I showed up at Mikes Auto Repair hoping to talk to the previous owner, and found out they had sold the business. I had had my cars serviced by Mikes for a decade. I had never trusted and appreciated a car shop like them! The technicians are outstanding and they have helped me keep my 1998 Honda CRV running like knew even after 270,000 miles. But I am not disappointed in the least that the business has changed owners at this point. Otto at the front desk was super friendly and helpful right away. All the techs are the same and the place feels just as friendly and helpful as before. I brought my car in today thinking that I may need to rebuild my transmission, wondering even if I was about to say goodbye to my good car of 20 years and many adventures. Otto and Austin (a mechanic that has worked on my car in the past) went into troubleshooting mode right away and 10 minutes later I was driving away with my transmission fixed (was just missing fluid). They didnt charge me a cent for it! I am glad that I still have an excellent car shop in town!

This is the second times I have brought my vehicle into this shop. The first time, I remember there was a punctuality problem by couple of days, but this time, the shop kept my vehicle for over three weeks. I was supposed to take the vehicle for a camping trip and It wasnt done on time. I was out money for car rental because they couldnt fix the vehicle on time. Wish they talk less and work more instead. Vitro can talk my ears off. I dont need to know every details because frankly, I will never be a mechanic. I wish he would just go do the work instead.The only reason I have to bring it in to Mikes shop is because Loebstel moved. Loebstel was excellent and punctual. I would stay away from Mikes unless you dont mind using their shop as a parking garage.

Outstanding customer service and great work ethic. Austin and Ado are genuine guys that get the job done precise and quick. They are extremely friendly as well. I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else after finding Mike’s. Highly recommended.

Had work done today. Not my first time or my last taking vehicles here.Honest and friendly staff. Really good people. Quickly looked at my vehicle and gave me a run down on labor and parts costs. Explained everything so that even a lumix like myself could understand.Potentially was looking at a bad Head Gasket. Thankfully was the Thermostat. Left smiling.

Another fabulous job at mikes auto repair. They are so accommodating and brilliantly amazing. My daughters cars are always having some sort of issue and no matter what gets thrown their way, Austin is able to fix it in an amazing amount of time-AND the problem gets fixed. I never have to go back for the same problem-like I have with other repair shops. If you want the job done right, you need to come here!!! I can’t say enough of how wonderful everyone is:)))

2-bad experiences, 3-okay experiencesMost recently requested an evaluation on a noise and oil leak. I simply wanted an estimate of repairs to decide whether or not to repair the car or part it out, type of thing. They didnt call with estimate or follow my directions. They just repaired the car! Did a top notch job and charged a top-notch price. way more than I was wanting sink into that car. They simply did not give me the option to not repair like I requested in writing on the key envelope. Im disappointed and will not go back. I dont need a mechanic to feely reach that deep into my wallet!The previous disappointment was when they kept my other car for 3-days only to wait for me to call so they could tell me that did not or could not fix it. They hadnt even touched it! Left it in the parking lot for 3-days. Very disappointed, and not going back!

Weve gone to Mikes Auto Repair for several years, and are so impressed with their honesty, integrity and customer care. They give us realistic options for each repair. We have recommended this shop to many people, and everyone has been happy with them. Now all of our extended family goes to Mikes for their car repairs and oil changes.

I traveled from the Phoenix area and had a check engine light come on. They checked it out for me in a timely manner and explained exactly what was going on. It wasnt an issue that needed to be fixed right away and they were very honest about it! They did not charge me. They were GREAT!

I bring my company van here for maintenance and repairs and they always do a great job. Most recently, I had a check engine light and it turned out it was a part that had been previously replaced and Dustin did the whole job again free of charge (under warranty). My check engine light came on while driving on a Monday afternoon, and they had my truck back to me the next day. Quoted a fair price, actually came in under their estimate (cant remember that ever happening before) and the young man running the place was polite and friendly. Im not hoping my truck breaks down anytime soon, but when it does I will bring it here again without hesitation.

Weve been taking our Toyotas to Mikes for more than 25 years and they have always done us right. Its under new ownership now and still has the same mechanic of many years, who is rock solid. The new owner is very nice and has been exceptionally accommodating with the complexities of a recent collision. Highly recommend this place!

Yet again Mikes correctly diagnosed my auto issue and provided an affordable solution. Appreciate how they take the time to figure out whats actually wrong versus just guessing and charging us for unneeded repairs. Both times weve used them in the last few years they have done great work. Im now going to start using them for our oil changes too because their price is fair and Id really rather no one else touch my vehicle but Mikes!

I went to Mikes with my mothers car via the good reviews on google. I wasnt disappointed.I spoke with Dustin (Mikes son) and he explained things (even drew a pic) in a way that was understandable to someone who knows nothing about cars (except they drain my wallet). He said he would call before any repairs were done and did and also explained what would be done. The prices seem reasonable in todays market. I even left my car there for a few days as I was on my way out of town and it wasnt an issue. Dustin seems like a straight shooter and I would give him by business again and recommend him to others.BTW, Dustin is also a good singer/song writer, so if you like a little rock n rock, ask for his CD. Its most definitely worth a listen.

I called the shop regarding an issue with all three of my brake lights and spoke to Dustin. When I arrived to have him take a look, he came right out, found the problem after a few minutes of looking and fixed it for free. Luckily my car issue wasnt a serious one this time, but I would have no problem returning to Mikes Auto Repair should my car need more major repair in the future. I very much appreciated how straight forward and just plain ol nice Dustin was - thank you!

They really find a way to make things work for your schedule. I had to go back for something not attached fully but they corrected it. The price seems to fit the work from my experience.

First off, I would like to say that every person I spoke to was respectful.But they failed terribly with diagnosing/fixing my front suspension/ steering issues. Let alone the few parts that were installed. Had to be adjusted and the half cup of grease around each of the zerk fittings/boots showed how amateur the mechanic is.My jeep actually came out worse than when I brought it in.I spoke with the Manager?..immediately following the work. He offered me free labor when expressing the extensive work that still needed to be done and the amateur work...(I got another shop to do an inspection.)They could have made a lot more money on the job too......I passed on free labor. My children and my life mean more

I was having issues with my car overheating driving from SE Portland back to Vancouver. Was not getting any better. I had exhausted all of the things I could find. I had replaced sensors, fans, switches, still nothing. I took it into Mikes, they did a full diagnostic. Had a leak in the middle of the radiator. Replaced it. No issues since. They told me everything they needed to do before they did it. Did not talk down to me because I am female. I have had that happen ALOT. Would definately recommend them to my friends.
