We have only toured Birdneck Village Apartments, but I have to say the customer service has been wonderful. We worked with a women named Jasime, and she was able to address all of our questions which I have alot. There were a few things she was unsure of but she did take the time to ask and get a CORRECT answer instead of making something up. The property seems clean and kept up.The only downside for us, from this apartment complex is the price which I was informed does change periodically and may go down. If I was sure we could cover the rent we would be putting in an application right away.If you are comfortable with the rent I would recommend.

I lived at Birdneck Village for over 2 years. I loved every minute there. The apartment was renovated and beautiful. Maintenance was very responsive the few times I had an occasion to call. I never had any item not addressed immediately. Management are so friendly and easy to reach. They always had ready answers. Most impressive was every member of the management team remembered my name and where I lived without my reminding them. Edna is great. Cindy is great. Diane is great. Rental rates are very reasonable and best of all, it’s only five blocks from the beach! I went to the beach every day the first year I lived there. I have recommended Birdneck Village to friends ever since I lived there and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting a great place to live at the beach!

Charged me hundreds of dollars in carpet replacement upon move out due to alleged pet damage even though my carpet was in great condition—no pet accidents during my tenancy, no fraying or visible stains. A real shame to get charged fees outside of the security deposit on move out simply for having a pet.

The landscaping looks awesome as does the new clubhouse and pool. Love how close you are to the beach!

Great place to live! I would give the staff more than 5 stars if Google made more stars, they are incredible!! Maintenance is very timely and has emergency maintenance around the clock! Even when its not technically an emergency. Front office is fantastic with customers very friendly, helpful, and empathetic. Impressed they always remembered my name, everyone did! Cindy is friggin awesome, Diane, Edna, they all always impressed me. They will go above and beyond to help you! I loved living there, dog friendly!!! They do holiday events!! BEST POOL, great little gym, nice grills, near shopping centers like Hiltop and the oceanfront is a 5 minute bike ride. If you want it all in one package this is the place to be! Will be recommending it for everyone I know whos looking!

I lived there for two years right before I moved out of state and loved every single minute of it. Theres a couple of bugs I can live without but the staff and the area is so beautiful you can wake up and go to the beach every morning it is perfect if you can live here dont pass it up

I lived at the complex for 7 years and I found it to be a great place to live. Center to everything I needed, whether it be the beach, restaurants, entertainment, groceries, the interstate, you name it, awesome location. The maintenance staff was great, anytime I need anything they were right there. As far as the office they were always helpful and Cindy in particular always knew my name and made you feel welcome. I highly recommend this apartment complex.

I absolutely love the staff here. They are so friendly and personable. They know all their tenants by name, which amazed me. Whenever we needed work done in the apartment they were on it. Honestly, I wish I never left.

Lived here for three years and no complaints. Ladies at the office do their job very well and actually care! The maintenance staff are very friendly and go above and beyond to make sure one is comfortable and the job gets done!

Was recently apartment shopping to downsize from our last town home and was referred here by a family member. I was pregnant at the time and my due date was a day apart from my move in date but they made it very convenient and stress free. The units are very clean and well lit at night. Cindy in the office is very helpful and sweet. I would highly recommend.

I moved here from Texas almost 3 years ago. All of the ladies in the office are absolutely wonderful. I have never had any issues while living here and happily renewed my lease today. The professionalism from these ladies made it an easy decision to renew my lease. I will recommend Birdneck Village apartments to anyone who is looking.

This is a wonderful community which is very close to the beach! The location absolutely CANNOT be beat! The apartments are very spacious and reasonably priced for all that you get. There is also a gorgeous pool, fitness center, and playground. They allow large dogs and have plenty of space for walking them. The office staff and the maintenance team are top-notch and work very hard to make this community a wonderful place to live. I would recommend Birdneck Village to anyone!!!

Moved in May 2014. We love the apartment and grounds are kept up extremely well. When our disposal didnt work a few weeks ago, one call to maintenance with in 10 minutes they were over to fix it. Love how close to the beach we are. Biking and walking trails within a couple blocks. Great location for almost anything you want. Grocery stores you have 5 to choose from extremely close you could ride your bike to them if you wanted. Kitchen on small side but ample storage for our 2 bedrooms which we feel are very large even in the master a walk in closet. Staff is wonderful too. Very pleased with our experience moving from Florida from a house into a 2 bedroom apartment we really thought would be tough for us. Its been a pleasure and a breeze.

Dont Do It! Everything was fine until I moved out. I lived here for two years before I downgraded to a smaller unit. I cover all my carpets with area rugs an require everyone to take their shoes off at the front and ALWAYS return units better than I get them (I own a cleaning company, so we clean), for some reason, they still charge for carpet cleaning. I didnt complain. They moved me to a smaller unit, as request, but the carpet was gross. Still, I took care of my unit and now a year later I am moving out of state. After three years a tenant and not a single late payment, They are trying to charge me for carpets already damaged when I moved in. They are even claiming I had a pet that peed on the carpet. There has never been a single animal in that apartment since I have lived there. It must mean either they charge for cleaning but dont clean OR they lie about damages they find to get more money. On top of all of this, they are threatening to send what I owe to collections when I only moved out one week ago, and no written list of charges has been received. After being a good tenant with no complaints and not causing any problems, In the end, Im just being scammed.

I spent 1 year here and only have one complaint which others have mentioned before about the walls being thin. However, Cindy and staff are amazing. Maintence requests were usually fulfilled the same day or day after.I would recommend this apartment complex to my friends.

The office staff are very kind and friendly. Maintenance requests are completed much quicker than any other place I’ve lived. The units are modern and renovated. The pool and gym are always clean. My only complaint is the walls being paper thin. Neighbor’s conversations can be heard clearly through the walls and floors. Some of the residents aren’t as mindful as others when it comes to making noise.

I absolutely love living in a Birdneck Village. It is like a family here. The staff and everyone is amazing. Would stay here and nowhere else. Its close to the beach and the environment is just awesome! Definitely a great place to raise my boys! We love it here!!!! Thank you Birdneck family!!!

I had a great stay here. My only issue was that maintenance just uses the master key to come into your apartment whenever they please in the event I do not answer the door. I was working overnights and I just had a random maintenance person barge in all the time. The parking in the area I was at was bare to none, first come first serve I guess. The remodeling kept me awake most of the time making it hard to sleep ever. I actually got a nail in my tire cause of debris that was carelessly dropped. Rather than that, the neighbors are nice. The staff in the office are really friendly and easy to work with.

The apartments have all recently been remodeled with big beautiful floor to ceiling windows and a big soaker tub. The grounds are nicely kept and the pool is very nice. I love that you can put a washer and dryer in your unit. The staff are all helpful as friendly. I would highly recommend living here.

We moved in to a wonderful apartment. We love the apartment and it has felt like home from day one. The office manager assured me that we would love our new place. I honestly was not having that thought. I WAS WRONG. The facility is nice and very well maintained. Housekeeping cleans the landings. The maintenance crew picks up trash every morning. The pool is VERY well kept up. It doesnt smell or feel like your swimming in bleach like other places. The office addressed every one of my concerns and problems asap. The apartment we moved into had new carpet and an upgraded kitchen. The kitchen is small BUT they have all the counter space and cabinets they can fit in there. You get free water. The staff always have smiles and treat you like they are in your home. My family and I have made this place a HOME not house or apartment and we plan to be here for a while.

This place is amazing! Yes, you will hear noise from upstairs but it is an apartment...you hear noise when you live in a home too. The staff is super friendly and they keep the grounds around the apartments immaculate! They are constantly upgrading things like the stairwells and the tile in the entry ways--beautiful!Also, when something breaks, they come and fix it right away....very affordable too!The pool is every bit as wonderful as the picture too!

I have lived at Birdneck Village for 12 years. The location is excellent and the grounds are well maintained. The office staff has always been very responsive to any tenant issues. The same is true of the maintenance staff. Their response time to any problem is usually same day.The facility has a large pool as well as an exercise facility.I highly recommend Birdneck Village Apartments.Bill Hutchinson

Beautiful place to live. nice neighborhood, location is wonderful, apartment is spacious, nice and updated, right next to the beach and very budget friendly. love it here. the only issues we have had was our ac unit busted a couple of weeks ago, it took like a day or 2 to get fixed, im sure there was a lot of ac issues due to the beginning of summer. service was quick and well worth it, also our garbage disposal busted but the maintenance team came pretty quickly. they keep the grounds nice. we will be renewing.

I have lived at Birdneck Village for a year now. I have lived in 3 other apartment complexes in my lifetime and have never renewed a lease. This is my first time renewing. I am so excited to stay another year. The location is perfect, central to everything but still remains a quiet neighborhood. The updates to the apartments are amazing. I have also never lived in a complex that had decent management, much less an amazing management team. They have always made us feel apart of the community since the day we looked at the grounds. Every single experience with them has gone well. I am very proud as well as satisfied to live here. -BH

This experience living here could have been so much better if there wasnt a rude woman in the office named Donna. She lives at birdneck village and literally stalked us for the first 6 months of us living here... she claims that a resident complained about certain things when I know for a fact its always mostly her. We pay our rent on time every single month and arent even really home much! She just is on a power trip and should never be allowed to constantly stalk us. For example, we got a cat and never told them right away... the next day theres a letter on my door!!!! Of course she walks by with her two dogs every day. Then we got a dog.... within a week we got a letter for that too!!!! $400 dollars later after paying the pet fee and $50 a month!!!!! So we have a friend that lives in this neighborhood and found out that she has had two dogs living with her for the past two years and has never gotten a letter or fee. Of course Donna doesnt walk her dogs near our friends apartment! Complete harassment and really made our life a living hell constantly. This is just one example out of many many more.

Nice size apartments, Great location close to the Ocean Front, Maintenance Department is pretty good responding to trouble calls, they are working remodeling the exterior, new community center, nice size pool. Lots of noice coming from the construction, the person above me have kids running through the apartment all night past midnight. One time they were vacuum at three AM. I notified the lady at the front desk and she completed ignored me. I fell through some hardship and had some issues we been here for a year and three months and now we doing month to month and are being forced to move. Even tho everything is good now. Overall its good place good neighborly community. Would like to stay because the apartments are really comfortable and kids like it.

Awful, absolutely awful experience. My girlfriend and I needed to get a place quickly and settled on Birdneck Village. The apartments are lackluster, and the walls are paper thin. Every noise can be heard through the walls. Frequently I would hear my neighbor sneeze through our floor.The customer service is lacking, and it took multiple months for them to rectify the situation after we had multiple confrontations with a hostile neighbor. The office dragged their feet and attempted a mediation session with a neighbor who would scream foul language at my girlfriend and I.If you want to pay your rent online you must pay a $50 dollar processing fee. What for? Who is processing the payment other than me? Why would there be a $50 fee for me saving you a trip to the bank with my check. I would feel more satisfied being mugged for $50 a month. At least then I would have a story to tell. Instead I just got robbed by a bunch of old ladies in a office on 24th St.Finally, after moving out because my girlfriend and I bought a home I receive a bill for $150+ dollars to replace the carpets due to pet urine throughout the home. Never once did our cat relieve himself outside of the cat box. This place is run by a bunch of crooks who will attempt to squeeze every dollar they can out of you.Dont rent here, unless you like being extorted.

THIS IS A MUST READ!!!!!! RENT ONLY IF YOU WANT TO GO THROUGH WHAT WE WENT THROUGH!This place is lucky to get a three star review and the only reason it does is because of its location and the large walk in closet. Other than that, it is JUST OKAY at best. The pictures shown on their website is from the leasing office. They dont resemble what the apartments look like at all. The people in the leasing office seem nice but arent very helpful and give you the runaround whenever you bring up an issue. One issued we had was then they billed us an estimated bill for our utilities. It wasnt much money, but it was higher than normal due a higher charge for something we didnt use. We were hardly home and preferred our apartment to be cold at nigh when we were home, so we didnt use heat. They assumed our heat meter wasnt working so they estimated our heat usage and billed us. We confronted them about it and told us it wasnt up to them at the leasing office, that we had to contact the utilities company. They then told us that it wasnt on them either and that we needed to talk to the office. It was a complete runaround! We stayed here for 2 years a moved to get more space in a more updated condo for around the same amount of money. When we moved out we repainted the walls and cleaned up but they charged us to replace the carpet due to pet urine throughout. WE DONT OWN PETS NOR DID WE EVER HAVE ANYONE WITH PETS IN THE APARTMENT, yet they were adamant that we did. The leasing office just threw their hands up and said theres nothing they can do. I called East Coast Carpet Care which is who asses the carpet and they said they werent allowed to give me detailed info about the assessment, which is crazy because it me that has to pay to replace it because you say its bad. Not to mention this carpet was brand new when we moved in and is suppose to have a 5 year life span! I talked to the maintenance office and they gave me no answers, everyone just expects you to pay! The thing of it too is that the carpet company just asses the carpet for free! What do they get out of it if they just asses it and someone else replaces it? And they make people pay a large charge and everyone gets money out of the deal and you get left paying it up! NOT US! We called the property manager and talked to her and threatened to take them to court and after a week and fighting and calling everyday and investigating and after they said there was nothing they could do, they decided to drop the charge! WHAT A COINCIDENCE!!!! Dont rent here unless you wanna go through this BS! There are plenty of other places near the beach that I am sure is much better than this!

My wife and absolutely love living in this community, the grounds are well kept and the staff is awesome . No complaints at all ! We are so happy that we have finally found a place to call home !

Cindy & Edna are sweethearts. Donna on the other hand.....eff that broad! I dont know why she works there?? Yeah the rent is do on the 5th and it was the 6th of the month so yeah its my fault and I deserve to pay the late fee. Then Cindy was like If you can get it in before 12p no late charge its like 9AM now. So we were like alright! We get to the bank around 9:30ish and called the office to get the amount for the cashiers check and DONNA **ugh** picks up the phone and tells me they are going to charge me the late fee!!!! I told her what HER BOSS said, and shes like Thats not my problem, pay the rent with fees. Im updating the account now. I still got just the normal amount her boss Cindy said and waited until I saw Cindy. Gave it to her and she said theres no fee. Had I given it to Donnas behind I wouldve been out $330 more dollars!!!! Cant stand her. Other than that pretty chill spot. neighbors are nice, pool is amazing in the summer, nice gym, great location by the beach. Donnas the only reason why this is a 4 and not a 5. Giving this review a 3 because of her is giving her too much power and she dont deserve that!! Fire HER PLEASE!!!!!!!

It was a horrible experience there is maintainence people working every morning on top of us making really loud noises every morning for a month and its still going on. Theres never a way to get in contact with the office and they have people driving in the grass and instead of fixing the grass they put hay over it this place is horrible worst experience I have ever had living in a apartment complex

Best apartment weve ever lived in. If you are looking to bike and walk around this is the community for you. We loved the area. we felt safe and everyone is friendly! If you live here you can walk to everything at the oceanfront: The library, Farm Fresh, Harris teeter, restaurants, shops, fishing pier, mini golf, at the beach (less than 8 blocks away!). Just around the corner about two miles away you can get to a Walmart, Aldi, Pharmacy, Target, ect.You would be right in Old Beach Village! Trust me, its the best! When you walk to the beach, take 25th. You will be greeted with many homeowners who will wave at you and even some will stop to talk to you. If you have little ones, theres even a little park behind the middle school!At night in the summer there are street performers at the ocean front as well as concerts, art shows...and its all free!This is the best place to live for the money and the good times! With two children we had a blast: Bodyboarding, surfing, biking, walking to the store and library, singers and magicians on the street in the summer.Birdneck Village apartments has a workout center, huge pool, tennis courts, bike racks, storage, and the staff and management are awesome!Many days, we were greeted with friendly maintenance staff who would stop and take the time to chat for a few minutes. We got to know many by name because they were so kind!Candy runs the fix-it side and she is super nice and will take care of you!The whole time we were there, we only met 1 grumpy worker (everyone has a bad day sometimes though)Cindy runs the front office. She is the best manager we have ever dealt with. Shes quick to please and smart as a whip! Unlike other apartments, she treats you like the paying customer you are. She understands that customer satisfaction is key. She went above and beyond the call of duty to take care of any concerns we had.Also, in the front office you will be greeted with personable, professional ladies who make you feel very welcome. Your concerns will be their concerns. Edna is a doll and Donna is sweet!We would still be living there, but we transferred. Thankfully, Cindy made what is usually a stressful time a breeze!We are going to miss it there.If you are looking for a place to call home with all the conveniences and affordability, this is the only apartment community I would recommend. We LOVED it here. We only got into the car like once a week. Seriously. Go visit and walk around you will see. There are even eateries, coffee shops, gift shops, tackle shops, surf shop, ect. on the way down and around to Ocean Front Library. Park on 24th next to Birdneck Village Apartments, Walk down 24th cut left through the path by the school and walk up 25th. Then walk back and head towards the library and youll find more gems there too. Trust me, this is the place!

Very nice place to live office staff is super friendly there kid friendly they have a park in the community, the pool is really really nice awsome tennis courts really nice workout room the grounds are very well maintained the maintenance staff is just like the office staff sweet an very helpful and if you hve a problem they will be more then likely to fix it or explain anything u dont understand . Very great location close to the beach alot of stores nice schools very great place to live

The people here are very rude and disrespectful. They have ridiculous rules about guests, there’s never any parking. They need new management the ladies here are never any help! I would Not recommend living here!

This place doesnt even deserve a star. May as well not pay attention to the pictures of the apartments because they dont look anything like they do in their ads. Apartments smell like mold and old grandmas. THE PARKING LOT IS ONE WAY IN, in order to get out if the lot you have to back your car all the way out. Towed my girlfriends car within hours of being parked there because it didnt have a visitors pass. Youre not allowed to have your own grill, or else you get fined 10,000 dollars. No type of decoration is allowed on the balconies. If you want to use the pool or fitness area, you have to bring an activety card in order to do so. I could go on for days about this place. They take so much money from every tennant and dont use it to make the place better or new amenities. Dont live here.
