I initially heard about DJ’s automotive through my brother who is a gear head himself. I asked for a good, reliable, affordable shop that could potentially replace an engine in an Envoy. The one and Only Shop that he told me to get ahold of was DJ’s. I called Daniel and set up a scheduled time to drop off the motor and car.After they removed the old engine, and began replacing parts on the new (to me) motor, they realized that I was sold the wrong engine for my vehicle. This was on a Thursday evening. I picked the new motor up from DJ’s, took it back to the place I bought it from and replaced it with the “right” motor. I dropped the new motor off that very same day (Friday). I got a call on Tuesday letting me know that it was done. Throughout the process, Daniel would call me with questions or upgrades that needed to be done to the engine. Everything was priced amazingly well. I would 100% recommend DJ’s Automotive to anyone.Daniel and Luis are a great team that work amazingly well together. They know their stuff!If your looking for an LS build to give you some power, these guys are the ones to go to. The best part of my cars transmission failing was finding Daniel and Luis!!! Not only did my transmission fail, but my car underwent catastrophic mice damage, leading to other terrible problems. Most mechanics would have tried to fix it by putting a bandage on one thing, until another issue would transpire. Daniel went through my whole car and methodically, painstakingly repaired all the damage and extensively tested it to ensure I wouldnt have any issues on the road.To say Im extremely satisfied with the services provided is a serious understatement. Daniel is AMAZING and looked out for my like I was a friend or family member. I have never trusted a mechanic ever before... I even avoid going to Jiffy Lube to get my oil changed because I always feel taken advantage of. I will never go anywhere else for my automotive needs, and I hope he never retires! AMAZING!

They we very detailed orientated in my build and made my whole experience worth the effort in recovering My 2014 GMC Sierras 6.2 Liter. Most honest and trustworthy mechanic in Vancouver. Will not go anywhere else. Weve used DJs Automotive 3 to 4 times now and each time we receive honest recommendations for the repair we need. This time brought our old truck in for a terrible squeaking noise. Instead of being told we needed repairs that we didnt, was told that it was just metal on metal from our bumper due to a wreck we had prior. Would recommend to anyone.

I know I surely will.The great experience my spouse and I shared these last few months when our vehicles head gasket let go and Daniel told us to have her towed in that same day has cemented his shop in my mind as my go-to for any automotive customization, repair or service work. Once he had an opportunity to diagnose the cause and extent of the failure he promptly called my spouse, informed her of his findings and delivered her a verbal quote for what he imagined it would cost us to have his shop replace the engine. After placing a deposit with him we awaited the arrival of the necessary parts and the subsequent replacement of the engine. Much earlier than I had anticipated my spouse received a call from Daniel informing her that the work was complete and that we could take delivery of the vehicle at our convenience.Im still driving this vehicle and plan to bring it back to DJs Automotive in about 500 miles for regular scheduled maintenance. The vehicle runs great.

The guys at this shop are HONEST! it is the ONLY place I will take my car to get worked on. I have tried other shops before this, only to be lied to and ripped off.

I came to DJ’s in October & I needed a whole new engine for my car. I was skeptical at first due to previous mechanics screwing me over. But this shop was recommended by a friend & so i tried it out. He was very reasonably priced, super easy to talk with, & didn’t try to rip me off. I now go to him for everything from oil changes to my current AC problems. he’s definitely my favorite mechanic i’ve ever used & i’ll never go back.

Fantastic experience. Initially I went in because my check engine light went on, and I expected the worst. Jack checked and said it was an O2 sensor, and nothing that needed to be fixed immediately. I had my timing belt mechanism and front brakes replaced, and the cost was extremely reasonable. I find both Jack and Dan to be highly skilled, professional, and honest. Extremely straightforward...no hype...I feel lucky beyond belief to have found them! I have referred several people to DJs Automotive, and their experiences have all been extremely positive.

I havent had any work done here as yet, but i am leaving a five star review based on their honesty. Jack, was the service person i talked to about a quote i received from Les Swab for new shocks and struts. i went into them primarily due to rubbing noises in the front when i braked. when i got done, i had a $600 quote telling me what i needed. he looked at my car-for free; and assessed that i didnt need shocks and struts and i made an appointment to look at my front routers next week. there is no doubt in my mind that ANY work that i may need on my car from here on out-i will have them do it.
