I’ve been here multiple times, they do great acrylics for a good price and the service is pretty good. The prices are good which is why I continued to go back. A few times gel nails have been completely see through and it looks awful. But yet I continued. This past time though I’ve decided not to go back. I got gel nails and they were applied so far up my nail it looked like they were two weeks grown out. A couple days after the first chip. Not even a week and a half all my nails almost completely peeled off. This is not supposed to happen nor have I ever had it happen. I called them four times throughout a day, never answered. Complete waste of money, you really do get what you pay for.

Bobby and the staff are so kind and caring and attentive. They all do an amazing job no matter who you get to do your nails. Never disappointing and always and please with my results thank you guys you’re awesome

First and last time going here. Unhappy with how my nails and toes came out. I noticed that they only treat their Caucasian customers with respect and kindness. I was given the cold shoulder by “Bobby”. I asked him a question and he gave me attitude. Like i said before, I don’t feel like women of color are welcomed at this place. Will not be returning.

Serenity Nails did an absolute stellar job with my acrylic manicure. I got the cat eye manicure which I had never heard about before. They use magnets to swirl unbelievable colors. My manicurist was named Amy. She did an absolutely unbelievable job and it is one of the best nail salons I have ever been to. I’m from New York in lower Westchester and I am seriously considering driving the hour and a half drive just to get my nails done at serenity nails. You definitely should go. They’re just amazing!!

I have been to four torrington nail salons I have not liked one nor atmosphere. This place serenity makes you feel welcomes and not to bad in pricing. Jenni did my nails and she was thorough. Bobby did my nail designs and he was amazing his personality is awesome. They did a decent job on my nails. I think the nail tech could have added another layer of polish as you can see some of the clear gel on my nails. Some of the tips the tech put on were crooked and yes, i know they can’t be perfect. I wish she thinned the side of the nail so I could get more of the coffin shape I was looking for. I have had the nails for three days and I have noticed that the glue is starting to give and the tip is becoming loose. The salon looked very clean and for my first time seeing them I am fairly impressed. Me and the nail tech had back and forth conversations and we weren’t awkwardly staring at each other while she did my nails. I would go back!

I have been going to Van and Bobby for probably close to 10 years. They do an amazing job, my nails are always beautiful, and the salon is always clean well kept. I missed them desperately during the Pandemic! They did many modifications to the salon to make it safe when they were able to reopen. I’m a nurse that has worked this entire pandemic and I am totally comfortable with the salon. All the techs bend over backwards to give you the manicure you want and will be thrilled with. You will find no one better.

Came in as a Walk-in. Greeted by a very handsome gentleman named Bobby. Whom also was the one to do my nails. And let me just say that I AM IN LOVE with my nails. I do not live in Torrington but I am willing to drive the hour to come back again!! Experience was a great one. The staff is very friendly. The salon is very clean. I really enjoyed my time here. Wish they were out in Bloomfield area!

Bobby Is always amazing and never disappointed in his work! Hes quick, yet clean and neat and will fix anything you have an issue with. I am super picky and usually always have something to nit pick .. However I never do with bobby. And its always clean and peaceful and never gross or dirty... All of the nail techs are really great there!! I like that they are current and up to date with the trends and can also do your basic french tips as well... To suit everyone needs. The pedicure chairs are also awesome they massage as well.. Not just vibrate but actually massage! I love it there.

Im giving this a 3. The first time I went there, I had no problems. I even got the acrylic nail set. However, I went there today to get them removed, and the lady I was with, she was SO harsh taking them off. She even took off part of my actual nail and I was bleeding for what seemed like forever. She didnt even help me with the bleeding even though she saw it, she just kept going. Im hesitant about going back

EDIT***I was the only person there. I would’ve waited no problem but the lady said no walk ins.Website says “walk ins welcome” but just to make sure i called when the opened to make sure. I drive all the way down there just to get told they don’t do walk ins?? Not to mention she was very rude about it. Looks like i’ll be regifting my gift card to this salon.

Disappointed!After asking T-Town Chatters where the the best place in town to get my nails done, the majority said Serenity Nail Spa. First time I had my nails done by Van, second done by Amy, third done by Mary, last time done by Bobbi (owner). My nails never looked identical at all after trying almost of the nail technicians that people recommended, but I have to say Amy was the worst that I ever had my nails done. Salon is just mediocre, equipments are not quality.I hope the owner who runs the business recognize it in order to fix for better future business.

BEST PLACE I have found in town. Tho I haven’t been to many here in Torrington, I have fallen in love with this place. Not only is the establishment clean and neat, but the workers are FANTASTIC as is the job they do! Bobby and his employees are proud of the work they do and stand behind it 100%. If I’m unsatisfide with something, they will not let you leave till you are happy. I recommend ALL of my family and friends here. The quality is beyond worth the money, which isn’t anymore more expensive than elsewhere in town.

Way overpriced!!!!! Ended up paying $80 for med length gel nails with a basic base color and a couple simple stripes painted on. The nail shape was not right and I even had to go back the following day for a repair due to the poor quality of work. Never again!

I think nail salons are a bit like hair dressers. Once you find one you like you stick with it.

I got toe nails and nails fungus after so many years I had my pedicure and manicure done here. I always trusted all technicians here because they were friendly and salon itself was clean look. I doubted tools and pedicure chair are not clean enough thats why how I got fungus.Lately I checked with state board of cosmetology about licensing and hygiene checking, state board of cosmetology doesnt require nail technician has to have license or yearly hygiene checking. Disappointed!Wish everyone understand before go get your manicure pedicure done.

This is actually my first review ever. I suppose the kind of service received from this place may be contingent upon how you look or how you are perceived. I walked in last Saturday for an appt and instead of a pleasant acknowledgment or greeting i was met with an attitude filled How can i help you. Its also important to note that the owner looked me up and down before speaking to me. The person that did my tips and acrylic was less than friendly and was very rough with my hands. I typically enjoy doing my nails in silence but i require atleast a Hi...how are you today? I dont think that is too much to ask. Despite how i felt i was treated i stoll made another appointment. I called just now to try to change it. The owner came on the phone and was instantly annoyed. I was so embarrassed i told him never mind and hung up. When people are spending they want to feel appreciated, no matter their race, color or creed. It was convenient for me to go there because of location but i will happily go elsewhere where my color may not be held against. And as for you Bobby...just in case you forgot, you are a minority too. Ask Trump.

It was our first time going and we were told they guarantee any broken nail until your next fill and found out when we went back we were lied to. They charge $4 a broken nail. Just went to a newer place and they found mold underneath one of my daughters nail from when Serenity Nails did them last. Nasty and will never return!!
