They come to you house to service Grandfather clocks, but the hours are very limited

Fixed my Old Black Forest Cu Cu Clock that has been in the family for over 50 years.

The clock shop (repairman in the back) collected my money ($65 cash) when I dropped off my clock to be repaired. I believe he gave me a receipt but I was unable to locate that receipt. When I went to pick up my clock, I assumed that they always collected the money in advance and that I would not have a problem. Unfortunately, I was called a liar and that they never do it that way even though I explained that I definitely paid for the repair up front. They would not believe me but said they would HAVE to take my word for it in a tone that clearly indicated they believed I was lying. I told them that I would not have them think me a liar or a thief and paid them AGAIN for the repair of my clock. I would definitely not recommend...I came out of their shop feeling as if my integrity had been questioned. Ridiculous and I suggest they keep a closer eye on their repairman.
