Carlos was a very nice man and a competent repairman. He explained everything he did and told us to call if we had more trouble and if it happened again to record the sound it was making. The only reason I gave it a four was because he got here about an hour and a half after the drop dead time we were given. However, he did call and say he was behind so we werent upset about that at all. I had set aside that day to stay home and wait for him.
The promptness and efficiency of the repair technician was great. I believe his name is Paul.I did have some difficulty in explaining the location and destination for the appointment with the appointment staff. The a/c is located at a secondary vacation residence and should not be confused with my primary residence information you have on file for other Sears appliances. Your staff was courteous and I believe the correct contact and address information is now in place for this secondary residence.
This is the second time in less than 2 years that a less than 4 year old washer has been completely rebuilt and after 6 weeks is still not working properly! Never been so frustrated in my entire life and the expenses incurred at a washateria just to wash is astronomical!! π‘
Repairman was awesome! He was nice and repairs were same day! Repairman was 5 star. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because the Repair was a little over priced. But overall great experience. The house is nice and cool!
It took 7 weeks and 5 trips to get refrigerator repaired. We purchased a replacement plan, when we purchased, were told that if they couldnt repair it, it would be replaced. What they failed to mention that they would need to replace parts 3 times in a 12 month period before the appliance is eligible for replacement. This is all well an good, but what is a customer to do for so long of a period without the appliance? Sears does not take that into consideration. We will never purchase from Sears again!
Not satisfied at all!! I have a kenmore side door refrigerator, bought it a year ago ever since then I have been having alot of problems with the freezer . they come a check on it and still cant find the problem. I lost over $800.00 of nothing but steak and sea food . very disappointed at this!!!! Dont know it the fridge came defected from the manufacturing, and will and havent gotten it replace. All sears does is just schedule an appointment with a technitian ...
What we liked best was the repairperson said exactly what was being repaired and why. And we learned that adding oil was made simpler by pouring on the dipstick. We were really impressed with the repairman.
The repairman ( Steve ), was vey informative and knowledgeable. Ordered the part ahead of time and went right to work upon arrival. The range now works perfectly and we couldnt be happier. Many thanks ! !
We have an extended warranty for our HVAC system that includes free semi-annual maintenance visits. The last couple of times Sears sent someone out, they spent less than 10 minutes inspecting it. When weve hired a contractor at our own expense, the inspection and maintenance check was much more thorough and took at least 30 minutes.
The repair man was very nice and knowledgeable. He fixed the wash machine fast and he found out quickly that I needed a new motor. Sears is really great company from sales to repair.

Ms.Loretta was awesome! She was not able to fix the refrigerator but her overall performance was great! The bad SEARS IN GENERAL I got the run around for 2 days straight trying to get a replacement and I wont have a new fridge until Saturday April 22 which I think is crap I have 5 kids under the age of 12 they do not understand why we have no food!!! And Im very dissatisfied with all the problems Ive had not even 30 days after purchasing a new out of the box refrigerator
Initial review: The first two customer service representatives I spoke with on the phone were rude. The third was polite and helpful. The repair man showed up in the allotted window and the repair was done correctly.Update: I have been dealing with this company for two years. Im really glad I got the warranty, because three of the five warranties I got from Sears have been necessary to utilize. This repair men are always respectful and helpful, but they NEVER have the parts necessary to make the repairs. They ALWAYS have to order parts and come back later to complete the repair. Even when you know what is wrong with the appliance, and tell the person with whom you made the appointment.
Easy to set up appointment, excellent follow up keeping me informed of date and time of service and our technician was very informative, neat and completed the service as requested. We will definitely use this service again if need be and will highly recommend them to our friends.

Havent had a working refrigerator since April 16. We paid for a warranty and where they have come out to fix it MANY times⦠it has never been fixed and Sears refuses to replace it or do anything about all the faulty parts other than putting it off. We have been left with a dorm sized fridge and thats supposed to be enough for a family of three? Seriously Sears?
Repair service called and let me know the repairman was on his way. When he arrived, he was later than expected but he explained that there was an accident that held up traffic for awhile. I told him what the problem was and he immediately knew what to do. He cut out the hole in the plastic tubing that runs the water to the refrigerator tap and to the icemaker, inserted a connector in the tubing. He was done in 30 minutes with everything. The repairman was friendly, efficient and knew his job. Thank you Sears very much. I give you a 5 star rating.
The problem I am having is that a large puddle of water is left under my washing machine every time I wash a load of clothes. I showed your repairman how the detergent cup is holding a lot of water and is rusting on the outside. I asked him if it could be the problem. He assured me it was not a problem and that I needed a new tub rubber gasket. He ordered it mid December and returned to install it Jan 13th. Then he decided that it was the valve in the detergent cup that was the problem after all. So now a new valve is on order and I am waiting for the part, then the return of the repairman. That will make 4 days of waiting around for my washer to be fixed. The repairman warned me that he will need another repairmans assistance to remove my dryer (which is stacked over the washer). Therefore, I will probably have to wait until there will be another repairman in our area working on someone elses washer, that can help him. It has become an ordeal.
This gentleman was pretty knowledgeable, meticulous and good. He coach me on what to do lf certain things would go wrong. I really appreciate his work. I would recomend him to any of my friends.

I give SEARS no stars. If I had this to do over I would not purchase any appliances from SEARS. I have scheduled a repair technician on:June 6th, 2017-Technician finally showed up at 6:15pm and stayed till9:00pm. She was to fix the sheet of ice in the freezer section. She found something wrong with the door and said she would order parts and for me to call, make appointment and shed come back .June 20, 2017-Technician scheduled to come replace parts. Technician never showed up. By 7:15pm I called and cancelled the appointment as I felt this was too late. The froze sheet of ice in the freezer section is still there and I now have water drinking all over the floor daily.June 27, 2017-Technician schedule to come. SEARS called and said technician was sick and I had to reschedule.July 11, 2017- Technician scheduled to repair Whirpool Refrierator. She did calland said shed be here. She never showed up. I also understand she told SEARS she had completed the job.(Liar, liar)August 1, 2017-Technician scheduled to come, its now 4:30pm and Im still waiting.SEARS has a contract company,a & e factory out of San Antonio doing repairs for them. My question is if they dont ever show up, how can they charge for services. If they keep moving your schedule time further and further in the day, when will I ever be seen. I took an extended warranty put on this frig. A lot of good that did me.Shame, shame on you, SEARS. I have called many times and spoke to your people. They dont care. All they want is for me to reschedule. WHY. No one ever comes. Shame, shame on a&hefor hiring staff like this. Was the word integrity removed from the dictionary?
I have a Kenmore stackable washer and dryer. I called Sears to let them know that the dryer belt had broken and ask them to send a repairman with a necessary part. The repairman showed up within 7 days with no belt. He ordered the belt which cost three times as much and took three times as long to get here as it would have if I had ordered it online. Even though I used a 25% off Sears aapliance repair coupon, it still cost $166 and took nearly a month. Not acceptable these days.

Multiple attempts, repair still not complete. Lies from call agents, parts never ordered, duplicates of other parts, tech could not wire motor for ice dispenser, then he breaks the ice making process, lies to customer, attempts to get another tech ignored.UPDATE! On the latest visit, the tech -- after being coached by speakerphone to make a very rudimentary repair -- shorted out and effectively totaled our refrigerator, causing us to have to replace the appliance, with all the expense and time-wasting involved.
The repairman who came has been here before, and the repairs were done satisfactorily. However, this time one of the problems was fixed but that evening the other problem, same part, was still not working properly. We have rescheduled for Thursday, May 4th.

Sears came to my house only after a month after the first time I scheduled, charged $89, and found a very simple problem.Price to fix: $944 (a new machine costs about $600).I feel I wasted time and money.
After the technician left on May 4th, the ice maker was still not working. We had to call for service again and the length of time to wait for service and then the length of time waiting for the part to arrive and a new service call to be made is unacceptable. We had service on our ice maker last November. While the ice maker was working it acted up since that service call. We called for service again in April since it completely stopped making ice. We couldnt get service until April 21st at which time the technician ordered parts and did not return until May 4th. The ice maker never started making ice so we called again on May 6th and the technician came on May 13. He had to order more parts and we will not see him until June 3rd even though the parts have been here for 2 weeks. We have been without ice since April and hopefully they can fix it on June 3rd.

My frig was not fixed on this visit, nor was it fixed on a visit sept 10th. And does not work at this point for over a month.No one has notified us of any further action. This is our third frig gone bad from sears in 2yrs. Cant recommend them to anyone.
