A bit delayed with my review, but I wanted to make sure I posted it… Murphy took the beginner training class with Joe a few months ago and the results are amazing! She is so much calmer and her basic commands are on point now all thanks to Joe’s teaching style. We would love to make time to take the next available intermediate class when time allows.

Thank you to Joe for the wonderful hands-on training! Figgy has grown in confidence since we started early this summer and the behavior teachings and new experiences are invaluable. We forward to the next class!

We have 3 Leos and all of them have had their training at PetSmart Tualatin. Joe the Trainer is amazing! Whiskey (10 mo. old) just graduated from Intermediate Obedience- We are looking forward to our next class with Joe- Advanced Obedience. Highly recommend Joe for training!

Poor customer service at the fish dept. Several employees walked by me, not one asked if I needed help, i asked for help said she be back never did. Seemed the employees try to avoid helping. All the fish tanks looked horrible and the fish looks so miserable. Petco down the street was the way to go, Theyre fish tanks were clean and employees helped me right when I walked in the door.

This was the first time I have used a dog trainer. I didnt know what to expect but was hoping that Filbert could learn some basic obedience / attention skills. Joe was our trainer and I was really impressed with his knowledge, patience and attention to detail. There was a lot of repetition and by the end of 6 weeks Filbert was able to sit, wait, look, leave it, take it, and come. I was happy with the results and will be joining the intermediate class

Ollie graduated from another training class hosted by Joe with PetSmart. This go around was the intermediate class and he not only loves Joe, but is much more responsive and receptive. Joe does a great job and we plan on going back for the Advanced class.

This facility is very clean, the staff is very friendly and our pet comes home healthy and happy. GREAT place for your pet to stay while you’re away!

Really enjoyed and learned a lot in the puppy training classes. I took classes at Petco with my other dog which were terrible. Then I took lessons from a private company with my other dog. Due to COVID, that trainer was no longer doing classes. So I tried Petsmart. Petsmart delivered the same kind of training and expertise I got from the private company. Will definitely be doing the advanced training here too.

Joe was so wonderful! He was encouraging and helped us see it’s not about perfection. He was patient and fun and was really available both in and out of classes for our myriad of questions as first-time dog owners. We will definitely be back!

Been using this location for 10 years now. The Banfield attached to the store is the best i have found.The vets and techs have always been respectful and very good with our fur monsters. We have moved over an hour away but still use as our primary pet veterinarian. Will continue to stay here. I would recommend this location highly.. Petsmart itself is where we get most of our pet supplies and will drive the extra distance when compared to a competitor is closer but not as helpful as Petsmart

We had a great time at puppy training class for beginners! Not only did Joe give us great advice and training on working with our puppy, but our puppy got much needed dog socialization in a calm environment!

Ive always had very pleasant experiences at this store. They all know my dog by name. Theyve always had everything I wanted in stock. Its the only place I take my dog for day camp, overnight boarding, and grooming. Never once had a bad experience.

My dog, Sammi, and I just finished the Intermediate Obedience training course at Tualatin Petsmart with Trainer Joe. It was a great experience and he took time to help us learn all sorts of obedience skills. Some of the coolest things about Trainer Joe is that he is patient and upbeat. I cant wait to take another class at Petsmart! I would 5/5 totally recommend!

My daughter and I went to Petsmart today and pick out some new fish. The lady that help use get are fish was GREAT! She was nice and help out and got the fish we would like to get ask use great questions to make sure we had the right size tank and to make sure we new how to take care of them.When we went to check out the lady that was working up front on number one drop are fish on the floor. After doing that she told me I had 14 days to bring them make if any of them don’t make it. I felt they should have return the ones that she dropped in the floor yes they where in a bag of water but still that was hard on them to hit the floor like that even in a bag of water. I hope they make it when I get them home and put them in the tank

I took my six-month-old puppy Oliver in for the beginners dog training with Joe, who was incredibly patient, kind and knowledgeable. After my puppy had his vasectomy in the middle of the course (AND during the holidays), we were forced to miss several weeks worth of training. Joe allowed us to come back the following week into a differently-scheduled class at no cost, and start over fresh. Im happy to say Olivers graduated the beginners course just today, and we plan to return for the intermediate training. Joes a great teacher and PetSmart is lucky to have him.

This was one of our best experiences with dog training classes out of 3 dogs. Joe was excellent as a trainer. We would highly recommend Joe and Pet Smart in Tualatin.

Put my wild pup through beginner training with Joe. He is honest, patient, and very knowledgeable. We saw improvements from our pup after week 1. I would highly recommend.

We did 18 weeks of training with Joe and loved it! He was so responsive and available even between sessions of an issue came up! It was great value for how many sessions we got and we highly recommend!

Very disappointed with our last visit to PetSmart Hotel. It is the first time in years that we have had a problem. Horrible service in the welcoming and our dog smelled like urine when we picked her up. We were also told we had until 9 pm to pick our dog up but they closed at 7 pm. Thank god someone was there after hours to let us pick her up and let us pay the next day. The pick up was much better than the welcome!! Hopefully its better the next time. We will have two dogs next time....

Joe the trainer was awesome! Lifesaver after he introduced us to the gentle lead. Will be coming back for the intermediate class. The beginner class turns out to be more fun and easier than I expected.

So I booked my dog for a bath and brush, and 3 hours before his appointment, I get a call saying they can’t see him due to dog aggression, and while being kenneled waiting his turn, his impatience. Our dog is definitely not dog aggressive, and impatient? Maybe excited, but not impatient.They said he can only be seen via express, so basically get him in and get him out. They also said anytime before they close would be fine, so yeah, we’re ok with that.Then they said never mind, there were no express appointments available. I told them I needed him seen the same day as his appointment, I didn’t care what time, but was still denied. I asked about my original time slot, if he could be seen as express then, and still no.I understand they have policies in place, and I’m all for following them, but when they can’t work with me on an appointment I had to work around my busy work schedule, that’s just not gonna work for me. I will never go back to PetSmart ever again. I hate leaving bad reviews, but one should also not be treated this way.

I took my dog to training at the Tualatin, Oregon PetSmart. I enjoyed the class so much I signed up for a second one. The trainer, Joe, was outstanding. He was creative, patient, and best of all, encouraging. I really appreciated his positive approach and Im having a lot of fun with my dog. Thank you, Joe!

This Dog Hotel has kennel cough running through it and not telling everyone if you had your baby with a coughing or diarrhea thats why 2021 July 15th i know of 24 dogs got sick from a dog that was in thus hotel and Pet Smart Hotels! ALERT 📢 ⚠️ 🚨 📢 ⚠️ 🚨

Staff were very helpful and patient. I witnessed an impressive interaction with a staff member handling someone screaming and swearing at him because he and his girlfriend didnt want to wear masks in the store. He was extremely professional, patient, and kind even when being treated awfully.

Joe has been training my pup for 2 sets of classes now and he’s great. He knows what he’s doing, he’s great with all the dogs, and listens to our questions and takes time to answer them. Highly recommend him!

Puppy training was fun and interactive. Our pup, Trask, was a bundle of energy but Joe helped us learn basic commands and started us on our way to a better behaved puppy. The class was paced well with lots of practice and modeling. This is a really wise investment whether or not you are a first time owner or an experienced owner. Trask thought Joe was the best part!

Was having a problem finding shoes for my dog, that had them, all good now

The manager at Nyberg store was the rudest I have ever encountered! They were charging me $95 for a dog grooming, shampoo, hair & nail trim, ear cleaning and the only thing that was completed correctly was the shampoo. My dog is 5+ and has been groomed always and never have I had this happen before! I will not go back to that store for anything, thanks to the managers poor attitude and service.

Great place to get a bargain on quality grain free pet food.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. I got lizard, parakeets birds and fish from them. Also we use their salon for our dog. We like shopping from this store

Over crowded store, people cutting in front of the check out line, and workers not dealing with those people. I was unimpressed going to this PetSmart for the first time, will not return. I am used to the excellent workers and assistance at the Wilsonville location. As with many retailers, some locations are great, some are not so great.

I live very close by, and have lived here for nearly 20 years, so this has been a place that I go, by default, for certain things like cat litter, cat food dishes, and occasionally certain food or treats for cats.Their selection of cat food and treats is impressive in terms of quantity (lots of variety of brands), but its almost exclusively cheap, low-end stuff. Even Petco is better in terms of offering better quality cat food than pet smart. Unless you are shopping mainly for price, Pet Smart is the absolute worst place in the area to buy cat food unfortunately.My experience there over the years has been very hit or miss in terms of the staff. They seem to have a lot of turnover, and its usually younger people (teenagers, young adults) so its often not a great experience in terms of help or friendliness. One thing has been consistent over the years though is that check-out often takes forever here. I think the main problem is that they are stingy about staffing the check-out stands, so youre likely to be in a pretty long line, which they only sometimes fix by bringing in additional cashier in and open another stand.Their online ordering and pickup at the store is 100% worthless. They dont seem to accurately keep their online synched with their actual inventory in the store, and it takes FOREVER for them get your items ready to be picked up. Id avoid using this feature.Im glad that this petsmart is still around, although its somewhat of a dinosaur and is only good for a limited number of things imo.

My dogs go to Allysa on Walker Road in Beaverton. She is very good with both of them and theyre very comfortable with her working on them.

Terrible customer service--waited in line 20 minutes at 7 pm on a Tuesday because no one would help the one checker. Had to ask two staff to move out of the way after waiting a couple minutes to get past their conversation that was blocking an aisle.

Easy to find stuff and the people really knew their stuff.

Banfield pet hospital in Tualatin is the best I get my pet in quickly I live in Salem but cant get into the Banfield there its about a 45 minute drive for me but Im ok with it knowing my pet is being taken care of

We have a Malamute/Husky mix. During their adolescence, snow dogs may decide on obedience as they go. She is an ADHDog, but we love her. 😉We recently completed the beginner training class. Our class was taught by Marge, the regional trainer. She trains the trainers. She knows what shes doing and it shows.Marge was able to get our dogs attention and keep her interested, then show us how to do the same. You see, the training isnt just for the dog, but for the humans, too.You train your dog in a couple concepts during each class. The humans learn the basics to continue the training at home. Thats important for a dog such as ours, since theres only so much attention she wanted to pay with so much going on.Thank you Marge. We definitely got our moneys worth.

Im giving a two star due to grooming services they provide. My dogs nails were not trimmedAnd she was still kind of smelly. Paid over 60 bucks and tipped $10 SMH. Just wash your dog at home.

Have been taking my dog for nail clip here for a couple years. Always just a walk in. Even since COVID today 01.09.2021 4 in the afternoon the groomer told me I need an appointment. I aske when that changed, she said since the start of COVID. That is a lie. I have been in since COVID. She had one dog and two people. Very rude, poor customer service skills. I talked to the manager and she was no help. If they treat me like this imagine how they treat the dogs. Never again will I do business with Petsmart.

Many reptiles in subpar condition or worse. exposed rusty bolt in fake tree branch in one of their enclosures. store isnt dirty but its certainly not clean. on the other hand, staff is always friendly and the groomers take good care of my dog. these issues seem like a more of a corporate issue.

Their grooming salon is horrible I have tried them a few times and the first two times I had to have the fix my dogs hair cut because it was so bad and I have not used them for awhile I tried again today called a week ago and they could not take my reservation over the phone because the computers were not working so she ask me to do it online so I did and of course when I showed up today they did not have time to cut my dags hair just a bath I told them that is not what a book and one of the ladies there told me i should just call in for my appointments. lol what is really wrong with this place. Its really to bad that they are attached to the hotel and the store cause they are great just the groomers give the rest a bad name...
