Certainly the best workout experience Ive had. The coaches have varied backgrounds and share among one another. The communication among them shows as you get excellent programming of a crossfit gym with excellent coaching. Im glad I found these individuals (not so much the box or the space) because I feel like my body just moves better when Im spending time with these coaches. The payoff is worth it.

This is a newer Crossfit box in the Tucson area. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to start out in Crossfit or for those who have experience and are looking for some excellent coaching. The coaches are knowledgeable and the other athletes are very inviting to newcomers. Cant go wrong here!

Ive been to several gyms in my Crossfit career and Hardvolume has a staff that is centric to working with the human body in a way that spills over into the craft of Crossfit like no other gym. There are 10 core fundamentals of Crossfit whereby two of them are mobility and flexibility...most gyms miss these keys and fail to see how they actually make you perform better. Additionally the staff is creative and have a process to create intelligent-progressive programming that goes into each month of workouts that actually make sense. Ive learned so much about myself and my machine (body) through Crossfit and being part of this gym is next level.

As a former competitive athlete and pretty much lifelong cross-trainer (aka “crossfitter”), I chose Hard Volume primarily for two reasons. First, the coaches/trainers are very knowledgeable and experienced. They all fully understand the human body in terms of physiology, kinesthetics, and general exercise/fitness. Second, the programming of the workouts is focused more on general physical fitness; it maintains the basic, core and key fundamentals of cross-training exercise programs, including mobility. The coaches/trainers provide a lot of individual focus on proper mechanics/technique with attention to each person as needed. In addition to all that, the equipment is good quality and in great condition (no bent bars, etc.), the gym is clean and it’s a very laid back, relaxed environment.

HardVolume is the best CrossFit gym you will ever find. The coaches are all top-notch. They pay attention to everyone in class and offer construction feedback during technical work. This gym is for people of all fitness levels and all ages. Theyve created a welcoming atmosphere that shows in all of its members. When youre new, they take really good care to ensure they understand your fitness level and any concerns you have. Theyve created a holistic program were every week builds on the next and its not just about how much weight you can lift. Its about ensuring that you are mobile, strong, and healthy.

I first visited HardVolume Crossfit while on vacation. Eric was very welcoming and happy to let me use their space. All the coaches knew I had previous experience, but took the time (for the week I was visiting) to focus on my shortfalls and assess what my previous box may have missed. Then, I ended up relocating to Tucson and given my wonderful experience before, there was no hesitation on which box to join. Its a very friendly and supportive environment, no matter your skill level. I have greatly improved on my technique and mechanics thanks to HV and am slowly busting through my PRs. I highly recommend HardVolume Crossfit!

I was introduced to HardVolume CrossFit (HVC) about 2 weeks after moving to Tucson, almost a year ago. Although I was an active person, I never had a strong desire to try CrossFit because lifting isnt my thing and I dont like to workout with a group of people. That all went out the window after my 1st session! I was hooked and signed up to be a member immediately after. HVC has been exactly the thing Ive needed to kick my fitness game up some more! It is more than a typical CrossFit gym - and this is reflected in the class offerings and the knowledge that the coaches posses.I am a big advocate of holistic health and one of the things I love most about HVC is their concern with the person as a whole as opposed to only caring about how heavy you can lift. Their levels of expertise range from martial arts, anatomy and phsysiology, bodywork, nutrition/meal prep, dance, mobility and movement, and much more. I would be remiss if I did not also mention how great the community in general is at HVC. This comunity consist of members of varying ages and fitness levels who care about and push each other to be better. This especially comes in handy in those moments where even doing one more push up seems like too much! So stop taking forever to decide and make the 1st step to at least check out one of the classes offered at HVC. Hope to see you there!
