Since joining 24HR Fitness early this year (2021), Rolling Hills, CA Club.I have noticed a decline in the number of working pieces of equipment upstairs.2/4 Bicycles facing the walkway wall do not function, one the edges of the seat cracked off, a month ago. In the mens locker room, both dryer fans next to the showers no longer work( one was working when I started).I must admit that with most of the stepping and other treadmill equipment, I see a technician working on pretty regularly.Please work on the above, you will start to lose customers if equipment is not maintained in working condition just like we try to do with our bodies. It shouldnt be a long term reactive action to maintain work out equipment at a gym.lose customershave to admit the

Sauna and steam room so nice. Pool is clean every day. Staff is cool too. I dont work here..ijust work out here

If I could give zero stars I would. Front desk girl was so rude when I tried to redeem my buddy pass, and she had the audacity to say Im doing you a favor. When I asked what her name was, she refused to tell me.

Essential place to keep our health of good condition

Decent equipment selection. But nobody enforces wearing masks. Im literally next to a guy hacking up a storm and hes not wearing a mask at all. Three staff have just walked by.

Small and most importantly not open 24 hours. Big thing for me since thats the exact reason I decided on this franchise. Supposed to have plenty of places around the clock. Hell, its in the name.

They have alot of equipment machines that u can work out ur whole body and they have this new equipment that I saw on the 1st floor its really good place to work out

No towels (with superclub pricing) and closes at 9pm. Otherwise its an okay gym.

Here he is wiping down equipment during this flu scare, making everyone feel good about being at the gym inspite of the media. Good and clean environment

First time here and I liked, probably because I came at a later hour where there was not much people working which made it good. All I needed to do was done with not having to wait on them like on a busy day. So if you guys trying to to get a good workout come around 8pm or later 😜💪🏻🙌

New management keeping the gym clean. Its a small gym but easy to navigate. They have all u need. I like to do my super sets without having to walk across a super large gym.

I’ve gone to this gym since 2018 and the people who also workout there are nice if you want to use a machine. Although recently a leg curl machine is broken I still go to this one and wait for a different leg curl machine. Not too bad of a wait depending on what time you go to this gym.

Dont use lockers at this gym!!! Had my locker broken into at this gym. When I reported it to the manager, he said I wasnt the only person who had their locker broken into that day. Apparently its a common problem they have there. Could happen at any gym but better be safe and avoid where it happens often. Be careful

This is my home gym from now on! Luis and Anthony always greet me when I arrive and wish me well on the way out. The gym is always clean and I enjoy my workouts there than any other 24 in the area.

Since Anthony Canada has arrived the gym is much cleaner & organized. With the new gym opening up on Hawthorne, many members went over there so that took care of the overcrowding. Now if corporate can realize that equipment needs to be fixed or replaced then this would be a decent gym

Stopped my membership few months back due to the constant price raise in membership and the gym hasn’t had any improvement,they literally only changed the name to super sport to charge more and added nothing and have raised membership twice on me. I prefer this gym but those prices need to drop drastically. I started at $16 a month to $30 and finally $45

At least half of the machines are in disrepair. Sauna only warm. No real steam in steam room. Unfortunate that in 8 mos of membership havent noticed and upgrades or repairs. SAD

One of the dirtiest and smelliest 24 hour fitness gyms Ive been to, with broken equipment. Of course you can make it work and get a decent workout, but if you have an option of going elsewhere, Id highly recommend it.

More that 1/4th of the equipment is broken or on the verge of being broken, witnessed a member shoot his snot on one of the treadmills while he was running. Absolutely appalled.

24hr fitness is no longer 24hrs.. dumb change only because of the new Del Amo location.

I love ❤️ this gym. Locations is good. I have been a member for 6 years. The staff is very helpful. I really think the gym is a nice size. Lots of workout space. The Zumba, and Yoga instructors very knowledgeable.

Omg I am a member to LA Fitness. I also go to 24 at times. This is the only one who has 5 pd increments for barbell. Ive been stuck at 20. Today I did 25 no problem hopefully in 2 weeks Ill be able to do 30lbs.

A budget gym that really earns its status as a budget gym. The 24 hour thing is obviously convenient, but the gym is consistently overcrowded, even fairly late at night. The equipment on the weight floor and upstairs look like they havent been replaced in a decade. Theyre always out of paper towels and dont provide barbell clips anymore. Id recommend shopping around for other gyms first before settling on this one.

I have been a member of this Facility since 1988 and I would never go anywhere else!! The staff weather old or new has always been very welcoming and friendly!! This gym is awesome! Not like those other gyms that I have been invited to to visit. Those are nothing but meat markets!

Love coming here and working out. The gym is pretty large and it never is packed when i come which is great because i like to super set a lot and that wouldnt be possible otherwise. One star down for i wish they had better abdominal machines.

Clean and bright. People are friendly and easy to talk to for advice. Very welcoming of newcomers. And thats just the customers.But... its pricey.

This location has 2 mens locker areas. the larger, upstairs mens locker area has it showers shut down since JANUARY 2019. The other locker room has 2 showers. I called yesterday to see if they were operational. Still not working. Its the end of April now. REALLY???? 24 Hour Fitness is opening another location 10 minutes away next month. Maybe theyre gonna shut it down.

One of the worst 24 hour fitness I have been to. Super old. Everything in here is so old and the building has no ventilation. Its musty and stuffy in here, Ive been to around 20 of these gyms and this one seriously sucks. Everything is squished together too its just gross. It has alotta of equipment from what I see most of it works but its just not somewhere very pleasant to be. They really need to do some updates, starting with an air-conditioning unit.

WORST 24 HOUR FITNESS I HAVE EVER BEEN TO:The staff are friendly, but all the equipment is broken and the fascilities are I would say UNSANITARY at best. It really sucks because this place it right on the way home for me but it is just so run down I cant use it at all.Finally, the place has floor to ceiling windows which are nice, but make working out there like being in a giant fish bowl. I would suggest to your management:1. Fix/Replace your elliptical and bikes - MORE THAN HALF OF THEM ARE BROKEN2. Spend a few extra $$$ per day and TURN ON THE DAMN AC - it is seriously way too hot especially upstairs.I have a super sport membership, every 4 - 6 months I check back in on this location to see if it has been any better in 3 years of experience it has actually only gotten WORSE. I hope someone from 24 hour fitness corporate sees this and actually fixes the location. Again its not the staff (staff are good) but the equipment and poor sanitation that keep me away.

The whole gym has a very unpleasant smell of urine and body odor. The air quality is poor and I couldnt ignore the smell long enough to get a decent workout. The equipment seemed poor to average quality, I wouldnt return to this gym.

This location seems old, the Quitman a little bit outdated and it doesn’t seem like anybody working there really cares put everything back in order once the clients have taken the various weights and scatter them throughout the gym. But it’s popular because it’s in a really convenient location. I hope the company upgrades this one

Im giving this gym a 1 star review based on the fact that they changed this facility from being a regular 24 Hour Fitness Sport to 24 Hour Fitness Super Sport solely based on its location and not by what they have to offer (Nice equipment, towel service, etc...). Shame on upper management for allowing this to happen. Im not going to pay an extra $25 (for only a day of working out) when I already have membership access at a better facility than this one. I would strongly recommend to avoid this location if youre looking to get a good set in. Such a GREEDY location.

So I guess 24 hour fitness is trying to change all of the Sports to Super Sports over time to get more money. This is a very sad tactic. This gym was a sport and changed to a Super Sport with no change at all. They dont even have a basketball court!!! They dont even give towels!!! The mens restroom only has two stalls!!! No new equipment!!!! etc. When I called to ask why this location was made into a Super Sport I was told because of the Demographic. Wow, thats just disappointing.

I wish I could give them a 0 star rating. Do not join this gym! They do not maintain and fix their equipment. They dont care about their members. When I spoke to the frond desk about all the equipment issues, they looked like they get complaints all the time. They told me to call the gym manager which I did. Her excuse was that corporate was not responding to their requests because they were focused on building new gyms in the South Bay. They refused to refund me the last 8 months on my Costco 2 year pre-paid membership because they dont refund pre-paid memberships. Join any of the other gyms out there just dont join 24 Hour Fitness because they are just in it for profits and dont care about their members.

Ive been going to this gym for about 3 years. I have my normal 90 minute routine, and I leave. The machines are good, but you need to get there at certain times of the day or you will NEVER see those machines. The treadmills are constantly full, especially around noon and after 5pm. I always recommend going there between 2pm-4pm. Thats usually when its dead. The people there are generally okay, they leave you alone most of the time.The staff is a different story. It really depends on who is there at the time. But this staff overall is extremely unfriendly. They almost never welcome you. Sometimes they go out of their way to ignore you when you walk in the door. Ive had it done to me almost everyday. I walk in with a smile, and they LITERALLY will see you and turn their backs to you! SERIOUSLY??!?Yeah, Im glad I finally left! The staff needs to grow up, and learn to be more friendly.

Their restrooms and lockers are always disgusting. There is always piss on the toilet seats and toilet paper on the ground. They rarely have soap in the dispensers or toilet paper and seat covers arent stocked. It doesnt matter what day or what time of day you go, the bathrooms are gross. Its like they dont have a janitor or the janitor only works once a month. I would give this place negative stars if it were possible.

70% of the equipment available is not working or in very bad condition (not safe to use). If you complain about the bad maintenance at the front desk they seem to dont care. Depressing way to begin your day working out in a facilities like this.

Local gym, pretty big for super sport 24hr. Location is by multiple places to get a smoothie afterwards. Also new equipment has been in this year!

Smells horrible inside. The childcare is awful. The workers sleep while the kids are running around inside, not even acknowledging that they are there. You can clearly see in the photos below that there is a young child sitting down while the employee is taking a nice nap. Very unprofessional.

Worst gym I have ever been to in my entire life. I try not to be too judgmental but wow. You can clearly see the owner collects everyone’s money and doesn’t funnel any back into the gym. All of the equipment is easily over 5 years old with no care or maintenance at all. Machines are broken and stuck, the floors are disgusting, sauna and steam room stink and look very old inside. Locker rooms constantly stink like pee, hair inside of every sink from people shaving, staff is very unprofessional, cleaning crew has nasty very very old equipment and the manager can care less about anything other than the paycheck. By the way, the upstairs area where all of the dumbbells are stinks like urine also.

I was stolen at this gym this morning, between 08:45 to 10:00 am, so be careful with your belongs. My bag was inside the locker in the restrooms with a small padlock. Im really disappointed.

I went for a quick swim and shower. The hot tub and pool was filthy, the steam room and sauna smelled like a dirty mop. Shower was nasty. I didnt use any machines. This place was seriously neglected. I wont be going back there.

We are here hoping that the 24 Hour Fitness Corp take action, is denigrating its name as a health club.The bathroom is constantly messy, dirty missing toilet paper. All rooms are very dirty and smelly.The windows have never been cleaned.You don’t see any people from their stuff around the gym besides on the front desk keeping their eyes on your check-in. Immature stuff, they ask you to call the customer service if you ask questions.

The bathroom is constantly messy and dirty. I have writing complaint to their headquarter office but see no improvement. The facility is often too hot and smelly due to Inadequate air condition system. This place is just too overcrowded especially in the morning. I cannot think of any good thing about this facility except the fee was cheap and its located close to my home which is the main reason for me to join them 6 years ago. It is no longer economical after they upgrade the store status to super store two years ago so I need to pay double my fee through Costco since then. My wife and I plan to terminate our membership this winter when it is expired.

Came in here for a 3 day pass. Just to see if I should switch from my old gym and maybe try a new one, but needless to say NO THANK YOU. They call them self a supper sport. Which in my option they should be shut down for misleading you. They do not give out towels like a supper sport should. They have old broken down equipment. The gym is dirty. The staff is far from frendily. The personal trainers hide a lot of equipment in there break room. And are useing most of that stuff for them selfs. On my 3 day pass. 1 day they had to shut the gym down because the plumbing back up. And on day 3 the power went out and they dont have any generators. Then when I asked if I could get my time credited they told me to ask corporate. Which is just as bad. So no save yoir time and money like I did and go somewhere else. Needless to say ill be staying at my old gym.

Decent gym, ample amount of lockers, somewhat tiny pool but overall a good place to burn some calories.

The weights and the equipment at the gym are really beat down. Don’t waste your time coming here unless you believe in subpar crappie workouts

Mens toilets are broken, frequently. Several machines broken, not functional. One of the less maintained locations than Ive come to expect from 24 hour fitness.

I agree with most post about this location. Dirty, packed, smelly and the air is so thick! I always make sure to wear full finger gloves when working out in this place

I belong to this gym and prefer this as well as ther one in Hermosa. As far as gyms go, its clean looking and has ample shower facilities and a pool (no basketball court at this gym). There are two basic levels and on many of the machines you are overlooking the vehicles passing by on PCH, which is a nice distraction while your working out.The staff is friendly and the trainers will even assist you when theyre not engaged with one of their appointments.

Equipment and place is pretty broken down and dirty, the gym and equipment smell really bad, too much pda with some of the gym go-ers there with no shame like making out in between sets and grinding on eachother during the set, its expensive, and hardly ever people at the front desk, and its so hard to even cancel my membership, you guys NEED a manager 24/7 on duty in order to give gym go-ers option to cancel whenever they want, i have asked multiple employees when the managers come in and i come in during their shift hours that the employee told me and its not surprising that they are not even there

This is the worst 24hours (worse than santa monica before renovation) ... its filled with the creepiest people & broken machines. all classes are overly packed ( how can you work out with people bumping into you?) I understand this is the only 24hour in the area but its seriously time to knock this place down & build one the size of that entire shopping center its in.

I agree with other posts about the unfriendly arrogance of an immature staff. Having lived my entire life in the South Bay beach cities it is odd to come to Torrance and have people acting this ridiculous. There is also a weird smell the gym has every day. Its like the old sweat smell got into their rubber floors and it takes conscious effort to overcome just to work out there.

The only reason I attend this gym is due to its location. Most of the staff is not really helpful, management doesnt know what theyre doing regarding maintenance of equipment or lack there of. Many of the equipment remain in need of repair for months. They are constantly running out of towel paper. Classes are lacking.

The dirtiest gym I have ever attended. Globs of hair in the showers every time. I have never seen one person clean the equipment, very unsanitary. Manager lied and said there was shampoo and conditioner in the showers, well that was a lie and only one shower had soap in it. Its smells not of B.O but some other unpleasantness. The sauna and steam room are both always dirty. Torrance is by far the worst 24 hour fitness club. Kids club will call you to end your work out if the kids are misbehaving and by misbehavior I mean jumping around and being a kid. Dont take your kids in the morning, I find the night shift knows how to hadle toddlers much better. Kidsclub has a lack of toys to keep the little ones occupied as well. Im upset I bought a year contract. I dont have another 24hr near me otherwise I would try that one or just drive 30 more min to the hermosa beach location. Just to avoid the Torrance gym at all costs. Its like they dont even try. CLEAN THIS GYM!
