I know this is my second post but I just want to let everyone know that Percy delivered top notch customer service. My journey for a new truck began a few months before my purchase. Percy stayed in touch and kept me updated during that time. Overall, Percy made my dealership experience smooth and it felt like I was in and out the day I picked up my truck. The sales associate Gilbert Acosta was wondering!! He was informative and very personable. I would recommend him to everyone to assist in your car buying needs!! The finance department on the other hand ruined my experience. He made me feel unimportant and not worth his time. I spent $85,000 at your dealership and when I asked him a question about the options his response was “look I don’t even know what you bought.” We had already completed paperwork that he typed up. His cocky demeanor got worse after I told him I was going to finance elsewhere. He told me that’s how they make money. At that point I would have opted for a high interest rate than to help him make any more money from me. Apparently spending $85,000 at the dealership wasn’t enough to warrant any respect. Again I really enjoyed working with my sales associate Gilbert!!

Brought in for 15000 mile service. Told would be about hour to hour and a half if I wanted to wait. The car was done about hour later. Very happy with the service
Management is not staffing the service department properly. The two service writers are doing everything they can but are so overwhelmed that communication suffers, service took 3 days, spent $800 and the car was returned dirty. Incredible you could not even wash the vehicle after that poor experience. Never will go to this dealership again, will go to Alexander in Simi even though I live in T.O.
I have been a Chevy man for over 40 years. I go way back to days at courtesy Chevrolet and great customer service. The process at Silver star from drop of to pick was terrible. Jose didn’t have a clue how to work his iPad and find services available, when asked for direction on repairs I was encouraged to look on Amazon, while he was stumbling around to find codes on the computer 3 other service personnel, including Phillip and Carlos, stood by with no attempt to assist and make my drop off smoother. No one said hi as I entered the service office and there was no friendly Chevy welcome. After many more errors in service and treatment I contacted Carmen the service manager. She was kind on the phone and offered to make sure the paper work would be done and my truck would be washed as a courtesy. When I arrived the truck wasn’t washed and it took Jose over 25 min to figure out the paper work. I’ll be contacting cooperate office regarding the poor service I received. Jose was an excellent service adviser. Making my appointment over the phone was easy and I was able to get an appointment quickly. Dropping off my car and going through my service needs and concerns with Jose, I felt like he was genuinely interested in making sure everything was addressed. He did a good job keeping me up to date and offered me a loaner once it was clear that a warranty repair was going to take another day to complete. He explained in detail the work performed on the car and all of my service needs were addressed completely.
My last visit was excellent in June/July 2021. I went to Silver Star last year around April 2020, I had been experiencing a Service Power Steering and Stabilitrak warning on my instrument panel, when this would happened I would lose all power steering capabilities, but if I was able to stop and turn my vehicle on and off, most the time it would reset. So in April of 2020 I told the service writer of the problem when my truck was in for service, he said I would have to bring it in with the light on, I tried to explain to him that I live 20 miles away and that would not be the safest action to do in Los Angeles traffic, and all it said was to SERVICE the power steering. He just said thats what I would have to do, as you can imagine I was not happy! I was so unhappy, that I went somewhere else to get my vehicles oil changed the next time.Fast forward to June/July 2021, I decided to give Silver Star another chance as I was still having the same above issues with Service Power Steering/Stabilitrak warning. My service writer was MEGHAN HOERNKE, and she was AMAZING!!! Explained my above issues, and she said they would look into it, she arranged a ride home for me and said should be contacting me about the issue. About 2 hours later, she contacted me and said a technician would have to look at it Tuesday and would I be able to bring it in, as I had brought my truck in on a Saturday.Brought my truck in and about 2 hours later Meghan called me and told me they had found error codes with the power steering/stabilitrak and would have to keep the vehicle for 3 days and order/wait for parts. We have an extended warranty for the truck, and Meghan arranged all my rental car needs! In 3 days my truck was fixed and running great, no issue with the power steering or stabilitrak.After my last dealings with the dealership and the previous service writer, Im glad I gave Silver Star a second chance, Meghan went above and beyond, made me feel comfortable and assured me everything would be corrected! Silver Star needs more employees like Meghan! She is a Superstar, makes Silver Star shine.....Thank you,Chris H
The sales team were very helpful but did not pressure us to make a decision. I had walked in a couple of days before for some basic questions and when I left, I was allowed to walk out with no guarantee I would be returning and no one urging me to buy. I appreciated the fact that they were not in our face to make the decision whether or not to buy.
First it was a very disappointing experience this time . it would easy to Blame Covid 19 for the lack of caring and organization, delays in getting parts etc. but to overcharge $305.16 under extended warranty the deductible is $100. and not respond or call to apologize or refund the overcharge, Is the bottom straw. we brought our work GMC work van in for a simple replacement of the slider door handle . something GMC has many problems with and one would think they would stock the part for both the commercial and passenger Savanah vans. first visit May 14, service had van until Monday did not communicate diagnosis nor did they even look at the van until I called to pick it up since it was needed for work . Told the part would be in by Wednesday or Thursday, again no communication with anyone after repeated calls and requests to speak with management . the part was never ordered until May 30 finally serviced on June 3 . by appointment at 9:30 am, it should have taken 1.5 hrs to complete the repair it took 7 hours . We will never use Silverstar Motors for service again

I bought a 2020 Sierra Denali. I went to DMV to get my personalized plates transferred only to find out Silver star registered my truck incorrect. The DMV corrected the problem and told me I was due a refund because of Silver stars mistake. After over a year of emails and phone calls to Silver star I gave up. They knew I wouldnt go to small claims for under $300.00 Joe the sales manager tells you want to hear just to get off the phone call but never did a thing about it. The sales person was very personable and was apologetic but just kept handing me over to Joe. I tried to buy from my local dealer but they just dont care about customers after the deal is done.

My wife and I purchased a 2021 Yukon AT4. Nothing but problems with this dealership from day 1. We drove about 2 hours to this dealership as this particular spec was very hard to find. We already had an approval directly from our credit union so no finance from dealership needed. From the very beginning the “sales manager” Wayne and sales person Ed wanted to run our credits because they needed to determine payoff amount on our Jeep Wrangler we were trading in. I refused to let them run our credits as this was NOT needed to determine payoff amount. I pulled up payoff amount on my app and gave it to them. After about over 6 hours of being at their dealership and what we thought was a done deal, we start getting calls from the sales guy and manager saying that the payoff amount we gave them for the Jeep was wrong and that we were responsible to pay the remaining balance. This dealership never confirmed payoff amount with finance company and now was trying to pin the mistake on us. Both Ed and Wayne were VERY unprofessional screaming at us over the phone saying how it was our fault we gave them the wrong amount and our responsibility to pay it off since it was our car. Mind you we purchased a $80k vehicle from them and gave them $13k down. After a bunch of back and forth with management they only agreed to split the difference in half and I STILL had to pay my old cars note to avoid it being reported as a late payment to the credit companies. Now over 2 months and we still haven’t received plates or registration for vehicle and of course I can’t get ahold of anybody anymore. I’m sorry for such a lengthy review but I wanted to make sure I got everything. This dealership is very unethical, so quick to take your money and just look the other way. STEER CLEAR from this place!!

After my service experience at calabasas BMC for my Mini Cooper, they are now my first choice from now on. You guys just waste too much of my personal time.
I called the salesman and asked him to compare one of his vehicles to another at a different dealership.He told me that their truck has a bedliner, I decided to purchase the car from them could not see or inspect the car until it was delivered.No bedliner, scratches all over the car and not even washed.So I had to return it .Did not take delivery .

What an amazing team!!! I had been having several issues with my GMC and could not figure out what was wrong. I finally decided to take it to a dealer and was blown away by the service. They provided me with a quick diagnosis and a plan to get my car fixed. My service provider Allen was awesome. He always there to help and answer my questions. Very nice salesman Chad up front but as soon as you agree to something the troubles begin.They had an entire day to get the finance right and still got the wrong address and still werent ready with the contract when we arrived.What was promised to be a quick signing took 2 hours with mistake after mistake.Then when printing out the paperwork for the fifth or sixth time they snuck in the junk protection charges that Chad specifically said wouldnt be included.Were currently in resolution to have these charges refunded immediately.Looking for a car, look past this dealer based on this experience or beware

The service advisor informed me that the truck required front brakes immediately and the rear brakes should be replaced soon. I took the truck to another dealership for a second opinion and both front and rear brakes were only 50% worn and do not require replacing.

Jorge makes the experience 5-star. My truck was in longer than expected and I was worried that I wasnt going to be able to have time to get all of my to dos done (pack, pick-up kids from school, go to the store, etc, etc) PLUS pick up the truck before catching a plane that evening.Jorge had someone bring my truck TO me at my house AND return my loaner car for me. It was such a relief to have that extra hour of space in my day. Exemplary customer service. Thank you.

I recently had my oil changed at Silver Star Buick GMC. The staff is very professional and informative. My service contact Jarred, kept me informed of the status of my service as well as communicated to me the service technicians findings and service recommendations.
Rebecca is awesome! She is the first person who actually takes time to listen to customer concerns and questions. All items were addressed and requests made upon arrival were confirmed when service was completed. Absolutely outstanding.I was skeptical due to a prior dealings with service where requests were ignored or neglected.This was the first service on the car. An oil drip was noticed on the garage floor. Despite being the end of the day Rebecca asked for me to bring the car back immediately to get it addressed. Being almost 5 PM on a Saturday, this was fantastic. Upon my arrival she already had the ticket prepared and someone ready to take the car back to the technician.Rebecca made me feel as though I was important to her, the dealership and she had my best interests in mind.I manage personnel across the country. I appreciate customer service and attention to detail.Kudos to Rebecca! She is a gem.

Horrible customer service at this GMC. I got my Acadia and have loved it and GMC. I called GMC and asked them where to turn in the lease, said they could go to any dealership. Walked in to get a new car and turn in my lease here and Ben Prachyl walks up and right away is like no we dont take leases since we are busy here and full. I tell him GMC tells me I can drop if off anywhere and I want to look for a new lease. He doesnt care, walks away twice saying they are a dealership and to call GMC for what to do. GMC says to drop it off there. I ask him about customer service and if he wants me to lease my new car from him.... says he doesnt care and walks away and right to his office.Literally tries to run me around in circles.... go someplace else....

We were looking for a new Buick Enclave in a white frost/choccachino with specific extras. We found one at Silver Star Buick, called and made the deal over the phone.We live over 550 miles away so we rented a car and drove over eight hours, staying that night in a motel down the street from Silver Star Buick. We were there as the dealer opened that morning and the internet salesmanager we had dealt with was there to greet us. He showed us the car and we were very pleased as it was just what we wanted.We went inside and he took our paperwork in to his manager who we heard ask, “They drove how far?” He did a search and discovered that there weren’t that many Enclaves available in that color combination. He sent our salesperson back to us with a new offer that raised our agreed upon price by over $7,000.00.Our having previously made a deal carried absolutely no weight with Silver Star Buick.We really wanted this car, however we couldn’t condone this unethical treatment, so we left empty handed. We didn’t drop off our rental car as planned and just drove back home.I suggest that if you are looking to buy a vehicle that an ethical dealership would be a better choice.

Terrible. End of a 39 month lease. I purchased extra coverage to be covered all the way through the 39 month term at the time of signing for the lease since the manufacturers warranty expires at 36 months. Dealership didn’t have any record of me paying for it and didn’t honor it when the taillight assembly failed for the second time. Absolute rip-off. Never getting anything from this dealship again!

I gave my car for oil change and service air bag problem. They never called me back. After so many calls, I was able to get the car back after 3 days. To the frustration, when they checked air bag issue (passenger seat), they forgot to put the buckle back. I have been trying to reach the service guy for last one week to get this fixed. This is horrible experience....

They treated me well, they were very kind, they solved a problem, they gave me a rental car, but they are still sure of the only thing. Fortunately my insurance covered my car, so if I do not, I recommend going to Enterprise Rent a Car.
