1st time on this cruise. The staff were very friendly and attentive to the guests. The boat was clean and nice. All the food was great and cooked well. I liked the buffet style. The drinks were made so well. SHOUT OUT THE BARTENDERS DOWNSTAIRS!!!! The music and Dj on the upper deck was great. Definitely, plan on returning soon before season ends.

I recommend it, it was my first time doing something like a boat ride. Only boat ride Ive been on was the staten Island ferry and to see the statue of liberty. I would definitely do it again.

We rented the entire boat for our Company Christmas Party and the Team at JP Cruise Line did not disappoint. Very accommodating to our needs. Every Team Member went above and beyond to make our party a night to remember for our Team and their families. The food was excellent and no one went away hungry. A meal selection for everyone’s taste. The Bar Staff always on top of it. And the DJ keeping the party alive spinning his tunes and accommodating all request. Let’s not forget the staff jump starting the dancing...so awesome. This will now be a Titan Tradition to celebrate Christmas and thanking our Team and their families for being so AWESOME!!! You won’t be let down!

One of the Best Dinner cruises Ive ever been on!! Captain Jim is one of the finest hosts anyone could ask for and his staff is as welcoming and as courteous as can be. I went out at night and the Hudson was so beautiful, the dinner was fantastic and the music was great! I had a wonderful time and had an experience Ill never forget!! I would recommend this dnner cruise to anyone!!! Thank you again Captain Jim for making the cruise more of a personal experience for me by inviting me up to the wheelhouse! An experience Ill take with me for a lifetime!! 😀🚤

I have been on the boat many times.. I always have a blast and there food is great.. love there cakes.. there brunch was a great thing for my children. i love there new location the parking garage is much better then the little parking lot they used years ago. i would tell all my family and friends to check it out the prices are the same as anywhere else...

I frequent the JP and am shocked to see some of these reviews. The food is always fantastic, and the staff are attentive and friendly. Ive always enjoyed the cruises, especially the music cruises, and have brought friends along and none have been disappointed. I absolutely recommend the JP for a night out, and would be surprised if you didnt have a great time. I moved to the downtown area for the nightlife, and live on the waterfront as well and have realized those writing the negative reviews have done nothing but hassle the owner of the JP and continue to do so for no reason. Regardless, if youre looking for an enjoyable night out or a change of pace, I highly recommend giving the JP a try, this local business gives you an incredible opportunity to enjoy live entertainment and great service while taking in the scenic views from the Hudson; its a definite must for anyone in the area.

Went out for a 3-hour cruise with the family this past Fathers Day, which included a brunch buffet. Cruise and buffet together costed I believe $33. For the price you really cant beat it. The buffet was great! Plenty of selection, they kept up with it, and everything tasted great. Service was good and the cruise itself was informational and included some great views. Cant beat it, would definitely go again.

Some might say that my expectations for capt. j.p.s cuisine were too high. but when getting on a boat behind a construction site, i think its pretty fair to expect to be wowed. i wont bore you with descriptions of giant rib roasts of beef, painstakingly relieved of all their natural juices, or even the bowl of vinegar and oil soup with pickled lettuce and white tomatoes (a delicacy i had never had before) in lieu of a traditional salad course. but i will bore you with how much i enjoyed the carrot cake. not so much a cake, as a very cold, flour and cream cheese torte with nary the hint of carrot. call me a traditionalist, but i have never thought that carrots belonged in a dessert. i much prefer tons of margarine and corn syrup, thankfully they were able to see to that via their plate of cookies

Refrigerators are always a good time. The crew is polite and helpful. I enjoy the cruises to dance and party.

I have been cruising on the Captain JP for years. This is by far the best local cruise. The food is always outstanding and Ive seen many of the top local bands here, like the Refrigerators and Hair of the Dog. We had a rockin time last Friday night and well be back again this year.

Had an awesome time last week, comedy cruise on Wed night, the Perfect Date Night adventure! Fabulous Food, Great comic, superb trip all around! Highly recommend!!!

Beware! Made a reservation on Saturday for a Sunday afternoon cruise. Unforeseen situation made me unable to go. Made several attempts to call. And it appears that nobody is available to answer calls on Sunday, even though there is a cruise today. Strange since someone was there this morning to process my payment. Will never look into cruising here again.
