The young man named Tyrone has the best customer service. He was very attentive and extremely professional. He also made me laugh a few times 🤣 reason I mentioned that part it was 11:45 pm when I checked in.

Im stuck wish I could do 2 reviews because check in was a COMPLETE DISASTER dont even deserve 1 star 4real BUT check out was wonderful Becky and breakfast 10 stars ( lol) no bags in the trash cans in our rooms witch leaves someone to wonder if they really clean like they say Charge twice for the room had to wait for my bank to open over all probably never again told me to talk with skip across the street ( gm ) wouldnt even have him come to me the costumer Becky and Julie 10 star

Room was dirty. Tub had mold around it. Walls had cracks with no repair. Carpet was stained. Toilet seat was broken. Hallway was super hot. For $200 a night and no free breakfast. Really?

Disappointment greeted us as we walked through the doors. The smell of stale cigarettes and unwashed bodies was our first indication that we overpaid for our accommodations. The decor is reminiscent of 1990s Motel 6. Our room smelled like mildew and mold and was. The carpet had several stains and Im not convinced that its not from a recent crime scene. The bed skirt was torn. The AC was a wall unit and provided minimal cooling in the room. We requested a fan to assist with circulation. One was brought up promptly earning the single star. Our stay was in May with relatively cool temperatures. I dont want to imagine what hot, moist accommodations would greet us in July/August. The icing on the cake was the cigarette left behind for someone to enjoy. Interesting as our room was non-smoking. One positive note is that the staff we encountered was polite. Certainly not worth what we paid for the room, and Ill be hesitant to ever stay at another Marroitt again.

The bed was comfy, but the bathroom needs some refurbishing. The paint was wearing away on the bottom of the tub, the wallpaper was peeling and there was mold and mildew on the shower curtain, shower head and corners of the tub. I think they should have someone from corporate come inspect and get things up to Marriott standards. They only had conditioner and a bar of soap, no shampoo, body wash or lotion. The price does not reflect the quality here. I know these are hard times, but I know they can do better. We stay in Marriott hotels often and have come to expect higher standards. Oh, and the pool was closed. :(

My husband and I live just 30 miles away. We booked a jacuzzi room just to utilize the pool and jacuzzi. Unfortunately, the pool was not up and running, one of the main reasons we booked. Im not sure if this was a Covid related reason but under the amenities it still list a pool, thats pretty deceiving. Theres no breakfast, and we spent extra money the next morning on 1.Coffee at the Bistro (which the caramel macchiato was unbelievably good!)2. We had to drive to go get breakfast elsewhere.Thats a source of frustration when you already spent extra money on a jacuzzi room and they dont even serve a cereal bar. Our room, was in need of some serious repairs, it looked like they were attempted but a botched job!!! The walls were horribly patched, as well as some of the shower had caulking, just a few inches in length instead of consistent, you could also tell the jacuzzi had been repaired and somewhat patched. When we turned the jacuzzi on a pretty big chunk of hair came out of the jets. Also, our lamp shade was literally hanging off by the wire frame. We left early simply because the bed was so uncomfortable we returned home to go to sleep. We spent our honeymoon here 10 years ago and wow! This isnt a fraction of what it used to be! Would not recommend and wont be returning unless these things get adjusted.

I usually like the Courtyard by Marriott but this time I dad a bad experience I requested a suit but I was not informed that the suite was handicap room, if I would have been informed that it was a handicap room I would not have upgraded to the suite.......I ask the agent to discount the room to a regular room rate but she said she could not do it.......I always like to leave a tip, I gave the agent a generous tip......I think she could have worked with me to satisfy my stay at the Marriott Courdyard. Also, I dont like to give negative comments but when I receive bad service, I have no other choice.

First looks seemed fine, but it smelled pretty bad like cigarettes. We got our card and headed to our room. There was only one elevator and it wasn’t very good and was very sketchy. It took awhile to open the door and made loud noises. Once we got off the hallways where very warm. Our room was also warm and there where stains in the carpet that weren’t cleaned up. The rest of the night was fine. The breakfast they had was good with a good variety and they had Starbucks. Overall it’s an ok hotel.

The lobby looks decent but it masks what the rooms really look like: I stayed in room 308 and it look decent until you really start paying attention bed spread look liked some one had been laying on it previous to our arrival. I had to ask for new linens because it was stained and there was hair over it. They did not offer to change it so I changed it my self . Bathroom walls looked disgusting. What’s really bad is that their house keeping really pays no attention to the cleaning. My kids went outside to the balcony and the first thing they found was a pack of cigarettes in the balcony that’s to show the there is no attention to detail whatsoever. Will never stay here gain.

I stayed there last night for mine and my husband honeymoon and the staff was amazing. Everyone was so nice and respectful. They helped out so very much and EVERYTHING WAS CLEAN! I barely have the words to explain how great of a experience.♥

Hotel looked clean from the outside, and in the lobby. Front desk employees were super nice.Room: looked clean when you walked in and it’s very roomy. We had a two queen bed room. Popcorn ceilings with patches of missing paint and I’m assuming that’s due to leaks and wet spots/mold or mildew. There were patches of mildew/mold on the ceiling and the room smelt of mildew especially in the shower. Wet stains on the lamp, I’m assuming the ceiling leaked again. It had been raining when we were there yesterday and we heard drip, drip, drip, drip all evening until we fell asleep....it sounded like it was coming from inside one of the walls. That roof and those ceilings need to be redone. In fact, that whole hotel needs to be refurbished. I would have never stayed there if I knew how bad it was, and I used my points! 🥲 the bed was okay but the pillows are TERRIBLE. The bathroom was okay but the shower water smelled of strong mildew. Luckily we only have a five hour drive home because we are super tired from a terrible nights sleep. I’m being super nice with this reviews by the way! I would never stay at this hotel again. The smell alone was terrible and I really don’t think it’s healthy to stay in rooms with mildew and mold. I’m surprised they are allowed to stay open with that going on. Marriott needs to fix this.

Hotel needs to be remodeled. Hotel lobby looks okay. As we walked in the rooom looked clean except for a stain on the rug . Bed was okay.Coffemaker is super tiny and only allows to make one small 4 ounce coffee cup. And only have coffee packets to be made for two.The furniture and TV are old. The bathroom was not that great. Wall paper on the side of the shower has detached somewhat over time from the wall and humidity has created black mold on the wall and inside the detached wallpaper. Looks disgusting. The tub corners where it connects with the tiles have black dots of mold or fungus. The plastic shower curtain is about 3 to 4 inches longer than it needs to be, so much so that it covers a small area of the bottom of the tub. It has a grayish, slimy algae in the bottom edge where it sits at the bottom of the tub. When one takes a shower one steps on it and it is slippery.The ceiling above the shower is all patchy. Same in other areas in the bathroom.There are brownish dots on the bathroom ceiling .The glass window of the room has never been cleaned from the outside. One cannot see much to the outside because it is covered with molds or algae. The window screen too.First time we stay there and last. It is sad because other Courtyards we have stayed before are always spotless and well taken care of.I hope they remodel because it has a good location.

We were making our way back to Wisconsin from Houston and decided to call it a night in Texarkana. What a good decision! Front desk staff were BEYOND friendly and overall just lovely. Helpful about local food delivery spots. Knowledgeable about all things local really. The room was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this spot if youre in the area and need a place to rest your head.

Beds were worn out, you could feel each spring. TV had a poor picture quality and froze, it was not watchable. Couch was worn out. Shower didn’t drain well. Commode barely flushed. Our first room leaked at the window so we were moved rooms. The second room also leaked at the window but not as badly, plus the rain stopped, so we decided to stay because our next move was going to be to a different hotel and we really just didn’t have time for all of that drama. The water pressure in the shower was good and the AC did work.

Clean and quite room. Checkin was fast and friendly. Great location with several resturants within walking distance. Its a little older and probably about time for a remodel, but even with that, it was clean. There is a lounge and bar in the lobby as well and they have Starbucks if thats your thing. Ill certainly stay here again!

The best part of our stay was the sweet front desk lady who was helpful. This place is something to be desired and was the worst experience at a hotel as far as amenities go. The first room we went to had a major leak at the window. While waiting to get a new room the front entrance started leaking as well. We were moved quickly and our 2nd room also had a leak at the window but it was not nearly as bad. The TV did not stay on and the picture when it was on was so blurry it was not watchable anyway. The sofa was very worn out and the bed springs were not only felt but were very squeaky when we went to get in bed. The toilet took several flushes to wash away waste and the tub did not drain well either.

I really want one of those beds. Its was SUPER comfortable. Even the pillows were just right. The room was really clean. In fact the entire hotel looked spotless. I was on the third floor, last room by the exit. It was very quiet. Parking was adequate. Rooms have microwave, small refrigerator, TV, etc. Member rates are great, $79/weekend, $84 Sunday thru Thursday. I would say avoid the store, prices are ultra inflated. The Bistro prices and offerings are not great either. So if you like free breakfast, book elsewhere. There are restaurants that are located nearby. I highly recommend this hotel.

This property is beginning to show its age. The room was clean but over the top. Amenities appeared dated but still provided us a somewhat comfortable place to stop for the night.

Positive: It was nice to have a bistro there and not have to leave to eat, altho they should consider their pricing. The bed was comfortable and even tho the hotel is old and needs some fixing up it is very clean and the staff was friendly. I would stay here Again Negative: Pillows need replacing. Hotel needs an update, paint peeling etc. bistro is overpriced. Their were teens running around being loud but that wasn’t the hotels fault.

I never booked this hotel but had to stay there on Nov 23rd as I was transferred due to overbooking from Towneplace suite by Marriott. I was traveling with 2 kids one of them is infant with dietary restrictions. That is why we booked two room with kitchen. When arrived at the door with confirm reservation after driving whole day we were denied reservation. Another horror story. Anyway we called to Courtyard to confirm the two room we have is joined, they were not but receptionist in evening managed to get us two joined room but no kitchen. We also asked on phone if they have Baby crib which they said yes. When we reached there we were told they don’t have Baby crib but They can arrange it. After waiting few hours we called and were told the same thing. My wife went on reception and asked she will wait there until they get it. After 15 minutes they said they can’t arrange it. And gave few blankets and pillows. But 15 minutes later we got a call that they found a crib and after 5 minutes it was in our room. We had to fight to get it but at last it was there. We appreciate the effort of the receptionist in evening. Checkout story was even horrible as another receptionist was very rude. I got a receipt for two separate room and I only made one reservation which I had to get reimbursed as my relocation benefit. I asked if they can get me one combined receipt and I was told they can’t do it. That’s fine I told this receipt says one guest per room, could you correct that as we were 2 guest per room, she (Nina) was rude again and told that it’s my fault. I told I booked two bedroom suite and listed 4 guest in reservation if she want, I can show her confirmation email she didn’t believe and I had to pull-up my reservation email and show her. She then changed/corrected that in a minute, it was that easy.I have been loyal guest of Marriott from long time it seems it’s time to explore other brans, two bad Marriott experiences in less than 18 hours. Sorry Marriott you lost me and people reading and trusting this review.

I have always been pleased with Marriott properties. Clean rooms, great value, professional staff. But what sets this property apart is the character of it’s team. Hands down the friendliest, kindest, and most accommodating staff I have come across in a hotel.

Dont stay here. This hotel is in serious need of some TLC and renovations - way below Marriot standards. Shame on management for not taking care of their property or supporting their employees.When we arrived late at night, the key card system wasnt working and neither were the ice machines. The poor front desk girl was checking people in and running to open their rooms for them, then get ice for other guests...in spite of being frazzled, she was very polite and helpful. I was so impressed with her. The hotel was almost fully booked and she was the only employee there. The elevator was a little glitchy too but it got us up and down in the end.In our room, lots of things were just falling apart, from light fixtures to peeling wallpaper. Everything had been wiped down but wasnt really scrubbed clean, so there was dried on gunk and hair on the bathroom counter. Found trash behind the bathroom door, and more by the couch. These are corners of the room that obviously are not getting cleaned. In addition, the room smelled moldy. I didnt see any mold but the smell was unmistakable.

This hotel has mice and when I notified Marriott, they told me the manager from this location would contact me directly. This was late August. To date, I have yet to hear from anyone. So now I just want other guest to be aware. I will never stay here again. I also have pictures of the potato chip bag chewed through and the droppings left behind on the desk.

Tub was sunk in the middle and held water, mattress was old and lumpy, very musty smell. Way below most marriott hotels weve stayed in. Needs updated!!!

Courteous, clean and comfortable

While travelling to Houston, we chose a place to stay for the night when we got tired. We took pot luck and were sooo lucky. Great staff, easy access from interstate, lovely amenities (even though we were too tired to used much). Bar and lobby area were really attractive. Matress and even the pillow were to die for. I slept in but hubby said the breakfast was terrific, and everything was really well priced. Loved it and would stop there again.

Positive: Nice location and the staff was friendly. Negative: When we got to the room it was musky smelling the ac leaked and got my purse and suitcase wet and the clothes inside. The water pressure was awful and they gave us 1 as towel in the room.

I booked my room online then when I get to the hotel they charged my account again plus an extra 60.00 more and I had told them it was already paid for and I had proof and they still charged my account again. There was 2 other group of people they done the same thing to as they done me. Undoubtedly they dont care about the stress and hardship they put onto their customers cause I contacted the main office and they will not respond back to me. As of right not I would not recommend them. They didnt even offer any free breakfast or nothing for the problems they caused. Trip was horrible cause of them.

Austin checked us in and couldnt have been more polite or helpful. Rooms are clean, spacious. However they do need to be updated. Especially the shower-tub. You can feel the angle of the tub when you step in, like a canoe. We have stayed at newer Courtyards and such a difference,

This a 5 star hotel. The room was clean and the staff went out of their way to assist us. The interior was very up grade and modern. Even the parking lot was clean and in good repair. We ate a hot breakfast which was very good, even though it was alittle pricey. Cant complain about anything here.

First time staying at this property. Staf were excellent. We were driving from.Kingsport Tennessee to Austin to attend funeral.of my husbands best friend of 50 years. A 18 hr drive, we were emotional drained. The staf were so curteous and professional. We loved the location, back off main road so we had a quiet night to get the rest we needed to continue.Room was very clean and comfortable. No complaintsPlan on staying on our return from Austin on the the 2nd of Feb.

I highly recommend the Courtyard in Texarkana for your next visit. The staff was wonderful-desk clerks, kitchen, housekeeping-all were professional, pleasant and accommodating. We traveled with a group and the staff truly seemed glad to have us there. The rooms were comfortable and clean. I will remember this hotel for my next trip to Texarkana.

It was really good. Went there for Valentines. The hot tub was good, the beds were nice and soft and the employees were really nice. One problem though. Water bottles were 3.00 dollars! Thats pretty expensive for a bottle of water. At least have it 1.50 at the most. Its water.

We stayed at the Courtyard Marriott in Texarkana because it was close to St. Michael Hospital. It is located on Cowhorn Creek, which makes it easy to navigate without having to get back on the interstate. My husband is very ill, and we live in Oklahoma, so we stayed for several days to be close to the ER and to the doctor. Everyone was very helpful, friendly and understanding. We will be staying again next week, as he has another procedure scheduled at the hospital, and the doctor has asked us to stay close to Texarkana following the procedure. We highly recommend the Courtyard Marriott-Texarkana.

Nightmare, dont stay here. Just checked in and no carts can be found, the elevator stopped working, we had to carry coolers and a lot of luggage up the stairs to our 2nd floor room. We were missing towels in the bathroom, so I went to the desk. The young man at the reg desk left to get me towels. A guest can see straight into the offices and laundry while standing at the desk. He gathers up towels without putting on gloves after handling guests IDs and credit cards etc. Some of the housekeeping staff are wearing masks on their chin and below their nose. There is a water leak (big hole in the ceiling) at the main lobby and corridor. Carpets are stained in the corridor and our room. Whomever owns this hotel needs to train their staff and properly maintain this hotel. I recommend the Fairfield Inn Hotel near by, its well maintained and has a properly trained staff. Well skip our to go breakfast here and clear out of this hotel as soon as possible.

We were made feel welcomed and important. Mary was outstanding in sharing all the amenities and extras. We only stated one night...yet could have stayed much longer. We will definitely made this our halfway lodging our next trip to see family!!

I am from Cincinnati, Ohio and my mom, son, and I had a great experience when we arrived at the Courtyard by Texarkana. The night staff was amazing on the evening of 2/15/2019! Stayed twice within a week. The room rate was very inexpensive compared to other Marriotts in the area. The guy at the desk recognized me on the second stay which is nice. I had a king bed and sofa. I love it when you can put YouTube on the big TV. Bathroom was clean. Thats all I need. I tend to get late check-outs which were no problems. Since I stay late I dont know what they offer for breakfast because Im still sleeping.

I enjoyed my stay here at Courtyard Marriott Texarkana. From the moment I walked in the door to every encounter thereafter I was greeted warmly and received excellent customer service. I accosted the front desk personnel with questions and they always provided great assistance. I also patronized the bistro restaurant for my evening meal. The bistro burger is delicious. The elevator broke 1 day during my visit but it was repaired promptly. I really liked the atmosphere and aside from leaving daily for work I couldnt find a good reason to leave otherwise. My room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable but could improve.Interior is updated and modern enough. Pillows are soft and aplenty. Towels are clean and newer. Lobby has lots to offer. Minus one star for lack of lotion and had to ask for toothbrush & toothpaste. And no complimentary water. Lastly, TV system is a little older. But for basic sleeping and service, its quite comfortable.

Very very clean, quiet and comfortable

I cant comment on entire stay as we are just checking in, however not a great start. The room had no light bulbs in the fixtures next to bed. Ok, little inconvenient, but nothing that couldnt be fixed. Except there are no light bulbs in the facility to put in fixtures. The desk mgr was extremely rude because when asking for bulb we were apparently interrupting a personal conversation. She waved her hand and said she would get to it, then resumed her PERSONAL conversation. Stay tuned.

Our stay at the Courtyard Texarkana was nothing short of extraordinary. I was taking my 100-year-old mother on a road trip to celebrate her birthday, and this was our first stop. She was treated like a queen, the room was fantastic, and the service was extraordinary. The bathroom and accessible shower were perfect, and the jetted tub was a delight for a caretaker. :-) We have since stayed at a JW Marriott, a Renaissance, the Magnolia, and several other Courtyards, and Mother considers Texarkana the best of the lot. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

It was a quick overnight trip but the rooms were comfortable and clean. They have a list of menus compiled for local eateries ranging from fast food to finer dining. The free continental breakfast was wonderful. I wish all my travel stops were at Courtyard!!! Ill definitely be back

Check in very late and was only there for about 6 hours. Night staff was very friendly and helpful. The young man really seems to enjoy his job. I would have to give him a 10 on appearance and be professional.

Room was decent. Service was decent. It was a last minute decision to stay here. This hotel served its purpose as we slept soundly for the night. Nothing bad, nothing spectacular. Just your average stay.

This is one of the best places Ive stayed at.. my single king size room is beautifully designed.. so also is the large lobby and Cafe.. TVs laid out like a sports bar.. booths like a nothing Ive seen before.. the colors, ambiance is that found on a fine resort hotel.. I look forward to many more stays here..

I never leave reviews, but I have never been so disappointed in a hotel. I booked 1 king room with sofa and 1 queen bed with 2 queen beds. I arrived to check in and front desk lady told me there was no rooms left with 2 beds! After chatting awhile she finally send someone up to see if there was one available. There was one available, thankfully! Another couple traveling with us said they booked it and online it said it was confirmed and charged their card but they received a sorry we dont have your room email. When they got to the hotel they got a nice big king room with sofa bed. We got a king without a sofa which we booked!! Front desk lady also stated the pool hours were 7am-10pm and on the door they were 6am-11pm. Our travel group was looking for a nice hotel with indoor hot tub. We seen that this courtyard had one in the pictures, although when we got to the pool area, there was nothing!!!!! So disappointed! Also, the cafe there was out of paper so they had to charge the room which wasnt really convenient. So disappointed with this hotel but thankful it was for only one night.

My boyfriend and I stayed here on our trip to Dallas, TX. We were welcomed by the concierge and chit chatted about the area wed be visiting. He was very friendly and helpful. We arrived later in the evening and found the restaurant inside the hotel very convenient for our dinner. The food was wonderful and we enjoyed our own personal TV in our booth with dinner. The room was pleasant and clean. The housekeeping staff was very polite amd helpful as well. We enjoyed breakfast at the restaurant in the morning and even had time to do a bit of a workout in their fitness center. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Room was clean pool was advertised unfortunately not heated. My husband wanted to stay somewhere else but I insisted because I wanted to swim.TV guide did not work.

I have been staying here for years but I will be finding a new hotel for now on. I book through Expedia but once you get there you have to slide your card for $20 incidentals which is fine but now my card has been ran by them for $20, $10, and $8 when I called they said check back in five to seven business days for it to be replaced but no I did NOT authorize more than the $20 to come out this should not be legal and now Im told their system sometimes over authorizes that is not my problem. I will never be back.

We stayed at Courtyard twice within a 2 week period. The hotel room was very nice and accommodating. The staff was very nice to us and when I needed anything, I came and spoke with them and it was handled immediately. We stayed at Courtyard Texarkana going on our trip and on our way back. I would recommend this hotel because overall everything was very good. The grounds were clean and nice. Our room was clean and restful. The bed slept very well and I loved the amenities. Surprisingly, the coffee in my room was really good. I was happy that I could enjoy a cup while checking the weather before we left. I have experienced bad coffee and disgusting coffee makers in other hotels. Thank you for a nice welcoming hotel and thank you Hotel Staff for being so kind!

Great stay. Worth the money. Large bathroom w/ nice shower. Only drawback was the tv location.

Location was good, restuarants close and a variety within a mile. Interstate access tricky but that has to do with civil engineers :). Hotel was very comfortable and quite. Room worked well as a mini-suite or business room. Had a little business to attend to and there were enough chairs for the three of us to sit and talk. The spacious lobby/eatery/longue were quite good, wish I could have enjoyed them more. My partner and I enjoyed the variety at breakfast as well.

I had been on the road for 20 hrs and had experienced several highway closures en route to my home. I called at the last minute to make a reservation which was accommodated very efficiently. The night clerk provided great directions to the hotel and had everything ready when I arrived an hour later. I was not feeling well and they were able to get me checked in quickly. Room was clean with no ambient noise, bed was comfortable, access to highway was easy, only regret is that I couldnt stay longer.

For the past five years my husband and I have taken overnight getaways about twice a year. We always stay here! The staff is friendly and the rooms are very comfortable and clean! The prices for a king suite is very reasonable. We love the convenience of shopping during the day and walking to a restaurant in the evening from the hotel. My son loved the indoor pool.

1. There was a different room charge for each night.2. The beds were not comfortable at all.3. There were no trash liners in the trash containers and they were never emptied.4. Excessive time to get hot water in the wash basin.5. The temperature could hardly be regulated.6. The tv channel was not HD.7. Spent coffee pouches were never removed from the coffee pot area.8. There were no laundry bags.9. There was no complimentary coffee in the lobby and certainly no breakfast buffet.

We had such a great stay!!! We came for a baseball tournament and we were here for 4 days. Breakfast was great, rooms were nice and clean, beds comfortable and lobby/bar was absolutely great to hang out in and socialize. The staff was great!! They took care of us and tolerated all of the traffic. They welcomed us, celebrated our wins made us feel at home and took care of our every need. Special thanks to Tameca, Anthony, Chris, Tucker, Tricia, Jeffery and Alum for your hospitality. You all made our stay extra special and wish you the best. Had reservations at another hotel but they were messed up so we booked here. So happy that things turned out the way they did. Wouldnt have wanted to stay anywhere else!!!! This was such a wonderful experience. We had been on the road 10 hours with 3 children, ages4,3,and 1. It was quiet,calm smelled wonderful and we were treated with the utmost respect,even though Im sure we looked a fright! Wed had an horrendous experience that same evening at another hotel and had to switch. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone! Thank you for your awesome service!

Comfortable location but an older property with some updates. The water pressure was extremely weak and had to manipulate the shower to get it to stream water, plus the tub had a severe dip in the middle making you feel like you were in a very narrow canoe. Nice place for a night but would not consider it for an extended stay. The staff was very nice and friendly.

An Ant infestation resulted in a room move being necessary -- not a huge deal -- things happen. But the customer service piece was the opposite of expected. You would expect apologetic, understanding behavior from the employees at the front desk when a call was made to inquire about a $100 deposit (hold for incidental fees) being charged for the 2nd room. Instead, the young lady wanted to cut me off & be dismissive. Our company was using this hotel for managers in town training -- would have been for 8 weeks per new manager -- but this young lady just cost the location our business from this point forward. Ill do business with a company that treats its guests well. This courtyard needs to spend some time selecting the right employees & then training appropriately.

Nice and clean. Friendly people. Could use a little TLC, but its solid.

I was pleased to be greeted in a professional and friendly manner. The hotel was decorated stylishly with Christmas lights and arrangements. It put a smile on my face immediately. My room was perfect. The bedding on the king sized bed was luxurious and I was thrilled to know that check out was not until noon, so I slept long and well before facing the next 5 hours of driving ahead of me. I will be back again.

Biggest single room with wonderful décor. The staff was great and so friendly and helpful! Only thing was that the hotel didnt offer a continental breakfast but had a Starbucks in the lobby.

Had to give 5 stars. First hotel Ive slept at where I didnt wake up a million times to different sounds. The bed and pillows are actually more comfortable then what I sleep on at home, and I love my bed and swear by my pillow. The burger from the bistro was amazingly tasty and the folks at the front, nothing but cordial and helpful. From now on, I will stay here every time Im in Texarkana.

I wish I could get less than 1 STAR. My stay was HORRIBLE. I will for sure never stay here again. I was there on business for CHRISTUS Health. The room had a bad smell. A rat visited me from the AC unit. After I moved to a new room the shower didn’t work. On my last day there the elevator was out of order. I requested to speak to a manager 2 times after check out the manager never called me. I had to call again to finally catch her. Once I finally spoke to Kesha the manager she was very passive about what I encountered she sounded very inexperienced and lacked sensitivity training.

Staff was very welcoming and friendly on check-in answering questions. Lobby was very open and bright. Hotel and rooms were clean, roomy and comfortable. We were very tired after putting 12 hours on the road and waiting till we found a Courtyard was the right decision as we know Marriott has comfortable beds. We didnt have time to eat breakfast the next morning, as we headed out early at 5, but I could tell this was definitely a hotel I would pick to stay at if I was on vacation.

This hotel is clean, the bed and showers are perfect. The best experience and the hotel clerk, Amber, is the most adorable person Ive been in contact with during my 6-day stay. Her natural happiness is a balm for a hard day.
