We had missed out intended flight to Culebra, in return we were asked if we wanted to go to Vieques. Upon arrival we discovered all of the companies on island were sold out for golf carts. We arrived to Scooters for Rent and Victor was beyond helpful! He got us a golf cart for the day and also drove us to the airport later in the day when we couldn’t get in touch with any taxis. Highly recommend!! Super friendly and affordable.
I really enjoyed the experience of driving the golf cart around Vieques. If you only have one day, Id reccommend a vehicle though. Vieques is pretty big for a golf cart. I did notice that our cart was not as fast as other peoples golf carts, and there were only two of us on it. I began to wonder if ours was old or in need of servicing. Anyway, it was a fun experience!

We rented 2 UTVS overnight while on Vieques. When we arrived, they only had one ready. He was able to get another, but the quality of this second machine was seriously lacking. We should have immediately returned it, however it wasnt until we drove our other one that we realized how bad this one was. Either way, he made the situation right when we returned the next day and did not charge us for gas. UTVS or golfcarts are definitely the way to go on Vieques, and honestly this company was easy to deal with. He answered his cell phone when we called. Got us in and out quickly and we thought the price was fair. We had a blast being able to go all over the island.
They cancelled my fully paid rental reservation one day before my arrival in Vieques. This left me scrambling to find another rental hours before my arrival. Theyre unreliable - go somewhere else.

Easy rental process. Helpful staff. We rented a golf cart, but I think Id prefer a vehicle with a little more speed/power on our next visit. This got us around, but was kind of janky at the same time.
Wonderful way to see the island! Our scooter was pretty beat up though but ran just fine. The lady that worked there did a very thorough job of marking all the defects so we wouldnt be charged later. Only giving 4 stars bc of the poor condition of the bike. Other than that it was a great experience!
Just returned from Vieques. I walked from the Seagate hotel to rent a golfcart. Giovani was very professional and offered me a UTV which was way more fun. A few days later I traded to a golfcart. Victor was very friendly and helpful. They were very relaxed and didnt try to upsell anything. It was an excellent experience. The UTV is must better for travelling on gravel and dirt roads. We thought you had to rent a jeep in Vieques but you dont. We were able to easily go to all the places we wanted and it was quite fun. If you can get a UTV get one they are significantly more fun. Enjoy your trip!

WARNING My credit card was charged for issues relating to the poor quality of their bikes. The sales person said a previous rider had fallen, which was evident when the wing mirror fell off in my hand. I protested the claim and they have continued to fraudulently charge for previous damage of the bike. Steer clear!

Some cool dudes work there. Just stop on by, dont bother calling. Its an easy walk from the ferry. We were in Vieques for a week and wanted a scooter for half and a cart for the other. Both managers took great care of us and didnt recharge our deposit. Dropped it off whenever there was rain and switched to a golf cart. Good prices and way cheaper than the crazy jeep places. Yes it was a little slower on the straightaways but there are like 2 of those on all of Vieques, who cares. Also we spent maybe 10 bucks on gasI think the bumper stickers say it all: whats the rush, you are already in Vieques!We will be back again next year, and they better still be there!

Proprietor was nice and friendly, and threw in a foam cooler when we realized that we needed to have cold drinks on the beaches. There were no kiosks or concession stands. Guess Im used to NJ boardwalks 😄. We didnt have reservations but were able to get a golf cart.

After reserving a UTV online a couple days in advance of our trip to Vieques we arrive to be told none were available. It is only one stars because there was still golf carts available which is fortunate since we would’ve been stuck walking if there wasn’t. If a business doesn’t honor its reservations then I highly suggest going someplace else.

We stopped in to check availability and got a golf cart for 24 hrs for $75. Never had any problems with the golf cart--very economical way to get around. We only spent around $8 to fill up before returning.
Great experience with these guys! Didnt have any rental showing up to the island on the ferry. Walked 10 minutes from the ferry port to the shop and rented a scooter for use overnight for $55. Our scooter ran perfectly and was a convenient and fun way to get around the island. Staff was very nice and accommodating. We rented the scooter at 11am and had to leave the next morning at 6am on a ferry. Although they opened at 8am they gave us instructions on how to leave the scooter for them. It turned out they sent an employee there at 5:30am that morning for us to take the scooter! Super considerate of them, I am disappointed I forgot to leave a tip. Also, I got my $250 deposit back on the scooter the same day I turned it in. Would definitely recommend these guys for anyone travelling to the island.

Went there looking to rent a Jeep..... all gone.....found this place by chance and change the whole trip. Best way to explore Vieques and this guys got the best service. We ride up an down the island without any trouble and only spent $6 on gas....too much fun for that price !!!! Coming back soon !!
Scooters for rent saved the day. I tried for 2 weeks to get a rental for my family of 6 on Avis, Maritza’s, Acevedo’s etc- to no avail. I called Scooters for rent on a whim as we were boarding to plane in Ceiba for Vieques and they were able to outfit us with 2 Polaris cars right away which looked brand new and worked awesome! The service was spot on and they even offered to take us to the airport to make sure we make our flight- these guys were great! FYI- The phone number on the website is up to date but the one on the island map is old. Goldmine!

Great experience renting a scooter from this company. Martha at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating. Scooters are fun to drive in Vieques, but obviously you have to be careful when driving around. Go at a decent speed, be aware of cars trying to pass you, watch out for a few horses on the road (same recommendation I would give you if renting a Jeep). Enjoy it!

Marta was very clear about pricing, terms, and how to. She gave us great, personalized recommendations for the beach and restaurants. Juan and Marta were amazing in helping me out from the moment I stepped into the shop until the moment I left the island.Im going to start off by saying that I was involved in a crash with my scooter. Honestly, it was my fault. The staff warned me about the narrow streets and to drive slow. And, they were more than helpful after my accident.When I first got off the ferry, I saw a young man with a sign for Scooters for Rent. He was more than helpful and let me know that a few other local vehicle rental shops were already booked for the day. After checking and confirming, I went to the Scooters for Rent shop and met Juan.First off, Juan is an amazing guy. His Brooklyn accent threw me off, but I cant say enough good things about him. After letting me know of the vehicle options, the scooters and the Polaris (an off road vehicle), I told him I wanted to scooter since it was cheaper.Juan was thorough in training me on how to use the scooter, and even provided me with bungees to tie down my bag. Even though he warned me that its common for beginners to get into accidents, I ignored him. (you already know where this is going)And then I got into an accident. I came back hours later and Juan was helpful. He was more worried about me than the scooter, which was much appreciated and helped me find the local pharmacy to cover my injuries. In the end, I paid for the damages.Next day, I switched to the Polaris and I loved it! I could go off road and drive down to the beaches. I was happy to go where other folks could not.Recommendation:Overall, scooters are great when traveling alone. Its cheap, but beware of the potential dangers and drive slow. The roads are short and wind often. I was doing 35mph when I fell and it was not pretty. Even though I was wearing a helmet, my body took some damage.The Polaris is my pick for sure. Its safe, reliable. It has seat belts and a lighter plug for phone chargers. It goes 25mph tops, but you wont need to go any faster. You can get to the other side of the island in 15min.Staff:Friendly and warm. I love Juan and Marta. They were both amazing folks to chat with as well.Best of luck on your travels!

Marta was awesome! She gave us great suggestions and directions for site seeing in Vieques. Gave us a map and circled areas to specifically visit.She was very helpful and supportive to my partner and I when my partner had an accident on the scooter. She kept the focus on him being ok. We will definitely go back to see Marta for rentals when we return to Vieques in the future.
WORST. PLACE. EVERWe rented a Polaris our first day on the island. They called us at 8am that day to tell us they had no Polaris and we were out of luck, they didn’t offer any solution as I tried to troubleshoot the issue. Finally, they said they could rent us a scooter for the next day, and day after.We picked up the scooter promptly at 8am the next day and were on our way. The scooter became harder and harder to start as the day went on, but it did last us the first day and we were able to get to breakfast on it the next morning. After that it wouldn’t work. We called in and talked to Lawrence, he didn’t care and was no help, and when my husband was asking him to help rectify the problem, he said that it wasn’t his problem because he didn’t rent it to us, and that his coworker did...and then hung up.I called back to tell him I was disputing all charges on PayPal, and leaving the scooter and keys behind so that he can deal with that hunk of junk.No help, bad equipment and bad customer service.
Worst service ever... we made reservations 2 weeks before going to vieques. We were a big family of 9 people we reserved 3 carts. When we got there they said they were sorry but they didn’t have the carts just like that. They leave us on the street. Definitely not a place to trust. They gave me my money refund as expected, but my plans were completely destroyed because of that.

Great customer service with Juan and Javier going above and beyond to help you out since a vehicle is absolutely necessary to explore the island. Bookings for the scooters and ATVs go fast (on entire island) so be sure to reserve in advance versus trying to figure it out when you get there like me. We rented an ATV and it is capped at 25mph per regulation so dont expect to get anywhere in a hurry.
Don’t rent anything from this people! The scooter was stolen and they charge us 2800 dollars, I’m so disappointed from this place my vacations were going so good until this happened! First time in Vieques, Puerto Rico and I had the worse experience ever!!!!!! The guy was so rude and didn’t help at all the only thing he says your credit card is already charged. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!
Best experience. I had made a reservation online and did it incorrectly. Upon arriving at the dock they where able to pick us up and kindly alter the reservation to my liking. The scooter was in incredible shape with newer tires and a soft fully coverd seat. I have previously been given bikes that sit in the sun all damaged and weathered. These are garage kept machines to my surprise, very well maintained. And on top of that they asked if there were any issues with handeling brakes basically all working parts when I turned it in so it could be fixed for the next customer. Overall great experience. These are the guys to go with.

One of very few renting company that still has a valid phone number on travel map. Provide pickup and delivery to/from Airport/Ferry. Located in Isabel II, close to ferry and gas station. We only see one staff at a time, so if he is away, he will lock this place until he get back.

We were at the Vieques Island this April 2019. This is one of the most professional companies on the island. All the terms & conditions are layed out clearly while we are renting the vechicle. We were scard about some reviews online about rentals companies that over charge. But we are very glad to find a professional company with well maintained vehicle.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Hes a glorified beggar: I tried to get a gold cart from the owner. His price is $75 which is 50% above other rental locations. Once I decided not to rent from him he went all crazy ranting about how I should have had a better plan and that he hates tourists who dont want to spend money for a good hour! He offered to drop me somewhere because hes a good samaritan while in reality he was picking a customer. He left me in the middle of nowhere and charged me more than what taxis would do. You know the type of beggar who asks for money and when you dont offer them they start swearing and spitting on you. That best describes this businesses professional behavior!

Nightmare of an experience. Not sure why their homeless doorman needed to tamper with the vehicle on multiple occasions? Not going to post blame for putting the UTV on its side but what I will blame this company for is outright fraud and false claim of repairs to the tune of 4,700.00. I have pictures of the damage and there is no way in hell there was A. engine damage for 2,200.00 and B. The unit had already been on its side from a group before us which was noted. However the hood was cracked and the mirror was wiped out but if labor to attach a 279.00 hood and 79.00 mirror, I am in the wrong business. This was a fully licensed tagged vehicle and should be covered by ACAA which I did everything I could to get it submitted. This company is a fraud. After multiple voicemails, emails, etc... They never returned a single one of them so I could get proof of the charges they forced on my bank card. I will be back to the island as my family has a house there and I will definitely be looking into legal recourse. This place is disgustingly corrupt.
We are visiting Vieques and staying in Esperanza. We rented a scooter from another company on the Southern side of Vieques, drove it to this side of the island, and had some issues with a security feature we didn’t understand, preventing us from getting it started. Unfortunately, both our phones were locked under the scooter seat (storage) and we couldn’t call our rental company! We pushed the scooter (in neutral) a few blocks to Scooters for Rent and were greeted and helped so kindly by the employees there; they called our rental company for us, helped us figure out the problem, and got us moving again. They were even going to give us a tow if we couldn’t get in touch with ‘our’ guys! While we didn’t rent from this business, we can say with 100% absolute certainty they are the nicest people you’ll find, and would recommend them to anyone looking for day rentals. Just wonderful, genuine customer service. Muy bien!
I would strongly advise against doing business with this place. I made a reservation online which I had to cancel later. Even though I canceled the reservation and got a confirmation email 4 days before the pickup date I was charged the full amount, nearly $500 for the reservation. I have been trying to contact them by phone and email for the last two weeks, and each time was given various dubious excuses for why the matter could not be resolved.
Ive had the worst experience ever. The woman was yelling at me for asking questions about the moped. The brake was so dull. And when I was asking her to change the moped, she was yelling at me again. It is the worst service I have gotten in my life. Its a no go people. There are other good rentals in Vieques.

We had no reservations, they had a golf cart on hand we rented it for 24 hours. When we decided we wanted to keep it another day we just stopped by and asked, Giovanni took care of everything in minutes. They seem overwhelmed with demands but if you take the time to talk a little they are very friendly.

Recently went to PR for trip and our ferry service was cancelled due to choppy ocean conditions. Saw that I was charged for my reserved scooter rental in Vieques even though I never was able to rent one. Called the scooter rental number multiple times and call would not go through, said it was busy. Tried to find email/text/etc. but could not find any other contact info.
I rented a golf cart and It broke down. And they charged me an extra day for being a hour late. Because of it My family barely made it to our Scuba class ( I would have lost $800). I had to go back and retrieve the cart afterward along with my luggage and spoke to them explaining that I would be late. When I returned the cart a little late due to the breakdown and the guy charges me for another day for being late when his car is what broke down!!! I said well if you are going to charge me then I will keep it until tomorrow. He said then that would be an additional day ! I calmly complained and he said take it up with his lawyer. Get out !1.Bad and rude service2. additional charges on my credit card.3. Tried to charge me for gas but when I asked to see it he said never mind.This place is a scam. The contract reads that if you do not take their insurance then they can charge you for the full amount of the vehicle if their is damage. But yet they do not have insurance to sell you. So if someone or something happens your screwed.
The carts look new. But they break down. You will spend hours waiting for them to fix it. No refund or adjustment in price. They treated us like it was our fault.

Terrible experience! A total deception after they give you information and you arrive to deliver the vehicle, they want to charge you $ 25 for gasoline when they tell you. That it is only 5 employees yell at you and fly away from you as a tourist and how you come rushing to deliver the vehicle does not give you time to fill it up at the station! I have videos of the employee yelling at us! What a bad service and what bad customer service that hurts such a beautiful island if you have a bad experience
Please do not believe in kind people, after referring us that he would not charge us more than $ 5 for gasoline, for consumption, since there was no gasoline in Vieques, which is recorded, when he arrived he wanted to charge us $ 25 for not being able to put gasoline, we got some nice people who put us 2 $ and we filled the tank, simply a scam, beyond that it would be impossible to put 25 $ of gasoline to a tank that does not get to use 8 $ to put it full, simply as I said before a scam For all this, tourists and more than all Puerto Ricans should not use their services, since businesses like this are those that deteriorate the image of the island and the indosimcracy of the Puerto Rican, please help raise the island even more
