The good: Honest and reliable service, competitive prices, clean and comfortable waiting room, and within walking distance of great restaurants if you want to grab a bite while you wait.The bad: Dont do transmission work. Not great at keeping appointments. Sometimes you are in and out, but more often you are waiting a long time. Today I had an appointment for 1pm for an oil change and my car wasnt even in the garage until 3.Overall: I recommend this shop for most maintenance and repairs, but definitely drop your car off instead of waiting if you can.

Had an appointment at 9am. I was told a hour and a half. 11:10 and my vehicle is still in the same place I left it. Great customer service though.

Dont waste your time with the online reservation system, you really dont have an appointment until someone at Firestone approves it and they may not do it until you show up and they tell you that you dont have an appointment. If you use Fix-A-Flat in your tire they wont fix your tire, even though they have done so in the past. Employees were OK and tried their best but they could use more help.

My car was towed to Firestone because my alternator stopped working and my battery was dead. They do a free courtesy check which should have been plenty obvious that it was my alternator but instead they charged me $99.99 Plus tax to do a diagnostic engine check. There was nothing wrong with my engine! I never asked them to check my engine. When I asked if they do this with every car the guy responded with no then I asked him why he chose to do it with my car he said its how the guy gets paid??? Makes no sense. They wanted to charge me $1,000 to replace my alternator and battery. I got it towed to a different shop that was way more reasonable.

I make reservations for all appointments because I have to wait on site and want to cut down on the service time. It defeats the point of making this effort when they double book for the same appointment time and service is then as lengthy as if I did not have an appointment. Common complaint with this location.

I have been getting my Mitsubishi Outlander Sport SUV serviced here for about 6 months now. Every time they always have an appointment available and are willing to help me. The staff is professional and courteous. I really value their work and prompt attention to getting my service done as soon as possible. Rodrigo is an awesome mechanic too! He is always working so hard. Everyone is great, really. I recommend FireStone for anyone looking for great car care outside of their dealership!

I wouldn’t recommend this Firestone to anyone, I took my vehicle and requested they inspect everything and fix anything they deemed necessary. I requested they inspect the brakes and check what was leaking. I was very clear and explained I wanted everything fixed. I purchased this vehicle to restore as a pet project. I knew something was leaking due to spots on the driveway. I’ll be very clear the vehicle is a 2008 Pontiac GT G6. The car is in great condition nonetheless I was aware it needed some maintenance. I paid for a complete Vehicle Inspection and report indicated the battery was in good condition, High Mileage oil change, Engine Filter, Alignment Service, Brake Fluid Exchange, Coolant Fluid Exchange W/new Antifreeze, wiper Blades. I was told brakes were fine, no leak was found but needed new tires and it would cost $620.40 for 4 tires. I pick up vehicle pay $549.65 and think to myself I guess the car didn’t need so much maintenance. The next day I go to AutoZone to purchase something and the car doesn’t start. Thank goodness I was at AutoZone, ends up Battery wasn’t good. Why did Firestone report the battery in good condition? AutoZone indicates there hardly isn’t any Coolant in reservoir. What did Firestone do? I just paid for a Coolant Fluid Exchange w/ new Antifreeze. I drive to Miami wake up and see leaks in drive way. I take the car to a local Firestone and discover the Power steering is leaking. What did Firestone do in Vero? How did they not discover that leak? I requested they check what was leaking and was told nothing was leaking. I was also informed front brakes needed to be replaced. Front pad was cracked and disks needed to be replaced due to corrosion. Back brakes were fine. I specifically asked for brakes to be checked in Vero. They claimed they performed a fluid exchange. I was also informed I needed new struts and and shocks, they were the original parts and were totally corroded and were in very poor condition and couldn’t believe the mechanic in Vero didn’t point that out. I had all the labor performed the Firestone in Vero blatantly did not check and I suspect charged me for labor not performed. I also purchased new Tires at Sams Club in Vero before getting on the road to Miami for $478.55. I contacted the store and spoke to someone because I highly doubt the services I paid for were rendered. I was told a Manager would call me but was in a meeting. I explained if he was calling to apologize and not compensate me he should not waste my time. Exactly as I expected Management never called. I will be filling a complaint with BBB and also writing a letter to Firestone Corporate Offices. It doesn’t matter if this location is a Franchise. This location should not be allowed to do business in Vero or anywhere. This business is predatory and places our lives at risk with our automobiles.

Made an appointment and brought my car in that day for a wheel alignment. I had a bad mechanic experience in the past but walking in there was super comfortable, they aligned my four-wheel drive for an amazing price and also gave me a list of recommendations for maintenance my car could use. There was no hassling or pressure in there and now my car drives like its new. I really enjoyed my first experience here and certainly wont be the last.

I needed a battery for my car. So, I decided to go to the nearest Fire Stone. Purchased the battery and went home, 3 blocks away to install it in my car. Battery was flat. So, went back to maybe get one thats ready to go. They gave me another one. It was flat also. Flat; meaning wasnt charged up enough to turn over the motor. Right now on the charger. Why ? This battery was supposed to be ready.

Had an appointment for an oil change Sunday at noon, at 1:15 pm my work had not even started.. when I asked was told that there were like 52 cars before me. I was mad that they wasted my time, had I been told that appointments had no commitment I would have gone to a 10 minute oil change store instead of patiently waiting. — No respect for peoples time not even an apology.

They handle the repair and then map out a history of how to keep your vehicle in great shape; heed their recommendations and you will be doing yourself a mighty huge favor.

Called in the afternoon for particular tires for my car. They only had one in stock but said they could have (3) more delivered within 30 minutes. Firestone also was able to install my tires and do a wheel alignment that same day. Im very impressed by their superior service.

Paid for a lifetime alignment and after getting my car back it continued to drift to the left. They said my toe rods are loose and that’s the reason why it’s still drifting to the left. I ended up taking to a family mechanic who verifies that there are no loose tie rods and that the alignment was off. Such a waste of $200 for a life time alignment.

Came in to get my alignment touched up since it was pulling right and i had visible positive camber. Tech was super rude and couldnt even take 2 seconds to speak back to me after explaining my issue instead he had a attitude and rolled his eyes. Whoever gave me the keys back is the obvious reason why the tech doesnt care either. He was just as rude and nasty as the tech if not more. I dont how a place of business stays open acting like this. I was told its in spec from Toyota thats all that matters even though i explained its clearly pulling right on the road. They didnt take the time to even consider what i was saying or drive to see for themselves. Waste of time and horrible place of business. This is location is a failure.

Staff was very helpful. Was able to get my tires changed with ease. They were promoting a sale on their tires and I was able to get $60 off my total. My husband got his tires changed a day or two before the sale and the gentleman was able to give me and additional $40 off my bill since he wasnt able to give my husband a credit. I will be coming back for future servicing on my car.

Being hundreds of miles from home, we were on vacation in Vero Beach when we noticed a problem with our vehicle. We drove to the Vero Beach Firestone, the day after Christmas and asked for help to diagnosis what we were experiencing. Michael Minetta, Store Manager had a full waiting room and every bay also full, but he agreed to fit us into his schedule. He took extra time and effort to diagnosis the issue which turned out to be a broken sway bar link, etc. Since it was not a safety issue and we had a busy schedule while on vacation, we decided to address it when we returned home with our regular mechanic. We were so impressed with Michael and his staff to not pressure us to fix it then and there and just raise the bill. We were very appreciative of the great care he gave us and extra effort! Thanks again, Michael!

Botched a simple tire change and oil change on my vehicle. The service manager didn’t even so much as apologize. Had to go back twice in the same day for a missing hub cap that hadn’t been secured and fell off. The second time because the mechanic didn’t put the oil cap back on the reservoir. Now I’m missing a hub cap and my engine bay is filled with oil. The back and forth trips took up the entire day. Mechanics are irresponsible and negligent.

I know my car like the back of my hand. I have always check my car after being serviced and every time something goes wrong. Got a wheel alignment and all around my cars hood are these indents like they put tools ontop of my car

Staff was kind, I’m in the process of moving so figured I could block off an hour of the night to get my oil changed. Booked for 5:30 and didn’t leave till 7:45. I feel time management should be taken a little more serious.

They have no clue what they’re doing, my husband brought his car in they fixed something that didn’t need to be fixed and the problem was still there, brought it back and again they fixed something that didn’t need to be fixed and the problem was still there afterwards, they charged us for repairing two things that didn’t need to be fixed and there’s still a problem. Let’s hope they get it right the third time otherwise they should hang it up because they have some serious Issues with their mechanics and their knowledge of fixing cars

This was a very short visit, but I was pleased that the person who waited on me got the job done so fast. I had been at Walmart for hours only to be told that the tire I brought in had no problems. The Ford dealership said it would be three days before they could get to it. I drove into Firestone and within six minutes the nail hole puncture was repaired and I was on my way.

Just ask for Andrew or Jacob if you want the job done right.

She also gave me pricing with and w/o road hazard for each of the three tires. Great advice and no pressure to make a sale which I appreciated. Because if her service, I will probably end up purchasing from them.

I had an appointment for 11:00 to have a tire patched. At 11:45 they finally looked at the tire and said it couldnt be repaired and tried to sell me a new tire for $200. I declined as I saw the nail and knew it could be patched and took it elsewhere to be fixed. Was it because I am a woman or do you do this to everyone??

Outstanding, reliable, honest service. I was in a difficult situation with a broken fuel line connector. Because of the part, Michael(the tech) was not sure the repair would work & if it didnt then I would be stuck until the next day. I put my trust in him and the repair came out great. Now, he could have taken advantage of the situation & run up the bill, happens to women all the time, but he was ethical, honest, charging me only a minimal amount. Firestone is now the only place Ill be taking my car for service & will be referring my friends, family. Thank you Michael!

Location its very comfy to wait inside with my baby while they changed my cars oil. I have been a customer for years and while not perfect they are still a great place for tires in Vero.I honestly never had issues except for the last time.They had a new guy that scratched my rims mounting the tires and balanced the tires wrong.Mike the manager took care of it, no issues anymore.I’m pretty picky and besides that one time I still think they are a great company.

Too long of a wait for new tires.

I went in for a simple oil change. It was my first time there and they told me that they always do a complimentary vehicle inspection for first timers. Upon inspection he told me that I needed $5,000 worth of work to my car. Five. Thousand. Dollars. My car is a 2009 and I take care of it. On his list was a new engine filter. The one I have is permanent and literally says Do not remove. Permanent filter on the top. This tells me that instead of actually looking at my car they gave me a blanket estimate of a ridiculous price, tried to scare me into buying all new brakes/rotors, etc, and expected me to just buy it. I laughed, told them to finish my oil change since the car was already up there and that I would never be back.

I needed an unexpected oil change on a Sunday. This was the only place in Vero Beach opened and willing to squeeze my car in. I only had to wait a little over an hour. I am very pleased with their courteous and helpful attitude!

After using this location for years my significant other and I took our car in to get an oil change and alignment (we have a lifetime alignment contract), as we were leaving for a road trip the next day.When we came to pick the vehicle up we were told that the radiator was rusted out and needed to be replaced. We were quoted almost $1,000, including almost $100 for a coolant flush (the act of removing the radiator drains all of the coolant from the car). The tech walked me out to the car where I could see a leak, though he refused to put it on a lift to further show me the issue. Being as though the car is 10 years old, has only seen service in Florida, and came with an aluminum radiator I had my suspicions concerning the rust.I chose to decline the service and left with the vehicle.Upon further inspection I found no rust and a loose radiator drain plug. ¼ of a turn of the drain plug permanently stopped the leak.Additionally after inspecting the paperwork from the alignment, I that they had taken the alignment from being within specification to being well outside of acceptable boundaries.Our road trip went without a hitch and our rusted out radiator has over 3000 miles on it.TL:DR This Firestone location tried to steal $1000 of my money and screwed up my alignment.

Made an appointment for 2:30 that was never “confirmed”. Was told I would have to wait 2 hours after that for an oil change. That was yesterday. Still haven’t gotten to it.

Alignment guy totally screwed up my brand new set of 35s. Joy rides my truck for 2 hours. Gives it back to my wife and says this is the best He can get it. Still pulled to the right. Tires had so much positive camber it was unreal. Steering wheel jacked up, torsion bars messed with.Do yourself a favor and run away from this place. Espically if you have a lifted truck. They cant align it.Go to St lucie battery and tire.

Im not sure what you folks did to my Mitsubishi 2015 Lancer but it is driving like rocket after the oil change. I have not felt that car drive this good in years. Thanks for properly servicing my car.

Dropped my vehicle off, they were extremely busy. When my car was completed I was unable to get there by closing, I was greatly appreciative that someone waited for me to get there 15 minutes after closing.

They kept me waiting for nearly 3 hours for a radiator hose swap. They charged me for every hour. To sum it up, It cost me over 250$ for them to install a new upper hose. You be the judge.

I paid $1000 for a new air conditioning system. Within a year an AC valve failed. Six months later the compressor leaked and failed. Hmmm, sounds like the system wasnt flushed the first time. Of course it was just out of the warranty period. They may be able to rotate tires, but not actual auto repair.

WELL . . . we arrive no one there to receive vehicles and take the order for service. Waited 15 - 20 mins to speak to anyone. Business was open and some mechanics were working. Then when someone in charge came out of the backroom, he went to bathroom. FINALLY work order was taken and he wanted to overcharge us TWICE. Husband spoke up and finally got that straightened out -- got new tires on.

$750 for a new radiator and hoses and coolant. . Immediately when I got it back, I had no radio, clock, or cruise control. Told me it had nothing to do with them or the work they did. Was like pulling teeth just to get them to look at it to see if it was something they did. And it took them 3 hours to tell me it wasn’t them.

I have been going to Firestone since I moved to Vero Beach five years ago I have never been disappointed they do a wonderful job and their prices are reasonable

Just over a year ago I took my truck to this store. I wanted to find the leak in my AC system. after $400.00 of work, they told me the only way to find the leak is another $400.00 for the dye test. So I allowed them to proceed. After they put the dye in and told me to come back 5 days later the AC worked perfectly (they told me that wouldnt last just until the dye came out and then the AC would get warm again). 5 days later I brought it back so they could find the dye. They claimed that I needed $1200.00 for a compressor and other things to fix the AC system. I told them I wasnt going to put that much into the truck and left.Here we are a year later...living in Florida we use the AC everyday, driving kids to and from school, us back and forth to work (both an hour+ away each way) on average we drive Monday -Friday about 4 hours a day. sat-sun and holidays we drive 3 hours each way to SeaWorld since we have season passes. Needless to say the AC still runs GREAT.This store is a LIEING CHEATING CONARTIST that ONLY want your money. GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE!!!!!!
