The time from diagnosis to installation was only a matter of a few days, it was absolutely awesome. The techs were easy to work with and no issues with the installation or unit itself.I did deduct one star because after the install, I felt the communication from the office was lacking. Was not informed that the city inspector had to check permits in the first place. The office kept calling my work phone, which I never authorize anyone to use for personal reasons, because it goes through an operator and Im not necessarily always at my desk to answer anyway. I think the only reason I even provided that number was for employment verification. I made a point to have someone at my house for the inspection so that I didnt have to take off work, but was then informed by the inspector after the fact that he only needs to check the outside unit and no one needed to be there.
Marshall Greve performed our service on our heater. He was very courteous and professional. He let us know exactly what he did and inspected. He also supplied us with notes on any findings. We will definitely continue to use Latta Whitlow for future work.
Our 25 year old central air conditioner finally died. We were expecting this. Latta-Whitlow had a technician at our house in an hour and replaced both furnace and central air conditioner just two days later. This in spite of local news reports saying HVAC dealers were weeks behind. We have new Rheem products. Latta-Whitlow did a great job.
Called at 7:50am for a bad fan motor on one of our AC Units. 24/7 answering service answered, and said they would give scheduling the message. 8:06am scheduling calls, has same day availability between 2 and 4. 1:45pm I get a text that the technician is on the way with his picture, and he beat me to the house. Diagnosed issue, gave me options, had part in stock and an associate delivered it to the house for install. I was headed back to work by around 4:00pm. Great first time experience.

Marshall, Dakota and his helper are professional, polite, and informative as they addressed all my questions to help me understand how an HVAC system works as it related to the problem. The A/C stopped blowing air just a day before the forecasted 90+ temps. Marshall came out on the same day that I called Latta-Whitlow to diagnose the problem. The following day Dakota had it* installed! Very impressive since this is the busiest time of year for A/C repair/service. Estimate was right on too. * Rheem R801CA050314MSA. New brand to me so cannot rate it yet.
First day was scheduled between 2 and 4pm started raining and was canceled although it stopped raining before 4pm next day technician arrives on a weekend so additional charges tech isn’t sure what the problem is got called to another job leaves said be back in an hour or two. At 6 hours of waiting I called the service desk they called the tech and find out they will not be able to make it back till Monday. Then the tech calls and relays the same info and recommends calling someone else if I don’t want to wait till Monday. Called another local company their tech showed up within an hour used my refrigerant that I had got me charged up and was on his way in 1 hour
Matthew was on time. He completed the air conditioner maintenance and installed our new Patriot whole house air purifier system in good time. He explained everything to us and answered all my questions. He was knowledgeable, polite and friendly. We really appreciate your help. They know what they are doing!

Furnace went down at worst time possible Right in middle of extreme coldest days/nights weve had in years. Most miserable I have ever been. No heat Sunday morning to Friday afternoon. Having an old furnace the part had to be ordered. Was told it would be 3 - 5 days, only 2 1/2 days. David was first tech on Monday and Dakota on Friday. We just moved to the area and our furnace was over 40 years so we wanted to get it replaced asap, along with the HVAC if the price was good. This was just days before Christmas. We scheduled a few different companies to come give us an estimate and Latta-Whitlow was able to come that day. Levi came and was very professional and personable, and seemed to really know what he was talking about. Our estimate was a little under what we expected for a high efficiency model from a reputable brand and they offered to take a hefty chunk off the price if we would commit to them that day as they were trying to fill slots the week of Christmas. There were able to do the install as early as the next day which was perfect because we werent even going to be able to get another company out to get us an estimate for a day or two, which ment install wouldnt be until after Christmas. We got the estimate on a Monday and had them install on Wednesday. Levi and David did the install and were both timely and professional, and were clearly explained what all the did and how the new equipment functioned compare to the old. The installation of a high efficiency furnace required them running some pipes through he ceiling and cutting an exhaust hole in the side of the house. Everything looks clean and well done. Would definitely recommend this company.

Ive used Latta-Whitlow 3 times in the last 18 months spending about $4,800 total. Their rates are reasonable and at this point thats the only positive I can give. I had a new AC unit installed for the first job, and that was an all positive experience, however, the last 2 jobs, they didnt even complete from my perspective of what I asked of them. I dont even know why I gave them another chance.Their guy who gives estimates and their tech didnt care at all about what I said.Back in August I had an AC that was condensing terribly inside all over the ductwork and vents, so much so it was running down the walls. He came in and recommend that I replace the thermostat, which I did, and then he recommend serving the AC. Replacing the thermostat did make improvements, but it was still condensating. I saw no noticeable change after the AC service. I called back, and asked what the tech recommend to do, the customer service lady of course didnt know and couldnt recommend anything, so I asked if I could speak to the tech, she gave me a run around and basically said no. They did keep trying to push me to replace my furnace, which is old, but has zero issues, and they completely ignored the entire reason I came to them, which was the condensation issue. I ended up contacting a different company and they recommended some additional insulation. Which stopped the problem.The last time they came out to repair a AC unit which had been vandalized. I told them the AC unit needed repairs and the garage had lost all electricity, and I was assuming it was connected somehow to the AC being vandalized as we lost power at the same time. The guy who gave estimates said okay, and he would get me an estimate. This whole time I assumed they would fix both. The tech comes out and repairs the AC, and I ask if the power is back on at the garage, he said he has no idea what I am talking about and is rude about it on top of that. He recommends I call an electrician. Well, I will, and that was the last time I will use Latta Whitlow. I cant recommend this company, 2 of the 3 times they didnt do what I asked. If there are things you guys cant or wont do, tell me before you start the job. It seems to me all they really want to do is service and install new equipment, and for that, maybe they are alright. But I wouldnt call them for anything else.

I am not normally a person to write revievs but my experience Not been a good one. . Randy came out over a year ago and got me all situated eith a new ac and heating unit. They originally installed my line wrong and had to come out and fix it. I was happy after that but the customer sevice after the fact has been terrible. I have called multiple times and asked to talk to randy about issues i had and nothing. He wont return a call or anything. Latta whitlow was bought out a while back and ever since the service is less then acceptable.
