I was in desperate need of a hair and I was in the area for work and had a little bit of free time. So I called them up to see if they take walk in and how soon they can get me in. They said they do take walks in and got me in within 10 minutes of contacting them. The lady who cut my hair was really professional and did an awesome job. 10/10 thank you do the great job!

The 2 ladies that work there are the best at cutting little kids (boy and girl) hair! Super nice and did an excellent cut! Found our new hair cutters.

Don’t be put off by the area or the outside of the building. The barbershop/skin works shop is very clean and pleasant inside. The staff is friendly and their music is upbeat. Makes waiting for my husband a treat! Jonathan did an amazing job!

Guys seriously, the older woman who wears flannel shirts all the time does not know how to cut hair; we all know who she is. Please pull her off to the side and give her the proper remedial training or let her go. It is not fair to the clients, especially Marines, who get bad haircuts from her and are left in the awkward position of telling her to fix it or pay and leave and go somewhere else to get it fixed.

Went there today. I dont trust many people with my haircut I recently left my city and moved here Ive tried other places and nothing else compares to this shop. Very friendly. Good prices and they legit take care of your hair the right way I highly recommend this place and will be going back to Ashley from now on. Thank you Ashley you did exactly what I wanted I appreciate it.

I had a great experience here. You’re paying for quality haircuts here so it takes a little longer, but you can’t rush perfection. There were plenty of barbers when I came in and when it was my turn the staff were very friendly and offered me water during my haircut. The atmosphere was very upbeat and the music in there reflected that too. Definitely would recommend this place!

Great staff, plenty of parking whether lot or street. Barbers are welcoming and take their time to get it done right. They gots a ATM inside although I havent had to use it so dunno trans fee. Prices are definitely competitive and worth the experience of their shop and customer specific haircuts.🤙

Definitely the best place to get a cut in 29, and more likely than not, its worth the drive from the surrounding cities. I get my monthly boost of confidence here, and Krista (the owner) always does a solid job. I havent had anybody else cut my hair in a while now, but Im sure she has chosen a highly competent staff. Id highly recommend The Shop for military or civilian cuts alike.

Ive had excellent fades from Krista and Bobi. It is hard finding barber shops in the Hi Desert that do fades as well as The Shop. All their barbers look like they put in the time for a quality haircut. I love coming out of there clean as they use a vacuum with their clippers and Ive always had a good experience. I high recommend them!

BEST BARBERSHOP IN THE STUMPS. For those who complain about it being “loud” let’s not forget 95% Of he people getting haircuts are active duty Marines. The owner is amazing and actually cares about the Marines the rest of the staff is great they take their time because they don’t do the busted $5 fades that the other barbershops do. Instead of posting on google if a customer has a problem they should address it with the owner.

This is a great place to get your hair done. Bobi is a great hair dresser she dose mens womens and kids hair. She is great at cuts and color. I will go back.

I have been to almost every barber shop in this town. This one, tops them all. Extremely friendly staff, with a professional yet personal experience. Conveniently located in the center of town. You can get a haircut here with the confidence youll walk out a new person. I refuse to get my hair cut anywhere else, and once youve been here, you wont either.

Krista is great with my toddler. I appreciate the time they put into each haircut to make sure their customers are satisfied.

My son and I got there at 4:30 and waited for about 15 minutes. We sat in a waiting area seperate from the chairs that had a big flat screen,couches, and a pub height counter with stools. I forgot the girls name who cut my sons hair, but she was awesome. My son is 6 and he starts wiggling a lot after sitting for 10 minutes and doesnt like how itchy he feels when the cut hair is on his skin. The girl who cut his hair has a son the same age and had absolute patience with him and catered to dusting the hair off of every minute or so. Did a surprisingly great job on his cut even though he moved a lot. I made sure to tip her accordingly. She was great!

Asked for a razor fade and they gave me a high an tight that was uneven and had a line in it and over priced. Im sticking with stud cuts.

Average haircuts. Honestly hit or miss but not a bad place.

Very unprofessional. A lot of shouting across the room from the hair cutters, and there were barely any customers and they were taking their goddamn time on their phones and talking to eachother. I watched two men sit the chairs waiting for their haircut for the longest time while one of the barbers was on his phone and leaving the man and the other girl barber just kept walking over to the male barber to chat and left the man in the chair waiting. The only barber that was actually doing her job was the lady in the corner. We left the shop because we were so fed up with the shouting and how long it was taking. When the male barber had finished up his customer he went to the front desk and just sat in his phone. When we were about to leave, he got up and tried to get us to stay, he called my husbands name right in front us at the door and asked if we were leaving. Never going there again
