Mikes Garage and Towing is the best company. When you call and the trucks come out the Men are so respectful, helpful all around great people. Then going to the Office Garage The woman there is on the ball and multitasking trying to get everyone taken care of as efficiently as possible. Great place and the only one I request when I need help.

Extremely rude lady, not sure who it is but it’s whoever picks up the phone. Never have dealt with with such poor character when dealing with a business. How are they open I don’t know.

Very very rude office people telling me that I had a attitude and that the day before the other lady I was being a punk and that she can see it now. When I was using yes ma’am and no ma’am the whole time. They aren’t very organized at all. I was having my truck towed to Mr.Scraps which was a very polite man and pays for the tow there and that mikes will under stand his policy. I told the lady at mikes that it was getting towed to Mr.Scraps and that he covers the tow there, she then repeatedly went to say that she was going to charge me for the tow there. So I had Mr.Scrap call Mikes to tell them his policy she gave him a attitude on the phone as well. Needless to say my bill was near 600 dollars to be towed there and if you are there longer than 30 minutes you get charged a extra 60 dollars!!! very unprofessional I help run a business and I’m only 17 and I would 100% say that I’m more professional than any of them there.

Stuck on the side of I95 almost 3 hours, called just to get updates on my tow in a very overwhelming situation and the staff “helping” me on the phone was being unnecessarily rude. The tone of voice and the attitude was extremely off putting. Even in my situation I am calm and kind and I was NOT met with the same respect. Absolutely awful experience and I will be filing a larger complaint. It is unacceptable to treat someone this way, especially when you’re offering a service. You have no idea what others are experiencing in tough situations and this company lacks empathy and professionalism.

This guy is a total amature....we waited for him to move his truck but tow driver waved a 26 ft u-haul past, contact with his mirror was made and only bent it back (like intended) and this dude lost his mind like we smacked his momma.....no real damage.....no need for his hostility. Driver was nice but the office personnel needs to improve their customer service. Very poor, mean attitude. As business persons your business is deemed successful by your return customers. This is one customer that will not be using their services again.

Our car would not move. It was fine in the morning, but it turns out the linkage disconnected. Called and were given a time. Tow truck showed up 15 minutes later than scheduled. This is not the first time tow trucks have been late for us. I think its is a disconnect between driver and dispatch. First world problem. The service was worth the wait. Arthur was great. He figured out how to get the car into drive so he didnt have to drag it onto the flat bed. He was efficient and knowledgable. we hope we dont have to call for a tow again, but if we do, we will be sure it is Mikes.

They did fine in the towing service. They picked up the car took it to the destination and unloaded it without a problem. However their office is deplorable when I called at 5 minutes to 3 they promised 1 hour when they did not come within an hour they did not call me I had to call them, where are you? Oh there has been a delay itll be another 30 minutes okay said I, it was not until 5 that they finally arrived

The woman and her assistant who towed my car were such an awesome duo they arrived sooner then the arrival time I was so aggravated that my car broke down and they really made me feel at ease especially with this whole virus thing And she was able to tell me what was wrong. No Stars! We donated a SUV to Make A Wish and they contracted this company to pick it up. They showed up to pick up the SUV with a 3 car carrier loaded with 3 cars. They wanted to back up on the driveway to pick up the SUV and tow it behind. I said yes as I assumed the driver knew what he was doing, but I have trees over the driveway and they already had a car on the top of the rig. That car on the top of the rig was scratched up by the trees limbs. After the driver left I went to pick up the mail and found that the driver had drove off the driveway and shattered 20 feet of the driveway, look at the attached picture. We called Mikes to address this and were told that because I gave the driver permission to backup on the driveway that it was my fault, they are not liable and that if we dont like it than take us to court! NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY!

The tow driver had to drive several miles on a dirt road in a state park to find where my car had broken down. He was very reassuring and comforting to me during a stressful time. He brought my car to a reputable repair facility ( D & S Auto Repair, Sebastian, FL) and they got me back on the road quickly at a reasonable price. The cost for the towing was incredibly fair...thank you

My Daughter was in a car accident last night and her vehicle had to be towed. I arrived at the scene with in about 10 minutes of her call to me. Told the trooper I would call Jody from Firehouse Towing and Garage to come get her car as it was not derivable and she was transported to Sebastian Hospital. The State Trooper told me that there was a deal with another company that the State Troopers had and they would be coming to get the Vehicle. I was told there was no choice in the matter. Unfortunately it was Mikes Towing from Vero Beach that was called out. As the car had towing and assistance on the insurance the outrageous bill that Mikes towing and the 3 other towing outfits working out of the same yard was not that big of a deal to me. The following morning after getting out of the Hospital with my Daughter at nearly Midnight, I called about getting into her car to retrieve her wallet and some personal effects out of the vehicle, I was told that she would have to come to their yard with her License and registration for the car and pay the towing and storage charges before she could get anything out of it, Mind you her information was all in the vehicle, and I said this to the woman on the phone. She basically told me that it wasnt her problem and then basically hung up on me. I contacted the insurance company and gave them the information and also told them we wanted them to handle it since wee were getting no where with Mikes. Mind you the adjuster was very polite and when I told her what went on she told me that Mikes had that reputation. She attempted to call about getting it released but was repeatedly put on hold or sent to voice mail. We finally had to go to the tax collectors office, spend 35 and change on a new drivers license and then go down to what I could only call the slums of Newark and sign an affidavit to release the car to the Insurance company and will wait till it gets to a reputable shop to get her belongings out of it and find out if it is going to be repairable or not. Who knows the extra damage they did to it while it was in their custody. I honestly would rather pay out of pocket for a reputable company like Firehouse to tow me then I would for having AAA or whom ever pay Mikes to tow anything for me. If I could have I would have given Mikes a negative 5 stars

Was suppose to pick up at 12:40, then 1:30, and finally came at 2:45. This was after several calls. Picked up my motorcycle and was to meet me at the shop. I arrived, waited 25 minutes - still no tow truck Called and I was informed the driver was picking up another vehicle, dropping that vehicle off and then would deliver my vehicle by 5:00. So basically it took from the time I initially called at 11:45 until 5:00 when I left the shop to get my motorcycle towed. As far as I am concerned they owe me money for my time.

Called my Insurance for a tow. Insurance company said 90 minutes before a tow would be there . Mikes dispatch called me to inform me that I did not have to be there for a shop to shop tow. Hour later called me again to inform me that I was told I needed to be there because the Auto Shop was not signing a damage wavier . Which I knew they couldnt sign didnt expect the shop to sign. The lady I spoke with was rude. Incompetent and gave the wrong information . Very Rude No Customer Service .

Called this morning with a little situational. Asked what theyd charge to come move a trailer for me. Lady on phone was polite gave me an estimate and told me driver was on anther call and would be to me when he was done. Sheldon showed up a little while later. Once he got here, he was great. Very nice professional, and got this trailer moved. Had a great experience and would definitely use them again.

This the second time my insurance company sent this company out for roadside assistance. The first time, they towed me the next morning and recommended a great mechanic who I continue to use. They are a great company, fast, courteous and reliable. Than you Mike for making my move to Vero easier because I know if I have car trouble, I’m covered!

After renting a tow dolly and picking it up here. We used it and returned it the next day. After leaving I checked my bank account and seen that they charged me more money for the rental. I called up there and got one of the two women in the office. They told me it was because I didn’t return it the night before. I explained the rental I have printed shows a completely different price for the rental. She attempted to tell me that we were called by Uhaul and told them we returned it the night before. That’s why we were charged again. I told her she told me something different and she started yelling at me saying I was cussing her and screaming at her. Which I never did, every time we would disagree with her she would talk to me like a five year old and try to scold me. When I told her I would just cancel the whole charge. She said “ fine then I won’t help you to get it fixed” and hung up on me. When I called back she childishly hung up on me. I called Uhaul and they refunded the charge as well as confirmed they had never called us or the dealer about us. I will be filing the same review on every social media outlet as well as the Better Business Bureau. Though from what I understand they are not well liked anyway.

Called about a vehicle registered to them and the lady mocked me and was completely rude cause I didnt know that if a vehicle is left at a wreckers they have to register itinthere name. Ill make sure when Im asked about the 100s of cars I find that need towing in the Vero beach area to make sure this place is off the list.

I deal with Mikes quite a bit and it has always been a pleasure doing business with them. If your nice and respectful to them, they will be nice and respectful back to you. Dont listen to all the negative reviews, majority of those are most likely from people who dont understand that businesses like this can get extremely busy and have protocols to follow. Keep doing what your doing Mikes!

Arrived in timely manner and loaded car up on flatbed. The driver was personable and professional. He took care with the car when loading and unloading it, no damage to car as a result. I would strongly recommend their service.

Not worth my time

My truck got a flat tire on the side of the road this afternoon so my sister in law pulled up behind me and turned her hazard lights on. Triple A determined the wheel was completely stuck and needed to be towed. It took Mikes over an 1 hour to finally get there. He pulls up determines my sister in laws car (parked for hazard lights) is in the way to pull the truck onto the trailer. The car battery had died since the hazards were on for so long. We didn’t have jumper cables so we asked the man from mikes if he had some we could borrow to jump the car to move it so that he could back the trailer up to the truck. He told us that it would cost us $50 to jump our car, he wouldn’t just let us do it.. he HAD to do it himself for $50 (Keep in mind he could not tow the truck unless we jumped the car). After trying to find a more affordable solution we decided to just pay him. But he doesn’t accept credit cards only cash or check. Making my mother in law walk all the way back to her car (parked quite a distance away) and back next to a street busy with traffic. When she returned with cash he informed us that he needed to see her liscense. Making her walk all the way back to her car and back again.Mikes Towing is an unethical, classless company that scams people in distress to make some extra cash. I would highly recommend choosing ANY other towing company.

From the tow driver point of view, Mike Garage Service have excellent drivers, maybe that’s the reason Mike feel he can be rude to anyone, and his daughter at the front desk can have no customer service what so ever, this business fit the criteria for the worst customer service ever, I will never support Mike Garage again, and I will be sure to relay that same message to anyone I rub shoulders with, until the company changed their customer service policy, by taking up some training through chic fil a!!!!

When stuck Sunday last night after 6:00 PM almost 100 miles from my workshop Mikes Tow sent a great guy who really knew his stuff. We were treated with respect and courtesy in a proffessional manner. This is the worst towing company Ive ever been to. The customer service was non-existent, the people were rude on the phone, and the lady at the front desk was obnoxious and short-tempered. They threateed to suspend our licenses. We had to sell the car to pay our fees, at a loss. It effectively felt like our car was stolen. Other than a slow leak in the tire, it had no issues. It was registered, had a parking permit on the window, ran, and was towed in the dead of night. We never saw a towing notice, though they claim there was one. We were told we could not get the car for 4 days, during which time they (from what I can tell illegally) added more fees. They showed no remorse for the fact that they had participated in what was the loss of an important vehicle to us. This company is absolutely the worst company I have ever encountered in my life.

There wasnt a single employee of this facility that was pleasant or friendly. The condition of the lot made my skin crawl. Every employee we encountered spoke to us as if we were criminals, when all we wanted was to assess damage to our vehicle after a minor traffic accident. Avoid this place like the plague.

Zero stars. Company picked up my car and damaged. Broke the bumper and scratched the bottom of it. Then blamed it on me. If you care about your car do not use them. Marissa in the office is the most unprofessional person to deal with. Beware!!!! They will damage your car. So glad to have good insurance. They will subrogate against this low life company....

Pleasant turn of a bad break. These guys showed up quickly and got the tire on our U-Haul changed. Checked all the rest of the tires at our request and was pleasant the whole time. But heres the kicker, the tire and rim that U-Haul sent was different and didnt fit over the caliper, so our Mikes representative, (we didnt catch his name) pulled the tires back off and rearranged them so they would fit and we could be on our way. We were quoted 90 minutes for a response distance of 76 miles and he was there in under an hour. Fantastic service and thank you!

Thieves! I promise you.... these people are unreal. My friend went to pick her car up after paying for a tow. The battery was dead and they told her she could not jump her car on the property but they would jump it for 100 dollars. Are you kidding? Then her guy decides to do it out of the kindness of his heart after we explained her husband is an officer. He jumps the battery backwards and blows the main fuse..... he then pushes her car out of the lot and leaves us standing there. This company needs to be put out of business!!

These people are the worst! They towed my car today from a tow-away zone that I didnt notice, while i was at work. My debit card and identification were in the car. They asked me for identification to pick up my vehicle. I explained that it was in the car. They told me I needed to find different identification! I had to call the police in order to get my ID and debit card from my car. Once I got those back, they refused to take my debit card! The people behind the counter were rude and profane. I had to walk in the pouring rain to the store to use the ATM to get their $135. I wish I could leave zero stars, too, like the other reviewer. Im very close with two people who have used their services legitimately in the past and theyll probably never use them again. Use Ch****es towing instead. Those guys are always nice and professional. Mikes... Not so much. Thanks for ruining my day, folks...

If 0 stars were a rating I so would. The associates at this place are disgusting. My car needed to be towed while at was at work so my mom was on her way over to drop the keys off. The guy arrived about 15 to 20 minutes before my mom could get there. The associates hung up the phone on me TWICE and wouldnt give me their names. Thry said he couldnt wait abd somebody needs to to be there to have it towed which I understand but I dont need the attitudes that they gave. They insisted that he had been there for 40+ minutes and when I called back to say my mom was turning on the street she said you said THAT 3 minutes ago if she had turned on the street he would have seen her by now. I hadnt even been on the phone for 45 seconds let alone 3 minutes! She insisted on arguing with me. I will be calling the better business bureau on them in the morning. He saw my mom and TOLD her that I need to reschedule instead of doing his job while he was there.

I was broke down on 95 at 7 pn a sunday night. mikes came in a very reasonable. time.After the driver took us to a local hotel out of his way but at a fair price they took my car ro their shop and had it running in 36 hours. Their tow bill and services were very reasonable and i am very pleased. thanks

Was told to leave the property, called you people several times overall i can say the experiences was exactly what people said 10/10 crazy old lady works there then was blamed why her shop had bad reviews. nice to no bottom feeders like her look like her easy to distinguish, oh and baldy if you ever wanna go you know my address lets talk outside of your property since you know you had to call the cops since your such a big man xD. oh and also they charge by the calendar day which they tell you nothing about guess its for you to find out even if you come with 12 hrs of it being placed in the lot. seen some nice ladys before but when your own employees are saying they agree with you behind your back you know the place is a joke

My experience with this towing company was terrible.I do not recommend anyonrto get this towing company to tow them. The two fat girls at counter and on the phone were rude and very unprofessional.They acted like it was their car then hung up on me. They would not let me take pictures of my own car even after I paid the towing fee. They acted like I was bothering them because they had to work. I will never ever use this tow company again.. To start off, I got in a car accident and my car was towed to Mikes Garage & Wrecker Service to be impounded, the car was totaled. The first day I was in the hospital my dad called to see if he could come pay to get the car released, salvaged and remove my plates. They refused to let anybody but myself get the car (I was in the ICU at the time), and they already had an attitude over the phone. So basically we were racking up charges and unless I got out of the hospital to come collect my car, the price of getting my plates back went up and up.So the day after I got out of the hospital for a fractured sternum we went to get the car. They told us over the phone on Tuesday that we could come get the car on Wednesday. So we show up on Wednesday and its closed because of veterans day...We came back the next day (Thursday) and tried to explain the situation to avoid being charged for an extra day where we couldnt even pay to remove the car. The woman behind the window instantly became hostile and denied anybody could have told us that they were open on veterans day. She said we had an attitude and threatened to have us kicked off her private property.So we sucked it up and paid the extra money which was about $75 more than it should have been because the car was locked in the impound for 3 days with no way for us to get it out. We called a salvager and he paid us and took the car. I informed the woman behind the counter that I would be leaving her a negative review online. To which she said to me Ill be sure to sue you for slanderIn conclusion, you would have to be crazy to willingly do business at this place.

Rude from the minute i answered their call. Horrible attitudes..i ended up canceling the tow! They will never get my buisness and i would never recommend them.

The truck arrived within the hour. Scott was very helpful and friendly. There were no issues with the agreed price quote.

Truck 28s driver is reckless and neglegent; flew past us on 20th in a 45 mph zone, weaving in and out of cars by minimal margins using no signal and tailgating anyone who got into his way. I was unable to reach the office for comment.

I’ve never been treated or talked to so horribly as a customer. I will never use this towing service again and I would NEVER recommend them to anyone!Bad experience and I pray no one ever has to go through what I went through with these people who threatened to leave me stranded and then did end up leaving me without my car being towed. I’m still confused as to what they were so mad about when I am the customer whose car was broken down on the side of the road at 6 months pregnant with 3 children and a dog in the car in the FL summer heat. When I tried explaining the situation to the manager I was told to take my business elsewhere! The man could care less about his customers and clearly his reputation in this small town!

My wife’s brake lines went out on 27th just nort of caps pizza. Called and the lady at the desk was not the most pleasant to talk with. After about 15 minutes she calls me and tells me her driver is at caps. Now let me remind you I used caps pizza as a reference I told her I was north of that. She freaks out that I’m not t caps and says she will have the price adjusted for making her driver drive around like an idiot. Then I said just tell your driver to go north I’m just up the street you can’t miss it. She calls back saying her driver still can’t find us. At this point I realize I’m dealing with an idiot coordinator at the desk. She then proceeded to hang up on me. I call back and ask why she hung up and she said I was waistling their time. Driver showed up and he was pretty cool but over all horrible. Me and my wife are down here on military orders and they were the people I had to rely on that evening......... you’re better off calling another company.

Terrible experience with their u hual truck. They charged me incorrectly for $323 then wouldnt give me a receipt or any explanation of charges. The lady to who I spoke was exceptionally rude and i can only hope she was simply having a bad day rather than be that nasty in her everyday life.

Avoid this business if at all possible! They responded for roadside assistance, and when they arrived, the driver was more than rude with us. He used profanity with me. I told him I didnt want to use his service, and he was hostile. I was in fear for my safety. Not what you want when you are already dealing with car issues!

Not a good experience - My wifes car was towed by Mikes due to a car accident. When I went over to get stuff out of it, they were nice enough. My wife had gone back over to get some additional things, and they required her licence for processing and then never gave it back. They realized they still had it when they added it to the lost and found collection of licences behind the desk, instead of calling and telling us. So once we figured it out, another trip was required from PSL to get it. Our insurance company sent a tow truck up to get the car, Mikes told them they didnt have it and turned them away. NOTE: they have designated different lots, one of which is Jerrys, not Mikes, hence - Mikes does not have it. Big jerk around and when my wife asked to talk to the owner, he was not interested in hearing the detail, but did a great job of providing excuses and justification ........ I would not recommend using Mikes if you need them personally however, if you need to get someone towed, rest assured they will get the double whammy based on the way these guys do business -

Zero stars if it were possibe. This company basically took our legally parked and registered car from our home, a condo place that didnt like that we had a fast leak in the tire and usually left the car in the same spot. They then wouldnt let us get it back from Friday until Tuesday, because of Labor Day weekend, and claiming they needed our landlords permission, who was also on holiday. We had to sell our family automobile to a junkyard, to make up the nearly 300 dollars they wanted that we didnt have. They threatened to revoke my wifes license and were rude to my mother on the phone and told us that leaving internet reviews were idle threats when we told them they would be reviewed. Mike, this is that idle threat, delivered.

Worst towing company in vero beach my cousing was in a serious accident he came to mikes the day after to get his belonging the receptionist was VERY NASTY and didnt allow him to get anything outta his car they talk to him very wrong and didnt allow him to get nothing we feel they were pretty racist and i nor my family will never have them tow anything i repeat do not go to them

Wow, read that AAA was picking up bikes for members. My friend had a disabled bike at Round Island this morning. AAA sent Mikes and they came and picked up my friend and his bike and returned them to his car at Jaycee Park. What a lifesaver.

Avoid this group like the plague! Unfortunately I had an opportunity to deal with this business in wholesale. They are rude to a fault, do not pay bills in a timely manner...As a consumer I had the misfortune of being advised by U-Haul to return a trailer to them after a one way trip from Gainsville. First, an employee shut the main road gate in my face upon entry attempt; second, an employee slammed door on me as I attempted to enter office; third, when I indicated my reason for trying to do business I was told We aint takin no more U-Haul trailers. I tried to explain that U-Haul told me to drop the trailer with them but they seemed unable to comprehend the educated English language and told me to find another U-Haul dealer that might take the trailer. I left without attempting to clarify and vow that if ever I am confronted by these people in the future legal representation will be present.

Service is not good. Will not use again.

Cursed out me and my grandfather when we asked to rent a trailer the lady that runs the uhaul portion is repulsive and has the worst attitude of anyone Ive ever met. Do not go here

I canceled the service.

I called tIem they say that they are busy & it will take 2 hours for a truck to be available. I waited for 2 hours they finally pick up the phone & say that they are taking no more order & hang up on my face

I see a lot of bad reviews on the site Im really sorry for everyones experience I had a really good experience twice Ive had to use Mikes towing and Scott helped us both times and he was so professional and so nice and he served our country thank you Scott
