My car broke down. Non emergency, but still a pain and uncomfortable. Called Charlies Towing at 8am the next morning, gave information and location and was told it would be about an hour. Just about to the minute one hour later, here comes Jordan L. of the towing company with a smile and a wave. We took care of the financials, determined where I wanted my vehicle to be taken and that was that. Jordan, a very professional and knowledgeable young man, very politely and skillfully loaded on my car taking great care with both my vehicle and his truck. I shook the mans hand, he drove off and I was on time for work. Charlies Towing Company and Jordan L. turned an unfortunate events into a Good Day just like that. I am sincerely grateful and highly recommend this service. Thank You guys!!

They damaged my son’s truck and did not take responsibility for it. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I would not recommend using this business. My son’s truck was legally parked in his grandmother’s subdivision so that we could attend a family wedding and spend time with his grandmother on Mother’s Day. She had permission from the owner of the property to park two vehicles in the owner’s driveways, and she had taken the steps with the HOA that are required. We are consulting with an attorney regarding Charles Towing’s damage to my son’s vehicle, as we believe he was illegally towed and damages incurred.

This is the most horrible place ever. My roadside assistance contacted them for a tow for my motorcycle. I was told 1 1/2 to 2hrs. After 2hrs I contacted Charlies and was told the driver had been on their way and should reach me anytime. 20mins later the driver called me and said he was just leaving and would reach me in another 1 1/2hrs. Im sitting on the side of the road in the Florida sun. I asked the driver why so long and why was I lied to that we were all burning up. The driver had the nerve to laugh at me. The most unprofessional unpleasant non trustworthy business ever! And no they didnt still get my business after lying and laughing at me.Heres the info from Geico and also the number I called when I was blatantly lied to.

Mike, the technician who came & towed us from the side of SR 60 to a hotel in vero beach was wonderful!!! He came much quicker than we expected & was super patient as he waited for us to get all our luggage & belongings out of our vehicle as we have been traveling to Texas past 2 weeks. I had a break down on A1A on the way to work. I left my vehicle at a local convenience store with permission from the attendant. I got to work and called Charlies towing to pick the vehicle up after I got off work. The store owner wasnt informed of the arrangement and called Charlies towing to impound my vehicle. Charlies Towing told them I had made arrangements and then contacted me. They negotiated a time for the vehicles removal on my behalf. The driver, Porter, picked the vehicle up to assure it wasnt impounded then picked me up from work and took the vehicle and I home. They didnt charge me any more for the extra service. I greatly appreciate them and their dedication to customer service. I will always use Charlies from this point on and I recommend you do the same. Thank you Charlies towing for being one of the best companies I have dealt with in Vero Beach.

I called them to tow a Off road vehicle from my home to a repair shop. Timely response, polite driver.Here’s the bad part. My vehicle is loaded up and he heads to the repair shop about 40 minutes away from My home.3 hours go by and I call the shop to see if it arrived. Service people tell me it’s not there. I call Charlie’s towing and I’m told that they had to respond to multiple vehicle wreck and that they dropped my vehicle off at a mall. While they towed the wrecked vehicles.Then he tells me it’s currently on its way to repair shop. He did finally arrive at the shop 3 1/2 hours after pick upI can’t believe they just dropped off a UTV vehicle In a Public lot unattended.I would not recommend using this company.

I was in a wreck and one of the tow drivers just so happened to be near the accident and pulled up minutes after the accident. Not only did he calm me down from the shock I was in, but also helped to tow the vehicle right there. Between insurance complications and the vehicle being completely totaled, Charlies Towing helped us through it. They also towed it back to our house. They do not charge astronomical prices for storage and towing and are genuinely good people. I wish more towing companies were like them. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

Charlies Towing flatbed truck arrived at the time promised. The driver, Scott Howell was an absolute joy to be with - I rode with him while my truck was delivered to the dealership and we had a great time visiting on the trip. Scott accomplished the loading, hauling, and delivery of my vehicle quite professionally and his personality makes him a great representative of this company. I will eagerly recommend this company to others.

Our son was moving to college when his car broke down. We called our insurance company to have the car towed to his apartment which was 73 miles away. He had college commitments the next day. The insurance company sent us the phone number for Charlies Towing. We called and got a quote for $232. I offered to go ahead and give them a credit card number at that point because we werent with my son. He was in a different county at this point. The woman on the phone said that it was better if my son give the driver a credit card once the car was dropped off. Once they got to the destination the tow truck driver said his invoice indicated it was cash only. After much discussion they agreed to put it on a credit card for a higher amount. When we tried to explain that we were given a quote he reversed the credit card charge and demanded cash or they would bring the car back to Vero Beach. Thankfully after about an hour my Sons landlord loaned him some cash.

Worst customer service experience!! My sons car wouldnt start and was still under warranty. My roadside assistance contracted Charlie Towing and they gave an ETA of an hour & a half. 2 hours passed, and I called them to see when they were going to arrive.The girl who answered said the driver didnt leave yet to come. She also said he would be another 45 minutes at least out. When I questioned her about that, she immediately said, YOU CAN FIND ANOTHER TOW COMPANY AND I AM CANCELING YOUR SERVICE CALL!I didnt have the chance to say another word to her because she hung up on me. Trust me, if this can happen to me, then it most definitely has happened to lots of potential customers.DO NOT give any business to them!! They obviously do not want it and will fall through on their services.

Absolutely the nicest people in town in the towing business. You do not have to deal with rude office personnel, you do not have to worry about personal items stolen out of your car, the driver was clean and they responded at a amazing time to my breakdown. I give this company 2 thumbs up.

Scott from Charlies towing was a hero today. My keys got locked in my car while the engine was running at a gas station. He pulled up and seen my situation and had my truck unlocked withing 5 minutes. I made it to my estimate on time and didnt even want a tip. But i made him take it. Car got towed by my hoa for expired parking pass. No notice at all. Told me it was 125 today and would be 225 tom. Not very helpful at all when you’re in a jam. That car is my only way to work and I am a Domestic Abuse victim so it also puts me in jeopardy. I’m sure they are good at towing people that need it. Must be all about the money I guess

I want to warn everyone out there, Charlies towing company are crooks. They held on to my sons four wheeler and wouldnt give it back. We had to get our attorney to serve them with a court order to get the four wheeler back. I would not recommend this company to anyone 😠

This company is dedicated to deceiving and robbing smaller companies by sending them to transport cars that never pay they charge the money and do not pay you. I have text messages from the owner of the company saying that he does not care and that he is not going to pay anything.

Even though they towed my vehicle being in the wrong spot they were very nice and prompt to meet me after I found out where my car was lol. Lesson learned. Check over grown bushes for signs.

Tom or Tim sold me a vehicle from this placed and lied thru his teeth! Told me he fixed all kinds of things on it and it was an impound. Only to buy it and discover he didnt do a thing, it wasnt an impound and it must have been in a flood or some kind of high water. Ripped me off $1500.

They advertise that theyre open 24hrs yet when I called them over an hour ago the call went directly to voice mail and I have yet to hear back from them. Perhaps its me but I thought 24hrs meant 24hrs.
