Jason came out to replace missing tiles. He had to cut each tile and he was very careful with the surrounding tiles and did a terrific job, even left us the unused uncut tiles in case we have future problems. This company also replaced our pump and filter about 2 years ago. Great price and professional installation. My experience with e-konomy has been excellent with every interaction.

E-Konomy pools did any absolutely fabulous job on my pool. I hired them to clean my tile and to acid wash my pool plaster along with changing out my sand filter. Jason, Eric, and the entire crew were extremely professional. They showed up on time, explained the process and made sure I was 100% satisfied. I would highly recommend them. Used this company for almost 2 yrs. We had a price increase which was unjustified. We observed the person looking after our pool and he was only here for less that 10 min each time. We wound up cleaning the pool ourselves. We all started to get skin irritation and rashes so we took water samples to a reputable place and the results were at a dangerous level. If your people arent trained properly, they should be required to take water samples back to the office and have it tested. Had they done this with our pool, I wouldnt be writing this review. I hope you take this constructive criticism and make your company better.

Great family run business that you can trust. They will give you true results if you have your water tested, unlike the other National brand pool store in town.

I had them install a new variable speed pump to replace an old single speed pump. Technicians showed up early which normally would not be an issue but I had to take my children to school so that was an inconvenience. The main issue was with the billing. I was charged for a wiring harness 3 times when only one was used. I contacted the company about 5 times and they would argue and that it was correct even though the overbilling was in black in white on their invoice. I eventually decided not to deal with it and the frustration was not worth my time. I would not recommend this company since they are difficult to deal with and take a very long time to return calls.

I buy their liquid chlorine. 4 gallons in a plastic tub (small returnable deposit for the tub.) Call and prepay, pull up, call to let them know Im there, they come out, take old tub w empty gallons (yay, cutting down on plastic in landfills) and put new tube w full gallons in the car. Around $21 for the 4 gals in tub. And they have a punch card for a free gallon after so many purchased. Plus theyll take your water sample in, test it and bring results to you in the car. Of course you always have the option to walk in instead. Great people, great service

It took over a week to get an estimate to replace a pump, motor, and backwash valve. I had to keep calling to see what the status was and they couldnt find my information or they gave it to the wrong person. I left a message with one of the owners to call me back and nothing. I searched for chlorine tablets tucson and the 4th result was for 25 percent off 50 lbs at E-Konomy. Clicked on the link and an ad popped up for the offer, with no expiration date. Drove to the store and got, Oh, thats an old ad. I pointed out the lack of expiration date and got a shoulder shrug.

Steve and the whole team at E-konomy are amazing... They make you feel like family from the minute you walk in the door. I’m a former employee. I only left do to my own personal issues. From the first time I walked through the front doors they made me feel like family. I finally felt like this could be my retirement job. Steve is one of the best bosses I’ve ever seen and I had been through multiple jobs and industry’s prior to this job. He always made sure everyone on his team was taken care and heard.. The whole team was always very friendly and willing to go above and beyond for one other. You just don’t find work atmospheres like that anymore.. So if your in the pool industry and looking for a job or a consumer looking for a new service company there’s no question these guys are the real deal hands down.

Called to inquire about a product and alternatives, received very professional and courteous information - actually suggested that based on my usage that I may not need additional products. Rare to find a business that would rather give you honest information than make a sale, would not hesitate to work with them for my other needs.

Employed this company for 2 years to maintain my pool. Randomly had a problem the last 2 weeks, had 4 people out to look at it from the same company, each with a different suggestion as to the problem. One guy was supposed to fix it, showed up, created a leak and left never telling anyone what he did. One guy was supposed to put on a new gasket, used it on someone else pool instead and again never informed myself or my husband. Called somewhere around 10 to 15 times after discovering the last guy created a leak, finally got a window for someone to show up and fix that leak and no one ever showed up or called. The complete and total incompetence and absolute lack of communication is enraging. I cancelled everything to do with this company and will have to hire someone else to fix their mistakes. This is only the straw that broke the camels back. Throughout the last 2 years weve had countless times where no one showed up for the regular cleaning too (which we can clearly see as we have multiple security cameras around the exterior of the house). So unreliable, cant believe they stay in business with this service.This is an addendum to my original review:After the above described craziness I was contacted by one of the owners/managers who apologized and sent out his best tech Mark to fix everything with my spa and pool at no charge. Everything is finally working smoothly. Still a bit bitter about the entire thing but pleasantly surprised there was a happy ending.Repeat addendum:Welp, turned on the spa, didnt work and got the exact same error message and its still leaking. Am so over this company.

Very easy to find what you need for your pool needs!

Tried to get quote for pool service. They said they would have to come and see the pool to quote. Over a week and a half has gone by and they have not called to schedule the inspection. I called to check on status and was told they couldnt tell me when they would be able to inspect and would have to just wait until they could get to it. Poor customer service.

Pool Pump specialist James found the problem with my pool pump quickly and replaced the broken part. He and his assistant Eric also pointed out some other potential problems and showed me how to better maintain the pump, pool sweeper and water quality. Their service technicians need a lot more training. We keep giving them chance after chance, thinking that maybe the bad experiences we had in the past were just one-off situations but we’ve had repeated issues with techs not finishing the job, not willing to show us how to use the newly installed/repaired equipment (last year when we asked the tech if he could show us what to do, his literal response was “read the manual, you’ll figure it out”), and now this year we’re having issues just getting a call back from anyone. We’ve been able to get in touch with employees at the store and they keep telling us that someone will call back the same day but that has yet to happen. I guess it’s time that we take our business somewhere else more reliable, just wish we would have made that after the first bad experience

The technicians at E-Konomy are courteous, prompt, and efficient as well as offer reasonable prices. It is the only pool repair service I use in Tucson.

Left voicemail on 2 occasions asking for the service manager, Steve Archer to call me back. He never returned my call. Very rude and arrogant individual. Daniel and Naelly are the only good office workers they have. The owners are also nice but the service manager ruined it for me.

I do not know what happened to my review on their website, but I will try to convey what my message said. We have been dealing with one of E-Konomy Pools competitors for over a month. Over $600.00 later they still couldnt fix our pool problems. I called E-Konomy Pool and spoke with Mark O. He was friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable about my pool system and the problem I was having. To make a long story short, Mark diagnosed the problem, researched their inventory to insure they had the recommended parts ($100.00), I needed to correct the problem. I picked the parts up and in less than an hour, our pool was and is up and running like it is brand new. We can never THANK Mark O enough for his kindness and expertise. Kudos to Mark and we hope that his knowledgeable and friendly demeanor will be instilled in some of his co-workers. You ROCK!, Mark.

After shopping around, made the decision to hire E-Konomy Pool to replace the sand filter, sand, and plumbing for the filter-our decision was based on availability of what we needed, when we could have the work completed, and of course price. E-Konomy was the best best choice on all three points so was an easy choice for us and their prices were not only better, but FAR better than the other companies that we researched.Now on the the install and service. Our Tech James was excellent, we could not ask for a better professional for the job and HIGHLY recommend E-Konomy and James without hesitation! He was on time, professional, knew his trade completely, and very kind and patient as we watched and asked questions. He worked quickly and did a thorough job that exceeded our expectations! I own a saltwater pool and starting last year they stopped putting salt in my pool and started adding chlorine. I addressed this with the pool cleaning manager and they corrected it. This year the past 2 months the guy cleaning my pool started adding chlorine again. NOT SALT. I called service last Friday and was told I would be called back and I haven’t heard back but I’m pretty sure they have stopped servicing my pool. Just to be transparent and fair I was a bit upset when I called. My other issues have been about repair.. Myn. device that skims the bottom of my pool needed repair they quoted me $150 for parts to repair. I found the parts on Amazon and repaired it myself for $60. Lastly the repair guy called me about my sand filter, he said it was leaking without actually looking at it they quoted me $150. My guess it won’t be that much.

I received a quote of $800 + chemicals saying the pool needed drained, pressure washed, and refilled. I called around for second oppinions and another company got it sparkling clean after 30 minutes of scrubbing, and MUCH less money on my part.The only reason Im giving two stars instead of one is because the service tech that worked on my pump (different department) did a fine job for a fair price.

Recently the packrats got into our hot-tub and destroyed all the wiring. Ekonomy got us the right parts [at the right price] and our tub is up and running well again. Many thanks to Kristina, Scott, Tommy and John. Ekonomy Pools is simply the best.

Not much of a selection AND they bombard you with questions! One employee will leave after asking you 100 questions then you walk two step and here comes another guy asking the same questions and not allowing you to just browse their limited selection peacefully.

Spas hot tub and now that they are out of business and presidential pools took over I cant get warranty repairs or parts.The staff at E-Konomy helped me find the parts I needed to repair my hot tub and got me up and running again.I will be going back to them from now on.

You have to call about some of the techs. They dont do their job properly and let your pool get green and slimey but you get billed anyway. Just SOME of the techs. Not all.
