Steve and crew at Motoring Magic are always professional and provide quality service. They provide a much cheaper service alternative to the “stealership’s” service department with OEM quality work. Would recommend 10/10
Steve is very knowledgeable and experienced in the field of The Mini brand. His mechanics are extremely helpful and offer a ton of help. He can get you the parts you need and prices cant be beat. Give them a call and they can help you out.
These guys are great! Gotta Mini? Gotta go here!
Super cool staff, reasonable pricing, and OEM parts.
Best service and work anywhere! So good itll make you want a Mini just to come here!
Scott, Steve and team are fantastic. I am third-generation of an automotive family and worked in the space for over a decade. With that, if someone else is doing work on my cars I can be a bit particular. I quickly realized these guys are true gearheads and know their stuff. Their passion runs deep, as does their knowledge. As it pertains to Minis, these cars can be quirky... no surprise considering its a subset brand of BMW now. Their 10yrs. of working on these cars shows. They know every little issue, along with the best way to not just fix-- but often times remedy the issue or flaw for good. Case in point; the upper strut mount issue that commonly plagues the 1st gen cars. Thanks for your help and dedication to customer service guys!
These guys are AMAZING and VERY knowledgeable! And very VERY helpful, and seem to have all the information regarding my R55. Totally recommend them for honest and fair/competitive pricing.
Scott runs one of the best mechanic shops in Ventura County. He is honest, fair and reasonably priced. I have been a customer for 7 years and he is always quick to take care of all my Mini needs. If you need a simple oil change or complicated mods to your Mini, he and his guys are without question the best choice. Stop going to the dealership and wasting your money!
They fixed my mini, you pay for the quality of the mechanics and the speed at which they can get things done, this is the only place I take my car to. Good service and quality workmanship!
Scott is great. Friendly and knowledgeable team that are enthusiastic about your car as you are. Very oriented doing right for the customer and not selling you stuff.
THE PLACE for Mini Cooper/BMW service/repair.
Scott seems a really nice guy and an honest person.
Scotts shop is what you want from a repair shop: honest, knowledgable service, plus availability that Ive never experienced before. I have stopped in many times, and hell put the car up on the lift and have a look immediately. Thats what I mean!
I moved to Ventura but I still drive to Motoring Magic because I trust them to do excellent work, only when truly necessary, and at a very fair price. I wouldnt take my precious Mini anywhere else!
These guys are great. They worked on my 2008 VW GTI and cleaned the valves for me, changing the timing belt, and replaced the spark plugs. Overall the service is great and their pricing is very fair.
Super knowledgeable and fair! Highly recommend them.
If you want to speed up and improve the handling of your Mini, this the place. Fair pricing and full integrity.
I dont like to write bad reviews unless I feel that its absolutely necessary...this is one of those times. Used one star to get your attention so this does not happen to you. Stay with me here. This is important.Been going here for several years and now I feel that we recently got totally scammed. 2006 mini w/39K had a small leak. Water clear syrupy fluid on garage floor. Ive worked on cars and knew immediately it was a leaking power steering hose. Checked all fluids incl oil and it was fine.Wife called them - said she had a leak (no mention of type). Took in as she has before though I questioned in the past some of the repairs - some legit, some I questioned. They said she needed a new OIL PAN GASKET for $300! ...and btw you also need a new power steering hose! She okayed the repair. I was livid. The was NO oil issue at all. We keep all records and at 10K mi she had an upgraded oil pan gasket replaced by mini dealer on warranty!!Went in to get the car and questioned this gasket. Told them it WAS NOT OIL on the floor, but PS fluid. A little shocked, he changed the subject. Pressed again and takes us to a car on a lift and begins explaining the workings of the oil pan. Really??!! Pressed again and went into some story about the history of Mini totally avoiding the subject. I left fuming. Spoke with a few mini friends who took their car there and they too sometimes felt some - not all - repairs were questionable and hes a nice guy. Thats what they said about Bernie Madoff.Called Mini USA and asked about this alleged new oil pan failure and they said it should last a minimum of 50K miles and most times very rarely fails before 100k. Some never need it according to them. They were kind of in shock that it would fail so soon. Went to my mechanic for my car and he agreed. No oil drips on floor, no smoke, no smell, no problem! So, if you like to throw your money away on fake issues/repair, this is your guy!
Scott has been fantastic! Ive taken all 4 of my minis there and he has never disappointed.
I always know my Mini S is in good hands. Very helpful and honest.
Imagine the most unethical corrupt auto-repair shop and this one is worse. They took advantage of us and cheated us out of our MINI. They told us our MINI was totaled and could only be sold for parts...pennies on the dollar. We came to find out that it was in fact repaired by the shop owner and is in use. Do not trust this shop! They may cheat you as well.
Great service done on my 09 jcw clubman, this will be my go to mechanic from now on.
Best mini service I have ever used for my R56.
Scott and the crew are simply the best. Professional, honest and skilled.
They are good at what they do but very expensive.
Scott is honest and his service is top notch!
They spent an hour examining my sons 2004 Cooper S, and gave me a list of what it needed, no charge! They seem to know Minis inside and out, and while their rates arent cheap, I think you get what you pay for.
Is a Mini fan as well as a mechanic, always a good combo.
Only Scott touches my MINI when the car needs work done.
THE place for mini repairs, service & sales
Scott didnt charge to remove a nail from a tire on my Mini, will go back if I need anything done on my car
Sassy
