Mels installed a new AC unit. They did a great job. They showed up on time. Cleaned up everything when they were done, and they even made some corrections on the original piping that was damaged during the construction of the house. The new unit is way more efficient, and we have a lower electric bill now.

I called Mel’s late in the afternoon on Tuesday and they were able to send someone out the following day. I had a leak in my ceiling that was caused by my Ac system on my roof. I called many AC companys to see if anyone can come and fit it. Do to being the peak season everyone was booked until Monday. I reach out to Mels and Elizabeth answer the phone. I didnt know this before hand but Elizabeth would be my saver. I told her about my problem she called me back after couple of hours stating that she will get one of her techs to come out after hour to help me. She went up and beyond to help me. The first repairman found the blower motor was bad. After replacing it, could not get it working. The tech people from Carrier AC company said it was the circuit board. Replaced it, but still could not make the blower work.Finally, the second repairman found it was the thermostat that did not respond to the blower demand. He made it work after replaced the thermostat.

The company was booked solid but fit me in the same day for an emergency a/c repair. The tech diagnosed a failed capacitor and had it replaced in a few minutes. He even washed the unit down free of charge.

They were able to find and fix the problem without needing a new unit at this time, however it did take two visits to figure it out. We did get quick service and repair so overall we were happy.

Called Mel’s Heat and Air because my tenant reported their heat was not working at 1100am. Noel came out by 3pm and fixed the issue. I love this company because they get work done fast and for a reasonable price. My system is old and I’m not trying to spend a lot of money. Noel didn’t try and upsale me with a new system and did not make me feel pressured to buy a brand new system. He’s a honest person!

Every time we have used Mel’s Heating & Air Conditioning we have had fantastic service. The last time we called was a Saturday morning and they were out within the hour for our heater that was making a noise that sounded like a washing machine that was out of balance. After taking out the blower motor he discovered we had a dead rat in our blower! (To our complete surprise) Since my husband was not home at the time Noel, the repair technician, was kind enough to put the rodent in a bag and dispose of it in our trash. The heater was once again working thanks to Mels Heating and Air who repaired our issue quickly and for a reasonable price. We highly recommend them and they are our “go to” business for any heating or air conditioning issues. It’s always nice to use a local business that does a great job!

All my future HVAC projects will definitely go to Mel’s Heat & Air.Contacted them when our AC gave up in middle of the evening two weeks ago on a hot day. The real challenge was to fix the AC same day, as we have a new born baby. We had the pleasure to work with Noel when he arrived at 7:30 PM. Within 15 min he identified the problem, however the warehouse that carries the needed spare part was closed. He spent 15 min improvising by trying to obtain the part from other team members that may have the part for future install. Without much luck, he then managed to have the warehouse re-open and made an hour round trip at 8:05 PM to pick up the part. He started installing the part shortly after nine, and was gone by 10 PM. If not for Noel’s tenacity and grim persistence, for our new born’s sake we would have had to spend the night in a hotel. Thank you Noel

I called Mel’s because our AC quit in 100 degree weather. They scheduled me for service that same day between 11:00-1:00. They texted me that they were on their way. Alfred one of their technicians showed up at 11:00, he was very professional and knowledgeable. He was very polite and got straight to work on our AC. He found the problem and fixed it. We were so pleased. They were prompt and charged a reasonable price. I would recommend them highly. We plan to use them for all our HVAC needs in the future.

We contacted our landlords because our A.C. wasnt working the way it should. They are the ones who called Mel since theyve used him for their other properties and he was out to our house right away. (Almost ten oclock at night) it was a simple fix and got us up and running and our A.C. feels wonderful!....Well it was a coincidence my in-laws second story unit went out that night before last and when they contacted someone, they wouldnt be able to come out until Monday (Maybe). My husband mentioned this to Mel after he was done with our unit and he said hed give us a call to see if was able to go see whats going on. Mels came to our office (Dr. Mehrany) and did an excellent job on our heating, air, vents and cryostat machine. We were extremely pleased with the services, professionalism, honesty and the timely manner in which they completed there work.

Mel and his son are the best. I had an electrician hook up the computer board on my air conditioning unit and he hooked it up wrong. noel was able to help correct the problem and keep the costs down.

Helped me out of a pinch but marked up the product quite a bit, 100% and and I think the typical markup is even more, in some cases (freon) as much as 500% or more but thats how they all are in this trade.
