A good gym with everything you need. The pool has infrequent hours it seems. You can access the gym 24 hours but only if you register your ID card first. Some of the equipment is older but its still functional. This is the best gym on the installation.

Great military gym. Nice facilities and clean showers/bathrooms. Lap pool, cardio room, two weight rooms, basketball courts, the whole enchilada. Can get very crowded from 0600-0900 and from 1500-1900 as military members and veterans workout before or after work most days.

Decent gym, only one free weight room with one squat rack. Locker rooms are standard, basketball court is a nice touch. Hoops are kept in good shape. Have yet to try out the pool, but if you like running on the track they have an indoor one. Unfortunately it looks like its less than a 200m track

This is one of the most welcoming gyms and very motivational to exercise with our men and women serving the country as a civilian. It is one of my favorite gyms ever just because of the amount of people that go there to get things done and not stand around looking at other peoples butts or being judgemental.

Really small and overpacked. Gym staff does not clean bathrooms. No chalk is allowed. Theyre also pretty stingy with the AC as its pretty dang hot most of the time. Only redeeming quality is that its 24/7.

If you are really wanting to train chest, this is the place for you. With roughly 10 different chest press machines and two chest fly machines, they have you covered. If you want to squat, hopefully youre the only one, as like others have mentioned, there is only one squat rack. Also theres no place to deadlift either. Other than that its a pretty standard air force gym.

If you are a retiree you are often not allowed access. Very Frustrating. I travel a lot and have visited the gyms at many bases and DM is the only place that is not retiree friendly (and not just the gyms). One base had me pay a small fee for a special access card, but that was easy and no big deal. But DM is another story. A lifetime of service, 2 combat tours, many other deployments, plus I spend money like crazy at the PX (which supports the gyms) and I cant use the gym??? When I complained to one person, they just said, Welcome to the Air Force. Otherwise, a great gym has all you need. Weird layout, but you get use to it. My issues are not with the gym itself, but with access and the low regard to retirees.

A very well equipped fitness center!! They have a separate weight lifting room and seperate room for weight machines. They have preium Cybex machines. There is a nice lap pool. They have separate area also with treadmills, elliptical, stationary bikes and stairmasters. There is also a nice basketball court also.

Im a retiree and having access to the cardio machines has never been a problem. Its an okay gym. Its crowded in the early morning and mid-afternoon hours because its PT time for active duty folks. I was actually stationed at DMAFB before I retired. So, I know the drill. My only gripe is the gym being closed on weekends. It used to be open on weekends. But, I didnt get the word, somehow.
