One of the best haircut experiences Ive had in a while. Just got a simple fade and my beard trimmed. My girlfriend also got here eyebrows waxed. My haircut was spot on and so was my beard. The stylist was very nice and understood what I wanted. My girlfriend really enjoyed her eyebrows afterwards. All In all, I would totally recommend this place. The other options were all full on a Saturday and super cuts had about an hour wait. Not too bad!

I wanted my hair to frame my face and conceal my high forehead. I asked the stylist to feather my hair and to blend it. The first picture is what she did. to it. I dont know if it can be fixed or if it will have to grow out. The second is how I looked a couple of months ago.

Unfortunately the woman that cut my hair seemed very unsure of herself. I asked for a #2 on the sides and in the back and then barely finger length on top. The sides and the back was not a problem, but she seemed to not be able to blend the top with the sides.I actually had to have my wife try and blend it in.

Jessey was great! She knew what I wanted better than I did. It was like she read my mind. Would deffinately use her services again!

Although it is a cooperate company, I have always received a good haircut. They listen to my needs and are quick and efficient. Great store!

This would easily be a 5 star review. I HATE giving bad reviews unless it’s absolutely necessarily. My haircut. 5 stars! My stylist was great. But the cleanliness of the place was was enough to make me never go back. Hair that has been there for who knows how long stuck to the base board. Under their mirrors was disgusting. I was there 30 minutes after opening, so I’m certain it wasn’t from the day. I tried going back again thinking it was just a bad day or what ever. Walked in yesterday ( June 28th at 1040 am )And it was just as bad. I walked out. 🤮🤮🤮

Appointment was easy to setup and I wasnt kept waiting when I arrived at my designated time. The stylist listened to my haircut wants and gave me an excellent haircut. The stylist was pleasant and efficient, and I had a great experience.

Amelia was amazing! I was very apprehensive about getting any haircut due to the fact I had a really bad chemical cut from bleaching my hair with a brand I was unfamiliar with! And I mean BAD, I pretty much knew I was going to be a nightmare for any stylist to try and fix. I also have not had a haircut in years because the last one was awful. That being said I was pretty nervous about going in, but this girl was perfect for the job! She joked with me about the shape my hair was in (which is a positive for me I like to laugh through uncomfortable situations I also don’t like when people try to make me feel better with lies because dude, my hair was a wreck!) anyways she did the best with what she had and I left feeling like I was on the right track to hair recovery lol!

Ive been going to Supercuts for years both here in Traverse City, Michigan and in Texas and have never had a bad experience. Anna is my stylist, and I keep coming back to her. I also like the ability to make my appointments on line at the stores website.

I called to ask when the next available time slot was and they hung up on me. Extremely unprofessional salon, do not recommend.

The stylist was nice and quick on a cut for my daughter. Did not appreciate the two credit card system. One for payment one for tip..was not told there was an additional charge to leave a tip!!! Was being generous on a $15.00 kid cut and left $5.00 was charged an additional .65 cents for my generosity ;(

I went in for a haircut today, as I hadnt had any hair service done in a year. During Covid-19 I admit I did a little cutting on my own, so I went in knowing the hair dresser would have a challenge to even it out.My hairdresser today was Connie, and she did an amazing job! She suggested the hairstyle I was thinking wouldnt really look good with my very, very fine hair. I put my faith in her and let her do what she thought best. I love it!! I will be going back in the future for trims..and highlights. I have found a great hairdresser!Thank you, Connie!

I got a hair cut here on Saturday 3/6 the girl cutting it cut it so short I can’t even style it how I had told her I wanted to. I had to go back and have her fix it and it’s still not fixed correctly and it’s so short it can’t be fixed. I had grew my hair out for 8months to now have hair I’m embarrassed to go out in public with. I’m absolutely beside myself right now. I work with the public everyday and have to figure out what to do with what’s left of my hair....I would give this place zero stars if I could!

Phone system didnt answer, so we ended up booking online. This happened the last time too. Floors were somewhat dirty and scattered with unswept hair.

I waited for a while to get my haircut because of Covid-19. I made my appointment to see Chris, Traverse City. I arrived a few minutes early, the instructions were clearly marked on the door, went to the outline area on the floor and was greeted by the receptionist. When Chris was ready for me, she sanitized her entire station, and I sat down to get my haircut. We had a few months to catch up on so we were chatting away, of course wearing our masks. Thank you for putting in place safety measures not only for your clients but your employees as well.

Negative stars. Save your money, hair and time- go somewhere else!!I’ve been to SuperCuts 2 times and both times were a mistake. Both visits I ended up having to pay someone else to fix the uneven/poorly done cut. I’ve been trying to grow out my hair and wanted the ends cleaned up.What should have been a “trim” has ended up being and additional 3-4 inches cut off both times.

Very nice hair stylist she is well knowledge in what she was doing and the products we spoke about. I would go back with her again. I do not mention her name for I am not sure if it is aloud.

I have stopped in at this location 4 times. I understand people make appointments and they have their time to be there, however, 2 of those times there was no one in there and the 2 employees were sitting in the back. Today I was told I had to come back in 40 minutes because they were over booked (no one was in there). The girl had to get up out of a chair to greet us. My son has short hair and would take 10 mins to cut his hair, but they were to busy! I wont be in again, ever.

Always satisfied. I call ahead and I never wait...not even in the busiest season! I request the stylist I want (Connie), but all are good. Its a clean, friendly atmosphere, good color product, great hair cuts,reasonable prices! No reason to go anywhere else!

Agree with what other low reviews said. The person who cut my hair did not sanitize any of her tools, simply wiped her scissors on a towel covered in hair and proceeded to cut my hair. None of the employees had the containers to clean their tools and left their stations covered in hair. Do not recommend.

Ive been to this Supercuts many times over the past several years for haircuts, always with fairly consistent and good results. Ive never had a bad experience here, although occasionally I have to do a little bit of light trimming or tweaking once I get home. With this particular Supercuts location, I recommend always making an appointment - you cant always just walk in and get right in, and many times they will be booked until the end of the day if you wait until its short notice. Usually appointments are kept on time, though sometimes they might run a bit late due to a previous appointment. All in all, Id recommend them and will continue to return.

I showed the woman a picture of what I wanted, she told me they cant do the color, so I showed her a different picture and asked for the color in the picture and to have my hair a bit shorter. I told her multiple times that I wanted it above my shoulders, and each time she said she would do it. About 3 hours later, my color is pretty much the same and my hair is about two inches BELOW my shoulders. And then she rings me up and my total is over $100, because she shampooed my hair TWICE, blow-dried it, and styled it, all without asking me if I wanted any of it.You are much better off going somewhere a little bit more expensive because these people will rack up your bill and send you out with a $100 haircut that looks exactly the same as when you came in.

Wanted to thank the office and Kris (my hair stylist) who did a superb job in customer service and giving me the exact haircut I wanted with needed suggestions that enhanced it!!! Thank you so much and I will definitely recommend and return when needed. Love you guys

I came in with long, ridiculously tangled hair. With a simple shampoo and a lot of combing, the hairdresser was able to salvage enough to donate. And then she cut my hair in very nice layers. I highly recommend this salon.

Have used Supercuts in other states numerous times. They do a great trim. But this one had an Unbelievably rude staff- went in here just for a trim, but didn’t stay long. I know there’s a labor shortage in TC, but, wow. These “ladies” are some of the rudest people I’ve ever met. If owner is down in sales- just look at your staff. Will NOT be back.

Ive been in here on and off over the last few years for hair cuts. My first few experiences were excellent, and my more recent ones were have been hit or miss. None of them have been out-rightly bad experiences, but Ive felt less comfortable or welcome on a few occasions. Obviously theyve not been too bad, cause this is still where I tend to get my hair cut.As previously mentioned, you should call ahead and make an appointment, as they are often booked through out the day.

I personally have never had any real issues here– sometimes I trim the hair up a little to suit my needs a bit more. But for $15, the haircuts are pretty good. I keep my hair very short now, and theyve been cutting my hair for years now. Ive gotten several haircuts from this location over the years, and Ive never been upset by the results.

Will never go there again. I went in not wanting to cut my hair. I had reasons that I was getting it cut. The lady that cut my hair looked at what I wanted for 5 seconds and proceeded to cut my hair to what she wanted not what I wanted. Needless to say it looks absolutely nothing like what I wanted at all. Not even remotely close. I left in tears. She cut it so short that I have no choice but to leave it and let it grow out before I go to someone that can actually cut hair. Never again.

I was very nervous about getting my hair done but I love it! The lady at Super Cuts listened to me and also made suggestions and explained what would help my hair, I have really thick hair that did not want to lay down, I would always wear my hair up because of that, now I can wear it down and it feels so much better. She also took time to show me a couple of products that would be helpful. I have bough ten so much hair products and these really help. I am so glaf I chose Super Cuts of Traverse City.

Overpriced for a mans basic cut

Told the lady how I wanted my haircut 3 times and she repeated it twice. Shave the sides short with 2, leave finger length hair on top. She shaved my head into a buzzcut. She started shaving and went oopps, Im so sorry. Not only that, but she had cheap clippers that kept heating up and burning my head. I told her, than she kept going and burned my ear. I kept my cool, even when they were discussing whether or not to charge me because she butchered my hair. They charged me $7 for a haircut I could have done myself. Not only that but the other girl suggested mid butcher that I style my hair like one of them Asian people. Very unprofessional staff. You are better off going to a hair school and getting your hair cut by amateur students. They could not pay me to go back.

I love my cut, fast friendly service at a great price. Very busy but I used the mobile app to check in and had no wait. Thanks to the new staff Ill be going back for every cut!

Terrible! Would not go back or recommend to anyone! The staff were all rude...the stylist yelled at us ... said my husband and I were making her nervous bc we were watching her cut our just 2 year olds hair. She did a terrible job very uneven lines...long pieces...missed spots and he sat very still for her as he has had his hair cut several times...no excuse there! We go to Supercuts in another state where we are from all the time...they are great. I highly recommend you hire some new staff!!

I almost always go here to get my face wax. For the price i think they are the best around especially compared to 90s nails in the mall. I would like to give a shout out to the lady that waxed my face Ms. Allen. This was the first time ive seen her there, she is new i believe but she sure knows what shes doing. I dont even know how many times Ive been here (its been a lot) but i have NEVER had as good of a wax as she did. Im not positive but i beleive her name was Cassidy Allen.

Theyre nice but the cut is bad every time. Cant follow simple directions and always in a hurry, even if no one else is apparently waiting.

Personally Id say ask for Mary. Ive had a lot of disappointing experiences with others that cut hair. Or ask for the older gentleman. Those are the only two there that I will let cut my hair.

As someone else pointed out, very unprofessional. They let me in without an appointment, and an elderly woman came in with an appointment while the other gal working left for like 20 minutes. That poor woman waited like 30 minutes then left. Its cheap though so i guess you get what you pay for.

Took my boys there. Staff was friendly but their haircuts looked bad.

Worst place ever! I asked to got 9 inches cut off of my hair. She told me that I should do a little more, so I said okay 10. She then proceeded to cut more than 15 inches off of my hair then tried to tell me it was 10 and a half inches!!! I am so pissed. It took me years and years to grow my hair long and she cut it all off and on top of that she cut it all uneven. Stay clear of these people!
