I am writing this review on behalf of my in-laws. They used Mackins for an evaluation of their car after an accident and they received outstanding customer service. Alex immediately welcomed them and got right to checking their vehicle out. His professionalism and sense of urgency was so wonderful and made them feel that things were going to get taken care of. This place is amazing. After my accident it was so hard to find a good and trustworthy auto body shop that was not just going to BS you but I am glad that this place was recommended to me. When I called Alex was so helpful and explained the process to me of what they needed to do as well as time lines that it could be done. When I came to drop my highlander off Alex did a full inspection including a safety one and told me what needed to fixed. Through the process we received text messages and phone calls letting us know what was happening. I also had the pleasure of meeting the manager Scott, who was professional and helpful explaining when things came up and it felt like he kept a close eye on everything. He also took the time to help us chose a hitch which we were very excited to get. I did not think that after an accident getting my car fixed would be so easy and professional. I couldnt recommend Scott and his team more if you need your car fixed. We will be coming to this place for future needs for our vehicles.

My parents Doug and Jan Davis brought their Acura MDX in to be evaluated after an accident and the customer service here at Mackins was amazing. This place is a joke. After receiving a thorough estimate for body work, they pulled a bait and switch. Took the vehicle apart then demanded another $1400 for hidden damage and replacement of parts that werent even near the damage. By that time they already started, and know theyve got an advantage over you. Maybe theyre used to just inflating bids for insurance companies? But I wasnt happy with their obvious, made up, junk fees and supposed costs. Go elsewhere!

The quality of service was excellent. They had all the info from my insurance company already prepared. They inspected the damage to my vehicle and provided me with a written estimate. My vehicle repair was completed before the date promised. The vehicle repair was perfect, and my car had been handwashed and looked brand new. I would highly recommend.

Absolutely the BEST place to go for body/paint repair. Got side swiped in our truck and the shop took care of everything. Worked with the insurance to make sure everything was covered in the claim. Communicated the entire time, provided progress updates, always professional. Office was clean and organized. Everyone was working on something, nobody just sitting on their phone. Awards on the walls and shop full of repairs in progress, these guys are in demand! Alex took careful inventory of our rig and wrote up the estimate on the spot. Even called the insurance to add additional details the agent missed. After the initial repair there was an issue with the paint and the shop made time for us to come in right away, do an evaluation, and get us in asap for a full repaint under warranty.Bottom line, if you have the option to go to Mackins then jump on it.

My truck got tagged last night and I stopped in after my buddy referred them to get a quote. The fellas didnt waste time and helped me out right away to get it cleaned up.

The employees were all very professional. They were right on it and explained everything about my situation. I would use them again and would recommend them to anybody that needed a good body shop.

My frontier required well over 10k in repairs, it took a couple of weeks more than I thought but she was was banged up good. & I give Mackins my highest recommendation. 5 🌟.

Mackins took great care of my car and the staff was polite and helpful. My car looks like new.

Alex is a regular con man there. Dishonest quotes. They later try to double the price with obvious made up charges.

I received excellent service at the Mackins on Hwy 99 in Vancouver. The service writers listen well and go out of their way to help you. The repairs on my car were done perfectly. I cant even tell they ever had the front bumper assembly off of our Mustang! If I should ever need repair work done again, I would not hesitate to take my car back there!

Alexs customer service is second to none. He went above and beyond in answering my questions and was very friendly and knowledgeable. Overall VERY impressed with this company and would highly recommend.

Worked with Scott to get our Lexus repaired. It took a little longer than I expected but the quality of the work performed was great. Perfect paint blend and they covered every possibility for hidden damage. Communication was good. Opted for text messages and I received brief updates on progress every few days. Incredibly nice people and professional. Scott was awesome and he answered all my questions completely each time. If he didn’t know he found the answer quickly. I will use Mackin’s again in the future and recommend them to friends.

I had a great experience getting my bumper replaced here. The guys were attentive and courteous. They were extremely responsive and finished the work ahead of schedule, updating me along the way. They did impeccable work, I can’t tell anything was ever wrong. The new paint matches perfectly, even though my van is 10 years old. They even cleaned my car, inside and out. I would highly recommend them and go again.

Very responsive about the process as they were working on my car after an accident. Communication was great, they completed when they said they would and it looks great. They also went “above and beyond” and did some inside detail cleaning that was sorely needed! I would highly recommend them!

The work required to repair my truck was extensive. The work performed was well done and looks great. I would give five stars except it took longer to complete than expeted. This was due to problems getting the correct parts from the manufacturer.

Had Mackins fix passenger bedside and tailgate on my 2007 Dodge Ram. They both had dents and scratches from branches amd debris hitting them in a windstorm. Scratches and dents are gone and paint looks great.Scott Passer gave me great customer service.Hopefully, I can avoid another body shop visit would be more than willing to use Mackins again.

Wasn’t sure what I was in for. 50 years old and first time someone rammed me from behind. Mackin’s Salmon Creek Washington was nails. Professional, courteous, informative, efficient and my truck looks better than it did pre fender bender.

I had my Ram truck tailgate repaired and painted and Mackins did a great job at a very reasonable price. They turned the job in 3 working days and I couldnt be happier with their service and quality of workmanship.

THEY REALLY CARE - My husband brought his company vehicle in to be looked at after being rear ended and our initial experience was less than satisfactory. As a business owner myself in customer service, I ask that people let me know if my guys arent providing excellent customer service and I will always address it and make sure they do. I informed Mackins of the experience that morning and the response from not only Andrew, the Manager of this location but the OWNER as well? MIND BLOWN! Customer service IS at the top of their list and they expect their employees to have the same mind set and they immediately reached out to us, in person and email & apologized on behalf of their employee and I am confident if we were to return, we would NOT have that same unsatisfactory experience again. They addressed it, they made me feel (and know) that we were important to them and their company and I believe they were truly sorry for how their employee behaved that day. If we are ever in need of auto body work again - we will be going back to Mackins for sure.

This place DOES QUALITY WORK.

I brought my vehicle to Mackins in Hazel Dale, Washington. I was very hesitant to use them but I was assure they would take care of “gray areas.” They replaced my rear bumper cover which was nice but there was a spot where it was not flush with the rear quarter panel. The explanation was “well it’s because of the way the bumper is made.” BULLS*** when I asked to see the old/damaged bumper they said “we thru it away!” By law you have to keep damaged parts for at least 30 days. No matter if it’s under insurance or if it’s out of pocket. So am I even sure that my “new” bumper isn’t my old one? NO!! They told me my front bumper was aftermarket but how could they tell me that if they didn’t take the whole bumper off!? There are scratches on my driver side door, on the estimate they were going to buff them out. I bet you can guess, the scratches are still there and I was told that they couldn’t fix it because they say it was painted before which wasn’t “original paint.” Could you tell me how you know this? Or is it just some sly trick you try on all your customers to see if they will believe you. I want proof of all the things your telling me, you gave the proof on 1 panel but what about the rest? I was told you would take both bumpers off to assess the damage but the story changed when I went to pick it up. So to answer your question, NO, I’m not satisfied with the “repair” you did on my vehicle, or whatever it is Mackins thinks they did for my car.UPDATE: I got a call from the area manager Chris and he wanted me to come down to the auto body shop. I went and he buffed our the scratches that I was concerned about. He also fixed my rear bumper so that it fits the right way. Thank you very much Chris for your patience and going the extra mile for your customers!

If you bring an older car in, that has a salvage title, beware they wont work on it. The first customer service person took photos, and made a copy of the insurance estimate. He said it would be able to be worked on in about three weeks. When I arrived, three weeks later, photos and insurance estimate was missing. Then I was told that the car be a totaled, loss, and they dont work on salvage title cars; I could try to sell it over Craigslist. If we decided to have it taken in their garage, theyd charge us for putting it back together if we were to take it home, after the insurance adjuster came to the garage. And the accident was not my fault. I took it to Moda instead, they were very professional!

Was sent here on recommendation of insurance. One delay after another. Called to see if my truck was out of paint and ready to be picked up to have them tell me they wrecked it. Some idiot backed it Into a pole. Mackin wasnt even gonna call me. I drove down there saw the damage. They said they would repair but it will take them another 2 weeks to fix Their mistake. Guy was a jerk. My wife asked him could he at least personally guarantee they would take care of it and we would have it back at that time. He actually told her no. What kind of customer service is that? Yeah Im sorry maam we did more damage to the truck then you came in with but we will try to get to it when we can. Then proceeded to tell us he has other cars to finish that will make him profit so fixing his mistake is low on the list. We took it to another shop. They had mackins mistake fixed in record time AND had to remount bumber that was placed inccorectly AND didnt do any more damage. Seriously this man was a piece of work. Hopefully he doesnt have a job there anymore. Good luck to you all should you choose to use them for repairs
