Machines look liked they havent been updated since the 80s.They are also really small and cant handle large loads, and theres notenot of them for the amount of customers.Other than that, its a decent laundromat that Ive been using ever since the coin shortage started and havent been able to get quarters from anywhere to use the machines at my apartment complex.

Only place Ill drop my clothes off at. Friendly and reliable staff. I work out of town and they have never failed to get me clothes done next day even when I let the bags fill up.

Comfortable place good to come by on a slow day. Even when theyre busy its not that bad.

I love 1 Stop Laundry! The self service is helpful to my cleaning needs! its a family oriented establishment where its quiet, and the customers can get their laundry done fast with excellent rates, and two different sizes in washing machines plus large dryers for huge loads! I recommend 1 Stop Laundry to anyone!

I guess if you werent actually doing your own laundry it would be good, but if you are washing your own clothes, good luck. Most the washers and dryers are already in use for the drop off service and even when theyre done the clothes sit in there forever. Every time Ive been here theres random people hanging out in front who arent even doing clothes. And the parking lot is hard to get in and out of with a full size truck. If youre not a college kid dropping your dirty sheets off, skip this place.

Things seem to work, but the dryers are always packed with stuff from the drop off service. TV is loud and plays trashy stuff. Theres like 2 chairs in the whole place.

The review I am about to post is for the 1 Stop Laundry in Northport, AL on McFarland Ave. I had the most terrible experience there today. I was drying my clothes, minding my own business when the attendant (a VERY RUDE older lady with reddish hair. I did not get her name because there was no name tag) slammed her fist on the counter and yelled at me from across the room to STOP SLAMMING THE DRYER! First off, I was not slamming the dryers. Second, there was no signs anywhere to be seen near the dryers asking for customers to be exceptionally gentle or anything like that. Third, I am not a child, I am an adult and I spent my hard earned money washing clothes at that establishment and I expect to be treated with respect. When we called her on the carpet about her rude behavior towards me and my family and asked to speak with the owners, she told us that we had a pathetic life and were miserable. She also hesitated to give her name or the owners names and number. Also, when asked what she defines as slamming a dryer door, she had the arbitrary answer of When I can hear it. She claimed that that was the fourth time she told me that, but she never came up to me and told me anything. I have used many laundry mats in my life and I have NEVER been told that I slam dryers. The woman has absolutely NO customer service skills at all. As we were leaving, she proceeded to do a kiss goodbye smart alack gesture at us. We told her that she would run off all her customers, and she stated I dont care. I hope no one has to go through what we just went through while trying to dry our clothing. I plan to file multiple complaints, including to the Better Business Bureau. Also, to be so picky about their dryers, half of the washing machines were out of order. The health department should come inspect this dump as well. This place deserves to be shut down for their lack of respect to customers and their uncleanliness.

Clean and neat laundry mat. They also provide an attendant. The attendant also provides quarters so we dont have to go somewhere for change. Thanks a bunch!

Great service, just need to reinvest an fix machines

Broke the buckle on one of my dresses last year to point where it’s not wearable and recently ruined the elastic on two of my skirts to the point where they are also not wearable. They didn’t even get the stains out. I don’t recommend one stop laundry.

I had came in 2 minutes after 5.30. Apparently 5:30 is the cut off time. Are you kidding me. I had to leave bc 2 minutes was going to break this women. This one is located in Northport off McFarland.

I bring my clothes, towels and linens here to be washed, dried and folded almost every week. They do a good job and are very courteous. Plus everything smells so good! Stephanie is the bomb ;-)

Very little sitting space when awaiting for clothes to finish. Only three chairs in the whole place and they post a sign No sitting on tables. Washes are $1.75 and dryers are $0.25. Washers and dryers both work pretty good.

I have used 1 Stops dry cleaning service for several years and I highly recommend them. I wear a suit to work every day and get all my dry cleaning done at 1 Stop. My shirts are neatly pressed just the way I like them. The staff is always friendly, calling me by name when I come in.

Alot of these machines are down, but they should have enough remaining so that you dont have to wait

Great laundry but the prices are high

Normally its okay to park and get your laundry done. There is limited parking at the place and gets filled up. They do not close till 7 and last load to start is at 530pm. However, the day before game day, either the owner or someone else blocks the entrance with a set of saw horses, so they can set up a tent for the game. They block off the entire parking lot which does not allow customers to park nor get access to their laundry. Ive even seen people bring their items to be dry cleaned. Then I noticed that all of their stuff is put into a washer, soaked in detergent and hung to dry. This will damage some items sensitive to heat as they do dry the items for a short period

The last few times I went there, over half the machines were broken. Seems to be getting worse every time. The ones that work do the job though.

Most washing machines at the two locations I have gone to do not work. When I requested to receive my money back for the quarters I put into a broken washing machine, I was denied. I was told to come back another day and to talk to management. The owners of this franchise are not available to address customer concerns. Telephone calls to the business are not answered or returned. And their employees are indifferent to customers needs.
