They gave us a run around with issues and tried to work on our car in ways with out our permission. Seemed like a smoke show. They also broke the phone clip that was in the car and never mentioned it. Only reason it’s getting two stars is due to the one polite person. This place will never see our business again and hopfully I can help push people towards a better establishment.

TLDR: drove from Montgomery to purchase my vehicle here due to bad experiences at other dealers.I first contacted Bill Jackson in reference to placing a factory order. I wanted to purchase a 2017 GMC Sierra All Terrain in a configuration I couldnt find anywhere. I worked with Keith Baker. I received a very timely response and a price proposal from Keith. He provided me with the best price out of 4 dealers I contacted, on the first proposal.The other GMC dealership in Montgomery ceased all contact when they realized I didnt want to purchase a vehicle from their current inventory. They would not even return a phone call or reply to my e-mails.Keith was very responsive anytime I had a question or wanted a status on the delivery of my vehicle. I finally picked up the vehicle yesterday, and I am very pleased with the whole transaction. I was given a fair price for the vehicle I wanted.If you are looking to buy a vehicle and dont want to deal with the dealerships in Montgomery, it is worth the 40 minute drive down 231. I will definitely be a return customer when I purchase a vehicle for my wife next year.
I just bought a Chevy Suburban from Bill Jackson Chevrolet a week ago. My sales person was excellent however there is a reason for a one star review. Customer support at this place is absolutely atrocious. I am a Florida resident and was told they would overnight my title paperwork within a day or two. I have been on the phone with the DMV several times and they said they haven’t received any paperwork. I then called the dealership to find that they haven’t even sent it out because they where waiting for the finances to come through but was scheduled to go through that day. Two days later I again make contact with the DMV and then the dealer to find that paperwork still hasn’t been sent. So I’ve had a vehicle for over a week that I can’t drive because they didn’t even bother to send a temporary tag. I am a disabled veteran and even with a temp tag doesn’t help with DV benefits of having my permanent plate on. Seems like an exception to policy could be made to send the paperwork to help the situation or that days ago when things didn’t transfer phone calls could have been made to help remedy the situation. Don’t bother responding to this review without a solution otherwise it’s more talk and no action.
Was promised new tires once I purchased a vehicle. 2 of them were put on then I was told I would have to come back next week to get the other 2 put on.. 6 months later and still no tires.. bad business

They dont stand behind there trucks at least on the used ones I know it says as is but when you buy a and you havent even put 500 miles on it and noticed something wrong you call them and ask to at least help you fix it and they just say no I dont even thi k they go through there used trucks to check them out before they sell them I know this because alot of stuff I seen but I have bought alot of trucks from lots of dealers and none of them have refuse to at least help with the problem if there ever was one especially under 1000 miles after you left the lot I would not recommend this place there dealers out there that wants your returning business and its not these people thanks friends in Troy for referring me to them but I wont buy again from them
Everyone is always polite and attentive. However it often takes them a while to complete service so it’s easier to leave your vehicle then stay and wait in it.
The manager needs to stay in the back office. My wife felt belittled, his arrogance and attitude is horrific for a business.

To me that is saying to your clients, screw you if there an issue, not my problem. DEALERSHIPS that do this are making all the money on the FRONT end because they can NO LONGER make MONEY with warranties etc. I WENT TO ATLANTA TO BUY MY TRUCK TO A PROPER DEALER.

Initially, my wife and I went into Bill Jackson Chevrolet on Wednesday Nov, 21 to buy a 2018 GMC 1500, and unfortunately we ended up leaving based upon a bad experience with our salesman and left very disappointed. However, when the sales consultant, Sam Johnson, heard about the situation, he went above and beyond to rectify it and contacted us Friday to make an offer. He was very apologetic and personally met us on his day off Saturday to give us a very pleasurable experience buying our new truck. He truly gives his customers both kindness and respect and is just what any business needs who is in customer service. Very disappointed. I don’t like how I schedule appointment for my car to be repaired then bring it in first thing that morning it sits there all day and when i call to check on it no one has even looked at it. I have brought my car there several times and this has happened several times. I am not Fortunate enough to rent a vehicle every time my car has to be in the shop and I am not able to miss work plus I have kids to get to school. They offer loaner vehicles however on numerous occasions when I have asked for one when I can’t afford a rental their excuse is their always out. The only time I was given one I was practically in tears with my child telling the guy I would be stranded Then miraculously he found a car for me to use. Being a loyal customer and spending the amount of money I spend there I feel I deserve way better service than I receive from them!!
Taken two vehicles to be diagnosed. First job was quoted at 2400 dollars. Took it to another mechanic. 60 dollar fix, absolutely incorrect diagnosis. 2nd vehicle was diagnosed and we were told it needed a new transmission... took it to another mechanic. 150 dollars- just a loose wire. NEVER. Take your vehicle here lest you want warranty work done. Absolute thievery.

Went to see about purchasing a car from here. I asked that my credit be run ONE time with the bank that I wanted it to be financed through. They have run my credit no less than 7 times. I got the excuses that I didnt know they would run it this many times, I wasnt told to only run the credit once., We couldnt get you bank to do what you wanted them to., and my least personal favorite, If you make a purchase all those inquiries will go away. Which is false. I have worked hard over the past year to help get my credit to just above fair, and in a few short hours they were able to take my credit down several points. Will not be wasting my time with these people who do not care about their customers and are only interested in making a sale.
We went round and rounds with this dealer, agreed on a price, then the next day was told they couldn’t do it. Was lied to several times about several different things. We decided to just get the car and be done with it. A few days after we get home with the car, poor work was done to it, and my windshield seal came out and the refuse to do anything with it. Told my husband we were out of luck. Oh and the man that actually sold me my car didn’t even shake my hand or say thank you. We will not be back and don not recommend them to anyone. Spend the extra money and get something the dealer will actually back you on.

Took my car in to have a coolant leak fixed. Got it back with electronics shorted out. They told me the driver window had stopped working during the repairs. A few miles down the road I find out the blinkers and brake lights arent working and neither are the door locks the trunk mechanism and the seat controls. Took the car back waiting to see how much they charge me to fix everything they broke. Will update review if they attempt to make this right.
I havent done business with a car dealership in over (30) years because of the hassle you had to go through just to get the bottom line price on a vehicle. This time it was very different to my surprise.I seen on a web site a 2015 Chrysler Town and Country that Bill Jackson had on their lot in Troy Al.I made a call about the van and asked for a cash walking out the door price.The price and deal was made over the phone to my surprise without any going back and forth.My wife and I drove (130) miles to the dealership the next day and the van was already sitting out front.The salesman that help us and went over all the feature with my wife and I was salesman Mr. Sam Johnson. He was very helpful and patient with us both.Mr.Jamie Myrick the Finance Manager was also very helpful in going through with us and explaining all the paper work.We decided to purchase an extended warranty which Mr Myrick took time to go over the different options that were available to us. He was most helpful in this endeavor.Before we left Mr Johnson seen to it that their people detailed the van and as an added Bonus the dealership gave us a full tank of gas.I know in any business you will come across people that you are unable to please. But not this time.Again I must say this was the best experience at a dealership I have ever had in the over (50) years of buying and trading vehicles,Thank you Bill Jackson in Troy Al.

Five stars is way too low a rating for this place. If I could give them a 100-star rating, I absolutely would. It was an absolute pleasure doing business with this staff! I was essentially looking for the exact same make and model of the car I had, with the EXACT same interior and exterior color, only a bit newer and, of course, fewer miles. At any given time, there are maybe 4-5 of those cars available for sale NATIONWIDE. Slim pickings. I had been looking off and on for a year, just kind of seeing what was out there. I saw that Bill Jackson had someone trade in exactly what I was looking for, and I worked off and on over the course of two weeks with Mickie to set up a visit -- an almost three hour drive for me. Mickie was ALWAYS responsive to my texts and calls. He never left me hanging and went out of his way to provide additional photos when I requested them. I wasnt totally sure I was going to buy the car (I did not sell my other car), but definitely wanted to see it in person. My indecisiveness on that end caused a day full of not-so-smooth sailing in trying to pay these guys for the car (NOT the dealerships fault at all--100% on me.). I figured I could walk into a co-branch of my credit union as I do in Atlanta, get a cashiers check, and move on about my day. Thats where my issues started. I should have been better prepared on that end, and this dealership had every right to tell me to come back when I got my stuff together. In fact, *I* would have told *me* that. But...they didnt. These people went SO FAR ABOVE AND BEYOND the call of duty. Mickie essentially GAVE ME HIS OFFICE to work through the wire transfer, get my insurance added to the new vehicle, etc. He was awesome about it! So laid back and ready to crack a joke and help answer all of my questions...Courtney gave me her phone charger so I could stay in touch with my credit union every step of the way--she always had a smile on her face and was quick to help with whatever I needed. I also appreciate Melinda Allen for making sure everything was in order and for doing her absolute best as the business manager to help me check off the items I needed to get done to close the deal. Jamie Myrick -- thank you for checking in with me to ensure I was indeed getting the best rate with my credit union (new car rates are insanely good here!!). And of course, Keith Baker, the general manager who pretty much took southern hospitality to levels that just dont exist anywhere. This man knows customer service, and literally knocked this sale out of the park. I have NEVER been a part of ANY purchase where the people providing the service literally bent over backwards to make customers happy. And its not just me they do this for--stopping by the local credit union, that staff bent over backwards to help me because they like this dealership so much they wanted to help them by helping me! At the end of the day, the entire staff at Bill Jackson worked with me, they worked with my credit union, and I walked out of there several hours later (my own fault!) with the beautiful car I initially came to see. They even checked in on me during my drive home to make sure all was well. Hands down this was THE best car-buying experience Ive ever had before, during and after the sale. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone, and would absolutely stop in just to say hello to the staff when I am in town. Mr. Jackson (who I did not have the pleasure of meeting) -- you should pat yourself on the back for hiring the staff you have. Wonderful people. Wonderful experience. Pulled in just before closing time with steam billowing from the front. Too late to repair right then, but had a bad water pump diagnosed, changed, flushed and tested by early afternoon the next day.
