I lived at the Park at Mill Plain for 4 years. I moved because I needed more space for my dogs and my child. The office team were always super helpful and very responsive. I never had to wait long to get things fixed. My current property management company could learn a few things from these folks :)The only downfall was the apartment walls were really thin, so any kind of movement above me I could hear. As long as you were on the same schedule as your neighbors above you, it wasnt too bad.
We love living here. We use our pool all the time. The location is great too.
Best apartment . Great staff. Shout out to Joseph the assistant manager he is flexible and understanding fellas. I will highly recommend this place to any one that is looking to rent in Vancouver.
Great apartments for the price, maintenance and office staff are both very quick to respond and friendly!
Its hard to find good customer service from apartment complexes it seems, but here the leasing staff is always more than happy to answer any questions or help with issues that might arise. I particularly appreciated the help, clarity, and customer service I received from Alex Olsen long after I moved in. Worth the move!
Slightly older apartments, but maintenance is great. I love having a county park in my backyard, 2 pools, 2 hottubs and outdoor courts. The kiddy playground is nothing special, but Vancouver has a ton of parks.I chose the Park 2 yrs ago bc their grounds are expansive, gorgeous, and well-kept.The staff are so lovely, you couldnt ask for nicer people. Maintenance requests are answered promptly by kind folks. I am very happy here.
We just moved here and the staff is amazing and very responsive. Highly recommend renting here!
It’s not an actual parkEdit: thanks for the reply, it makes sense... changed to 5 stars
This is the first apartment I’ve lived in and it has been a wonderful experience. Everyone in the leasing office is readily available and Amanda has been nothing short of amazing! All questions I have had (the million of them) have always been answered on the spot or very promptly. Everything we’ve needed replaced or fixed have happened very quickly and appropriately. I have had no issues the other reviewers speak of. I’ve had no problems with spiders or mold, but, I clean regularly to ensure these do not occur. Yes, I can hear my upstairs neighbors occasionally, however the sound is minimal and it is expected as they are right above you. Parking is always tough everywhere, but the team does a good job at making sure spots are available for their tenants. I’m happy we chose to move into The Park, it’s been fun!
My partner and I just recently began looking for a new place to live and Sonia from the leasing office made the experience absolutely incredible! She was honest about everything, and worked incredibly hard to make my partner and I feel at ease with making the commitment of a 12 month lease. Absolutely recommend working with Sonia if you are looking to move!
This place is awesome :) The Price is Right! One of the cheaper apartment complexes in the Vancouver area, but with a perfect location and helpful staff, I love living here! Its super close to a variety of grocery stores, as well as Taco Bell 😁, but its also away from the full commotion of Mill plain. The staff are always cheerful and so willing to help out and never fail to brighten my day 😊
Divorced in 2018. Informed The Park apartments. Gave my 20 day notice. Was informed that the ex was staying in the apartment but was assured I would be removed. Since then I’ve gotten another apartment for 9 months. Left there on good term then moved in with my new wife. Today I was informed that the ex did not sign to agree to have me removed so they kept me on the lease. The lease ended and the ex let it default to month to month. I go down to the park apartments asking why I’m still listed as a resident a year later and I’m informed that unless the ex signs to have me removed then they are keeping me in the lease. Also I was warned that any non payments of rent or pets fees will go against my credit. And the ex has 3 pets and one of them is a pit bull. The policy there is 2 pets and no pit bulls.I am going to have to seek out a lawyer. My advice? Do not rent here with someone. If they divorce you, your identity and credit can still be used by then!
Hi my new husband and I toured the place on Tuesday, with Alex. Alex was wonderful and did everything right as far as I was concerned. The Park did not have anymore of the apts we wanted. 2 days later one came available and he contacted us. We also received a warm letter from Sonia. Overall I am very impressed and hope we have the opportunity to actually live there. I feel the management has an exceptional team working there and should be proud at the level of customer service that they provided us. WTG!!!💯
As an employee of this company for 2 years now, I will have to say this is a fantastic place to work. We have a great group of people and are like family. I have gotten to know quite a few of the residents and everyone is very friendly. We hope we are making everyone happy with a great experience living here.
Amanda and the team truly care. Everything we’ve needed fixed has been fixed and all questions we’ve had have all been answered. Property is kept up nicely. If you clean your place, the negative reviews posted below would not be an issue.
My daughter and her roommate loved living here. Quite, safe, and reasonable move in costs. If they needed any help the maintenance was right on top of it. And the other tenants were nice.
Nice little park for all ages.
My fiance and I have been here for over a year in a 1 bedroom and moving in a few weeks to a two bedroom and absolutely love it here. Any issues have been rectified quickly and efficiently and the office staff is exceptional. Its quiet and convenient to my work and the area is perfect for our needs. Have been beyond happy here
Place is pretty nice, some concerns with hot water in bathroom sink, well maintained, it is a good place
DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!!!If I could give less than one star, I would. Terrible office staff. No communication. Called maintenance several times for mold growing in my dishwasher from right when we moved in until we moved out. They say to run the disposal and dishwasher at the same time HOWEVER I have a newborn baby and don’t appreciate MOLD GROWING IN MY PLACE OF LIVING WITH A BABY. AWFUL.Front desk staff never answers calls, they aren’t even here so I can pick up my package and FINALLY drop off my keys and LEAVE. I am so shocked with how terribly we have been treated.TERRIBLE.TERRIBLE.Thank god I never have to deal with these people again.
Save yourself a headache and rent somewhere else. For a somewhat newer complex and considering the price you pay it has a rundown feel on the inside. Dated appliances, partially working thermostat, ect. The floors creak worse than any other apartment Ive lived in, hands down. Nothing like having to work at 5am only to be woken up every 45 minutes by kids running around all night. Ive actually had to adjust my work schedule to work nights now, Imagine having to work nights because youre a) going to be up regardless b) cant sleep when you want to at your own home. Be sure to walk one with someone living above before you decide to pull the trigger. When we initially walked the apartment it had no one living above at that time and I had just come from a complex being on the ground floor so I felt confident that I could handle another upstairs neighbor. Yeah, I was wrong.
We have been with NALS for almost 5 years. We just resigned and are upgrading to a bigger unit. The staff has been ABSOLUTELY a pleasure to work with. I have NEVER found that before. I love that they are not only leasing agents and managers, but friends! 💜 And Coffee in the Clubhouse/ Office?? Yes!! Go and get your K-cup on!!!
Weve just renewed our lease and are looking forward to a 4th fabulous year at The Park! Very friendly staff and management, a beautiful complex, and an extremely walkable area.
Great community and great staff. Very helpful! I love living here!
Amanda and the team here are GREAT! Always have the tenants best interest in mind and help out so much.
Their apartments are complete trash. Look nice, but everything is made of the cheapest possible materials. Old broken dryer that they refuse to fix/replace. The fan above my stove does nothing but push the smoke/steam around the apartment. Bathroom fan is the same. Good thing I pay more than 1/2 my income to live here. ***update*** they have “serviced” my dryer 4 times, and it still does not dry clothes. I’m sure they have no empathy at all. Its demoralizing to come home after working my butt off to afford living, to have wet clothes in the dreyer. Only to have my landlord gaslight me like I’m crazy or I don’t know how to operate a dryer. Will not be renewing my lease.
Oh I will share I will share everything you the public needs to know about my experience at this MILL PLAIN APARTMENT
Beautiful community with well kept grounds! The staff is awesome and very helpful!
I just moved to this area 2 weeks ago, and although it is my first time living in an apartment, I would say so far living here has been a pleasant & enjoyable experience. The office staff has been extremely courteous & helpful to me. With several hundred apartments in this complex, I can understand that some tenants have issues, but my experience so far has been one of a quiet & well maintained neighborhood. Yes, it is on the expensive side, but there are lots of amenities. Yes, there could be better lighting in the bedrooms, but a few well placed lamps takes care of that issue. I wish there was lighting above the washer & dryer, but once again, a small clamp on electric lamp solves that problem! It has been totally quiet at night. Theres noise in the daytime sometimes, with ground workers outside, but once again, thats to be expected if you want a well maintained complex. I know lots of people have dogs, but I have yet to hear one bark and cause a disturbance. My apartment is beautiful and spacious, with an abundant amount of closet space! The few issues I had with problems in my apartment were fixed almost immediately after I brought it to the managements attention. The maintenance man who came to fix those things was friendly, thorough & efficient. I even received a follow up call the next day from management to see if everything had been fixed to my satisfaction & to see if there was anything else they could do for me. It would be helpful if there were more parking spots, or if everyone had their own designated spot. If you are gone in the evening, when you return there can be absolutely nowhere to park,, and you have to go out of the apartment complex and park on the street. But all in all, so far my short term experience here is very positive!!
Really nice apartments, reasonably priced, good maintenance.
I have lived at several different apartments, but The Park is the nicest. Been here for several years and plan to stay for several more.
If you move in to these apartments be prepared for a rough time when you move out. When we moved in everything was fine. They said my rental history was so good we didnt have to pay a deposit, great. Well when we moved out we made sure that apartment was spotless we even fixed things that they continually ignored and wouldnt fix like broke towel racks that were loose since we moved in and even the carpet was a mess to begin with. So when we did our final walk through the apartment manager said everything was perfect. Here we are almost a year later since we moved and I receive a call from a collection agency that we have unpaid fee of $635 for pet damages, funny thing? WE NEVER HAD A PET! So now Im being forced to deal with a debt collector and my rental records is being damaged as well. I called the apartments and no one could give me information. They didnt know why they didnt contact me or anything. Supposedly my file is with collections and not them. Now I have to deal with all this bs and the apartments say its out of their hands. My biggest issue is we had to deal with water damage and MOLD for over three months in the apartment and no one would do a damn thing about it. Even when I complained and told them that my brother is allergic to mold. The roof of the master bedroom and the second bedroom were basically falling apart from all the water damage. Finally after three or so months they did an inspection and asked what it was about! I complained and they finally fixed it. But now Im in collections for pet damages? I should have taken them to court for the roof damage and not caring at the fact that someone in the house was allergic to all the mold around the apartment and now wont even help me deal with this collection. So if I were you I would look for a different place to live. Theyre irresponsible and dont care to fix things in a timely matter. So now Im being denied for an apartment that I need to be moved into in less than two weeks because these people decided to not contact me about these bogus chargers.
We moved in here a few months ago and overall, its a pretty decent place to live. The price is reasonable, especially considering central heat and air (a luxury in the PNW), floorplans are well thought out (kitchens are small though), and in a quiet area away from the Mill Plain commotion. They also have a nice little dog park on property thats hardly used (dont know why Im telling you about it...) and my dog LOVES to run and get some energy out on days when were limited in walking time.It all sounds too good to be true... hate to be the bearer of bad news, but youre right. When we moved in the unit above us was vacant - score! It couldnt stay vacant forever unfortunately and if there is one negative to our experience here thus far - its that the floors/ceilings are THIN AF... AND the floors creak. Ive gotten to a point where I know where mine creak the most and I tip-toe around them to make sure Im not disturbing my downstairs neighbors while Im getting ready for work at 5:00 AM. I wish I could say the same for my upstairs neighbors. They are loud, and walking all over their apartment, seemingly pacing, all night long, every night, in both rooms and the living room. Sleep is becoming an increasing luxury in this household. The model unit that youll tour is on the first floor, so you wont notice the noise until after youve signed the lease and moved in.I spoke with Alex (hes great, btw) in the leasing office yesterday, and hes more than willing to try to help, however, even if our inconsiderate upstairs elephants stop stomping around, well still be woken up by the creaking. So now, were 1/4 into our lease, and will have to tolerate the noise for the remainder. Wish us and our sanity luck.Happy apartment hunting!
Amanda and the crew are awesome. They are always have the residents interest in mind.
I applied for an apartment here in December and was forced to pay a holding deposit when I had not even been approved for an apartment yet. I was denied, never given any written explanation and since have been fighting to get my deposit returned. I was originally told it would take 24-48 hours, that was on 12/20/16. Then I was told the person that needed to sign off on the refund was out of the office and it was submitted for refund until 12/22/16. Then I was told it was refunded on 12/27/16. Effective today, 1/11/17, I still havent received my refund and while everyone is polite, at this point it is just patronizing because EVERYDAY the problem remains unsolved. This is the FIRST time ever that I have posted a negative review. I feel like the universe watched out for me, I dodged a bullet.
We absolutely LOVE living here! We moved with our large dog and one year old daughter from Seattle about a year ago. The assistant manager Amanda helped us with everything and always provides premier customer service with a smile. The apartments are spacious and the grounds are always immaculate. My favorite part about The Park At Mill Plain is the location. Walking distance to the local library, Firstenburiig Community Center, Trader Joe’s, WinCo, etc.The office staff makes all the residents feel like they are apart of one community. For example, my daughter took her first picture with Santa Claus at the Holiday party the office threw for it’s residents. We love living here and are so glad we made the move from Seattle. The Park At Mill Plain provided everything we were missing and more.
So far I love the office team and they have done everything I needed done in my new apartment. I came in surprised by wood floors and was so happy! We didnt have a shower door for a little bit because the first one broke lol but after talking to the office and giving them all of my observations for my walk through they came in quickly and fixed almost everything for us. Mariah helped me get all my paperwork done and has been absolutely awesome during the last few months of my moving process!
I have lived in the Park at Mill Plain apartments over a year. I have enjoyed living at the place and the majority of the staff I have enjoyed. I would have given this place 4/5 stars until recently there was a management change. I have been getting calls about signing additional items on the existing lease ( over a year old) for a few months. I received a call about if I was renting a garage and I answered Yes. I told the gentlemen I received a call about other items I needed to sign ( this was the sixth time; I was asked to resign/sign something on the existing vanilla lease, and did so) The gentlemen stated Nothing is outstanding we are good. A month later I receive another notice about signing items. I ignored it since we are going 7 times and their employee said I was good. Later, I received an 10 day eviction threat (attached), not on company letterhead nor signed.I have not been late on a rent payment nor had any complaints, and keep to myself. When I went into the office, I found out what I had to sign and they admitted they were told to send out these threats. The Park lost the walk-in inspection form, which was done physically with one of their employees and signed. It became evident what was happening, The Parks contract system and billing is so messed up that they needed a physical audit ( calling about garages) and/or needed to change the contract terms ( making a resident sign a new walk-in sheet a year later is changing contract terms). If they dont get what they want, they send you a threatening letter about suing you which they will not even sign nor put on company letterhead. Here is the RCW rules for those who dont know them:Self-help evictions are illegal (RCW 59.18.290). The removal of a tenant from a rental property cannot be done by the landlord without a court order. Evictions must be ordered by the court and must be served by a county sheriff, who will also oversee the removal of the tenant from the property if they have not already vacated. Tenants who are being illegally removed from a property can call the police. So ask yourself, do you really want to rent from an apartment complex that sends these type notices of empty threats even if you pay on time, try to resolve the problem but due to office organization issues you need to worry about eviction. You have been forewarned!!!!!!!
Its ok. Stuff falling apart inside
Excellent staff, excellent aptatments
1st week and Im already not happy here. So Im new to Vancouver, from CA and when I saw these apartments I thought they would be perfect since my job was located right across the street and my daughters school was around the corner. Very convenient, however, it is very expensive to live here. So in the beginning when I spoke to Amanda, I thought my $2668 covered the partial month of December 2016 and my rent for January. Turns out only $501 covered my rent for December 22nd to the 31st. and the rest was fees and security deposit. Totally confused. I appreciate the fact we can have pets but when the residents with dogs dont clean up their dogs poop its gross. Especially when they bring their dog to poop in front of my apartment where the bedroom windows are. Cant open the windows because of the smell. My rent is $1721 for a 3 bedroom 2 baths. My security deposit was 1554 plus the $150 cat deposit. For that amount of rent, the appliances should be updated. Already in my master bathroom the towel rack is broken. As soon as I put a towel on it broke. When taking a shower there is a loud ring. Not sure if thats pressure or what but its irritating and its in both bathrooms. And I know we live in apartments but they put under someone who is loud all the time and we dont get any rest. This is going to be a long year.Im adding to my current review because I cant add a 2nd review. So I go online to pay my rent and there is an additional $103.00 charge on my account for a vacant gas bill. I first called the office to find out what this is and they tell me Im being double billed by NW Natural gas and that I had to show them proof that I was paying my bill because they dont make mistakes like that. So I rolled with it.Showed them my bill and proof that I was current. I was told the amount would be removed and I could pay my rent. so I when I logged on to my account this morning to see if the amount was removed, it wasnt. Im hoping it will be removed today and I hope they dont want me to pay and get reimbursed. Doesnt work like that with me. Keeping my fingers crossed. Hoping for a miracle.
Weve been here for over nine years...Excellent place to live…Amanda is awesome! Serene surroundings...VERY happy ;)
Honestly it’s sad because the actual apartments aren’t bad. There is noise ALL THE TIME. If you work swing or graveyard shift, prepare to be extremely tired at work every single day. It must be an issue of the walls because our own neighbors complain when I have the tv up too loud lol. The floors creak all over and I can hear my neighbors cough (not kidding at all). Even better, I have to do my laundry at the laundromat down the street because one of my neighbors has an issue with me doing laundry during “quiet hours.” (Any time between 10pm and 8am.) I work three jobs and rarely have time to do laundry as it is without having to worry about the time. They should invest in quieter machines and stop limiting when people can do a normally relatively quiet life chore. I spend about $40-$60 each month to do laundry I should be able to do at home.
Low quality throughout, completely inept maintenance, and management that seems to be fully restrained by the corporate office - though they dont appear to care anyway.Plan on significant rent increases at the end of each term as well.Ive lived here five years or so. (I HATE moving and spend a lot of time traveling.) During that time Ive seen countless neighbors come and go. My only real question is whether they have higher turnover in office staff or tenants.
If I could leave this place 0 stars, I would. The apartment was filthy when we moved in and the toilet had black streaks everywhere and a loose toilet cover/lid that was also filthy. The porch storage unit was supposed to lock with the same key we use on the front door, but the door leading to the unit didnt even have a lock on it and barely closed properly. The dishwasher had dirt and debris and the clothes washer stank. The paint job was horrible and didnt even cover areas where previous tenants had mounted things to the walls. The fridge had areas that would form ice and then the ice would melt, dripping water all over our food. When we complained, they sent out mediocre maintenance people and a housecleaner to fix and clean things. She couldnt get rid of the black streaks on the toilet and the maintenance guys left sharp metal shavings all over the porch where they installed a lock for the storage unit door. The first guy who came to check the refrigerator just wiped up the ice and left. We could have done that ourselves and, of course, it didnt fix anything. Eventually, management sent another maintenance person (after we had to complain again about the same issue) who was smart enough to recognize that the refrigerator had to be replaced. For this, the front desk couldnt even coordinate with Sears properly for a refrigerator delivery date. I asked them to give me some notice and was told that Sears would come on a Tuesday. I waited all day and nothing. I got a call from Amy the next day 10 minutes before the delivery people came. What kind of notice is that? Luckily I was home to receive them. On top of that, we canceled our storage unit within a week of moving in, and it took management almost a month to process this change and give us a refund. They said they never got an email, and when we forwarded the original one with the date on it (proof of when we sent it), we never even got a response or an apology. Kathleen, Amy and Zachary at the front have zero customer service skills. Kathleen said she would look into it and get back to [me] about the black streaks in the toilet and never did. I had to ask the 2nd guy who came to check the broken fridge (before it was replaced) to look at the toilet. He took pumice to it and the black streaks were gone after he scrubbed for 10-15 minutes. He might be the only competent person that works here. Also, every time Ive gone to pick up a package, the person who gives it to me misses the fact that there is more than one package for me, so I have to go back. I was 38 weeks pregnant when this happened multiple times and it was not easy to get around. One package was particularly heavy and Zachary (who is easily over 6 feet tall and a big guy) didnt offer to help me carry it to my car. I am 53 and was 38 weeks pregnant at that time. Again no courtesy, no common sense and no customer service skills. Lastly, we were told that parking is really easy and that there are always spots available. Spots are not available and are as small as can be. We got on the wait list for a carport the same week we moved in and were told we should get one soon. 2 months later and we still hadnt heard a word about the carport. We are breaking our lease to move out of this horrible place and will have to pay an extra months rent to break the lease. This is easily the worst place Ive ever lived. We moved out about a month ago and we received a call from Zachary saying that there was a package with perishable items delivered. I told him we would come get it and when we went to get it, it had been returned to sender. He had no idea who sent it or why it was returned to sender. So now we have no idea who sent us a package or what was in it. This place and all these people are COMPLETELY incompetent. Amy, Kathleen, and Zachary all need to be replaced with people who have some common sense and people skills.
Crack heads everywhere. Tap water takes over 3 minutes to get hot, shut it off for 1 minute then wait another 3 to get hot again. Drains run slow, toilet barely flushes. Upon move in the cabinet under kitchen sink was completely rotted out. You can hear everything your neighbors say & do. Office unresponsive and unreasonable. Youre better off living under an overpass.
Ive lived here for about a year now and luckily, my lease is almost over. There are seriously so many things that I hate about these apartments I could go on for about an hour. Our washer smells bad, our dryer works terrible. The toilets were insanely clogged when we moved in and they did nothing to fix it. We had to have them fix the shower in the master bedroom because of a crack in the floor. The guy missed multiple appointments before actually showing up. He did the job and left the walls covered in paper and they shower door completely taken apart with a huge mess everywhere. After about a week of waiting, I decided to clean up the mess and put the shower door back together. The ceiling has weird dents in it all over the place where you can tell that the nails are loose. The lighting provided in the bedrooms is very dim as well and there is no light in the living room. When we moved in, our upstairs neighbors were a couple in their 20s, the woman works for the complex. Almost every night they would BLAST their techno/dubstep music until 3am, they would have their really loud friends over every weekend to get wasted, and they had a huge great dane sized dog. Literally, these people couldnt even watch a movie without it being INSANELY loud. They were just overall really disrespectful on top of it all too. Of course, if I said anything to management about them, nothing would be done. Much to my good fortune, they moved a month or two ago. Overall, Im excited to move on from this place. Ill probably just move into another (possibly worse) apartment than this one, but at least I wont be charged $1027 rent for an apartment that isnt worth ANYWHERE near that much a month.
I love my apartment community!
I wish I was here to write a good review. I’m not one to write reviews at all but I felt in my heart something needed to be said to future residents so they know what to expect. Upon moving in Mariah was amazing and helped with a smooth transition from living in houses in Alaska to our first apartment here in WA. But where do I begin, maybe I can start with the fact that as I’m writing this all I can hear is loud music (actually every word of the song) and the people walking above me. Expect to hear when they are doing laundry, vacuuming, arguing etc. After a few months you kind of get used to hearing your neighbors every move especially if you become friends with them lol you can even enjoy the movie they are watching from the comfort of your own bed..yes the walls are that thin. Forget trying to have more then one car here there is absolutely no parking unless you want to pay an extra $45 just to have a parking spot in a place you already pay to live in. Then get prepared for all of the notices on the door about “we will enter whether you are home are not” for whatever type of inspections they are doing around the complex that month. There is absolutely no privacy from the Managment team and if your check lands on the 6th of the month instead of the first you can expect a huge late fee. They do not care if life struggle are thrown at you they WILL NOT work with you. My husband tried to pay them a few months rent in advance and they said no. Then if you ask to give them half on the first and the rest a few days later they will not except partial payments.. it has felt more like a jail then it does a home. They watch your every move and contact residents through email or letters on the doors about everything and every little project they are doing. Things break very easy in the apartment like the towel racks and there were tons of stains on the carpet before we moved in even though they tried to tell us it was brand new, I can guarantee you we will be blamed for that too. They do not like to take responsibility for the way the apartment was handed to us, they just want to blame the current resident. Worst part is that here we are entering the holidays and they put a notice on our door that said we are to leave when our lease is up in 2 months without the option of renewing..we have paid our rent every month with the exception of being late a few times and paying the late fee that they request and we are not loud people we like quiet and privacy. This letter did not explain a single reason why just the simple fact that we are not wanted which is how we have felt from them since we moved in. (Discriminated against) I’ve never been able to walk in there and feel welcomed. Most uncomfortable place with the absolute WORST customer service. I will be happy to find a new home where we do feel welcome. After 10 years of renting this is by far the worst experience we’ve ever had. We’ve always had great relationships with our landlords and have lived in the same rentals for years but this complex doe not care about you one bit and that is a crappy feeling. Best of luck!
Love this place.
Beautiful apartments, nice people, good location!
The rent is way higher than it is worth. There is very limited parking (most is for compacts) and you have to pay to get a reserved spot. The apartments themselves are small and weirdly laid out. The closet doors, which are mirrors, very easily come off the tracks and are pretty difficult if not almost impossible to put back on. The toilets have frequently clogged since we very first moved in. The ceiling lights in the bedrooms are in an awkward place and provide very little light. The walls/floors are so thin that you can hear full conversations of your neighbors at all times of the day and night. Obviously a little noise is expected but I dont think you should be able to not only hear but understand everything someone below/above you is saying. If you live next to the basketball court, be prepared to be woken up to people playing at 7:30am. And thats also around the time they choose to have the windows washed, which in itself is loud but combine that with the workers yelling and playing music and its ridiculous. They spent a lot of time and probably money repainting everything yet the wood of the balconies is very neglected. Multiple car break ins have occurred. Everything about this complex screams cheap yet it is very expensive. Dont waste your money. The two good things I will say that is that they are generous about receiving late payments on rent and it is nice to have AC.
We are in our 5th year at the Park Apts and love it here. We relocated from NY and during our search we looked at 10 properties. We picked the Park because of the park like setting, location, amenities, and AC. The staff are very friendly and WO are generally completed quickly. The owners continue to make improvements, Last year they completed renovation of the fitness center and all new equipment. They have also completed road maintenance and building improvements. The only draw back is the heating & cooling systems are noisy and the floors creek somewhat during normal foot traffic. We are not allowed to have any type of gas or electric grills. It would be nice if the owners would install a central grill location on the property for those of us who love to grill outside. We were so pleased with the Park, that we relocated my mother-in-law from NY here as well Last year.
We had a very awful time at the Park at Mills Plain. Zachary was dishonest and incompetent. We knew we wanted a 2 month lease and he told us the additional time at the end was a staggered move-out program. The apartment itself was full of imperfections, flaws, the bathroom sink would not drain. I pulled out long black strands of hair and debris. Awful stay away.
Nice neighborhood, well manicured grounds, rather overpriced however.
Not somewhere you want to work for
Create place, nice amenities, wonderful staff. . . especially Amy!
Been home for 5 years now.
Fantastic Community!
Great place!
I love it here.
Excellent!
