Purchased my 3rd BMW from BMW Traverse City. Within 6 weeks, the transfer case had issues. The BMW team stepped up to make things right on the purchase even though they had no obligation. Good business practices!

Everyone was gracious, welcoming and extremely friendly. Lack of communication by the receptionist and both guys in service. Lack of regard or respect for the customer. Overall vibe is pretentious, curt, annoying, ignorant, conceited...Your typical BMW dealership experience.
Bought a BMW X3 a couple days ago. Chris Pratt is, hands down, the best sales person to work with in all of Fox Motor Co. He went above and beyond our expectations and got us the best price available. We could not have been treated with more respect and compassion.....we had totaled our favorite car. Service department staff provides the best service anywhere. They really know how to treat their customers. New standalone facility so they dont share service or sales staff with other brands or dealerships. That means you dont wait on hold for very long. They also offer many discounts and promotions from time to time and the hourly service rate is not the highest of the typical overpriced European luxury service departments. Complimentary gourmet coffee and decent snacks while you wait. Loaner vehicles are a great sales tool as well.
Absolutely the best service Ive ever had. Personal, warm, and understanding, both Matt Echols and Matt Doyle are extremely helpful. Not only identifying the root causes, fixing the problems, explaining the details, they also look out for the customers--always seeking the best options for the customers individual needs. And they are backed by superb technical people to get things done right. Plus all the staff in the facility makes you feel at home. Its always a pleasure visiting BMW of Traverse City.

Awful experience from BMW dealership. In one day, 2 vehicle owners had their vehicles towed to a different BMW dealership. I wouldnt recommend the customer service to anyone. Big disappointment from this luxury car dealership. Dont expect to get anything explained, or, in writing, for some reason, staff and management are unable to problem solve. Pay the tow bill and get your car out. Youll save peace of mind in the long run.

Chris & patrick make a wonderful team. i mean truly. being from chicago i was always used to car buying being a real hassle. but i am happy to say that i have now come back to chris and patrick to do it all over again. its obvious that they care to do whats best for you - that will certainly keep us coming back.
Ive only used the service dept but they were very helpful and willing to work with my schedule and even drop me off at the airport and deliver my car there.

The client liaison, Patrick Lavis, is unbelievable! I bought a used X5 in Traverse City, driving in 250 miles from the U.P., and I found a couple of issues at delivery. While they should have been caught before delivery, Patrick went out of his way to make things right. He personally drove up to my home and left me a brand-new 5 series loaner, and he took the X 5 back to the dealership to have the issues addressed. While it was in, they discovered that the starter was going bad, and would have caused me problems in a couple months time, so they kept the car for a few more days and ordered the new parts. All along the way, Patrick has kept in contact to update me on the progress. By the way, this was a $23K, 7 year-old car, not even a CPO vehicle! And, for the last two weeks I got to drive a brand-new $60K 5 series! Is that standing behind your product or what! So, while I was disappointed that my salesman did not look things over more carefully before I drove down to pick up the car, the service afterwards, thanks to Patrick, more than made up for his oversight. Great service team. Matt Echols and Matt Dolye are the service advisors and they are professional and detailed. Technicians get the jobs done in a timely fashion.I did my 4 wheel alignment here but as I was going back home, I noticed a pull to the right. I went back to the shop 2 weeks later to fix the problem. They checked the alignment again and they found that my tires were unevenly worn but they switched front wheel side to side and fixed the problem. Even after all the work and despite the fact that it wasnt their fault that the car was pulling, they found the solution for it and didnt charge me anything. What a great shop!
New to the area and was referred to Matt in Service. I have been to many BMW dealerships over the years and I can say that this location is #1 in my book. Thanks again for taking care of my X3 on such a short noticed...it means a lot.
