So far its bad. Their booth has a sign that sends you outside the airport. Then their booth sends you in another direction to National car rental. Massive line and only two people working. My first (and probably last) time renting from Alamo. You can tell from the other reviews here that theyre not rated well. I should have checked this location before I rented!
I’d go with another company very rude at tulsa airport ended up canceling my reservation and going with another company. Manager Logan was very disrespectful
It took longer than usual to both pick up and return the vehicle. Also I was told you MUST Have profile in order to rent a vehicle...Keep in mind I am supposed to get Hilton Hinors points for but you cant have a profile attached to receive them....If I dont get my points for this rental...I will go back to HERTZ...the service is better there anyway!!!

The vehicle was clean and the person handling my rental was friendly and professional. However when I returned my vehicle to Tulsa airport there was no idy there to accept the car back. After waiting several minutes, and not wanting to miss my flight I left the keys on the dash took several photos and prayed for the best. Fortunately everything was closed out fine but someone should be there for those early AM flights.
Service was superb! Went above and beyond for me when there was no vehicles left upon my arrival. Will definitely be renting again! And might I add... the pricing was fantastic!!!!
My bad for choosing an off airport facility. I get there they would not let me inside social distancing apparently the 2 of us in the 1200 sq foot room was to much. So its 50 degrees i didnt have a coat i wait 10 minutes as the guy said they just got it back and needs to have gas. I get in and do my normal mirrors seat radio adjustments I realize the car is not clean and the tank is just under half full. They say just return it the same. I explained reputable agencies give it to you full and expect it full on return. Another 5 minutes waiting out side and they decide to show the car as empty so I dont get charged for gas on return. I just want to get on my way so I agree to the inconvenience. Car was nice enough not one I would buy but everything worked and was in good condition.
Good price on the rental. A little over $800 for 3 weeks but they gouged me with a $500 drop off charge because I dropped it off at a different location than the one I rented from. I could see $100-$150 but $500 is excessive. Budget and Hertz charge about $100 for the same thing. Won’t rent from Alamo again.
They were great! Easy in and out. Check in and reservation was a breeze. I booked an online reservation and it was very simple. Great car, clean and mobile. Nice customer service for pick up and return.

I have been a loyal AVIS Customer for almost 35 years. I have worked in Customer Service field for about 25 years. I know great Customer Service when I see it. I was so impressed with service I received at Alamo when I gave them a try.Danielle was amazing! She was so sincere and really wanted to please. I am very picky on my car selection but she treated like such a valued customer. She went the extra mile to get the exact car I was looking for. She always has a smile and I can tell she loves serving Alamo Customers.The other ladies who assisted me were very good as well. The lady who greeted me upon return was professional and courteous. I can tell the management is doing something right with the level of professionalism and service I received.I was so thrilled with my experience that I signed up to be an Alamo Insider and look forward to renting from Alamo again!
Car itself, ride condition was great, however the car smelled bad, and customer service on pick up was horrible. Customer service on drop off was great!!!!
When I checked in for the rental car, the rate increased by $132 snd finally they decreased the rate to the agreed amount less $1. the vehicle was not reliable and it was a gas guzzler. Had to spend an excess amount for the fuel to our surprise and they vehicle kept going to the right going down the highway. Our experience was very bad with your company.
My services were exceptional! The employees went above and beyond. Upon first getting my car, I couldnt get my Bluetooth to sync but with help from their smart, beautiful, pleasant employee we got it working right away. And upon my return the two gentlemen both dressed very nice, they worked very hard to make my return check in seamless. I will always choose Alamo at this location. I always rent all my cars from Alamo I even recommend it to a lot of my friends and family well today I decided to stop all my rentals from this place.. I had reservation thru their website, when I came to the counter I had to use my business credit card for expense purposes they refuse to use it and a lady who claimed to be the manager set someone with the same kind card came yesterday and they wouldnt let them use it!! Alamo, you need to check on this kind of claiming manager and employee because no more business to you!
The car we had reserved was not immediately available, but a similar car was provided. Unfortunately, that car smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke we had to rush my wife back to her sisters house to use her inhaler. After our appointment was over, we contacted the national Alamo help line and were told we could return the car and exchange it. So, we drove the 45 minutes back to the airport location and were able to get a car that did not smell like smoke. Ironically, it was the car we had originally reserved. Overall not a great experience with wasted time and serious potential health hazard, but Alamo did provide a clean and less toxic car in the end. Probably will not use Alamo again because there are many other options for car rentals who do care about the health of their customers.

Had Toyota Carolla for my trip back to USA. Was a great car. Only concern was that a short time into my journey the maintenance required message showed up on the screen and I was a little concerned. However spoke with representative at return and was reassured it was a factory standard so wasnt worried then.Staff was so nice and helpful.
I had a great experience as always. The women at the front counter when I arrived was not as warm as I was used to but we made it through. Then went outside to my buddy Lorenzo, whom is always personable and professional, would definitely like to see him as a manager at this location one day. But overall I love Alamo and even though at the time Avis had a better deal on the same vehicle I needed, I am loyal to Alamo!!
I f you are LOCAL and renting - please note that there is a $200.00 deposit they charge when you pick up the car. When you return it, its just the price of the rental that actual gets charged to your card. If you are flying in dont worry about this.The people at the counter are always super helpful and have a smile on their face. The pick up of the car in different spot this time due to the construction of the parking garage. Just follow the signs. Return is a breeze - once again just follow the signs due to the construction. They always ask how the car was when I return it. Been renting with Alamo only at Tulsa International for over 3 yrs now. They are the ONLY rental car company I use.

Very unhappy with this company. My husband and I left a couple items in the car. We called looking for them, said someone was going to call back- never did. Called again & they put a request & had to wait for an email, no response. Called again a month later and still no response. We vlog and noticed that the items were left in the car, they have been ignoring us on purpose and makes you think they kept items. 3 months later (today) I had to open yet another ticket & still no response. Those items were very expensive. Would not recommend, seems very shady as the items never appeared on the lost & found website.
After my wife spent an hour on the phone with them yesterday, and even 30 minutes today upgrading the vehicle she is going to take, they waited until after she was dropped off there to tell her that her visa credit/debit card was unacceptable. even though an account balance could be easily provided, and a conversation with our account manager would be easily verify the balance they turned her away and now she is walking around without a vehicle. shame on you!
Alamo is my preferred rental agency. This rental from TUL was the type without the kiosk check in. The booth in the garage was where I picked up my car key, no browsing for a vehicle. My only concern was the airport desk agent asking me for my car insurance, so they could know where to charge the deductible (near quote). This was after I refused the add-on insurances, since my credit card covers most of it. I didn’t care for that, and I made sure to video the car so I would have record of its condition. I recognize individual agents do what they can to sell the add-ons, and I already have another reservation with Alamo. I have never had a problem with Alamo spuriously charging me, and I think they have neglected to charge me at least once for being within an hour late returning. I do recommend inspecting every car before leaving, as once I was brought a car from the “treatment” lot because they had run out of my class. On the return the agent acted like I had damaged the car. Just a reaction, no charges to me, but I am careful. Alamo has a well maintained fleet and offices at my most frequently used airports, and the rentals contribute to my airline mileage program.

My recent experience with Alamo in Tulsa, OK was awesome. The check in process was fast, and I was pleased with the mid sized vehicle selection that was available. When I returned the vehicle, the process was fast and the staff was very polite and professional.
When I got to Tulsa Airport Alamo there was a long line of people waiting. There was only one person helping people, and she had to run all over to get people their car - for example she had to get cars from Enterprise for Alamo rental people. When I finally got up to the window (about an hour), she didnt have the full size car I had reserved. So I got a mini van. The situation was not her fault. She was running and doing the best she could. Whoever is running this location should be fired, though.
I called the day prior to our arrival to Alamo at Tulsa Airport. Our flight information was attached to our reservation since our flight was to land at 12:03 am and the desk closed at 12 am. Alamo assured me that the desk would remain open until we arrived. I was at the pick up desk by 12:10 am and the desk was closed and no Alamo employee was in the garage. I was left stranded by Alamo at the airport at midnight.I will never recommend Alamo and will never use Alamo again.
I have been using Alamo for the past year whenever I take a trip out of town. This past week, I had a week long rental for an out of state trip. The car was great, staff was friendly and helpful, process went very fast for both checkout and return. Highly recommend them and will continue to use them in the future.

Walked right up to the counter inside the terminal. Rental went fast. The walk to get the car outside in the parking garage is not very far. The car was clean. It was a Ford Fusion (Standard) and was comfortable.
Great vehicle and friendly service. Car was a bit far due to construction but reasonable distance. Maybe a shuttle for customers. Car was almost new and had no issues!
Due to a family emergency that required me to extend my rental car reservation, initially for an undetermined time which later proved to be over two weeks longer than expected, I was worried there would be problems keeping the same car and/or Alamo would charge me an excessive amount to keep the car. But to their credit, Alamo worked with me to honor the same rate I was initially quoted even though I did not know when exactly I would be turning the care in. Dealing with stressful family matters, the local reps in the Tulsa airport went above and beyond in making sure my needs were taken care of, rather than making a point to charge me a premium for extending my rental. I could not be more please with the exceptional service they provided!!! This was after initially using Hertz and getting the run around and being charged an excessive amount to hold their car longer than expected. From now on, I will use Alamo instead of Hertz!. Thank you Alamo!!!
Customer service was very nice. Lady at the Alamo counter inside was great, gave us a short cut to where we were going. Once outside, they were short on the type of cars we reserved, however, the attendant was very friendly and offered us a few different options. We usually always use Alamo, and will continue.

We went to great trouble to complete all forms and check in on-line before arriving at the Tulsa airport, but this did us no good at all. The website informed us that, even after doing all the work to check in, we would have to stop by the counter to pick up our car assignment.When we arrived, we ended up having to wait behind customers who had not checked in and took a long time deciding what car they wanted, producing the necessary documentation, etc. As a result, we encountered significant delays before our turn in line. After this, we were sent, not to our car, but another outside kiosk where we again had to wait in line to finally receive our car assignment.The car we received for the price was excellent: a Hyundai SUV with a back-up camera and many other helpful features. No complaints there. Also, when we brought the car back, there was a helpful attendant with a luggage cart to help us get to our gate.But, for customers who want to be able to check-in in advance and skip the long lines, Hertz is a far better option than Alamo.
Our plane was 30mins delayed and we put our flight number in the reservation but no staff was left at the counter waiting for us. All other rental companies have staff left waiting for their clients except Alamo. I call customer service they said they have no obligations to wait for customers if their flight is delayed. Wow, Thank you for your service Alamo! Will never be back!
I reserved an economy car from Alamo several weeks before I made a long trip. When I got to the desk, this center was out of both economy and compact cars. I was offered a mini-van instead, but any other option would have cost me the upgrade fee. I was expecting a car that got about 40 mpg and ended up with a mini-van that got about 26 mpg. The rental itself was $75 and this cost me an extra $60 in gas over the coarse of the trip. Not only did I not get the car that I reserved, but the mini-van that was checked out to me had crumbs all over the back seat.I also felt like I was being pressured into taking the insurance coverage for an added fee by being told I would have to pay for any damage to the vehicle personally and that it wouldnt go through my credit card. My credit card has rental car insurance on it, so I knew not to take the option but they were still trying to pressure me into taking it.

Boy be prepared to spend out the ass for your cheap car.They put a $250 hold on my card because, local rental deposit, then they had to chalk my credit card for 500 in authorization. Good thing I had that amount to do or I would have been SOL. Never have run into such a Hassel when renting a car. Will never rent from alamo again.

They ran out of economy cars and upgraded me to a midsize suv for free. My credit card was charged for the deposit which I did not want. I was told by costumer service that I could use my debit card for the deposit but when I got there the front desk associate told me I could not use more than two cards. Wish I shouldve showed her the emails sent back and forth between the costumer service guy and I. It was my first time renting a car and felt disappointed at how unfriendly the associate was and how difficult she made it. Overall my experience was okay. Ive had better experiences with enterprise but I guess it all comes down to the front desk associate thats helping you and their mood.
They gave me a Nissan Sentra, which drove well. But it had 3 hydraulic leaks in the from, which caused stains in my friends driveway. We tried for 3 days with a degreaser, WD-40, power hose, and even bleach, but could not get the stains out. The Alamo agent didnt seem to care when I returned the car, and said he would note it. Thanks a lot!

Do not trust them when you check your car in. I dropped mine off at 12 and it was due back at 12:39. They didnt check it in for 2 hours and billed me as if I brought it in late. Just make sure you take a picture showing it was returned or they will try to bill you.Plus, if you have an Oklahoma Drivers License they make you put a $200 security deposit on a Credit Card, NOT DEBIT CARD, because as the lady at the counter put it Oklahomans dont like to return their cars so be aware of that.
Everyone at this Rental was extremely nice and very helpful, especially considering our late arrival to the airport. They were closing within 20 minutes of us arriving.
I return the vehicle around 10p on Sunday, 9/3/17 and I was charge for another day because it show that it was returned on 9/4 @ 9a. I was at the airport @7a for 8:50a flight. I was told to drop the key in the box and it will be taking care off.My suggestion that maybe a time clock should be on the drop box so the company is aware of the time when dropping off and not being charge unnecessary because now its causing problems with my bank for over charges.

I rented a car for 15 days to drive Tulsa to Houston. Our booking agent suggested a long term rental should mean a one way hire fee wouldnt apply. On asking about this at the time of picking up a car (with Kansas plates), I was told that I would need to speak to the reps in Houston when I returned the vehicle. On returning the car I was advised that as the transaction was with Tulsa they would need to authorise any non payment! Very frustrating that no one has authority. I then called Alamo customer service but was told a Tulsa manager would need to authorise this and that I should expect a call. Several days past without a call and Ive now left the USA. While I signed up to Alamo Insider I doubt Ill do business with Alamo on my next trip given their lack of service and professionalism.

Stay safe and rent from Avis or Hertz!!! They tried to give me a car with a donut tire on the front and a flat in the trunk. This was after an hour. They ran out of cars and didnt have what I reserved. The staff was confused and scattered. Customer service was not even close to what you would expect from a company like Alamo.

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS BY FAR THE WORST!!! I booked with priceline and went to pick up my car yesterday morning on 06/24/2017. The woman that was helping me told me that they didnt have the car I booked but they had an upgraded jeep left. I asked her will the rates be the same and she said, yes. After she was done inputting the information in, she told me a totally different price. I inform her that it was not the price listed on priceline and she argue that its because priceline didnt charge for CUSTOMER FACILITY, lol. I show her on my phone the customer facility charge that was already included on priceline. She was annoyed and told me she cant honor priceline price and that I either take what she had offer or cancel the reservation. She told me I needed to call priceline up because its not their business. I inform her that it is their business because theyre the one that posted up their rates on priceline and agreed to priceline terms. With no progress I ask to speak to a manger which according to her was busy and wouldnt speak to me. She said her manager told her to tell me what she had already told me. I didnt know what she had told the manger because she could had twisted the story so I ask to see the manger and speak to her myself. In the end I was told the same BS and that the manger couldnt see or speak to me. While this was going on I went ahead and booked a reservation with another car rental in the same airport just in case. I knew it wasnt going anywhere at this point and with the time I had already wasted here, I didnt want to waste anymore of my time when I knew other car rental place would provide me with a more friendly and professional customer service experience. I told her to cancel the reservation and went to a different car rental. At the other car rental, the guy at the counter was really nice and extremely helpful, not only did they give us no trouble, it took less than 10mins and we were already on our way out driving our rental car.
Ive always enjoyed Alamo. I have had a few issues in the past but after calling customer service it was resolved fairly quickly.

I was supplied with a Chev Cruze which gave me no trouble except for a flat tyre, which deflated on the I-35 and was damaged beyond repair..I replaced the tyre, because I was in a hurry.When I returned the car, I asked about a refund for the tyre I had had fitted.Thanks to the assistance of the Station Manager, Mr. Jasper Nhira, I have since received a full refund. He answered my emails promptly and courteously and I wish to express my satisfaction with him and his staff. Holly at the Tulsa Airport location is great every time I reserve and obtain a vehicle. Her customer and expertise are the reasons why I continue business with Alamo.
My flight was delayed for 30 minutes, and they would not wait for me. I ended up uber to the Hotel near by for a night. All of that cost me an extra $180. I would never rent from this TUL location again.
