Our home has been flooding for over 2 months. Laura Grijalva rather try to sell the property then have it properly fixed putting a family with children in danger of mold that is growing in the walls . This situation could have been taken care of months ago when it first began but they even canceled our maintenance request after a disagreement in her office. Leaving my family and I flooding for the next few weeks. They even suggested we move out even though we just signed our lease in July 2021, and us having NOWHERE to go. Everyone beware because its been such an exhausting, stressful, depressing experience. I even went to the hospital 3 weeks ago from how bad this situation is affecting us.Please beware

I am a current tenant and I am absolutely disappointed with the maintenance requests and how things are handled through their “contractors”. The AC in our unit has serious issues. Some days it works great, other days its 82 degrees when it’s set at 73. We were told a couple days ago someone was coming out. We weren’t notified if they did or not. Our house is still way above what it’s set at. I know my name posts with this and I hope they see that one of their current tenants is extremely unhappy. I pay my rent before it’s due, I keep the place very clean inside and out, we make way above what is required, have great professions and yet, get treated like idiots when we ask for help. They wouldn’t even offer to pay for a hotel if we had to stay somewhere because it was too hot in here to stay. Our electric bill is through the roof which I think they should pay for but I don’t even want to ask because even though they are at fault for this I know they will not be reasonable. I really thought we would love it here but it turns out they are a great disappointment.

Stop deleting your reviews Laura Grijalva! I 9nly put a 1 star because 0 is not available! There is a young couple with 3 children who have been dealing with flooding in their unit and Grijalva Realty has done nothing to help them! Its been over over two months now and Laura Grijalva hasnt done anything to fix the problems. Instead she is asking them to vacate. Why? This family have no where to go. Theyve replaced their girls furniture twice!

We were turned down because of low credit scores. You might be good rent paying people but... Seems like no one is willing to give you a chance if your credit score is low. Were a family of 7 never miss paying rent, so who gonna give you a chance. I wont say nothing negative about them. They did show us a place. It cost us 180.We cant afford to pay these applying fees for a one time fee. God Bless them.

Strange thing just because I didnt have money saved in my bank account, Double of what the rent amount was, I was denied and told, I can never Apply again . Where is the customer service, instead of saying, dont give up, Hopefully tell u have some savings, will Love to help u dind a home best of Luck, something, No customer service, So say I saved to buy a house, they sell houses also right, well bad business, I plan to buy next yr, well Not with them, Theyre lost . Im sure Alot of people hope to buy one day . Theyll always remember, how they got turned away .

Very unprofessional. I corresponded with Luis Espinosa about my rental application and kept being told he would have an answer for me by a certain day and time and not follow through. I feel like I was denied because I had to keep emailing him to get info. The professional thing would have been to email me back after not making the deadline that he set. Ultimately he said I was denied for not having enough money in my bank account. I emailed him again letting him know that I have most of my money in cash and can deposit it in to my account to remedy the situation. He would not respond after multiple attempts.

Bad customer service. dont rent from these people. They will charge you for something they tore up . Doors was falling apart and when you call them to get it fixed. They will charge you to fix it and they boot leg person they hired is the one who did it. sink was stopped up all the time. Be careful not to be late because when its time to renew and you want to rent somewhere else, they want allow you to cause you were late but still paid the rent. They told someone i know that they can renew the lease but gave only a 30 day notice to get out. that wasnt enough time to apply elesewhere an get situated. they lied about the renewal now we are stuck with no place to live because of there lies. if i could leave a million 0 reviews i would. most defintely dont rent from these people. there service is trash and the customer service is horrible. charging all kind of uneccssary fees just because they send a letter out to you . go elsewhere i warn you

Lack of professionalism during written communication. The agent who showed me the property talked me basically into applying even though I was concerned about parts of my credentials and that we were up against other applicants. I agree with previous reviewers that it feels like a scam to get your application fee. All the information about how my application would be considered changed after I submitted it. Please do not be like me and apply without reading the reviews (even if you feel like you’ve finally found the perfect property after months and months of searching).

They will steal your money for application fee with no intention of renting to you. Never explain that you have to have good credit to rent an apt but then deny your application based on a false credit report. They said my credit was 580 when indeed my credit is 623 . I know this because I just got approved for a home loan. They will have 20 people apply for one apartment and without any bases deny all 20 people and just got application fees from all of those 20 people. This place is a scam. Stay away

Well, I got turned down for a beautiful lil Casita only because of a low credit score. Cmon, how are u supposed to build credit if nobody will give you a chance to rebuild it? Disappointed. Didnt rent to me because I didnt have enough money in my bank account. I told them I withdrawal it after my bills are paid because I like to keep cash on hand at all times. It was just very petty and unprofessional. Found something else with Prestige. In my opinion, dont bother wasting your time with the company.

The rental next to my place is managed by Grijalva Reality. My recent neighbors gate collapsed in the back and Grijalva took forever to fix it. I found out my neighbors had and reported existing issues with insect pests and a water pipe issue that was not taken care of before they had moved in. My neighbors were quiet, very clean, personable, and only moved due to the poor management and lack of existing upkeep on the property. It is very concerning. I hoped that there would be signs that they would work with the owner to fix the existing issues with the property before renting to someone new but there is already a for rent sign up.

Cherry Picking? OR a SCAM to get application fees? 1179 Sonoita (Renters beware) Too good to be true,...it is. I feel redundant here, but as others have said I think this is a scam I agree! They told me a week before Christmas that there was app in but it was on hold. I hurried and sent in my $60 app fee. Was denied for bad credit. Then I called and spoke to Luiz and asked him if it would help if I had a co-signer. He said YES it would. So I paid another $30 to have my boss co-sign for me. Then it was denied for low income (which I met the 3xrental rate) and they said they went with another applicant. If they would have told me that UP FRONT!!! I would HAVE NEVER PAID ANOTHER $30.00 for a co-signer. OH! and the place is still on FaceBook and AZRedirental.com for rent. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM!

This is hands down the worst rental company. I advised them of a mouse infestation in the units due to it is a multi unit complex and they told me that’s my problem. After having to get legal help they fixed the issues on the exterior which let the mice in but refused to fix things such as the oven that was completely unusable after the mice had deficated in the insulation.. again saying it’s my job to clean it.. after several complaints the health department warned them but due to a small clause of “ you take care of pests” there was nothing that could be done. I warn anyone who rents with them do not do so

I have rented an apartment for 4 years and can usually deal with unresponsiveness on Grijalvas part when it comes to maintenance requests. Now Ive reached my end and will submit a 30 day notice because of new neighbors downstairs. I have knocked on their door twice and asked that they stop playing music after a certain hour but they continued. I called late at night and left several voice messages with Grijalva requesting help and never got a call back. I called the office on Monday morning (after having left a voice message Sunday night at 11 PM) and spoke to Adrian who couldnt give an answer on whether the neighbors had received a notice and if they did, when. He said he would send something (maybe drop it off? mail it? idk) it was hard to understand him and he was not clear at all about what they can or cant do. Im not asking for a miracle where Grijalva can magically change these pea brains but their music was thumping until midnight tonight. I work from home, have an early meeting tomorrow. It would be nice if Grijalva could communicate back about what to do, what they can do, etc. My only resort seems to be to call the police but that just seems like itll open the door to retaliation. I already tried, I expect the property manager to mediate but that doesnt happen and the neighbors continue to push. Ive stomped my feet, prompting them to come upstairs and ask me to stop. Its ok for them to make noise, I see. The guy sneezes or laughs and I can hear him and for some reason, they believe that I should put up with their noise. I can provide a timeline of various contact made to Grijalva- just know you wont get any call backs and that you have to be on them if something goes wrong.

If I could give them a Zero I would. Do not rent from these people. They do not fix things are dangerous even though they are aware of the problems. They are by far the worst reality company I have ever worked with. I am looking into taking legal actions against them, since they have not fulfilled their part of the lease and that house was not safe for my family. They also claim that they have no lease. We had been there and paying the amount agreed on our lease for 8 months! Until i started complaining when things started to literally fall apart. Then next thing ya know... they lost are lease, put us on a month to month lease so they could charge us more and have the ability to put us out whenever it would have been convenient for them. So we found another home before they could. We were great tenants and will continue to be, for a better company.

What a horrible company it looks like and with no owner feed back to these negative comments?Hey Laura thanks for your response I dont know if you are aware but your company has a 2.1 star rating out of 152 reviews why would anyone want to rent a property through your company. 2.1 stars is a company to avoid at all costs. I look for companies with at least a 4 star rating or higher. With that low of stars you need to reevaluate the way your company is run.

This is an absentee realty company - they don’t answer any communications be it their own site maintenance requests, Facebook messenging, emails, phone calls. Check out their yelp reviews. Bad! I will continue to update my determined attempts to get a response from this company. Last attempt - sent a direct email to Ed, one of their realtors. No response as with other attempts. Moved in one month ago and it has been one problem after another. I might have reacted differently if I had lived there for months. One example, irrigation system totally non functional. Their repair company, DR maintenance cleaned out the unit. It now works but he didn’t look at any of the drip lines. Hired my own landscaper who came out and replaced most of them. Bushes had already started turning brown. Blinds don’t work, tub leaks, water softener is filled with moldy water, big tub of rotting vegetation and old items in back yard. Maintenance man said that the last tenants did all their own maintenance. Nice- I have moved into a fixer up home. The owner gets the tax and appreciation benefits while I work on their home. Hmm,Update - Notice the companies response? There are several work orders on file that have the word cancelled next to them. So yes you can submit them but they wont call or respond. Also they say they answer the phone. They do every once in a while, and the staff member says she has told the broker and that they will go back. But they dont. They also suggest email which as I mentioned I have used. So this is just another boilerplate response. I still have not heard from them!

Every single time the person on the phone promises to get a resolution and call me back. Low and behold, a week later I have to call back. Same story. 4 months of weekly calls over less than $200. They take your 30 dollars and the staff tells you 3 different things and they dont do a fist come first serve they pick through several applications and choose by who makes the most money their words not mine. They also said you have to have perfect credit if you need a co signer so save your money folks cause they have a shady way of doing business. This is the second time I have tried getting a place from them and got a thanks for your 30 dollars but we just rented that place. Ok so I ask is their other places? Sure for another 30 dollars and if someone makes more money than me and wants it I am s.o.l again. Shame on this place for this. If someone makes 3 times the rent and looks at a place first then they should have first dibs. You keep stealing peoples money. We really wanted one of their properties. We met everyone of their criteria. They gave lame reasons that we had a solution for. We have a stellar rental history and a steady income. We offered to pay a bigger deposit, offered a cosigner, si, montgs up front, and then even the entire lease up front. They said that they wont do it because the rent we pay now and the monthly rent of the property was too much of an increase. Like they are trying to stop people from upgrading for their families sake. When still declined i asked to speak to the manager (what a karen, i know) i was told that she personally denied it and wouldnt speak with us. Oh, and they kept our 60 app fee. Im starting to think that is their main income. The application fees. The rudest ive ever been treated while trying to rent a place. If the manager/owner can please get in touch, id be curious to know if shes aware of how potential clients get treated. In the end i suspect it was because we have a 4 year old and a 1 year old. Blatant discrimination. Check out ALL their other reviews. not one nice thing said about them. If i owned this company i would clean house.

Be careful when you deal with these people. I applied for a place, application was approved but they said they were going to go with another applicant and sent me info on another rental they had in the area. I couldnt get into town to actually look at the place but was instructed to put a refundable security deposit down to hold the rental. Then they instructed me to sign this BOGUS document which states that if I dont want the apartment after viewing it, that I forfeit my security deposit to them. BEFORE I EVEN GOT TO SEE THE UNIT. They told me they would refuse to show me the place UNLESS I signed and got aggressive over the phone. Ive requested my deposit back, they told me I can pick up a check next week. Ill update with how well that process went 🙄*edit - Idk who answers phones there because its literally a different person each time, but there is one especially aggressive female that makes everything so much harder than it needs to be. Anyway, I got my money back so I guess they can have their 1 star

This place is a scam. Many houses for rent and no one to rent them. We are staying with family after being on the road. This place rejected our app for not having a current rental agreement, and no money in the bank. Hello, this is why we are looking for a place to rent 🙄And who cares what we have in the bank as long as our bills are being paid, did you ever think maybe that’s why there is no money in the bank? 60 bucks for our applications and this info we already gave to them. What was the $60 for? The house we wanted us still sitting there for rent, I’m surprised anyone can rent from them. Zero stars if possible.

I have copied and pasted my review from Yelp, because I want as many people as possible to read and be informed of the terrible mess they will be signing up for when they lease with Grijalva. I agree with other tenants below: If I could give 0 stars, I would.I have rented on two separate leasing occasions from Grijalva Realty, and each time has been a nightmare. For starters, every single person working at the Grijalva office lacks professionalism. My husband was actually speaking with a Grijalva representative today and was asked at one point during the conversation, So whats your point? in a rude manner. That was the final straw for me. When someone is talking to you in a reasonable tone trying to find a solution to a problem, it is unreasonable to be rude and sarcastic during the conversation.On top of their unprofessional attitude, they are not very punctual when it comes to having work-orders completed for issues within the home. There have been numerous occasions where I have called regarding a problem (A/C, garbage disposal, etc.) and been told that a worker will contact me later in the day. Most times no one ends up calling, and, when I call back to let them know, someone else will tell me that a work-order was never created for the issue. There is a complete lack of communication and it seems like the workers just make stuff up as they go. One time a plumber failed to show up 4 days in a row. When I called to request a different plumber be sent out, I was rudely informed: Thats the only plumber we use, so youll just have to wait. Fast-forward 2 months later when a leak is discovered in the wall. That same plumber was contracted and never showed up (again- shocker). We called to inform Grijalva of the no-show and we are told: Oh we can just contract another vendor, then. I am tired of these workers lying and making stuff up on a regular basis and getting away with treating the tenants awfully.PLEASE: DO YOURSELVES A FAVOR AND DO NOT RENT ANY PROPERTIES THAT ARE MANAGED BY GRIJALVA.

I submitted an application for a listing and they denied it and did not notify me, I had to call them several times and ask for a supervisor to get answers. They denied my application due to not having money in my bank account. Even though I make 37 thousand a year and the rent was only 825, I have a fair credit a score of 622 and 48 months of on-time payments on my credit, a clean criminal record, and no evictions under my name. They are a scam and make a profit on denying applications and discriminated me for being a single mother and only having my older brother as a support system.

We have lost well over 200 US dollars of food due to the refrigerator compressor not cooling it. We have had a maintenance request up on their website well over 60 days. With out a prier agreement, we would not be compensated if we replace or fix the problem. Property Management like this needs an Enforcement breathing down their neck to get anything done.

This is the worst place to try to deal with. They had a house I was really hoping on renting, and I have great credit. I paid the application fee,and all I got was screwed. They never ran my history or credit. I know because I have a credit monitoring service. When I called to get a status of my application, I was told by the rudest woman on the planet we still reviewing applications, hold on. So I hung up cause she was so rude. I found out 2 days later they rented the house out, and never told me. They charged me 30 dollars just to waste my time. Dont trust these people.

The worst place you can rent at. I wouldnt even want to give a 1 star. I was a previous tenant . I should have known the worst was to come when i first came to move in and there were roaches infested dead in home. i rescheduled to move in due to them supposed to address the roach issue. they dint due anything . it was the worst 12 months rental. For the first 6 months i was killing 40 roaches a night, it was the worst, stressful, living there, Im paying my hard earned money for rent and they dint take care of anything . i have addressed the issues with nonstop calling about the roach issues. They should have been charging all the roaches for rent since theyve lived there with me. Even the manager Laura wouldnt due anything . I would never recommend this place to anyone. They look for charges to charge you, even at moving out when i cleaned the apartment and cleared it out . they charged me for the apartment being the worst ever. i should have left it filthy and left items if they can actually work for the money. Really unprofessional. Took money for an application then refunded it immediately because the property was no longer available. Waited 5 days for nothing. Had to call multiple times and finally on the 3rd try, i reached someone who finally knew about the application. He said oh we refunded you the money back for the application... 😏 i work for a dental office and that would be unacceptable to not inform someone of any changes to their account. Im moving in from out of state and tried to see a few rentals while I was in town. They rescheduled multiple times and called me three times in two different airports on my way to for in. Ended up waiting over an hour outside before bailing. If they are THIS bad at scheduling showings, I cant imagine how bad they might be at listening to tenants and maintaining property. Ive heard from many locals that they are a nightmare. I guess its good they cant even show me the place. Dodged a bullet, maybe?

So context I was evicted for non payment as I went through a rough patch. Maintenence is a now-show most of the time. And follow up to get them is phone tag/pulling teeth. I payed them the money I owed them 2 years ago and I have the receipts and they still havent reported that to the credit agency so that is impacting me trying to get a house now. Dont go through them.

I had a fantastic experience with Grijalva Realty. They responded quickly to my calls or emails, and the portal to make payments is awesome. Laura was always open to communication, and the 2 months out of my year contract that I had a problem making rent on time, she worked with me and we had an excellent report (I will say whenever I approached Grijalva with my knowledge of a late payment I had all my ducks in a row. Like hospital bills etc to collaborate my reasoning and the action plan I would take) they absolutely just want to be communicated to respectfully (which can be difficult when you are streaming mad over something) but they will work with you. Very incompetent careless and unorganized staff. After having much difficulty providing my proof of income I finally got what I needed to do my application process. Before I gave them all necessary documents I asked if the apartment I wanted was still available and it was. However I was not informed other people were applying for the same apartment. I was told I would have an answer in a few days. After I got tired of waiting I called and they told me someone else had gotten approved. And there was nothing they could do. I wasted a week of my life and $30 dealing with Grijalva. I understand application fees are not refundable but I also assume its there job to let you know if there are others applying for the same apartment.

BEWARE: We looked at a place available for rent and was told there was a $30 application fee. We asked if anyone else was applying and was told yes but they have pets and pets are not allowed so they cannot rent. Dropped off the application and nonrefundable fee and within hours was told they rented to someone else. In our opinion, they knew the place was not available but were not going to pass up an easy nonrefundable $30. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY, IT IS A SHAM.

This is by far the worst company Ive had to deal with. Place was filthy when I moved in and they said they would clean it. Didnt provide a water bill to me for 8 months, while I called and asked about each month. Still havent received a bill and Ive already moved out. One of the workers broke the fence slats when they were fixing the roof and they are trying to charge me for it. This company is seriously the worst! I had a work order to fix the toilet from running for 7 months! 7 months! What he hell?! Went down there multiple times and no one ever came. The last time I went they stated that they couldnt refund me for water bill for the months it was running because I didnt write down the names of the people I had spoken to. This company is a joke. Never rent from them. Still waiting on a bill for the water a month after Ive moved and given them my new address. This company is a disgrace. Save yourself the grief and find someone better.

I deeply regret renting from Grijalva, I have never before rented from anyone who cared so little for their renters (which is saying something). They also misinformed me on many counts many times and I had to spend hours calling them just to get a simple answer about something. Some of my complaints include the following:The apartment was not clean when we moved in and we were charged over $100 upon moving out to clean the stains out of the carpet when they were already there before us.I was shown where parking was for the property, but when I moved in and started parking there I received angry notes from the complex next to us saying I was parking in one of their spots. It took me a week of calling every day before I spoke to someone at Grijalva who actually knew where we should park, and we ended up not having parking at that location and had to park on the street. I would not have signed for the apartment if I knew I was going to have to park at a nearby street every day.When we moved in the gas and electric were supposed to be on, but they were not, and we had to live there for 5 days without hot water or electricity, which is pretty miserable. We also happened to move in during a cold snap in February so it was terrible to not have heating or hot showers or be able to wash dishes.We also had a list of problems with the apartment to be fixed when we moved in, and by the time we moved out several of them still had not been fixed even though I had called at least once a month and they assured me they were going to fix them.Overall, I found the staff to be rude and unhelpful about half the time I interacted with them, and frequently it seemed to me like no one really knew anything there and they were just trying to get me to leave so they could move on to another task.I would not rent from them again.

Me and my girlfriend looked at a house that was up for rent and as soon as we got back home we filled out an application to rent it, we were told we would know if we got approved for it in 3 to 5 business days. A full week went by and no call, so we decided to call and check on the status of that application and they said they forgot to call us back just to tell us that the house was taken, and they funny thing is that it was still posted on their website and on Facebook when we called. Now even tho they failed to call and let us know about the house, we though they would be fair enough to refund the $60 fee that we spent on the application, but they refuse to do so. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!

This company is a nightmare. Awful customer service, not helpful in anway. The home they rented to us is in shambles. Gas leaks, plumbing issues, burst uninsulated pipes, all within the first two weeks, not to mention the price changed twice before we moved in. The home was so filthy and smelly we had to clean it ourselves multiple times, maintenance has had to come multiple times because nothing is correctly put together, then we recieved a call asking us to put in one single work order rather than as it happens like its our personal problem theyre cheap. Would love to do online payments if it wasnt $26 processing fees. If it wasnt for their sweet agent Mary company would likely fail. I would never reccomend this rental management company to anyone. Less than a month and Ive already turned in the 30 day notice to leave at the end of the 12 month lease.

This is the worst rental agency ever. Slum lords is way too nice of a term for them. The place we moved into was nice and the price was fair, but thats because nothing works and they refuse to fix anything and they are constantly rude and condescending. I have been without a working toilet, AC, or dishwasher for over two weeks now. Each person at the company defend each other in there wrong doings so there is no one reasonable there to speak to. At this point, I am forced to deduct rent the very fist month. Honestly, Id sue them if I could. DO NOT WAIST YOUR TIME, MONEY, AND SANITY ON THESE DEGENERATES!... The owner posted the comment below after I posted my comments above, but never contacted me or tried to solve my problems in any way. This company is now trying to evict me for deducting the rent from the period of time I did not have working AC and plumbing. These people are con artists with a business license. I am going to have to go to court against them just to uphold my credit and rental history. That means I am going to miss a day of work, and go through the hassle of preparing and presenting my case against them. I am not concerned about the outcome, as I have documented each step of this process, but I do not want anyone else to have to go through this. No matter how good of a deal or how nice of a place, do not work with these people. I will expose them through local media as soon as the court proceedings have concluded, but until then, you have been warned. Good luck to all those that are currently dealing with similar issues.

Theyve always kept their word with me theyve always been very punctual, and any issues that ever arose they were prompt to address them immediately and resolve them in a timely manner . Made appt to view home at 1234 Sycamore.Was met by Celeste who was so rude.She didnt want me to touch the security bolts that were on the walls.How can I inspect a home if I cant touch.I didnt have a wrench,I wasnt going to open it without one.I could not get the back door opened,when I asked her she replied if you cant open it then neither can I.I advised her that my wrist is hurt she opened the door.I called Grijalva and advised of her rudeness,she had a very unfriendly personality.I advised the company that I would never deal with her again.They lost a potential customer.I feel bad for the homeowners who deal with them.

I moved in to a Grijalva Realty property on Jun 26. It has been a bit over one month. Last week I saw two roaches as big as my thumb - I was terrified. I came from another state and number one I did not have roaches in my home and Grijalva is telling me they will not spray to remove these nasty pests from my home where I pay a high dollar rent.I still have the lock box on my door knob which should have been removed when I moved in. The condo is nice but customer service stinks.

The house Im renting wasnt really ready when I moved in. I have to deal with spiders, sewer roaches and mice. The ceiling in my living room and bedroom are sunk in, my shower is only 2x2, my fence needs to be replaced. It took a month to get both sinks fixed, 2 weeks to get my window a/cs and it took a month to replace my back screen door. Plus they dont do transfers with their own property. This company is a dam joke. On another note I put in 3 maintenance repair requests for my heater in January to have it fixed due to a carbon monoxide leak and a Technician finally showed up on Monday 3/10 to fix it and still not fixed. I sent them a letter in the mail stating the issues and that Im giving them notice and was told my notice wasnt proper. I was hit with $550 for breaking my lease, I have to pay for April. This company is worthless.

They took my $25 for an application fee on a house and said it would take 1-3 days to hear anything back. Its been over a week and nothing. I keep calling and they keep transferring me to voicemail or telling me theyll call back. Ive left messages, but still have yet to hear anything back. If they dont get back to me soon, I will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau and with the police for theft. This isnt how you run a business.

This place is very unprofessional and rude!! My fiance and I applied at 3627 E. Monte Vista #C and when we had went to the showing the place was ok but the cabinets were terrible. We were told that the owner would be replacing the cabinets and we applied for Luis to email me telling me that we were approved but the owner will not replace the cabinets and the unit is, as is. When I told Luis that we simply applied because of the cabinets being replaced he told me well the owner changed his mind yesterday and whoever is the receptionist, needs to just quit her damn job. If you dont like your job, QUIT!!! Very rude and has no customer service at all...The only reason why you guys are opened is because of us! It may take a few phone calls or emails to get some repairs done but overall a great company. We just moved into another house with this company despite some problems we have had with them in the past. So no, they do not receive the award for worlds best company but there not that bad since I am picky and signed another lease with them again. The owner Laura was really nice and since we have had prior problems really went out of her way to fix it right this year.

Wish I could give negative stars they dont deserve 1.Worst place ever to rent from stay away. They do not fix issues in the house when u put a work order in. All u get it a run around. Also when u move out they give u a list of things to clean etc everything on the list was done correctly and signed off by the person that did the final walkthrough but yet they still take money from u saying u did not clean this or that and lights dont work even though the final walkthrough was signed saying everything is working and was cleaned properly. The public needs to know that this place is garbage stay away from them.

Rent an apartment if you must. From the day we moved in their agent didnt check the fire alarms because she could not reach, said the cabinets were just derailed... We went about a week without a water heater in the middle of winter and they never even called us back. After moving out, which we moved out before our lease was up because we bought a house, we were told to turn in the keys asap when we had already paid for the last month. We were advised to not worry about cleaning too much ( which we did) only to be to be charged for cleaning, also were charged for the cabinets we mentioned when moving in. They will calculate enough things to keep your deposit, and if your as unlucky as we were they will tell you they mailed your deposit to the old address which they had rented already, then we were told to wait until the check came back in the mail. This went on for 3 months until we finally were told we werent even getting a deposit by the most unprofessional person ever. Do not waste your time with this place.

Literally the worst rental company imaginable! Avoid at all costs unless you wanna get scammed. None of the employees know how to do theyre job properly. This means that they do NOT know how to enter in leases properly in the system. We were screwed out of our 9 month lease and forced on a year lease. Just for them to say that they entered in wrong in the system, so we had to be charged more and put on a month-to-month lease. Then they lost our money order for this rent payment (we have the money order receipt and a receipt from the office), now they are trying to evict us because another one of their errors. On the positive side, we are filing a lawsuit against them for all of the money they scammed us out of :)

Dont expect your deposit back!! My son and his roommate rented a place for 1 year. They said the carpet had Oil and it had to be cleaned for $167! They had charges for things that were not legitimate. The apartment was cleaned prior to leaving, but was told they had to charge cleaning fee of $130! Rip off!!Ive rented in the past and never had my deposit stolen like this! Dont rent from Grijalva unless your desperate!

Worst place ever!! 1st time going there and last time going there. Luis in the front is down right the rudest person ever. Half the office dont know whether they are coming or going. Celeste is not at all the person in charge. We explained to her our bad experience we had with her staff and she just rushed us and solved nothing. We still put in our applications and got denied for poor credit which is something I dont have. Definitely consider going somewhere else before even going here or better yet Dont even think about this place to go to for a home.

The worst customer service ever I call every day for a month and cant get my stuff fixed at all no cooler in 117f weather mice infestation that they must of known about there in the walls. I honestly would not give this reality anything. I wasted my time on a rental that was rented out from under me. They are very unprofessional. Just read all the reviews! They have more bad than good! Im so glad I didnt waste my money on an application fee! This place should be reported to the Better Business Bureau. I think Ill just do that now! Dont waste your money or time with these people. They could care less about your needs. Ha! Rated a 1.9 and yet Laura still argues with only SOME of the comments! I understand the screening process but if someone qualifies for a home why would you turn them down? Grijalva Realty should be called If I like you Realty. Apparently taking more than 1 application for one home is against code and is illegal. My boyfriend and I turned in application for a home to find out there has been 2 other applications already and they were going to see whos a better fit. They told us we would know within 2 to 3 days and we never got a call so we called them. They said wed know by that day or Monday and again didnt get a call. We got a call Monday just for them to say they havent came to a decision that theyd call us by 10 that day. Again they didnt call so we went there and I guess no one was in. They ended up calling us Tuesday afternoon to say we werent approved. Its very frustrating to have to move out a certain day and to find out what they did was illegal

There is a reason for all the terrible reviews. Please, please, please stay away from them! Dont believe the handful of good reviews or the replys from management. They are slum lords and will find the tiniest reason to keep your money or at least part of it even if the place is cleaner and in better condition when you leave then when you moved in. Im not the type to leave reviews normally, but people deserve to know how bad it is before they choose.

Laura Grijalva appears to be a great advocate for the home owner, so-so for the renter. They rented the property with several problems. Mostly fixed within the first month of occupancy, requiring maintenance people to enter several times. Several issues were left as-is... I updated my move in checklist, emailed a copy to someone and on move out get charged for replacing preexisting problems. I didnt have photos of the problems at move in... so after 2 months of no real response or action, Im leaving this thumbs down review everywhere an interested party can read it.
