Any place can change your oil. Valvoline goes a step further by always being welcoming and friendly. No matter the service the are forthright what you may be able to let slide till next time. Fast and efficient. I really havent been anywhere in Michigan City that can hold a candle to them.

Went to get a oil change and the gentleman helping was very nice. But while waiting for them to finish up he said the guy under the car was having a hard time putting my skid plate back on. A couple mins later he said I was good to go. A few days later I was driving down the highway and the skid plate came loose and was hanging causing a very loud screeching noise. Come to find out it was dragging under my car as I am on the highway . My issue is if they could not put it on properly then they could’ve said something and I could’ve taken it elsewhere to have it put on properly. Now my skid plate is beyond repairable and I have to come out of pocket to get it fixed.

We were trying to get our oil changed in our car, but it was close to closing. We arrived 15 minutes before closing, but was forced to leave in a middle of a snow storm due to the manger cursing us out and threatening to call the cops. We had called ahead and asked to have our oil changed due to it being an emergency, they agreed. We were greeted by curse words, threats & a very rude manager. The manager was cursing and shouting profanities.NEVER will we return nor do we advise anyone else to go here! GO TO ANOTHER PLACE IN MICHIGAN CITY TO GET YOUR CAR SERVICED.

Ive been to valvoline locations around the whole counrty and never had an issue. This location can use some more training. Workers were friendly but not professional like all other locations ive been to.

I had an oil change on Dec. 12. and was wearing a mask the entire time. The first employee came up to my window without a mask. The second had a mask on his chin but not covering mouth or nose. I asked him to step back. At the end when I asked to speak to manager one of the employees approached with a mask. When I suggested that they should all have masks properly worn since they are speaking directly to customers he advised that Indiana does not require masks. As I left the man at the door to let me out had his mask on his chin. When I suggested he wear it properly for himself and customers he yelled that I should leave and not return. I wont and would advise that others not.

Fast service, but high up charge for things

These guys are great. They were busy as hell, and short handed, but I was in and out if there in less then 90 minutes. They checked everything, filled all the fluids, checked the tire pressure, and were very friendly and up best the whole time.

This is a great place for a quick oil change, transmission flush and radiator flush, they were pleasant and were finished in a timely fashion, they were also knowledgeable about what my vehicle needed before I could tell them.

First time I went here for an oil change and my turn signal was out, so I wanted it fixed while I was there. They had to order the part from the Ford dealership and it was a pain in the butt to change, but Dustin went above and beyond to help me and make sure it got done right. Fantastic service. My fluids werent topped off and they didnt tighten my drain plug fully, which caused oil to leak all over my garage. 2 stars because the techs were at least friendly.

Stopped in to get my oil changed ended up getting two of my filters done as well very friendly professional staff prompt service they also helped me with setting notifications on my car for my oil change and tire rotation also witnessed the staff training a newer employee and the way he passed his knowledge onto the younger employee was awesome so many of our younger adults need this type of guidance to learn and become successful in their lives

I guess because ive never paid $50 for an oil change, and being this was my first time going here, I felt they werent as informative about my vehicle as other oil change places. The guys were decent but they definitely didnt try to build a customer relationship which I believeis supposed to result in return business especially if you build trust, I mean you gotta do something more if you want someone to come back and pay $50 for a basic oil change.. just saying

Great Service I and out in 20 minutes

Went for an oil change yesterday, came out to start my car today and noticed ALL of my oil on the floor. Whatever they used to plug it back up was not the original my car had. They did not let me know they changed it or attempted to. I drove like that all the way home without knowing. Now we have to fix it ourselves and change the oil as well. Money wasted.

Prices were incredibly fair and (being a woman) I personally feel intimidated going in anywhere to get work done on my car, always paranoid Ill be scammed Because of the little knowledge I have on parts or whats actually necessary. BUT, this is definitely my new go-to. The employees were kind and respectful and it was actually a pleasure.

Had a few snags ( oil cap broke when they took it off, and the closest place to get a new one was quite a drive so we were here for quite a while)The guys here were very gentlemanly, respectful and awesome. Put oil drain plug on so tight I had to take it off with a pipe wrench and get a new plug. Also when car was taken in they wouldnt fix their own mostake.

When you can get your oil change your windshield wipers changed all the air and all your fluids checked within 15 minutes its a good place to save time. Sure you could do it cheaper yourself but if youre in a pinch for time this is the place to go plus you get a Discount Car Wash
