vehicle back that my kids ride in 😡It took 5 days and four different people before somebody took the time to research the part needed to repair a fuel leak AFTER I left the vehicle with them.THEN, the technician who serviced my brakes while it was in the shop didn’t take the time to torque the lug nuts. Several days later the car starts shaking and wobbling WITH MY KIDS IN THE CAR. After jacking it, we discovered the nuts had backed off so much that the tires could be moved in any direction by hand. If you want an easy lawsuit, this is the place for you. If you want any kind of quality service, GO ANYWHERE ELSE. What a sham.
RT Ives in the service department was a huge help for us today. I called to explain that I have to go.out of town for work next week and that our car is less than 500 miles from the do date for an oil change. Since I am taking the car it would have been well over the recommended mileage by the time I got back. He was very understanding and was able to fit us into the already full schedule before I have to leave. Thanks RT!!
This was an awesome experience! Sharon Tull has great customer service. I want to specifically work with her in the future. The process was very simple! She needs a raise! Ill definitely recommend her to anyone in need of buying a vehicle.
I have nothing bad to say regarding the service that I received this past weekend or any other time that Ive had my car at Lynnhaven Southern Kia. Wes (Service Specialist) and friends :) are helpful, polite, and honest. Its always or at least it can be tricky as a woman when having your car serviced, but Wes has never made me feel that I was being taken advantage of. I was also very happy that they valued my time. I was in and out in 1.5 hours.
The service department is the slowest place I have ever been. A simple oil change took them 8 hours to complete even with a scheduled an appointment. Good thing I don’t need a new car, at that rate it would take them years to sell it to me.
Car shopping lately has not been fun and other dealerships customer service skills were lacking. I came here today because they seemed to have the most inventory in the area. I’m so glad I did ! Brad was so nice and went ABOVE & BEYOND today for me. The sales manager whom I forgot his name, I’m sorry. He came up introduced himself and he was so nice and polite and was able to get me where I needed to be ! They were polite, kind and very fast! I am so glad I came here ! Thank y’all again !!!
If I remember correctly I think her name was Essence she was the one that was helping me either way she had great customer service and was very friendly. I ended up not getting a car but I will definitely be going back once My boyfriend and I have saved enough. 10/10 customer service, will definitely be recommending it to my friends.
I bought my car here new and have been bringing back for service ever since. They are always courteous, professional and go above and beyond. R.T. was able to accommodate my last minute requests and did it with a smile.
R. T. Ives was my service coordinator and I received excellent help from him. My service was completed in a timely manner and everything was done with no issues. We have bought two Buick’s and leased a KIA from Southern and have been completely satisfied with the people we’ve dealt with and the service we’ve received.

Brad White hooked me up! We got a Kia Sorento and made the process as easy as could be. There were moments that we had to wait, but in the meantime he met us on our level and we talked about skiing and food (things we love) that made the time go by very quickly. Between Cornelius who got us started and took us on the test drive, to Carl making sure everything was carried through smoothly, the team is overall great. Austin Bosley, gave me just that... made me see that if that truck had everything besides the color... then whats the problem... he went got a tag,we test drove it, and I was more in love than I was at first,besides the color... needless to say we kept talking No pressure, and I ended up buying that truck, that night... they worked to not let me leave there without that truck... thanks so much to Austin for doing such a good job,and he followed my wishes to the letter....
I am not a customer here...not will I be. My mother purchased a vehicle. Between issues with the vehicle.. having to wait, for a long time, for parts to arrive... had to turn around and take it back... then had to wait for parts(different issue). But the best part of all this is the customer service in the service department. (I hope you can feel the sarcasm oooz from customer service). I dont think the man knows what polite or customer service voice is. Hes short and condescending. A true boomer who acts like it. Great way to get and keep customers. I will never buy a vehicle from here.

Dont bother making a service appointment on their website. It apparently doesnt work, they know it doesnt work, and they continue to leave it up. Took time off work during a very busy week, drove all the way over here only to find out they have no record of my appointment despite me having received an emailed confirmation. I was probably a little short with the service reps, which I am sorry about. Taking time off work for no reason is a big deal though... but thats not their fault.
Wesley K. was so friendly and very helpful. I made a service appointment for my vehicle several days in advance, but when I arrived my appointment couldnt be found. Wesley took care of the problem right away, and I was able to still have my vehicle serviced as planned!

My 20 y/o daughter called to tell me that RT(service advisor) said her transmission was bad in her 2015 Kia. I didnt believe him, and thought they were taking advantage of her. I called the shop and acted like a complete a$$. Turned out that RT and the service department replaced the transmission and fixed the car for under $100. They took care of my daughter and I was wrong about them. If every repair shop was this honest, non of us would automatically think that mechanics are trying to take advantage. I am a grown man though, and I can admit when I was wrong, and I was. RT and the service department at Southern Lynnhaven took care of my daughter. I live in Missouri and my little girl (20) is a new Sailor in the US Navy. They were honest, fair, and I completely misjudged them. Thank You to all of the Moms and Dads who work in that shop. You deserve a medal, and certainly didnt deserve what I said to you all. Sorry, and Thank You for your honesty.

I was having problems with my AC. I had a few technicians look at it. Brett Webler came and talked with me to tell me exactly what was needed to fix. He had grade A customer service and they now have a customer for life.

I needed to have my 2016 Sorento diagnosed and serviced for a noise when it first starts up. The service department was incredibly efficient. I had a scheduled drop-off and the check in was seamless! It was a 7:30 am drop-off and I was out the door by 7:35! Wes called me layer that morning with the news of what was wrong. They actually discovered a secondary problem that was significant. Unfortunately, the milage was beyond the standard warranty. However, I had an extended warranty through the used car dealership where I purchased the car. Wes went above and beyond to get coverage approval! I can say, without reservation, Wes has provided the customer service I have ever received from a car dealer service department!
