Ive been bringing my pets here for years, and Ive experienced nothing but courteousy and professionalism l, and acute attention to detail regarding my pets health. I live across town, where there are at least 3 other closer veterinary offices that I will gladly pass by to come here.

Well I always loved them but my friend called for her dying snake and the receptionists said they were booked till next week and I know for a fact that the vet would have seen the red tail boa right away

I made an appointment online and it said they were going to call so schedule one of the three dates. It has been a week and i still have not received any emails or calls.

I have been struggling to improve my cats health after her being misdiagnosed from another vet and finally had enough of it and decided to come here based on the reviews. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by how well they treat both people and animals. After just one visit they were able to get my cat back to being herself again! Everyone from the receptionists to the doctor were all very pleasant people and were very understanding. Only downside was that the cost was a little high but based on the results it was definitely worth it! This will be my primary veterinarian from now on.

We arrived for the first time yesterday with our precious little fur baby in critical condition. The staff and Dr. Robichaux were wonderful! Their response and care was extraordinary! They immediately saw that our little poodle was administered the necessary treatment and we felt confident they were going to do everything they could to help her survive! What a relief to find someone so caring... Were so happy we decided to take her to Ridgefield Animal Hospital!

What I like most about this office is the fact that the staff are extremely knowledgeable and caring. I have been thoroughly impressed with how much they know about my dogs health. Even when I took her here initially, they took the time to thoroughly examine her and got a good feeling of how she is which I appreciate. I am very comfortable with this office and am confident with the care they provide.

I highly recommend Ridgefield Animal Hospital. My dog went in for surgery a little while back and I wasnt sure how it was all going to go. As a pet owner the last thing you want is your dog to be traumatized during and after the procedure. However I am pleased to report that when I picked him up from Ridgefield he was happy, healthy, and excited to see me. I was very much relieved and impressed with their care and compassion.

The doctors and staff at Ridgefield Animal Hospital are simply the best. Their care and attention, their consistent standard of excellence, and their extraordinary expertise have been the most important blessings in my animals lives for the last 29 years. If only people doctors offices were this well run & personable. The staff are SO accessible. They are exceedingly responsive to any mode of contact that I correspond through. Most importantly, they are just as crazy-stupid about the lengths to which they will go for my dog as I am. One of the great features that they offer is a pet portal, which allows you to see the history of your dogs health records, schedule appointments, & SO MUCH more. I very much like that they remind me when my dogs shots, meds, blood work, etc... are in need of attending to. In short, they help me to a better, more responsible pet owner then I think I would be otherwise.

I would like to personally thank the staff at Ridgefield Animal Hospital for their wonderful boarding services. The certainly went above and beyond to make our dog feel at home while he was there. There is a huge comfort in knowing he is in good hands.

It was a dreadful decision, but I had to put my dog down. The staff at Ridgefield Animal Hospital was awesome. As group of people who love animals, Im sure thats the most dreadful part of their job. Thank you for being so caring towards my dog in her final hours. The sympathy car that was sent to my home was very kind, thank you. This practice it the best.

It is so comforting to know that I can call Ridgefield Animal Hospital at any point my pets need some medical attention. You cannot put a price on that. Convenient hours and very caring staff. We needed a vet over the holidays so we called Ridgefild Animal Hospital up as they are who we normally see and as always they were fantastic in their response and care. They will see your pet without hesitation on weekends or over the holidays which they did for us. Many thanks.

I wish i could give less than 1 star. Dr. Robichaux was so rude from the start. We brought a sick stray in, and she said they would keep her over night until we decided if we were able to keep her. We said alright, she never mentioned boarding fees, feeding fees, and more fees for checking her out. When she gave us a price, we were so surprised and talked about it with the nurses. She said she told us we should bring her to the shelter but not once was that mentioned. We went their for help and advice on what to do with a stray who just had puppies and we felt tricked into paying all of these crazy fees that werent mentioned once. If they recommend boarding, they should recommend the prices as well. We wouldve taken her straight to the shelter if we wouldve been properly informed of the fees and our options. The only option she gave us was boarding. Very unprofessional. Dr. Robichaux even complained about having to pick up kittens earlier that evening. Doesnt sound like someone very passionate about their fur babies.... go here if you want the vets mistakes to cost you over $200 for 2 nights.

My loving dog is a rescue from Ridgefield Animal Hospital. Theyve been our veterinarian for 8 years and theyve provided high quality care and service. We love coming here.

Service was great until I was seen by Dr. Natali Robichaux. Me and my girlfriend brought in a pregnant lab that wouldnt leave our front door step. Struggled with her into the car and vet then was seen by this doctor. We said we werent sure if we wanted her so they told us they would board her overnight no fees or mention of animal shelter. A week later she called us back with a $200 fee we had to pay for boarding and that we had to bring her to the shelter if we didnt want her. Horrible serive and very unproffessional doctor.

Excellent staff . Doctors were very careing. Clean atmosphere. I lost my Maltese a year ago . A week later I received a card signed by everyone for my loss . I thought it was so sweet and thoughtful . They did everything they could for her .

This is a top notch, caring facility in all directions. My first dog and this is my first choice of vet. I wish that all practices could spend as much time with their patients as much as Ridgefield Animal Hospital does with their animals. Great all around.

The physicians at ridgefield are really great and explain everything well. One thing I was concerned about was my pet microchipping because my dog was registered as a different animal which was explained to me and I was fine with it as mistakes happen. The reason for 3 stars is because of my experience with their front desk. I called to ask about a charge on my bill after kenneling and I didnt quite understand how the girl was explaining it and I was not rude but I told her I didnt understand a couple of times. I took her explanation because she finally explained that the medication had to be billed that way since it was split between 2 dogs. In the confusion I forgot to ask if the dogs were administered the medication while being kenneled so I called back. I guess I frustrated her because she immediately put her supervisor on who loudly explained again about the cost of the med. I did become rude after this because as I explained I was not calling about that. The second time they were rude to me was about setting an appointment when my dog had an allergic reaction. 3 strikes and you are out in my book. I hate to do that because the doctors have been fantastic but I cannot stand being treated poorly by anyone.

Ridgefield has been caring for my pets and working dogs since 1998. Their doctors stay up to date on new procedures, etc, and are great about explaining what is really going on with your pet. When my mastiff tore her ACL, it was Dr. Seeman who correctly diagnosed and fixed it. The vet Id gone to before him had told me it was just a sprain, and that there was nothing to do for it but let it heal naturally. My dog would have been limping for life had I not tried Ridgefield! (As it was, she healed so well she ran down a rabbit just a few months after surgery, and never limped on that leg again for the remaining 12 years of her life!)I have only had teeth cleaned twice on my dogs, once with another vet and once with Ridgefield... Ridgefield did a much better job, if shiny white teeth is what one should look for!And finally: they will treat after-hours emergencies. My police service dog went into seizure at about 2 am while at work about 50 miles outside of Thibodaux. In spite of our pleading with a closer vet (who was sick in bed), in the end Ridgefield was the closest vet who would see him. My dog died en route, after passing the other vets closed office on the way to Ridgefield. This is a terribly sad story to share, but I feel it emphasizes the importance of choosing a vet with after-hours emergency care and a big enough staff to have personnel on hand when you need it most.You might pay a bit more for their services, but these folks are worth every penny.
