Danny cut my grandsons hair. My grandson is 12 and has trouble being comfortable around strangers. Danny put him at ease and his hair looked great. He loved the cut and we will definitely be back. I promise that we will back often to keep it under control. It was a little long to begin with.

So friendly that Terry the owner, was kind enough to message my girlfriend on Facebook and make several passes at her. Hair cuts are decent, just keep your personal stuff quiet and don’t bring anyone with you.

Definitely let the barbers here get you together. Especially for a beard fade and razor cut. Regular cosmetology shops arent even licenced to use a straight razor. Men should always go to a barber in my opinion.

I did a google search for a barber to cut my son’s hair and found Terry’s shop. It was a nice distance away from home so I was hoping that the reviews would hold true and the cut would be worth the drive. The overall experience definitely did not disappoint. As a female I often dread taking my son to the barbershop. It can be an uncomfortable place to be sometimes based on some of the conversations/behaviors that take place there. This shop however, was a more intimate setting than what I’m used to and the guys were professional and respectful. Terry was very friendly and personable and so patient with my 5yo, he made us all very comfortable. I requested a low fade and it turned out very nice! This is a great shop to go to if you’re in the area or (like me) don’t have many to choose from who are experienced cutting hair for people of color. We wont be back as often as I’d like only because of the distance but I’ll surely be making more frequent trips to Terre Haute. Thanks Terry!

Nice looking barbershop. Great music, professional barbers that have awesome personalities. Ive gotten my hair cut by two barbers there, my hair looked nice both times.

Terry provides excellent conversations and even better haircuts. I personally was never one for frequent barber shop visits until I met him. He will cut to any preference or hairstyle you desire. His utility and capability with clippers is unmatched in his area. Ive been going in weekly since the opening of the shop and dont plan to stop my visits. I would strongly recommend anyone, from all walks of life to go in and see what he can do for you.

I was recommended to Terrys Barbershop by a friend and Im glad that I got my haircut from there. At first, I was hesitant to get my haircut by someone new because I had bad experiences before from other barbers. I figured Id give Terrys Barbershop a shot because my friend that got his haircut from there got his cut from Terry and it looked sharp. When I first walked into Terrys Barbershop it felt really welcoming. The look of the inside and how clean it was was something that caught my attention. Its all about appearance, and the appearance of his shop wowed me. Throughout my time at the shop we had a good conversation and one thing I love most is hearing peoples failures and seeing how they succeed from it. His backstory is amazing and I see him being a huge inspiration for other people around the Terre Haute community and students at Indiana State University. When Terry was done cutting my hair I felt great and left feeling like a whole new man. I will definitely be going back to Terrys Barbershop and Im happy to say that I have found my new spot to get my haircut while Im in college.

My favorite barber in Terre Haute! I’ve been looking for a decent barber since I got here. I’m a senior now and I finally found one. Terry is real, accountable, and dependable! That’s rare with most barbers especially in Terre Haute. He’s always on time and gets you out quickly, with a nice cut too! Good quality service every time I go in.

This may be a fairly long post so please hang with me because there is a lot to say! I provide Terrys uniforms and things for the shop however that dont earn an automatic 5 stars. What earns the 5 stars is first and foremost how relatable Terry is. Great conversation is to be had and within the first 2 minutes of talking you can truly tell cutting hair is not just a 9 to 5 for him it is his heart and soul and I must say he is very very good at what he does. I walked into his shop looking like Shrek but walked out feeling like a million bucks! When talking about the different color chairs in the waiting area of the shop he said they stand for every race, color, and creed that walks thru the front door and that is one of the most impactful statements he could make especially in this day and age. I cant say enough good things about this man and his business but I do know he will go far and I am truly glad our paths crossed because I have met not only a customer but a friend and barber for the rest of my days! Terre Haute needs this man as there are no other barbers with so many good qualities! Make them appointments and keep him busy you will not be disappointed.
