I am beyond thrilled with my new bathroom. It looks spectacular! The entire crew did an amazing job. Nova Tucker the division manager possess incredible knowledge and is very current on new processes and products. Along with Joe, there is no problem, they can’t overcome. This company is incredible to work with. Professional, honest, responsive, and very meticulous in their work. Great price, great work and great cleanup. I hired Gurr Brothers based on a recommendation. Not only do I recommend them, I am already planning on using them again.

I had a flood the day before Thanksgiving and I just googled and saw that they said be there in 30 minutes so I called and I’m so happy I did. This company has made this process so easy for me. They were on time and made me feel at ease! They immediately to charge and have been going through the process so swiftly! The pack out guys I had Aidan and Doug were AMAZING! My basement was pretty full and they documented and packed all our things and moved them to a climate control storage facility until the reconstruction is done! These two men worked so hard and many hours and did it with a smile on their face! This company is a very honest and reliable company they do everything to industry standards. Working with Doan Restoration and Gurr brothers have been a blessing! I couldn’t ask for a better experience! Both Doan and Gurr Brothers were great companies to work with. They were responsive to my calls and wonderful communicators. Rebecca Skinner, their office contact person, kept us in the loop every step of the way. Nova Tucker, their division manager, oversaw most of the project. He has a wonderful work ethic and was always courteous, patient, caring, and polite. We loved his positive attitude. Both Gurr brothers and Doan Restoration take great pride in their work which was superior. I would hire them again in a heartbeat if I needed their services. Best of all, our basement looks awesome thanks to them. I can honestly say the entire team was a joy to work with from the men and ladies that came the first day after our flood, to the last day when they put the final touches of paint on our walls. They were an awesome team. I would give them a 10 if possible.

I visited and toured the location in Troy Michigan. I was very impressed with the entire operation. Storage units were neatly arranged and clean. The temperature controlled environment was comfortable. The owner and manager were cordial and professional. I would highly recommend this business.

Gurr brothers was part of the team that helped me after a smoke damage incident in my home. I couldn’t have asked for nicer and professional people to work with. They were very concerned with what I needed to help me get back in my home. They didn’t turn down any request. The gentlemen I worked with were Nova,Doug,Aiden and Paxton. Very professional and hard working. Even tho I did not use Gurr Brothers as a company they have hard working people working for them who care about others more than them selves. Aidan who works for them stoped on his way to work and helped me with my car because it wouldn’t start and he stayed with me for 39 min until the tow truck got to me. Like I said they care about others more than themselves

I hired gurr brothers construction the day before Thanksgiving. We had some very strong winds resulted in a huge tree limb to come crashing into my house punching a large hole in roof. Within 2 hours gurr brothers professionals Jason and Earl had my roof patched and weather sealed. Gurr brothers You really saved the day. You guys will definitely be my first call If ever anything like this happens again.

Had some drywall and mudding done in the basement. Jason was excellent and did an outstanding job.

My grandmother lives at a co-op facility in Wixom MI. Their clubhouse was having work done. I believe due to some water damage. While on the job Jason E, one of gurr brothers employees noticed my 70 year old grandmother doing some yard work. He walked over to her with a leaf blower in hand and asked if he could do anything to help her. She was very touched by his act of kindness. He represented himself and his company very professionally. Way to go gurr brothers construction.

We were devastated when our finished basement flooded (about 6”) this year in Rochester Hills. Doan Restoration did an excellent job responding quickly to pump out the water, dry out the basement, and remove any material that could potentially cause problems in the future. Doan recommended we contract with their partner firm, Gurr Brothers Construction of Michigan, for the rebuild of about 1,000 sf. Gurr’s team members — including Rebecca in the office, Nova our project leader, and team members Joe, Earl, Jason, Dave, and Aiden, were all skilled, friendly and committed to our job. Rebecca and Nova kept us informed on the work schedule frequently and were very responsive to our questions. Nova and Joe had creative solutions and great ideas (and were receptive to our ideas) as we refreshed different areas of the basement. It was sometimes a challenge to locate the needed materials during this 2020 COVID pandemic phase in our history, but the team members were persistent in finding the needed materials. They welcomed our periodic feedback throughout the rebuild to ensure they were meeting or exceeding our expectations. We trusted them completely and would work with them again for any future renovations.
