Started here in February and absolutely love this place. EVERYONE is welcoming and more than willing to help out. Love the fact that there is absolutely no ego from the higher belts and everyone is willing to go whatever pace the other person needs to go. Nothing but positivity from my experience here.

Seems to be helping my little one with confidence and self control. He picks in his sister less which has been nice. The place is very clean and nice and the guy that runs it is friendly.

I dropped in for a couple classes this week and had an amazing time. Walking in, there was just a good feeling about the gym. The facilities are so clean and the coaches were very welcoming!To be honestly I was very nervous to drop in. I’ve been doing BJJ for a couple years now but, as a smaller woman, dropping in at a new gym can be intimidating, however the coaches made me feel welcome and I had a wonderful time. I love my home BJJ gym but am a little sad this one is so far away, otherwise I’d totally drop in more!

My husband and I dropped in this past Sunday for open mat and had a great time. We were traveling through and August replied to our voicemail promptly. The facility is very nice and in a shared building with a crossfit gym and we were able to shower before getting back into the car which was great. All of the guys I trained with were great partners, technical and friendly.

Love this school and the instructors and the students! I have all three of my kids taking the kids classes and its great to see how much they have grown! Their self esteem and confidence is going up and it gives me comfort to know they are learning to defend themselves if ever put in a bad situation.I too have been taking the adult classes, the instructors are very knowledgeable in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, friendly, encouraging, always willing to help, and have welcomed me in as part of their family.Jiu-JitsuIf you are looking for something that will challenge you physically, mentally, gain life-long friends, learn self defense, and get fit in a fun way this is the place to go.

This place was extremely welcoming. The students and head instructor made us feel like we we’re members instead of visitors. If your ever in Twin Falls and need to get your roll on, check this place out. Also, if your looking to start jiu jitsu and your in the area, I would definitely check out this gym.

SIBJJ has exceeded my many expectations. I have previously trained in traditional Japanese Jiu-Jitsu and Karate over twenty five years ago. In high school I wrestled under a coach who trained the US national team. The level of instruction at SIBJJ is on par with, or exceeds, the level of instruction I have encountered in the past. They are a credit to their affiliated instructor Mitch Coats, black-belt lineage, and BJJ heritage.I returned to practicing martial arts as a way to increase my activity level and improve my health. Even though training takes me out of the house a couple nights a week my wife has been supportive as she has seen my work-relate stress levels and pounds seem to drop.I have been pleased to find the instruction challenging. The upper belt instructors are all knowledgeable and friendly. They present the material in an organized, easy to learn, manner. Plenty of time is given to practice. There seems to always been something for everyone, from the freshest white belt to the more senior belts.I have observed the childrens class on occasion. The material and methods of instruction are positive and age-appropriate. Im a firm believer that some martial arts techniques should not be taught to children. However, I believe that martial arts can provide an avenue for exercise, self improvement and self mastery.The facilities are superior to any I have trained in previously. High quality training mats are utilized. There is plenty of room for practice and rolling. SIBJJ is located in a very professional gym. The entire facility is clean and tidy. There are areas for changing if you are on your way home from work.Finally, the positive atmosphere and fraternal relationships that SIBJJ encourages is more than enough to keep me returning. I have made many new friends at SIBJJ. Outside of my church I would be hard pressed to find another group of individuals that would drop everything to help me out in a pinch. I know that these people will.
