Friendliest staff EVER! I’ve never walked into a dentists office and actually had the dentist say hello, shake my hand, and welcome me there, all before I get to the chair. Dr. Goduco was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. I was interested in the PST method for gum restoration and he listened to my concerns, he was sensitive to my concerns, identified the issues, and set a comprehensive plan in motion.Shirley explained all of the insurance coverage and what it would cost me out-of-pocket. Melissa was wonderful about scheduling me although it was a challenge because I live in Wisconsin. You can tell people love working there because the tech was even happy and humming along to the music! GOOD VIBES here!

I should have been posted this 2 years ago.. Dr. Goduco helped me out of a pretty serious infection when I wasnt a current patient of his. I left a message on the answering service and he called me back within 10 minutes telling me to come in first thing the next day and he had a full patient load already. Since that day he has become the only dentist Ill see because that type of care for people is rare these days.. Also he has become a good friend I think as well.

I should have done this review several years ago. Dr. Goduco and his staff have been very sensitive to my extreme dental anxiety. Its a fine line between supportive and accommodating or being overly patronizing. I have never felt uncomfortable because of his actions. Ive been going to Dr. Goduco for the past 20yrs. He is the best around. I had a difficult root canal done this morning, and I was out within two hours and feeling Great.

Dr. Goduco and staff check all the boxes. From making sure you are comfortable and pain-free during procedures (they do just about everything in office, which is fantastic) to helping you understand your insurance/timing/payment options for when that crown just isn’t in the budget...great people providing great service.

I seriously love this place! I was recommended by a friend and called to set up an appointment. They got me in as fast as possible and I had almost zero wait time before I saw the dentist. Dr Goduco was hysterical, kind and understanding. I am extremely terrified of the dentist from trauma when I was a child and he made me feel completely at ease. He validated my pain and concerns and worked with me to set up a reasonable, affordable and efficient game plan. He did whatever he could to make sure I was scheduled promptly and even told me they’d fit me in whenever worked for me. I felt extremely comfortable and understood by his entire staff. Heather, Jen and the dental receptionist were laid back and so funny as well. My mind was put at ease when it came to the amount of discomfort I could possibly experience during my procedure and no one tried to push unnecessary procedures or product. The doctor was quick to have prescriptions written up for me in the meantime and I felt confident in his experience and expertise. I would absolutely recommend this office to anyone!

Quoted extremely high prices for work, when I told him and the staff, no I wasn’t going to do that, he called his staff into the next room and yelled at them at how valuable his time was! Went to another dentist only to have to have to have my bridge redone, will not go back to this office!

If you dont like going to your current dentist, give Goduco Smiles a try- they completely changed my attitude about dental visits.I used to be very uncomfortable with dentists (discomfort, anxiety, and being judged/lectured). I first came to Goduco Smiles after not seeing a dentist in seven or eight years. I was in severe pain and googled dentists that will sedate. They got me in there that day and have been taking care of me ever since. Their staff is friendly, comforting, understanding, and upbeat and it is all truly genuine. I have actually gotten comfortable enough to where they can do light work (fillings) without putting me all the way under!

Dr. Goduco listened to me and didn’t do anything unnecessary. And helped me out tremendously! Thank you so very much! And for getting me in right by away! Cannot wait to go back for a cleaning!! Which, I am very much not a “let’s go to the dentist” kind of girl! That’s saying a lot!

Let me just start by saying I was SO afraid of dentists before I started seeing Dr. Goduco. I probably hadn’t gone to see one in over 10 years because of previous bad experiences.I initially went in to get my wisdom teeth extracted after finally not being able to handle the pain and Doc made the process so painless and quick that I didn’t even know what hit me! After having such a good experience the first time I continued coming in for regular cleanings and even did Invisalign to straighten this smile that made me so self conscious my whole adult life.We just recently did some gum contouring as well and I gotta say I love my smile after everything Doc has done for me! I’ve been seeing him for a couple years now and recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist!Oh and I can’t forget to mention how hysterical, fun and friendly the whole staff is. Never a dull moment with them and dare I say they actually make every visit fun? I highly, HIGHLY recommend them!

Best dentist I’ve been to. Staff is super sweet, as well as Dr.Goduco! He pulled out all 4 of my wisdom teeth with me sedated. Didn’t feel a thing, woke up with a better feeling and no pain in my mouth. Can’t thank you all enough!

The hygienist there was amazing, but have had issues with the crown that was put in since I got it. I have gone elsewhere and feel that was a good decision for me. Perhaps a good place for cosmetic dentistry.

Great dentist for anyone around Vernon Hills. Dr. Goduco and his staff are always so friendly. When my wife or I go there its always a nice visit. Im fine with dentists, but my wife gets dental anxiety so Dr. Goducos sedation dentistry has been perfect for her. Weve recommended to friends and theyve thanked us.

Goduco is fantastic. A true one stop shop. As one who has had extensive dental work done and historically had anxiety about going to the dentist, Goduco is perfect for me. His staff is friendly and knowledgeable, his abilities are only exceeded by his great personality, which almost makes going to the dentist enjoyable. Whether its a crown, implant, root canal, or dental appliance for sleep apnea, Goduco has the knowledge and skills to get you back on track. I was so impressed one year that I even sent the office a thank you fruit basket.

Dr. Goduco is the man! HIs team of experts do a really great job making sure you are comfortable and provide a great service. Im not a fan of going to the dentist, but I found this place and have been going for years now. I get dental anxiety to say the least, but I expressed my anxiety with Dr. Goduco, Regina & Shirley and they went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and relaxed and really explained everything that they would do before they did it. I cant recommend this place enough especially for those that cant handle going to the dentist.

Dr. Goduco is the best doctor I have ever been too. It all started back in April I had a locked jaw, but never had issues before with my jaw. I had suffered with headaches that turned into migraines as I got older, fatigue, ear pain, and other symptoms. After my jaw locked the ER informed me I had to see a specialist for TMJ because of a possible dislocation. I had never heard of tmj before having this issue. I began calling numbers of many doctors for over an hour and no one wanted to help me, all I would get is appointments months away. I needed to be seen immediately. No one else seemed to care until I called Dr. Goduco’s office I was given an appointment right away and a time that worked for me. They took me seriously and help me immediately which I had never had before. They have great hours that work with many schedules. I am sooo thankful to them for seeing me right away and being so kind and helpful. Dr. Goduco helped me immediately ordered my splint as fast as possible and began my treatment for my TMJ. He is also the one that discovered I had a problem with my neck and recommended me to a chiropractor to help. Since seeing Dr. Goduco my lifestyle has improved significantly. I have had a huge decrease in my migraines and neck pain. Dr. Goduco is extremely kind, intelligent, cares about his patients, and other doctors should be more like him. Everyone in his office is wonderful as well, extremely friendly, always helpful, and they make a great team. I am extremely thankful to Dr. Goduco for helping me so much and I cannot thank him enough. I am thankful to everyone in his office as well they have helped me through this hard time and I cannot thank them enough.

Dr. Goduco diagnosed me with TMJ and helped me get rid of debilitating migraines and also get off all my migraine medications, which has provided me with a better quality of life. My children have the most beautiful smiles based on the perfectionist personality that this dentist has. Sincerely, this dentist has changed our lives. I know that sounds silly, but it is true. My sons adult teeth wouldnt come in and instead of pulling teeth, he expanded his bite gently and everything seemed to fall into place. My daughter would have had migraines like me as she got older, but he was able to correct it before it started. They staff were most helpful with trying to get us in with our crazy schedules. Love this place!

I had braces when I was younger, I never wore my retainers, I wouldnt smile showing my teeth for pictures. I came to see Dr.Goduco to fix my smile and he suggested Invisalign, for someone who has to work with talking to people on a daily basis I was sooo happy and thrilled that I could fix my teeth without having metal show everytime I talked! One of the best one stop shops in the lake county area :))

Horrible dentist if I could zero star him I would have... Totally uncaring no compassion at all. First off he was yelling at his nurses the whole time and I know he wasnt yelling toward me but who wants to listen to a grown man throw a temper tantrum. Then I had to go back for a second tooth pulled and I was short on money until I got paid the following week bC of my wedding I was short on money.. I was in really bad pain so I called to get started on the anti biotics u til the next week when I got paid then I could just get it pulled when I got paid but at least wouldnt b in pain the whole time. So my last dentist did that for me a few times bC I needed alot of work done. This guy was totally unwilling to help out even tho I was in horrible pain and he had all my x-rays and did an exam two weeks beforeand he even noted that i was going to need that done very soon. So he wouldnt do anything unless I got another exam done for 100 bucks plus the x-ray. I dont know if its bC hes been doing it to long and just doesnt care anymore but what a jerk needless to say I went somewhere else for dental care and they are great I wouldnt recommend this ace to my worst enemy. The receptionist and assistants there r great but the dentist is just a jerk.

Wife made appointment for cleaning. They quoted me a high figure and I should have walked out. Hygenist was rough and they charged me $2048. I was supposed to go back but had kidney failure and resulting prosectamy that year. I should have done something about this sooner. When I rated them on Yelp, they responded they would never charge that for cleaning, when I produced bill they no longer responded. Very disappointed in them.

I have been to quite a few dentists over the years because ive never been that happy with my cleanings...that is, until i went to dr. goducos office. not only was his staff super friendly and welcoming, but, more importantly, my teeth have never felt more fresh, and for lack of a better word, clean, after my appointment. i will definitely be going back.
