Ive lived here a few years and I recommend this place big time. This review is more of a Thank You because the staff is awesome. We got hit with a snowstorm and Management jumped on it and coated the stairs with ice melt. I talked to some of my neighbors and they were like its because of the manager Michael. Hes on top of it. The maintenance is awesome. Chico does a good job with keeping this place clean. I just basically wanted to thank Michael and Chico for doing an awesome job.
Its so hard to find a decent place to live anymore and I seen a lot of apartments before I decided on The Hudson. Some of the residents have said it looks like a prison, but thats not a bad thing. It does need color to it. But the manager is Awesome. Super friendly and he sends emails out a lot. I was late with my rent and he said if you need more time, just let me know, just keep me updated. Most places I lived in are not that cool. I really enjoy living here, parking is cheap, great location and the maintenance guy keeps the place really clean. I highly recommend this place.
I just wanted to share my experience with living here at The Hudson. Ive been here a few years and honestly I do like living here. The location is great. I like the size of my apartment. Theyve gone through a few Managers and Maintenance men but who we have now are just super cool and always friendly. The Maintenance man is on top of things when something breaks. Boom its fixed. The Manager, (who I cant think of his name right now) came in and got the place cleaned up. How he did this, I dont know but hes awesome. Homeless cant charge their phones anymore in the garage cause he blocked all the outlets. Brilliant. Why didnt past managers do that. I only met him once and spoke on the phone a few times and hes always laid back and too the point. The building looks great, the only thing I would change is the color. This place needs more bright colors. Thats all, thanks.
This experience has been really awesome. I just moved in and Michael the manager made it so easy with no stress. Super laid back and really just gave me a great feeling about moving here and Im so glad I did. One thing was wrong in my apartment and within a few minutes, the maintenance guy was in there fixing it. Great service. I only signed a 6 month lease, but Im sure Ill renew as soon as I can. This has been my experience and Im really happy about it.
Been living here for awhile now and so far its been good. Thou we had a butch of homeless people hanging around in the garages charging their phones but Michael the manager took care of it and shut them down and now I hardly see any homeless around. There is a little noise from the traffic, but you get used to it. Close to shopping, easy access to Portland. Just a great location. Michael and Chico the maintenance man are super nice and easy to talk too.
I never write reviews because I just hate reading them. But I have lived here for over a year and was going to move out because of Covid19 but then after talking to the new manager Michael, Ive decided to stay and Chico the maintenance man is really good at doing his job. The building is really clean right now. Oh and the manager sealed up all the electrical outlets that were in the garage and now the homeless dont come around anymore to charge their cell phones. Thats some funny stuff.
I moved here a few years ago and honestly the past managers and maintenance just didnt care about anything. Fast forward to 2020 and what a change. Chico is an amazing maintenance man, he keeps this property really clean, he just power washed the whole building and it looks great. Michael the Manager really helped me when I lost my job and sent me financial help flyers which I contacted and got my rent paid. He followed up with me to make sure everything was ok. Best Manager of the year award. He was that awesome. I will be renewing and plan on staying here. Thanks to Avenue5 for giving this property Michael and Chico.
Moved in a few months ago. I like it. Moved into a cool studio which is big enough for 1 person. Maintenance is Great. Michael the guy who manages the property is on top of it. Great location and close to everything you need. Likes Bars. Ive already made some cool friends here. Parking is cheap. Overall, nice place to live.
I love the style of the apartments and Ive been trying to get ahold of the office to inquire about renting, but no one has gotten back to me. Ive called, emailed, and tried requesting a tour on the website. If someone could reach out to me I would really appreciate it!Edit: They reached back out to me and were incredibly friendly.
The new manager Eric here at the Hudson is amazing he is very helpful and gets business done quickly and efective ...he gets the maintenance over very quickly to fix anything that needs fixed and is very helpful and kind..Ive lived here for three years and its never been as good as it is now...planning on staying here for quite some time...great place to live they have cleaned it up around here😊
I cant even begin to express my frustration and disappointment with your organization. Trying to help my daughter find an apartment, I have called, left messages and sent inquiries like this one for the past 10 days - which you have ignored. I have talked to three different people there who told me that the studio apartment I wanted was available. I made an appointment with Eric to view it last night (8/13 @ 5:30) and he didnt show up. After multiple attempts to call today, Makayla tells me that the apartment is no longer available and rented while you were ignoring my many inquiries. Your lack of professionalism is beyond compare. If you treat your tenants like your perspective customers, Im better off not working with you.
Management is horrible. Had things broken for months before they send someone. Its also right next to the highway so you hear traffic 24/7 for 1k a month. Might be worth it if the apartment was bigger then a 1 car garage.*** Update they never fixed my stove, was broken the whole time i lived there while the repair man just kept closing the repair order. Management didnt bother even addressing this till i said i was going to move out.
The way they treat their tenants youd think this was a classy upscale place. In reality it is a dungeon! Dreary with unsavory people hanging out. We rented for an out of town employee never late with rent and very quiet tenant. Received 2 fees for having a broom and dust pan on the patio, then had to extend our lease a couple months talked to he leasing agent, re signed everything, after 9 months of being on auto pay with our card on file they just didnt charge it. Instead they fined us and put up a 10 day notice.Truly would NEVER recommend this place, quite the opposite.Update; I did receive a call from Jennifer on this and they did remove the late fee....
Quite, cozy apartments, they cleared out trouble tenants.
Overpriced and cramped apartments with an ugly 70s aesthetic. There are rampant problems with mold as well.
Put in a request for someone to help multiple times concerning the wall in our bathtub falling off the real wall. All that they did was re-seal it and now we smell mold so :)Things to know: you hear everything your neighbor does, the heater only works if you are within a foot of it, but only your calves will get the heat, so its very cold right, our bed is an ice cube. no where else. The appliances fall apart often, and they only hire one maintenance dude for the whole complex. I feel bad that he is getting this kind of treatment, not cool. It also smells bad, saw piss in the hallway once. Idk dude the apartments look cool
This building is picked up and then dropped by scummy companies that nickle and dime you, rush you through your aplication process and then belittle you when you have questions.I would not recommend renting from them unless you call a near thousand dollars cheap for a studio apartment in an undesirable area.Half of it, i belive to be the manager whom for some reason has not been replaced throughout these changesEnd of rant.
Nearly 900 dollars a month for a cinder block jail cell. Disgusting. Its retro like communist era commie bloc.
I made an appointment here to view the studio apartment but when i arrived and called multiple times no one answered the phone. :/
Door stuck
