If I could give this rating 10 stars, I would! Candice went above and beyond and even after tons of questions I had after hours. Easiest rental process to date! Love everything about this company.
The review is long overdue, my husband and I have been renting a property that is managed by Pinnacle Property Management since 2018. We lived at our previous apartment for 6 years and the management there was extremely poor. Since our first meeting with Candice, I knew that we were making the right choice by renting at one of their properties, fast forward to now and I have zero complains. Candice and the whole team are extremely tentative and make sure to always answer any of our concerns or questions. We have required a few repairs here and there and they have always been done in a timely manner and most importantly, correctly. Once we decide to grow our family and we are in need for a bigger place we will continue to work with Pinnacle and Candice.

No care for the tenant during COVID!a company that doesn’t show good customer service, care, or morale for their tenants is not a company that I can support.We moved in to one of their apartments due to their “move in special” during COVID. We never had any problems & never missed a payment. we had a situation where our rent did not go thru due to lack of funds in the account that was attached to our rent payments. we were willing to fix the problem in order to make it right & pay the correct amount. Unfortunately, because the original payment did not go through they revoked our good standing & increased our rent to the higher price that the apartment would have been before the “move in special”. We spoke with them on the phone to try to fix it & to keep our right standing with them. We were able to move here because of that special price. Unfortunately, they were not willing to help us & insisted we pay the new rate. This is extremely detrimental to my family because we could afford the lower price, not the higher. I understand business is business. I would get it if we had many missed payments or previously received a warning. But as I said, we’ve never missed a payment & have been good tenants. It’s very disappointing, shame on you, pinnacle for putting policy over the person during these hard economic times.

Well, if there is a way to go way above 5 stars, I would.That’s because my experience with the stars of Pinnacle has been nothing short of stellar. I absolutely love the crew, and ever since I met Candice (Avila) during my application last year, I have had nothing but positive and memorable experiences in dealing with the PPM team. Thanks to them I now have a dream apartment. Candice has been my main go-to person through my tenancy thus far, with Brenden also being a great help along the way. My every interaction with her and the broader PPM team has involved their promptness, courteousness, and a level of calm and professionalism that is nothing short of exemplary. Given how speedily and efficiently Candice has dealt with all my tenancy matters during my stay (however minor!) I always have felt cared for by her not only as a tenant, but as a real person. Being a landlord elsewhere myself, I now know just how important and valuable this is.Should you ever have the opportunity to be part of the PPM family, as either a tenant or as a landlord, I urge you to take it – this team really is the best there is.To Candice and all of PPM - my heartfelt thank you :)

We have been having a major issue with our apartment . The issue is ROACHES! We moved in, in July and since then we have been having several service calls! Before we moved in, we were told that the apartment was clean and there were no roaches and they were totally wrong! Pest control has been out about 4 times! We got to the point we’re we were tired of vacating our apartment and purchased roach products. We are very clean people and have NEVER had an issue with roaches! There was even one found l in my child’s bassinet. Everyday, we’re killing a couple of roaches and it is beyond disgusting! We pay all this money for rent and have to share our apartment with nasty critters. Everyday, we have to wipe down our counters and keep the floors clean to try to keep them away and that doesn’t even work. Another issue we have had is our windows. They either do not open, or it is very hard to open. The management has sent 3 different people to attempt to fix our windows and no one was able to fix them. Another issue, my mom goes into the office to pay the rent and was told by Zoila in a nasty tone that they do not give physical receipts when you’re paying with cash! She said her attitude was very nasty. My mother is old school and like physical paper trail. She does not prefer an emailed receipt! If she is requesting a physical receipt, then that’s what she should get if she is paying the rent in CASH! We fell in love with the apartment but having to deal with roaches and our windows not opening has not been a good experience.
I give one star because of Zoila . She is very unprofessional. Needs to handle costumer service better.I liked Maile ( she is a 5 star lady) but unfortunately Zoila took over our case and Im not happy with the way she has been handling things..
The Pinnacle Management group has managed my property for almost a year. I have found them to be responsive to any request I make and always reply in a timely manner. They keep me updated on any required maintenance needed on my property. They efficiently collect and handle the receipt of the monthly rental fee and accounting of any the funds. I have complete confidence in their ability to manage my property.
Pinnacle Property Management is amazing to work with. They are extremely responsive whenever there has been a concern and very diligent handling any issue until it is resolved. I have dealt with a number of property management companies and this is by far the best one I’ve worked with. I highly recommend Pinnacle.
The team at Pinnacle goes above and beyond the call of duty! Steve and his team have helped me with several of our family properties in and around the South Bay area. Anytime we have a concern they call us back promptly and even offer to come to the property to inspect and oversee any troubles. Before them I used a big shot company that treated me like a number in their system. Here they are family run and treat you like a member of there family. A++ KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK YOU DO!

A few months ago I was looking for a 1 bed 1 bath apartment in Torrance for my girlfriend and I to rent and came across Pinnacle Property Management from a Google search. Compared to other property management companies their website was surprisingly very easy to navigate. Within a few clicks I was able to leave a message from their website for someone to contact me for more info. I sent the message at about 10:00 at night and no joke like 15 minutes later I got a email from Damien letting me know that the unit was still available and that he could show it to me the very next day. I met with Damien at the property and fell in love with it. I applied later that day on their website and again in less than 10 minutes I was contacted by Nick who went over my application with me to clarify some things. I was then approved by Nick and came in to the office to sign the lease.Pinnacle was extremely professional and on top of it. I have never had such a smooth transaction when finding a place to rent. If I ever own any income producing properties in the South Bay I will forsure be contacting Pinnacle to manage them. Thanks again Pinnacle staff for going out of your way to making a customer feel at home.
Steve Johnson and his team at Pinnacle Property Management are great at what they do. They have been managing my two apartment buildings for the last few years and I couldn’t be happier with them. Candice and the Pinnacle team are absolutely amazing. They know how to handle the toughest of tenants and go above and beyond to take care of the property we have. We cannot recommend them enough. My husband interview many management companies prior to settling with Pinnacle and we have been extremely pleased with them.
Over bill . Kept charging every time they could, with stuff like. “ one time charge”, every 2 months or so. Then there were the so called code enforcement “pass through fees”, like they would bill you for over 3 dollars! I mean come on you are already getting rent money. Where does the level of Greedy ness end? Then they raise your rent right away. Every year it was an increase. I would look into some other management company. When I moved out, I clean as much as I could it was almost spot less. They still deducted a lot from my deposit. Then they also sent my check to the wrong address, to a neighbors address .. I was close to not receiving my deposit at all .

I started my lease back in August. Since then, there have been all kinds of problems. They were mostly just little things: issues with electrical outlets, mixups with keys and garage door openers, broken garage door, a shower head that was installed backwards, etc., which was understandable because the property was under new management and the building had just been newly renovated.However, every time Ive submitted a maintenance request (online, through the company portal as I was instructed to) or spoken to someone on the phone, the staff has been extremely rude and inconsiderate of my situation. Almost as if Im inconveniencing them by calling and asking for help.Even worse, a few times theyve actually ignored the requests and marked them as done (which is even more frustrating because I have to go back and submit new requests!).Im a pretty reasonable person, which is why after five months living here I have not complained. Since we did the walk through the property on day one, we knew our central heating system was broken. Theyve known since August 1st, and did nothing. In October/November we submitted requests to have our heat fixed. FINALLY in December they started sending professionals out. All of them said our central heater could not be fixed and needed to be replaced. Weve been waiting on this to be resolved for FIVE MONTHS and IT STILL HAS NOT BEEN TAKEN CARE OF! :(

He was also fast with any information so I wont be homelessZolia has a big heart and makes you love your home. She doesnt play when it comes to maintenance requests. Your safety is her goal. Shes always nice on the phone or in person.Julie is the first person I met when I sign my lease along with Zolia I think that was Brandens birthday week. Julie was welcoming and made me feel like I was with family.
Pinnacle manages one of the properties I live at and they are so much better then our last management company. I called the other day at 2:00am because one of our pipes broke in our apartment and I actually got ahold of someone without leaving a voicemail. And then pinnacle sent a plumber less then 30 minutes later to fix the issue. I then got a follow up call the next morning to confirm that everything was okay. It’s that kind of service that makes me want to write this review. Although I don’t own any investment properties at the moment if I ever do I will be sure to have pinnacle manage them.Thanks for all your great work Pinnacle!-Kayla
Seems like every other month this company get worse and worse.. I wish i dint have to go threw this disrespectful treatments by some of this company personnel.There is no sense of honesty.. They say something and later change what they once said..Its been a month and 1/2 problem yet has not been fix. All i hear is put a request then put request and later they claimed there was no request maid.. Is there a number or an extension for a owner or someone over this people .. Please i need to speak with someone..if extension is available please provide.. Thank you..
Pinnacle has been managing a few of my properties in the southbay for several years now and I couldnt be happier with them. Before using Pinnacle I went through 3 other property management companies that I absolutely hated. The other management companies would take forever to respond to my emails or take my calls. Pinnacle is on top of it. Even when I call on the weekend I get a response back within hours. If you are looking for a great property management company that will manage your assets the way they should be managed look no further then Pinnacle.

The staff needs customer service training. Many times I have called and received service that left me feeling as if I was bothering them. They are in the business of providing a service and pretending to care if part of that service!
