Very attentive service and easy, no pressure purchasing process.
Great place to find low priced used cars. Many available under $5,000. Talk to Jaz. She is cute :)
I got a Prius here with low mileage. Im almost at 300k now on the mileage. Did all the recommended maintenance, I feel I will have this car for a good while. I found out the Owner is a fine mechanic and obviously selects low risk cars. My family has also purchased from Regan Motors. They still have there cars too.
Ok.most cars are high miles.bad pain.very used.overpriced by 2k on each car. Staff was nice just no sale for me.
Garrett and his staff are super helpful and knowledgeable. Great service! Highly recommended!
I drove over 3 hours to visit Regan Motors, on there website It mentions they finace ANY vehicle (which is a LIE) I was interested in a 2006 Honda CRV which was priced around $6,500.00 I had $5,000 cash and wanted to finance the rest. I was told that this car would sell fast and that they would not bring there price down at all, I wanted to buy the car more then they wanted to sell it instead with sales taxes and registration the total came near $8,000 dls Worst Car sale experience ever. Sincerely do not recommend this place unless you have cash.....
I would buy a car from Regan motors just show me the carfax
I recently visited this auto dealership and was fortunate enough to deal with a young man named Carlos. I was very pleased with this young man and the way I was treated. His honesty a d patience are greatly appreciated. Thank you Carlos!
Great place, gave me a great deal. Garrett, Carlos, and Jazlyn were very helpful.
This Dealership was a pleasure to do business with. I enjoyed the help I received from Antonio and, I will buy from Regan again. I had a minor issue the day I purchased the car and, it was taken care of the next day with no problems! I shopped many pre-owned Dealerships and Regan took care of me like family! Richard White, Ventura. (Woody is my Boxer!)
The Regan team has exceeded all my expectations. Bought my vehicle four years ago and still have it to this day! Never had any problems during negotiation or on the road. Lydia, the finance manager was especially exceptional as she helped me after purchase with the DMV. I can attest to the professionalism and care of Regan Motors and will definitely be purchasing from them again!
Garrett is very nice and easy to work with. Took jeep home for the weekend so my mechanic can check it out Monday, no hassle. Im very pleased so far.......it had no gas. Gas light on. Put $40 in it, a bit tacky.....stay tuned.....Well, didnt work out. After a sorted weekend with jeep related issues and poor customer service, meaning no follow up phones calls apologizing for so much inconvenience and the businesses v/m being full so one has no way of leaving a message. My mechanic on Monday informed me that the jeeps engine had been powerwashed then heavily armoralled, I suppose Friday at their mechanic? My mechanic told me it also needs at least $2000 worth of work that Garrett neglected to mention to me. Oh, he did say it needed an a/c condenser but Garrett didnt mention that the condenser had exploded sending shards of metal throughout therefore needing an entire new system, engine misfireing, 2 oil leaks, coolent leak, rust that had been painted over, etc.My mechanic let me know the air bags showed a code and they were not operational. To sell someone a car without working airbags is very negligent. Especially since the light was on and his mechanic Im sure was aware as was Garrett. My mechanic even doubts its from California due to the rust damage on the under portion of vehicle.Garrett gave me a carfax report listing this jeep as in Excellent condition which its certainly not in.I guess Im really upset because he allowed me to operate this vehicle at highways speeds and on city streets without letting me know airbags were not operational, should have been my choice not his. He drove it,, he saw the airbag light..Heres the best part..the key was stuck in the ignition when I got to my mechanic and still stuck when I brought it back to say no thank you.MR. GARRETT REGAN, DO NOT PATRONIZE ME BY REPLYING TO THIS REVIEW.
So check this out I went to go look at a specific car and i drove over an hour with the agreement this car was inspected. Let me tell you it was NOT inspected thoroughly They took the car next door to the Tire place and said it was inspected ..so anyways the guy Carlos said We got the car inspected i asked the place where the car got inspected and they said it was not fully inspected they just did tire check and basic look around. So i had to make arrangements to get the car looked at because theyre inspection was not even legit and I was so disappointed because the place i took the car to said alot of things were shady about the car We cant tell if its been in an accident because it was repainted ..motor mounts were messed up...axels were messed up...the passenger side door doesent work with key..power steering hose leak...low oil.. and a few more issues i cant even think of.anywayse..LOW oil...NO OIIL?!? i asked them when the last time the car had a oil change they dont have a clue. this place is extremely unpleasant and unprofessional.. I made a deal with Carlos and then i was told everything was good such a horrible experience wasted so much time..First of all AAMCO is next door to the dealership along with the bogus tire place WHY would you not get it inspected there. they said they do free inspections? This dealership has some of the worst customer service I have ever seen. Be careful everyone!!
I don’t know why people see fit to leave reviews not based on facts. I got a deal of a lifetime here!!!! First of all, I wanted THAT specific car, which is not made anymore! He had me at hello and he knew it. I WANTED THAT CAR. If it was priced way higher, I still would have wanted it. I tried to legitimately make a show of doubt because I had just been in an accident and was skittish but the truth is I wanted it. I couldn’t haggle because I wanted it but maybe he thought I would haggle and when I didn’t, he dropped the price, anyway. If you buy a used car, you are marrying into a relationship and the one I got is a ten in my book.
Got my daughter a mini cooper here. So far so good. Nice people
Good selection of reasonable priced vehicles 👍😁
Two times I have gone there, no sales people were around! Their dealership was wide open but nobody was there. The cars on the lot were all unlocked and dirty. Evidently they really don’t care about selling cars. I went elsewhere to buy.
Nice kid working. Said he owned the place. Car we went to see had a check engine light, headlight out and had tools and pictures from the previous owner still in it...
Lifesavers! Literally! Thank you!
Recently they helped me get into a car fast in a time of need. Had a few issues but worked to resolve them. This was our second time doing business with them.
Staff was courteous, cars were cleaned. We came prepared to make a deal and purchase a car. The car I came to look at was a nice car but it had a couple issues, hence I offered a lower price (service engine light was on and the shifter knob had issue). We also were looking at another car which was currently on showroom floor and scheduled for a test drive with the intent to buy, but it had to be for another day, as we understand moving cars around a showroom floor is not easy. We scheduled for another day, two days later, and I offered to put a deposit on the car to hold it, but there was no need, they said. We scheduled for the test drive. Fast forward two days and we are en route to your location, 30 minutes away from where we live. we got there and the car was just sold twenty minutes ago. In my professional experience, if a car is pulled aside, and an appointment is made to test the car with intent to purchase, you confirm the appointment with the person before letting someone else take off with it, and you also let the walk in know that the car is currently scheduled for another (potential) buyer. That was very unprofessional on your dealership. I had looked forward to purchasing possibly two cars from your location and now probably none.
Are the cars were decent but definitely had damage mostly front-end and back-end damage. Prices are a little bit High even interested in has going to a slightly lower price. And wish they would have dropped just 1,000 would have definitely bought the vehicle. But under the circumstances probably better off that I didnt get it
Easy going, laid back....hard to catch the decision maker there with my schedule.Might want to make an appointment!
Cautious with this seller! He comes across really nice and makes the sale seem easy. But I got stuck paying for repairs for the car I purchased. He sold me a car that had NO TAIL LIGHTS NO REAR BRAKE LIGHTS, it was daylight when I purchased the vehicle so I was unaware that I was driving without rear lights until night time. BOTH front wheel hubs and bearings were shot plus the motor mounts were bad. When I drove off of the lot I called immediately because of the loud noise and vibrations. He didnt offer me a test drive so I was screwed. He already knew what the problems were and told me if it bothered me to call him and he would get it fixed. HE NEVER CALLED ME BACK AND STILL HAVE NOT SPOKE TO HIM ON THE PHONE EVER SINCE HE SOLD ME THE CAR. I emailed him and he said he would help me but never did! A week later I was able to get the car fixed and it cost me $447.00 for the repairs. When I asked him about paying for the bill he told me that he couldnt help me because he put the car in repossession status. SO I HAD TO PAY OUT OF POCKET INCLUDING THE FULL PRICE FOR THE CAR AND IT WAS VERY STRESSFUL HAVING TO DEAL WITH SUCH UNPROFESSIONAL UNABLE TO COMMUNICATE SALESMAN. Dont sign the contract about waiving the cancellation option. Dont let them do the DMV paperwork because I still have nothing on the car or the DMV and I paid him extra to process it for me . BE SURE TO CHECK EVERY SINGLE INCH OF THE INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR. The cig lighter in the vehicle that you plug your phone charger into was capped, when I took off the cap to plug my cord into it the was just a empty hole !!!!!! Totally DISAPPOINTED that I got screwed on this deal!
I bought a used car for my son here. The car is OK except for a missing jack. I noticed it before we decided to buy after Regan Motors assured me that they would order one and have it ready to pick up in a couple of weeks. Its been over a month now and they still havent gotten a jack. I understand that its a used car. When the seller agrees in writing to obtain a missing jack, I expect them to follow through.
Test drove a car they said was the best I their lot. Quarter of the mile down the road it died. And we had to walk back. The guy said he knew it cause he had to jump the car for the test drive but didnt tell us that. I have never met such shady individuals. Dont trust a word these leeches say. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere
I was only there with my son who was purchasing a car. The paperwork for lender and motor company were not finished so it took most of the day to complete. The personnel were friendly and helpful.
I had a great experience at Regan. Antonio helped me. He had a very easy going open manner. I test drove three cars and picked a used car that was just right. The whole transaction was smooth and stress free. The lot, the cars, the office and the staff were all clean and professional.
Troy (sales agent) and Mr. Regan (owner) are by far the nicest and honest people Ive dealt with in a long time. The moment I arrived, they went out of their way to go over every single detail of the truck I bought, and were extremely friendly to me and my family all the way through. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great car or truck. Clean lot, organized office and friendly staff. I was very impressed to say the least.
The staffs are very accommodating and they give lots of time to choose what you really want.
I love, love Regan Motors! This place is great for used cars. Ive bought 3 cars from them in the last 2 and a half years and they are all still running great. Love how they dont pester you for sales. They give you space to breathe and paruse the cars and ask questions when you need to. Antonio is awesome, hes helped us for every sale. I recommend Regan to everyone I know. They have in house financing which is fantastic and they really work with you if you have any issues at all. I cant wait to pick up my F-150 tonight! Keep up the great work, guys!
Got a great deal on a car great service
Regan Motors is awesome! Easily the best used car lot in Thousand Oaks. The staff members are all really kind, especially the owner. Troy was able to help me find exactly the car I wanted!
The owner hangs up on you via phone and does not answer any questions about the cars via phone... Also did not answer when I called back multiple times. This is a shady, SHADY individual and not a good businessman.
Bad car deal-No recommendation!Bought a used car (dealer assured there wont be anything the next months) but after few days I had to replace the starter and the light for $300. Called the dealer which promised to at least help to get a discount at the mechanic - he lied-never called him. Thought I made a great deal as I felt well advised. Too bad-never again.
Good people to deal with.clean vechicles and was as presented.you conduct a straight forward business you will succeed and remain in business.thanks again.
I was just there. Not one person came to help me. The vehicle I was look for that was on Carfax wasnt even there. Very bad experience. I had money to spend but no one help me. Was there for 25 minutes. One person said hi and that was it.
I had a wonderful experience tonight. Very knowledgeable and honest young man helped us decide which car wed like to purchase! Well be back to finalize the deal!
I had the best experience buying a car. I was on a budget and they really worked with my situation. Everyone was friendly and more than patient. Thanks again!!!
We bought a Subaru Forester from Don. He was just all around excellent: well informed, not pushy, and has such a pleasant personality. A thoroughly good experience.
They claim to have cars with no crash history but the 2 cars that we were looking at were both crashed. Don’t go here unless you want a crashed car and want to have no idea on what’s going on with the staff. Terrible customer service.
This is my second purchase from Regan in the last 4 years. The best service Ive ever experienced. Thanks again guys!!!
I was looking into an SUV here. It turned into one hell of a disappointment. First I get to this place and NO ONE is there. The door is unlocked, but no staff are there. After about 15min of waiting for someone who doesnt work there, but is a friend of the people that run the place, helps us out. This Transitions into a 20min wait looking for the keys to the car I was trying to look at. The key is nowhere to be found. I will state that one more time. They did not have keys to a car on their lot. After that 20min point, someone that works that got in and looked around himself. Still could not find the keys. He calls everyone and it turns out someone had taken the keys off-site. It would be a 20min wait more before we would be able to see the keys. Its late at this point. I will not be able to bring it to a shop for inspection. This is a USED car. You need to run an inspection before buying. I tell them look its late. We will return not next day but the day after to take a look at this car. They were cool with that. Now we get to that day after, the day I am writing this review. The sold the car from under me. Do not go to this place to buy a car. If my experience says anything. They are unprofessional and will only waste your time.
Great selection at great prices, they were under construction but that didnt stop them from being helpful, courteous and understanding of finances...easy to work with, have purchased 3 cars already, time for a truck
I went in on 8-2-16 to look at a car that I saw on line. I instead found another vehicle I fell in love with. I asked about it, and the sales person kept wanting me to take it for a drive, however, I wanted to do a bit of research first. The next day, this would have been Wednesday I called the sales person Antonio, and informed him that I wanted to schedule a test drive to take it to my mechanic in Moorpark. It was clear that he did not seem happy about this, but I told him that if everything checked out I would be buying the car that day. he repeated the appointment and I set this up with my mechanic.I arrived at Regan Auto at about 12:25PM, I said between 12-12:30. There was no one anywhere to be found. I paced and walked around the showroom till after 1pm before another young associate showed up. I tried to talk to him, but he was preoccupied doing other things, and basically ignored me till I followed him out into the lot and attempted to get him to help me...He said he would call Antonio, and he did, and I could hear him over the phone calling me an old man. then without any feeling he told me the car was pulled, it took me more digging to find out that meant someone else placed a deposit on the vehicle, that morning. They could not call me, they could not inform me...They could not ask the other person to wait. They opened at 10, I was there at 12:25...2.5 hours. I get one day off a week, I did this on my day off working to coordinate two mechanics and everything I need to do, for what, to waste gas, and 45 min driving to be left with nothing.I feel disrespected, degraded, and used. I wonder now if there was something wrong with the car which they didnt want me to find out. I feel that from the on set, they did not take me seriously, even though I worked to get the cash to buy the vehicle out right if it passed muster. I would not want to subject others to this type of unprofessional treatment. And I would have had no problem placing a deposit if asked, but again no one thought I was serious.
I bought a car from Antonio a while ago great car, Very easy to deal with, as soon I get a couple of bucks hope to go back in and check out them again . Soon I hope .
I have bought 3 vehicles from there and have had a great experience every time.
I was referred here by a family member, who has purchased vehicles here in the past. I was not disappointed. I worked with Antonio who was very personable and friendly while still maintaining his sense of professionalism. He worked with me on some of the minor cosmetic issues you would find on most used cars; Dents, cracks, tire wear, ect. I did not feel hassled or hustled. I was free to browse the vehicle I was interested in at my leisure without any being hovered over or given the excuse Its a used car for every minor cosmetic fault I found. The vehicle itself runs excellently. They have an in-house financing and they are willing to work with you. Overall a nice small used car lot, but I feel with time will grow as long as they maintain the standards I experienced. For anyone reading this who is considering visiting here:You get what you give. Go in with a good attitude, be friendly and patient. That is what you will get in return. Just like you would not to feel disrespected or strong-armed into something neither would they. Have a realistic idea of pricing. For Regan Motors:No business is perfect and you cant grow without a little criticism. My only 2 critiques would be more staffing and better parking. I think Antonio was the only sales associate on the floor so he was busy handling my sale while trying to talk and deal with others AND deal with whoever was doing maintenance and detailing the vehicles. However, he still managed very well. I may be mistaken, but that is just be how I perceived it. The second issue of parking; I was not sure where customer parking was and all the spots up front were taken, I ended up parking in the back in the sales lot. Was somewhat difficult to find a place.
First walked into the building, no one to be found, stood around for a few minutes then finally one guy walks in and proceeds to try and help me out... They were more than willing to sell me a car with a crack in the transmission, telling me that “everything on it has been checked out by our mechanic, and it has fresh oil and coolant (also a lie, coolant was dangerously low after I drove 12 miles to get it home) and of course the CarFax looked like everything had been serviced recently, so I believed them, my mistake obviously. Fast forward barely 4 months, and the transmission is of course giving out, having trouble jumping gears (its automatic), at this point is barely functioning, and the check engine light has come on.... and since it’s a used car, they say “we can’t provide any sort of coverage on it, but we STAND BY OUR PRODUCT!”... HAH! so now I’m pretty much out a car, and there’s nothing that can be done except either pay the $2000+ to replace the transmission, or buy another car. My advice for anyone considering buying a car here? Go somewhere else, you’ll probably get wider/better quality selection and better service anyway!
My wife bought a car from this dealer on good faith. Driving it home, the Engine needs oil lamp came on.I checked the ECM for codes and found a missfire in cylinder 5 and random misfire code on the DTC.I called the dealer and talked to Troy. Troy gave me the number of their mechanic and said they may or may not help her if there are any repair costs. He also called the owner to ask for advice on how to proceed. The owner told him to tell me to reset the computer and dont worry about it.My wife was trying to get a car on her own and now, she is feeling humiliated and unhappy. She even told me to go ahead and laugh at her.
Great selection, friendly staff.
Well just so so, I went in to look at a specific car but it wasnt exactly what they had represented. Also a friend of mine purchased a nice car from them but it had some minor problems. She got it sorted out though
Great Dealership to work with - I live out of state and bought the car site unseen. It was shipped and had one problem - they agreed to fix it right away - thats unusual - I would buy another from them in the future.
They did a great job for my daughter buying her first car.
Ive purchased alot of cars in my days. These men are Shady and play games. Dont Waste your time. Buyer BEWARE!!!!!!!
Never come here you have a better chance at the car auctions honestly we took a car for a test drive that said it had 48000 on the odometer just barely made it to the auto zone when the car started to heat up on us and smoke came out from the hood like crazy it was a carfax car I dont understand how they let these malfunctioning cars slide from their inspections beware...........................................
Not family-oriented and the cars are not in great condition and seem to break down very easy had bought a car not long ago and within a month had to change parts
Horrible no customer service, cars were dirty and crappy. i saw one decent car with no problems.... untill i started it. cash only no finance options. a hole in the wall place
I am making payments on a car there still and they had me sign a contract then changed the contract I was supposed to be done in 2019 they changed the year on me until 2021 on a 2005 vehicle that Ive been paying on since 2016 they want me to pay for this old car for 6 years now screw these people they will rip you off all there vehicles need maintenance thats why there all as is I regret sending people to them and going there then myself Im talking to a attorney and going to fight this Im not getting ripped offFor a 15 year old car . Beware they will change things on you dont recommend at all . And these people still dont have my old vehicle I get from them on my credit report they are very shady .
Most of the cars had trash in them from previous owners & cigarette stench, for the monthly payment it was cheaper to go lease a new Honda.
Great people and awesome selection!!
Bait and switch?
Friendly and easy to work with
Very helpful and friendly
Very nice & friendly
They are NYSE, friendly
Friendly place
Friendly staff.
Very friendly, good advice again and again, I would buy a car there.
