Good place for oil change. Cant say about the rest cuz thats all I needed but they handle that much well enough.

Don has worked on many of my vehicles over many years. He has been honest and does good work. I have never had any issues with the pricing or the service. Don just finished with my BMW and its no longer leaking anything, new valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, coolant hose replaced, new plugs, coil overs et al. For MUCH MUCH less than the local BMW dealership and I know the work was done the RIGHT way. You want an honest mechanic this is the place. Locally owned and hes a good guy.

Lost the AC in our vehicle on the way from NJ to VA Beach. Found Don’s online. He accommodated me immediately. Took me to the side of the vehicle to take a look at the problem to ensure I understood the issue. Called three parts places to get the best price on the part. Vehicle was done the same day and the AC has never been colder.

I would highly recommend Dons Service Center  to anyone. Don was able to squeeze me in at a moments notice and they do great work at a very fair price. You know when you take your car to Dons Service Center that he is not just going to tell you there are a bunch of things that need to be fixed just to make money. Don gives you an honest evaluation and he doesnt try to up sell you. If you need your car repaired and you don’t want to be taken advantage of at the dealer, this is the place.

As my family and I were leaving the beach to head back home our vehicle started turning off. We went to Sullivans but they told us it would take them a few days to even look at the SUV. My husband walked into Dons and he offered to check it out right then. We did have to stay an extra night only because it was late and they couldnt get a part until early morning but they did everything they could to help us out and get us home. I was very thankful to have come across Dons. Just taking the time and looking at the vehicle that day was amazing! Thank you!

Our car blew an exhaust manifold and cylinder while in Virginia Beach for Spring Break. We were stranded and truly at the mercy of whoever we could find to service the car. I was extremely leery of Dons because of the two bad ratings he had received here on Google+ but was without options because of distance from our hotel and timing. Dons Service Center fixed everything in one day and charged half what other mechanics bid us. This was a great blessing. Thank you, Dons Service Center!

Had 2 busted break lines in parking lot of Surfbreak. Coasted in and couple hours later back in action. Fast friendly service. Glad you guys were there.

Took my car took get estimate on a fairly minor exhaust job. Charged me 35 to look at it, then gave me a 1,200 dollar estimate for work. I honestly was kind of shocked. Ive worked on cars on and off my whole life. Not by any means an expert, but have knowledge of what it takes to repair most things on a car. So i took it down the street to Oceana Muffler and Brakes. Owner came out, layed in the parking lot to take a look. Long story short...... Work was done while i waited, cost?? 250 dollars. Far cry from 1,200. I would not send my worst enemy to this crook....

This guy screwed up my car! He claims to be ase master mechanic, but after he screwed up my car I called the ASE to verify. They said he did not hold any certifications! What a fraud. Find out for yourself, just ask him to show you his certificates. Hell just tell you he doesnt have to, like he told me, or that he lost them, or possibly some other lame excuse. Bottom line if your looking for a good mechanic, look elsewhere!

Our car blew a headgasket while on vacation so we got estaments from the other car repair shop across from Dons service center (sullivans) they wanted to charge me twice as much as Dons, so needless to say Don fixed our car and we finished our vacation and the car is running stronger than ever no thanks to over priced wallet gouging Sullivans! !!

Great work, fast service

This establishment is connected to Sullivans family auto and they share a parking lot. I pulled in and parked in the first spot I saw available. The parking spot was directly infront of Sullivans auto. I took my three year old daughter out of the car and started making my way to Sullivans when I noticed a man staring me down to see where I was going. When he saw I wasnt going to his establishment he asked me to move my car because that was the last spot open infront of his place. There were several spots open in the parking lot. I wasnt about to put my daughter back in her seat and move it three spots over! I couldnt help but feel attacked because I chose a different place to take my car. I told them I would after I spoke with Sullivans. I told Sullivans about the incident and they said dont worry about it we will move your car. They were extremely friendly and made me feel very welcome. When I went to my car to grab a few items I saw the same man watching me and waiting for me to move my car and I let them know that Sullivans would be moving it. I got a nasty reply of, yeah when they are good and ready!! There were still several spots available. I felt very uncomfortable appogized and suggested that they put up a sign. It blows my mind how a grown man could harrass a mother and her toddler over a parking spot that they share with every other establishment in that vicinity. I highly suggest everyone take their business to Sullivans and suggest dons auto to be a bit more friendly and perhaps they would get more business.

Really nice and honest guy! Hes fixed my exhaust, done oil changes, changed belts, rotated tires, on my Hyundai.

Dons service center is a rip off shop. BEWARE!! he is not ASE certified but he claims to be. He never has any work in his shop because of the way he treats people (poorly) he over charges everything that he does and he will mislead you telling you that your car is broke real bad but it really isnt. i would never take anything to Dons service center in Virginia Beach.
